Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. I kiss
on us seven one good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
You want to know how I know China is messing
with us.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
I'm just kidding.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
But what was going on with Outlook yesterday and Microsoft teams?
Speaker 4 (00:15):
Oh my god, on the busiest day, quite busiest, quite
possibly busiest day of at least the fourth quarter, Microsoft
Outlook just goes.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Down at maybe ten am yesterday, And it was one
of those things where it was just there's so much,
there is so much to do with the holiday at
the end of the week, worked to get ahead on projects,
to finish up vacations, et cetera. Just wouldn't work, couldn't
answer emails, couldn't search emails. I was like trying to
(00:48):
send stuff to my Gmail to send out to other people.
I'm pretty sure whatever emails that I was able to
get out sent like three or four times.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
So I looked like a crazy person.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
I was like, someone is playing today, you want to
get to the American people mess with their emails the
day of leading into Thanksgiving, the Monday leading into Thanksgiving.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
According to CNN, I just looked this up.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
They've said, quote, we've restored functionality for all impacted services
except Outlook on the web, which is still affected for
a small number of users. This was before eleven o'clock
last night. We're monitoring and troubleshooting to fully recover. That's
how I access Outlook, by the way, is through the web.
So I'm taking this as a sign that if this
(01:34):
thing isn't really up and running, although it seems to
be fine for me this morning, but if it happens again,
I'm just dropping the mic literally and I'm leaving.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
All right, We've got some things to get to. At
six point fifty.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Of course, i'll do the daily latest on with the
bridge is because we did hear from the fire department.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
I'll have that quote for you.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
And a brand new podcast is hitting this.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
I'm not surprised, Well maybe i am.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
I can't tell if I'm surprised that this woman is
putting out a podcast after so much hype being around
her husband and her brother in law.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
You might be picking up what I'm putting down.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
We'll get to that and what she had to say
about it, what it's called, et cetera.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Our former UC grad coming up.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Like I said, a't six fifty in the three things
you need to know to get your day started here
in Cincy.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Best way to keep.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Listening to Tip in the morning is on iHeartRadio. I
invite you to either download it or pull it up
on Apple CarPlay. Just search Kiss one oh seven one.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
When you need to know she's got you, It's three
things with TIF on Hi.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
Good morning, Good morning. We're just before is seven o'clock on.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
This Tuesday, although it feels like it could potentially be
a Thursday, and with the way that the week is falling,
et cetera, we're going to get to bridge updates and
with the fire department had to say their latest statement
of course on four to seventy one here in just
one second, a reminder that it's a rain Showers are
gonna start to move in over the next couple of
days or so.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Temperatures also dropping.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
On Thanksgiving, we're looking at highs in the mid forties,
which I think is okay. I'm just curious about if
we're gonna get precipitation during the Thanksgiving Day race and
or any football games. So I'll keep you posted on
that one. All right, four to seventy one shoring towers
still on their way up the demolition I had talked
about this yesterday, but as a reminder, is set to
begin on Friday, and that'll take us to the end
(03:29):
of December before we even begin repairs in reconstruction A
four seventy one. The positive in this, though, is we're
about to enter the season where life slows down a
little bit, which will hopefully lead to less traffic once
we get through Thanksgiving. I'm gonna get to some traffic
stuff here in a second. But the Fire Department did
(03:50):
send a statement to WLWT saying they have gotten frequent,
reoccurring questions about the cause of the fire and it
is still being active investigated by the FIU, which is
the Fire Investigative Unit. There is currently nothing to share
about the duration or the timeline of that investigation. There's
been a lot of speculation though about who started this,
(04:12):
why they started this.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
To that, they said, the cause of the fire is.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Still being actively investigated by the Fire Investigative Unit. There
is currently nothing to share about the duration of the timeline.
I'm sorry this speculation cannot currently be confirmed or denied.
As the FIU is regarding the four to seventy one bridge, ongoing,
sharing information too soon can compromise the integrity of the
investigation by jeopardizing witness safety, alerting potential suspects, and revealing
(04:41):
crucial strategies. For this reason, until the FIU has a
definitive reason to share, we will not be sharing anything. Okay,
I'm sure there's tea there, and when it is to
be spilled, you know, we will. Some other traffic things,
I had just heard my guy Brian at W talking
about the fact that there's going to be a lot
(05:04):
of air traffic at CBG, but as of right now
said that it's only about five minutes through security. So
if that changes, you'll have to let me know if
you're on your way to the airport.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Mara.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Second in three things you need to know this morning,
let's talk about Khalid. I'm sure you probably scrolled past this,
maybe even over the weekend. It took me a day
or so to address it because I think someone's sexual
preferences are just their own, like that is whatever. Khalid
said it best there. But to give you a little backstory,
a former boyfriend of his essentially outed him on Twitter
(05:37):
over the weekend. Khalid had posted a few things you know,
essentially saying I'm paraphrasing here that I wasn't hiding it.
I just didn't think it was, you know, important enough
to be public knowledge. My business is my business. He
did go on to post a video late last night
though here he is that.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Dude to not dated four.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
To five years ago.
Speaker 6 (05:57):
Y'all.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
The last time that I talked to this was four
years ago.
Speaker 6 (06:02):
Y'all.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
This is all random. I don't know why he did it.
I don't know what's going on with him. You know,
mental health is real. But I haven't even had a
conversation or seen this dude in four years. Mm.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
He also addressed in the video certain allegations, one about
pink cocaine, which we've talked about a good amount with Diddy.
It's molly and cocaine laced together, burglary. And there was
one other thing and I'm wondering if that guy his
ex had accused him of that, and he did address that.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
You might scroll past the rest of the video on
that one.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
And then, lastly, in three Things you Need to Know
this Morning, former UC graduate favored of Cincinnati. I love
how she's always wearing Bearcats stuff, especially when she goes
to the Chiefs games. Kylie Kelsey announced that she's got
a new podcast coming out. She's joining the podcast fam
This is called Not Gonna Lie And here's trailer.
Speaker 7 (07:00):
I was this close to calling it around and find
out and I still might do it.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Try me sorry, back to this trailer.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Listen.
Speaker 7 (07:09):
I'm just as shocked as all of you that I'm
starting a podcast. But if everyone's going to be talking
about me and my family, you might as well hear
it from me.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
I can just imagine what some of those conversations were
like behind closed doors with her close family, friends, agents,
her husband, their family saying like, listen, just you know,
jump jump on the bandwagon essentially dollars wise, yes, but
too like share your story under your own words, because,
like she said, their people are going to talk about you,
might as well hear it from out of your own mouth.
(07:37):
And I feel like she's I feel like she's a vibe.
I feel like the podcast will do well.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
All right.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
That is three things.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Oh, by the way, the first episode comes out first
week in December.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
For that is three.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Things you need to know for the twenty sixth of November.
I want to remind you as you go about the
rest of your holiday prep and such.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
We're always here, Okay, regardless.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
Of where you are, you can always search kiss on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
I'll be with you for the rest of the week
in the mornings.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
You also can be a part of our commercial free
music as well and our next conversation coming up at
seven twenty. What famous TV theme songs go with which
famous show?
Speaker 3 (08:18):
How is your knowledge on this?
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Do you think you have what it takes to get
all of these right?
Speaker 3 (08:23):
We'll do that next.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
You're waking up, kiss good morning.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
It's the season of games at holidays and such, so
I figured we would play one in our family this morning.
Speaker 6 (08:35):
Here.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
It all started yesterday I had talked.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
About one Tree Hill Wink Wink, and I just couldn't
stop replaying the theme song in my head once we
finished talking about the show, and so I took that
and a bunch of other TV theme songs and put
them together to create a game.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
Okay, Hi, good morning, you're on the air.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Yeah, this is the one that I had led off
with in the beginning, which I think is a layup,
but I'll play it for you.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
Here we go.
Speaker 6 (09:05):
I don't want to be and then.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
What what is that TV show?
Speaker 8 (09:14):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (09:14):
My god, isn't it so good? I would rewatch that
right now. I don't know why I haven't restarted it. Okay,
well it's you.
Speaker 7 (09:20):
You.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
I feel like you're good enough to do a couple
of more, right.
Speaker 9 (09:23):
Yeah, Oh my god, you're two for two.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
Okay, here we go. Next one.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
I will be surprised if you get that one. It
was tough for me to even get that one.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
I have no idea.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
It's okay, it's boy meets World. Yeah, I know that
was a tough one. Okay, we took a little dip here.
We've got a few more.
Speaker 9 (10:04):
Just sleep.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
I was waiting for that part.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Do you know it is improvement? You got it?
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Tim the tool man tailor? Are you really good at
this game? All right, we've got one or two more.
Here we go.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
We're gonna wake up in the morning and the mommits on
the morning.
Speaker 10 (10:31):
I don't think i'll ever make it all the time.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
By side, I'll come my books. I give myself a
look the corner. Just spend time to see the bus tilib.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
You got it, girl, Okay, I'm gonna play one more
than I might give you a bonus.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
Here we go, California.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Here we come right back where we started from. California.
Speaker 7 (11:02):
Is it Dawson's Creek?
Speaker 2 (11:04):
No, but that is a good one. They sound very similar.
This takes place obviously in California on the hills. You go, no,
it'sc that's the other one. Okay, this is the last one.
And the hint I'll give.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
You because I'm curious if you'll get it. It's modern day.
Here we go. Do you know that one?
Speaker 11 (11:34):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (11:34):
Or woe?
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Girl?
Speaker 3 (11:37):
You got just about all of them in the season
of games. What is uh?
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Your name of what neighborhood are waking up with me?
And I totally forgot to get that.
Speaker 9 (11:44):
My name is Novella and Taylor mount Navea.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
I hope you have a great Thanksgiving and you, I mean,
when the games come up at the holiday, you be
sure to lead them because you did really well.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Thank you, So you're welcome.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
You get fifteen million Tiff in the Morning points to
put in your bank. I don't know if Starbucks is
taking those yet, so I'm you'll have to let me
know if they accept Tiff in the Morning points. Calling
for clout anytime here on the show. Okay, coming uh,
let's get to this. Two songs from now. Thirty three
percent of Cincinnatians are trying to do this one thing
(12:20):
over the holidays that might help your local business.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
So don't go var.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Yes, sayon no you in Mennon, Hi, good morning.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
I saw some statistic that like almost nearly half of
Cincinnatians and Northern Kentuckians and I should just say try
staters sorry that are gonna holiday shop this season, want
to do this one thing that could big time help
your local business if you own one, or maybe you
know someone that has one, give me a hot sec.
(12:53):
I want to remind you that around eight twenty is
this morning, make a Date or Break It's Relationships and
Therapy Intersect my show on Tuesdays. Our licensed clinical counselor
aka our professional, our relationship professional is gonna chit chat
what it's like to bring significant others around the fam.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
Oh boy, this year could be a nightmare.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
We're gonna help you avoid the nightmare though, whether you're
newly dating someone or maybe you're married to them and
they just do not get along with the mother in law. Hello,
I know a few of you, so we'll get to
that around eight twenty. All right, So every season right
around this time. I like to give local businesses shout
outs because I saw somewhere like I said that nearly
half a tri staters around the area want to shop
(13:35):
local if you're gonna buy a gift and you don't
want to buy it on the TikTok shop. Although gosh,
that can get you every time. They want to shop local.
So usually once a show, I take people's businesses on
Instagram and I give them a shout out. This morning
is shop soul Clay Studio. If you want to follow
(13:56):
her on Instagram, Shop soul Clay. She does all sorts
of clay earrings. I think she's getting into the candle business.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Love that for.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Her, and I feel like that type of gift is
good for either not necessary maybe not a secret Santa
or way, but.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
A secret Santa maybe?
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Is that the one where you draw the numbers we
call it. We call it a Yankee swap where where
I'm originally hailing from, which is New England.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
But yeah, those are good.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Those are good teacher gifts right, just rant like little
things throughout your neighborhood. Maybe if you want to stock
up up on a few of those things, So shout
out to shop soul Clay. Check her out on social
if you're looking to shop local this holiday season. We
talked yesterday about how millennials are the ones to spend
the most money, so also conveniently the ones to scroll Instagram.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
Hello there you go.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Okay, if you have a business that you want to
shout out, come on. We do it every day at
least once or twice at the TIF to F's Potter
like the Wizard, shoot me a DM coming up around
seven fifty will die into the three things you need
to know to get your day started. In Sincy, the
dictionary dot com word of the Year was announced. I
wonder if you have a guest because it was the
(15:12):
most popular word on the Internet in the back half.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
Of the year. When you need to know she's got you,
it's three.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Things with tip on kiss.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
When I was seven, Hey, good morning.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
What was the word of the year according to Dictionary
dot com.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
We're going to get to that in a hot second.
I just want to.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Touch base on whether very quickly we'll see scattered reen
and temperatures in the forties for Thanksgiving Day. You might
run into some problems if you're traveling north with a snow,
rain mix. Busiest travel day of the year used to
be tomorrow, but you'll start to taste a little bit
of that today. I noticed the Brent Spence and Taylor
Southgate were busy yesterday. Of course, with the closures on
(15:52):
four seventy one not getting any better. All right, let's
start off with I Thanksgiving Day tradition at the White House.
President Joe Biden pardoned both turkeys yesterday the.
Speaker 8 (16:05):
Last four years out of the honor to continue that tradition,
I pardoning peanut butter and jelly, chocolate and chip, Liberty
and Bell.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
And today P JM.
Speaker 8 (16:17):
Blossom, Well, join the free birds in the United States
of Mark.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
What a silly little tradition that I don't know, just
always it's silly, you know, sometimes be a little silly
every once in a while.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
Brings me back though to this episode of the.
Speaker 11 (16:33):
With the Power Vested in Me, I hereby declare Drumstick
and Cranberry pardoned from the Thanksgiving dinner table.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
And also for tax evasion.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
All right, the second and three things you need to
know this morning, Let's talk about the Menendez brothers out
of California. You obviously are familiar with the two of them.
If you've watched any of the documentaries on any of
the platform a little bit of history.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
And they've been behind.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Bars for several decades, murdering their parents right now, as
of recent and when I say recent, in the last
you know, several years or so, they were moved into
the same prison and the former District Attorney of California
was considering resentencing them. Now, there were three different options
(17:23):
if they were resentenced, something around clemency, something about you know,
time served, getting out early, and then the third option
there being the possibility of parole. Now, this sentencing hearing
was supposed to happen December eleventh. Now I can imagine
being the Menendez brothers in prison. You know, you don't
really get your hopes up much when you're there, but
(17:45):
I would believe, you know, hey, there's a chance we're
going to be out before Christmas.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
That is no longer happening.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
There's a new district attorney elected in from this past
election here and he said, quote, I need more time
to review the evidence, etc. They're going to push that
hearing until January thirtieth and January thirty First, they have
two new pieces of key evidence involving almost like confessions
and just you know that they were abused, and hopefully
(18:16):
the DA reviews that takes it seriously thirty years later
and we'll see what happens to the Menendez brothers. But
that is a close case that people are watching, and
I'm curious to see what happens from him, all right.
And then lastly, in three things you need to know
this morning, the word of the year, now I had
told you.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
Was this last week of the week before that.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
The Cambridge Dictionary word of the year, excuse me, was manifest.
The Dictionary dot Com word of the Year was in
fact demure.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
Look I had partner that was Selena Meyer. Sorry, here's demure.
Speaker 6 (18:53):
You see how you do make that work? Very demure,
very mindful. I don't come to work with a green cut,
don't look like a clown when I go to work.
I don't do too much. I'm very mindful of while
I'm at work.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
The internet searches for that word.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
We're up twelve hundred percent between January and August. Other
words in the running for word of the year with
dictionary dot Com where brain, rot and brat, which also
landed on the Cambridge Dictionary Word of the Year we've
got competing words people. All right, that is three things
you need to know to get your day started here
in Cincy on the twenty sixth and November. I think
(19:28):
it's a Tuesday, although it doesn't quite feel like a Tuesday,
coming up.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
At a twenty.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
What's the number one thing you should do if you're
bringing a significant other, old or new around your family
for the holiday season. If your ears are perking up,
catch me on iHeartRadio. If you're getting out of your car,
just search Kiss one oh seven one so you don't
miss it.
Speaker 6 (19:47):
Look at my neck.
Speaker 11 (19:48):
I have pardon turkeys with fewer wattles.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Kiss one o seven one.
Speaker 11 (19:53):
It's time for Tuesday tips on tip in the morning.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
How are you going to entertain everyone in your family
and friends circle the next four or five days? I
have you from everything, Sincey joins the show usually at
this time to give us the tips.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
She does all the research, so that.
Speaker 10 (20:07):
Way don't treat Thanksgiving.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Yeah, I bet there's a laundry list of things to
do around your house, et cetera. But if others have
people coming into town, like, what are you supposed to
do with them?
Speaker 1 (20:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (20:20):
So I wanted to start because Prime is going to
be open on Thanksgiving, and so if you're not wanting
to cook, or you didn't go home to visit family
but you still want a nice meal, or you're just
solo in town, don't check out Prime. They actually have
an amazing bar, pretty big bar as well. So I
actually will go down there and have a drink by
myself every here and there, and I very much enjoy it.
(20:44):
But they're doing a three course dinner which is all
around Thanksgiving courses, and it's only fifty five dollars of
person or eighteen dollars for a kid's plate. So I
thought that it's so great, and they'll be doing that
all Thanksgiving day.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
I wonder if you could probably sneak in their last
minute too, Like if you accidentally burn the entire thing
to the ground, you could probably pull up to Prime
the night of and be like, please save me, I've
ruined the meal. And you know what, you might be
doing that because you're cooking your Thanksgiving this year.
Speaker 10 (21:12):
You're not lying, you're the whole You know, the fire
alarms going off, everything's burnt to it. Chriss, come on,
family in.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
The car, Ya just get in the car and Mary
tiffmus to you as well, and thanks for the solo recommendations.
I've been sharing a bunch of them on my show
throughout the last couple of days.
Speaker 10 (21:29):
Yes, I'm so excited. I love Mary Tiffmas. So I
always love seeing where you're adventuring to around town.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
M h.
Speaker 10 (21:37):
Speaking of that, so obviously Wednesday is the biggest bar
night of the year, so there's a bunch of steff
going on where you can go out vintage just for
having something drinky, SIPs and savories, just having something for
a lot of people have kids and they're like, we
need to get out of the house before we're in
the house all day tomorrow. We don't want to cook
because we're cooking all day tomorrow. And moreline, Loggerhouse is
(22:01):
going to be doing kids Eat Free on Wednesday nights,
and that's every Wednesday night during the market. So go
down there, let the kids get their energy out, ice skate.
They've got to cut a ton of fute little shops
and fake goods and all kinds of stuff, and you
can eat dinner and the kids can eat free, and
I have a fun, little festive start to your holiday.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
I have seen some of the footage on social of
how cool. This is the second year in the row
that more lines on the Svarti Chris Kindle Market.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
It looks good, it looks fun.
Speaker 10 (22:35):
Yeah, and they always do a really really good job,
but it's even better this year. There's more vendors, more
places to try you know, German inspired food from so
definitely you feel like you were walking into a Hallmark
movie when you're down there.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Okay, that's good, that's a good activity to check out
what else we have.
Speaker 10 (22:55):
And then Saturday everyone again you're like, get the hell
out of the house. The break but the yms hit
