Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. Hi, kiss
one seven one, Hi, good morning, good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
It is quite possibly the best Wednesday that feels like
a Friday of the year. And listen, I know I'm
not naive and to think that everyone is gonna want
have the best Thanksgiving weekend ever, and too that you
don't have to work. You know, I think there's a
good mix of all of the above that listens to
my show. And just to let you know, you've always
got a friend in me. First of all, thank you
(00:28):
to our first responders, etc. Anyone that's got to keep
the ship afloat over the next couple of days. I
appreciate you, even if we've never met. And then if
you're doing a solo Thanksgiving, come back to me around
I don't know, maybe we touch base around seven to
ten on this. Okay, I'll take care of you. I've
got some tips. I promise I've done it before. With
that being said, do you still black Friday Shop? I
(00:53):
was talking to Sarah. You'll recognize her name in her
voice because she comes on my show from time to time.
She is on the Kid Chris Morning Show at WEBN.
Her and I were together last night and she's like, oh, yeah,
you know, my friends and I are getting together for
Black Friday shopping on Friday. And I was like really,
and she's like, oh yeah, We've always done it, like
you still do it.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
You like it.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
And I had admitted this on the air yesterday that
I feel so disconnected from holiday shopping because I stopped
doing it like years and years and years ago. My
family and I don't exchange gifts, and my friends and
I just go out for drinks, so there's really no
reason for me to in person shop for gifts. But
so that was the first surprise to me. Second, when
(01:35):
I was on my way in this morning. So I'm
going to try to explain this. If you're going seventy
one north towards Kenwood, which is where our office is,
diagonal from the mall, if you were to take a left,
that would get you to Kenwood, if it would if
you were to go right, which is away from the mall,
you would pull into my driveway. Essentially here there is
a highway sign those ones that are on wheels, right
(01:56):
outside the entrance of my driveway that says mall track
and mall parking go this way away from the mall.
The only reason why I think the police would put
or whoever runs those boards would put that outside is
because they're anticipating so much traffic around the Kenwood area
this weekend, which for some reason still surprises me. I mean,
(02:18):
the weather's not going to be great, so I can
see why. I can real essay why on that front
as people are going to the mall, et cetera towards
the weekend. But yeah, I thought the Black Friday shopping
thing was just kind of a thing in the past.
You'll have to keep me posted on your thoughts. Coming
up next, we do have a timeline now for four
seventy one. If you're curious about that, I'll have that
more and the three things you need to know to
(02:39):
get your day started in sincey coming up at six fifty.
Best way to keep listening to TIF in the mornings
on iHeartRadio when you search kiss one oh seva one
Happy Wednesday Friday.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
When you need to know she's got you, it's three
things with TI.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Hi, good morning. We are just before.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Seven o'clock, and you might have to pay more money
if you're going out to eat at Factory fifty two.
I'll explain why here in a hot second, let me
start off by saying, we all have to be very
careful tonight and really for the rest of the weekend.
I just was scrolling through our news and there were
several accidents, some of them fatal, in just like the
(03:22):
last twelve hour period, and it is the number one
drinking night of the year. I mean, I think it
goes without saying that we need to be careful on
that front. Number one and number two distracted driving. Just
let's not go into our final month of twenty twenty
four having to grieve someone close to us. Okay, all right,
let's start off with four to seventy one, the latest
(03:43):
on that. We're expected to have a news conference today
at ten for a timeline.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
The Ohio Department of Transportation plans on news conference this
morning at ten o'clock on the next steps for the
damage section and the projected timetable to make repairs to
get it reopened. It will be a month this coming
Sunday since the fire at Sawyer Point damage the ramp southbound,
ODO says four additional shoring towers have been installed, making
(04:09):
for a total of ten to support the damage section
of four seventy one am I.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
Every time I hear and read about I just cannot
believe how badly damaged it was. So like you heard
Matt Reese there from seven hundred Wow, construction starts Friday,
and then we'll hopefully have a press conference with a timeline.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Update after the show today.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
The good news about this, the positive is that this
is the time of year where things start to slow down.
Outside of the traffic you're going to see today and
for Thanksgiving, Hopefully it will alleviate some of the mess down.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
There, all right. Second, and three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
I had mentioned there's a chance you're gonna have to
pay more money if you go out to eat at
Factory fifty two. And I don't want to report this
story and then have you not go there. Let me
explain the headline so that you have a little bit
better of an idea. The developer known as PLK A
Factory fifty two trying to implement a fee of two
percent on food and beverage and one percent on hospitality service.
(05:06):
You know, the city will not benefit from the sales tax.
People of the meeting that happened last night or saying well,
where's this money gonna go?
Speaker 5 (05:14):
Right.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
If this, there's gonna be another reading on this next
week and they'll decide whether or not this is going
to happen. This tax would essentially benefit PLK Investment Group
and not the community.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Now here's what you do need to know though.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Since twenty nineteen, just about all businesses down at the
banks have a one percent fee on food and beverage
sales as well.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
So this isn't like.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
Out of the blues somewhere new that this has never
happened before. PLK did send a statement to WLWT saying
it's important to note that it is not a tax
on Norwood residents. Has said it's a modest fee up
to two percent on food and beverage and one on
hospitality that will be collected from visitors enjoying the offerings
at Factory fifty two. So these funds will directly support
(06:02):
initiatives to expand our free events, grow the customer base,
and create even more opportunities for people to experience all
that Factory fifty two.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Has to offer.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
The next meeting is December tenth, But I know you're
going to see that headline and I wanted to make
sure you had both sides of it. Also in the
food in BEV world. I just saw an announcement that
Oakley Kitchen is closing. I believe as of this Saturday.
All right, that is, I know I have one more
I have one more thing for you. How about some
new music. How about this combo. We've got Teddy Swims,
(06:34):
Luke Bryan and Quavo with a song titled George Away
coming out this Friday.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
It's just how.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
I'm soaking George. Don't care about what you say.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
I could see that being a hit again that comes
out this Friday. Good morning, Good morning, I am here.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
We are live.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
You're waking up with TIF in the morning on Kiss
onue O Seva one commercial free for the rest of
the hour. As you go about your Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
I am assuming you're on your way to work for
the half day. If not, maybe out and about running errands.
You can always search kiss on iHeartRadio. Quickly, Before we
get into what we're talking about, I just want to
(07:36):
let you know if you're doing a solo Thanksgiving DM
me at the tiff to F's Potter Like the Wizard
for recommendations. I'm going to the lightele Park Hotel for
my dinner. And I also heard Abby from Everything since
Ya on the show recommending Prime also doing an in
person dinner as well.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
So there's just two off the top of my head.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
And Mary Tiff Miss Tiff Miss is all about sharing
holidays with those that are solo or single or transplants
and just different activities. And it's all based off of
recommendations that you send me.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
So shoot me a message.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Okay, I'm all right, coming up two songs from now.
I want to know who would you bring to your
dinner table if you could choose any celebrity.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Matt Rice all day long. I feel like that's actually
not a bad one.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
A comedian at the dinner table might just take the
eyeballs off of you. Talk back with Tiff on iHeartRadio.
You'll see that microphone right next to the play butt.
I want to see as many how many we can get,
how many weird, random, strange celebrities we can get on
the show.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Next, you're waking up with Fifth in the morning. Kiss One.
Speaker 5 (08:45):
One else wants tailor Sift at their Thanksgiving table, Like,
come on, how amazing would it be to have like
the most popular pop icon in the world at your
Thanksgiving table.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Well, first of all, thank you for the talk back
with Tiff. That's what we're talking about at the moment.
When you search kiss on Iheartradium, you'll see the microphone
next to the play button. Which celebrity. Excuse me, would
you bring to your Thanksgiving dinner table tomorrow if you could,
maybe in lieu of someone else, or maybe just as
an add on, that's up to you. Ah, we stand
(09:18):
in very different opinions on that one. I think having
tailor at your dinner table would be very overwhelming. It'd
be too much pressure, too much, too much. I was
just thinking about Thanksgiving though. It's just it's one of
my favorites. Whether it's your favorite right now or maybe
in the future it'll be again someday.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
It is just my favorite.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
This is probably the fifth or sixth the year in
a row that I've gone out to a fancier dinner.
I haven't sat down at a Thanksgiving dinner table since
twenty maybe twenty eighteen. I'm not kidding, And it's you know,
with varying people in various stages of my life. Tomorrow,
if you're looking for a place to go, I am
going to Subido at the LTL Park decorated for the holidays.
(10:02):
I love the idea of a fancier like a Christmas cosmo.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Mmmm.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Another thing I haven't done in a long time either
is gone back to my hometown to drink.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
But that was always the thing.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
It's got a sweet spot window though, right when you're
kind of in college or maybe like just freshly graduated.
Unless you live on the West Side and you've never
left the West Side just kidding, you'll have to recommend.
Maybe shoot me a message or you can use that
same talkback feature. Is there a really cool place to
go that's full of locals the night before Thanksgiving? Maybe
(10:40):
I'll add it to my tiff miss to do list
over the next well, I guess twelve hours or so.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
But anyways, I digress.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
We're in the midst of talking about which celebrity you
would bring to the Thanksgiving Day table.
Speaker 6 (10:50):
If I can invite anybody to Thanksgiving dinner, it would
actually be Robin Williams. I know he's passed away, but
he was so funny and raw and he would just
bring the house down.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
You know.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
That's one I would have never thought of.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
So far, we've heard Taylor Swift, Matt Rife and Robin Williams.
I think I would probably go more of like a
Vince Vaughan. I think I think comedy kills every time. Yeah,
why don't we leave it there for now and give
you a chance to contribute enough of me let's.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Hear from you. Hi, good morning.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Wow, nothing says I'm going back to my hometown bar
quite like Kalise's milkshake. I'd be Thanksgiving. You're waking up
with TIF in the morning on Kissuano Seve but one.
We're in the midst of talking about if you could
choose any celebrity to sit down with Thanksgiving tomorrow, who
would you choose?
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Checking some of your talkbacks, Tafe.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
If I could have anybody over for Thanksgiving, it would
be Dolly Parton.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
She would be funny and I'd like to know about all.
Speaker 7 (11:56):
The charity that she's done around the world.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Thank you for the talkback with TIF. That that is
a good one.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
That's a good one because I feel like she's she
can get down depending on what type of family environment
you have, you need someone that's gonna be able to
get down with the whatever, you know, with the games,
with the family drama. And I feel like she's a chameleon.
She could fit in. Plus also she'd be like a
gem to talk to.
Speaker 5 (12:18):
I like how about Corral He has a lot of
interesting stories, played a lot of different parts, but also
pretty funny and what I've heard of, pretty nice guy.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Yeah, Steve Carell would be a great one, except I
would probably embarrass myself by giving too many quotes.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
To the office. But also, I like, so far.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
We've got a lot of comedy we've had we we
haven't gotten any like celebrities or artists or anything like that.
Speaker 7 (12:42):
I would want to invite Machine Gun Kelly to my
Thanksgiving got only is he a style icon, such a
versatile artist, and in my opinion, a very attractive human being.
But that's not as important as the fact that, like
lately he's gone sober, He's seemed how beer, He's more
insightful in a lot of his interviews, and just overall
(13:05):
seems like a really great person to sit down with
and have a conversation with. So yeah, MGK okay girl.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
I mean, unfortunately, I think he's booked for tomorrow because
his partner, Megan Fox there just posted some really pretty
pregnant pictures like I love them, so God, why don't
we leave this here for now? But that doesn't mean
that you have to feel left out of the conversation.
Either shoot me a message or you know the talkback feature.
I always talk about talk back with Tim on IR
(13:33):
Radio and the MeeTime. We're still commercial for you.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
Good morning when you need to.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Know she's got you.
Speaker 7 (13:41):
It's three things with tip On said good morning.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
We're just before eight o'clock on this Wednesday, that also
feels like a Friday. Temperatures are in the full eventually
be in the forties.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
That rain is going to move in.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
I'm really hoping that it dissipates by tomorrow. The five
K ten K for FC Sinc. Doesn't start until nine.
There's a chance we'll still see some wet weather and
it'll be in the upper thirties for football, etc. It's
supposed to clear up later in the day, but bitter
cold on the way, especially for the Bengals game on Sunday.
Speaking up, that's where we're gonna start, Coach Zach Taylor
(14:14):
in the locker room here on how ping pong has
made its return.
Speaker 8 (14:18):
Yeah, just create energy in the locker room. You know
it's December football now and need everyone to be at
their best, need everyone to have energy when they walk
in the building. That creates some competitiveness.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
I'm hoping it brings us a win, you know, really
looking forward to it. John John's Jungle Zone kicks off
around ten am that Sunday, right outside the Phils and
you'll see the kiss one oh seven to one flag,
Come say H'm second? And three things you need to know.
Yesterday I had mentioned that Drake was in a pre
action lawsuit against Kendrick Lamar. Okay, this one was based
(14:50):
off It was filing it towards UMG, which is his
music label or the one that represents him. Rather UMG
is Universal Music Group, actually represents both him and kN
in certain ways. Sometimes they use it for just distribution,
But I digress. So basically saying you inflated this track,
you inflated the numbers on this you inflated it, inflated it, etc.
(15:11):
Now we have word now that there's a second pre
action lawsuit filed by Drake's team defamation. You know that
there's claims and not like us, that Drake is a pedophile,
and Drake's team is saying that that's a lie and
you pushed it through and it's defamation. I think I
(15:32):
think he could he has something there with defamation. I
don't think he has anything with the pre action. Again,
this is not a lawsuit yet. It's mostly to gather information.
I read a statement from UMG yesterday. I'll just kind
of paraphrase it. Essentially, they were like, no, no, we
represent all of our artists equally.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
We did not do that. So when there's more on
that one, I'll have it for you.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
And then, lastly, in three things you need to know
this morning, how many fantasy teams are you signed up for?
Or maybe your significant other is because Hayle Kyoko which.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Kaylei Kaylee Kyote Kaylee.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Yeah, the one from Big Bang Theory said her husband
is in ten Yeah, married, a.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Lot of work.
Speaker 9 (16:10):
You find yourselbmit, looking down at your phone a lot trying.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
We're literally all I'm looking at or trail camps.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
Yeah, so Tom, the love of my life is on ten.
Speaker 9 (16:19):
Ten ten different fantasy, ten fantasy teams.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
You know what that means? That means you don't talk
much in the fall ten. Oh my god, that's a commitment.
I can't even do one.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
That is three things you need to know for the
twenty seventh of November coming up in our eight o'clock hour,
we're commercial free, and I want to remind you, regardless
of what your playing is over the next couple of days,
you can always listen to Kiss one oh seven one
and my show on the iHeartRadio app when you search
Kiss one oh seven one.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Good Morning. No, I think I pingpong myself out last year.
You're waking up in the morning, Kiss one Good Morning.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
I have a list of at a get tips for
Thanksgiving that I don't think we'll all agree on because
every family vibe is different. The number one thing on
this list, and I'm going to just start with number
one because I don't agree with it is.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Being on time.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Being on time to Thanksgiving dinner is the opposite of
what I would recommend. And I think, I said, I
think we're gonna have varying opinions on this. If I
say come to my house at two o'clock and you
show up at one thirty, I am still going to
be in the shower. Maybe this is why I haven't
(17:41):
hosted Thanksgiving ever in my life.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
I had when did we talk about this? Monday night?
Speaker 3 (17:46):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (17:46):
No, No, Sunday night. I went to a friends giving.
Host says show up at six. I got there at
quarter of seven. Food wasn't served until about ten pm.
That's why I said, don't go to a friends giving hungry.
So I think we're gonna have varying opinions on the
being late part for Thanksgiving because I've got people in
(18:06):
my friend group that are like, if I show if
I say show up at two, like, you better show
up at two or after, not early.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
But I don't think that'll be the case for everyone.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Second second piece of etiquette for dinner tomorrow, And I'm
wondering if you agree on this one or not offering
assistance in the kitchen. I feel like if you're operating
in your own kitchen, you don't want anyone else in
there except the person that like, maybe understands the kitchen
(18:35):
already dishes. Maybe is like an afters when you offer again,
what do you think on that one? If it's your kitchen,
stay out of it, or yes, I welcome all the.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
Help I can get. Consider a tire came up at
number three.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
This one also varies depending on the vibe of your family.
Are you showing up in a denim tomorrow or are
you showing up in a dressy tracksuit? I'll tell you
I've done the latter for the majority of my life.
But when I go out to dinner tomorrow, I'll probably dress,
I'll probably wear a I'll probably wear high heels tomorrow.
(19:09):
God what it doesn't that sound awful to wear high
heels on Thanksgiving? Or there's a few more communicating dietary needs. Yo,
I know that there is someone listening right now that
is rolling their eyes at cousin Sarah or like Brian's
new girlfriend or new fiance can't eat a single thing
(19:31):
at the table, and so they've got to either make
some new meal for them or I'm I'm assuming that
Sarah is gonna bring her own gross meal and put
it next to everyone at the table. I'm just assuming
that there's someone listening who's thinking that way. And then
the last one, I think this might be five.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
What do you bring?
Speaker 2 (19:49):
What do you bring for a Thanksgiving? Most likely it's
pot luck, right, so you're gonna bring a dessert or
maybe your famous for some sort of side dish.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
But do you bring a ge gift for the host?
Speaker 2 (20:01):
I've always thought having extra bottles to grab to bring
to someone, or maybe you pick up a couple flowers
or points set as I like to keep propagated plants
around my house so that if I go to something
like that, I can always bring one. But that's always
a safe bet. If you don't know what to do,
bring a propagated pathos plant. I'm sure you can make
that within ten seconds. All right, Those would be etiquettes.
(20:22):
Let's open this up to you guys as you get
ready for Thanksgiving. Out of those five that I listed,
were there any that made you giggle that you're like
absolutely not or won't be doing that etiquette tradition at
my house, or one that you are like dead set on?
Speaker 1 (20:36):
Are you a heels family? Are you a denim in
a heels family?
Speaker 2 (20:40):
For your table, you can call I haven't heard anyone's
voice yet this morning five one, three, seven, four nine,
step one or that talk back with tip features always
available to you when you listen to Kiss on iHeartRadio. Hi,
good morning, You're waking up with tip in the morning.
On Kiss one oh seven one, you're walking into a
conversation about the top five etiquette tips for Thanksgiving tomorrow,
(21:02):
all of which I think we're going to have disagreements
on depending on what the vibe of your family was
to rattle through them. One showing up on time, two
offering assistance in the kitchen, three dietary restrictions for what
you wear, and five do you bring a gift to
the host? So I think this one, if I am correct,
(21:25):
is going to talk about being late.
Speaker 9 (21:27):
So I'm married into an American family and I'm Dominican.
And on the American side we eat like one two pm,
but on Dominican side the latest will probably be nine pm.
But the earliest for sure is six pm.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
And I'm wondering if there is a nine pm dinner time,
what time were you expected to show up? It wasn't
nine o'clock, right, And that's another question. When someone says
come to the house at two, you and I are
under the same page that you're not eating at two, right.
I feel like that should be well known. But maybe
I'm wrong on that front.
Speaker 10 (22:04):
So I'm a person who is chronically late, you know,
all the time. And there was this viral post that
was going around social media and it was like tag
one person who's always late and you want a million
dollars or whatever, And there was about twelve people that
tag me.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
I can relate so hard. Thank you for the talkback
with tip.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
I think you might be neurodiversient, and that is called
time blindness. I have it too, my friend. All right,
one more, one more. We're talking about the top five
etiquette tips and whether or not you grew with them
for your Thanksgiving.
Speaker 7 (22:42):
I have always been late, and that's my dad has
always said, you've been late since the day you were born,
because I showed.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
Up two weeks late for my own birth.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
So well, it's good to know that I'm in good
company with others that are often late for things. The
one that I am still waiting to hear you're about
is whether or not you have to dress up for
Thanksgiving because a tire did come up in the etiquette list.
I'm wearing high heels tomorrow, and I don't quite know
how I feel about that. I'll have to report back
when we come back from the break. But nonetheless, do
(23:15):
you agree with these yes or no? Tell me why
I knew all the lyrics to that song like way
too early in my life. You're waking up with TIF
in the morning on Kiss one oh seven one. We're
in the midst of talking about the top five etiquette
tips to follow at dinner tomorrow and whether you agree
with them or not, we finally got one with what.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
It is that you wear.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Do you have to dress up or can you go
cash girl? I am showing up to Thanksgiving and sweatpans
and all comfy clothes.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
It's my family, so they both show up comfy too.
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff Gallo. It's
good to hear your voice. I appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
It's an alternative way to contribute when you search kiss
on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Okay, let's put a pin in this because we got to.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
Get to the three things you need to know to
get your day started in Sincy.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
What about this bridge nightmare? What about coach Zach Taylor?
Speaker 2 (24:09):
What game are the Bengals playing in the locker room
these days?
Speaker 1 (24:12):
I'll have all that in a few minutes.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, Kiss, Good.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Morning, Good morning.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
If you haven't followed us on social yet, at Kiss
one O seven, you might have not seen John John
in his infamous elf suit.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
And let me tell you what it's like to work
with a six foot elf. It is quite.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
A time, quite a time to see an adult male
in yellow leggings slash tights. I bring it up because
our latest video is live for our request elf thon
our first ever. We're doing it here on December ninth,
so you've got a little bit of time. It's to
(24:55):
benefit Make a Wish kids here in Cincy, and we're
really looking for wish makers like you. If you can't
join us on that day, although you can request whatever
song you want.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
I mean, anything goes with this thing.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
And it's our first time, so we're probably gonna break
a lot of rules.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Let's do it right.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
But if you cannot, there's a link to donate in
our stories right now at Kiss one oh seven. So
we'd love to have you again on December ninth. But
if you're in the giving spirit for Giving Tuesday a
couple of days from now.
Speaker 1 (25:25):
We'd love it if you thought of this.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
It's okay if it's not right for you at the moment,
but we are looking for wish makers here in Cincy
to grant wishes to kids with our Make a Wish
Requested on presented by Miami University. We'd love to have
you coming up. Two songs from now ed Sharon released
a Christmas song. Okay, Now, if you think ed Sharon
is gonna put out a Christmas song, you would assume
(25:48):
it's gonna be good.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
I don't know. You'll have to be the judge of
this one. We'll get to that in the.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Three Things you Need to Know in Cincy coming up
two songs from now.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
When you need to know She's got you, it's Three
Things with Tiff.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
We're just before nine o'clock on this Wednesday that feels
like a Friday, and around nine oh five, I have
your chance to win a free trip to Miami for
our iHeartRadio jingle Ball, So don't go far. Weatherwise, we're
gonna see temperatures in the forties with that rain. I'm
hoping that it's gonna move out by our Thanksgiving Day
race and games tomorrow. It could be left over with
temperatures in the thirties eventually, though very chilly as we
(26:28):
head into the weekend. And for the Bengals, which let's
start there since we're talking about it, Coach Zach Taylor
has recently brought ping pong back to the locker room.
Speaker 8 (26:39):
Just green energy in the locker room. You know, it's
it's December football now and need everyone to be at
their best, need everyone to have energy when they walk
in the building. That creates some competitiveness. It's about all
there is to it.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Well, let's hope that it brings us a win. When
you are going down there, look out for John John's
Jungle Zone. It kicks off early in the morning right
outside the Filson there on the street. I'm sure you've
seen it before if you've been down. If not, you
don't usually come up to the banks. That's where he is.
Second in three things you need to know this morning,
let's do our daily bridge update. So we're just about
(27:12):
two hours away from hopefully getting a timeline with a
press conference.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
The Ohio Department of Transportation plans on news conference this
morning at ten o'clock on the next steps for the
damage section and the projected timetable to make repairs to
get it reopened. It will be a month this coming Sunday.
Since the fire at Sawyer Point damage the ramp southbound,
Odon says four additional shoring towers have been installed, making
(27:39):
for a total of ten to support the damage section
of four seventy one.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Crazy how much damage that has been done.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
To that so you've already heard me talk about the
fact that construction starts Friday, and then maybe we'll get
this timeline. I think that construction is going to take
us through the end of December. We're going to be
in this for a little bit of time. I keep saying, though.
Positive news is that this is the season where things
start to slow down with school vacations, et cetera. So
(28:07):
let's hope that there is less traffic in that area.
I don't know, just giving you something to look forward to.
I live in the Mount Adams area, so I see
seventy one South all the time.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
It's a nightmare, all right.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
And then, lastly, in three Things you Need to Know
this morning, I'm giving you a little bit of a
trigger warning because this is not This is not a
happy song, but it is an Ed Sheeron song, and
it's a brand new Christmas song. Before I play it,
I'm gonna give you some updates. It is called Under
the Tree and it is going to be featured in
a movie called That Christmas, which comes out on Netflix
(28:40):
next month, which is based off a children's book series
by Richard Curtis. Richard Curtis wrote the screenplay for the
Christmas classic Love Actually.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
Okay, so here's Ed Sheering with the song and buckle up.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
Is the thing under tree?
Speaker 1 (29:00):
Won't you come back to Me?
Speaker 5 (29:04):
And made.
Speaker 6 (29:17):
Just letting you.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
If you've gone through a breakup that might have hit.
I mean, that's rough at the moment.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
The video is ten times worse, so I don't recommend
watching it unless you loved the song. I mean, I
just I can relate to where you've been if you've
been in that position. But also, I'll tell you right now,
it does get a whole heck of a lot better.
You can count on me for that one, Okay, Ed
Sheeran said, Richard Curtis made my favorite Christmas film and
TV special. And when he came around my house in
(29:46):
twenty twenty one and showed me a rough of his
new one, which is the one I just mentioned coming
out on Netflix next month, then he asked me to
make a song for it.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
I said, how could I resist? So there you go,
all right? That is three things you need to know
with
