Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because you're waking up with in the morning, kiss one one.
There's an entire movie about this, isn't it.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
There's a whole Christmas movie about an office Christmas party.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
Have you seen this one? Good morning, Sarah, Good morning? Yes,
I love that movie. Sarah.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
You'll recognize her voice just because she's mostly a friend
of the show here, but she also is a part
of her own morning show with Kid Chris on w EBN.
And we were talking about our own office holiday party
tomorrow night.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Yes, and I thin it could get a little crazy,
you know, I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
If there is a party and I'm involved, it's going
to be a good time.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
I know that's for sure. I've partied with you before.
Guaranteed good time. Thank you. Also, our co workers are
a lot of fun, are they older gentlemen?
Speaker 1 (00:44):
Are they fun? There's a few, there's a few. There's
a few closeted fun guys at wl DOM. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
We work with Mike McConnell, very fun. Willy Cunningham there,
very fun.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
Confirmed coming or not. He has to be here, he'll
he'll have to be there. I will definite.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
I'm the friend that will pressure you to come to
the office holiday party.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Well, and I'm thinking about ally, yeah, I'm thinking about
Willy's schedule. When he's off air, it falls right into
when the party starts, so he has to be there
no matter.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
What, you're going to walk out and come to the party.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
So for those that want a little insight, a little
behind the scenes bts here at I heard Cincy our offices.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
I like our offices. I think they're they're beautiful.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
They're they're renovated from probably twenty twenty one or twenty
twenty two. And then there are like there's a section
of studios where WLW is WebM.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
They're kind of all on one side.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Some of our Kiss one oh seven studios, like the
one that I'm in now is on a different side.
So I have a feeling we're all going to hang
out by like the front lobby, yep, where all the
food will.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Be, the DJ, the DJ tender.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
It's all out in the front lobby there, and then
people just like will socialize. The reason why they make
it early though, they make it at three o'clock. I
guarantee they make it at three so that Willy will come.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
You know what. And that's why ten out of ten
guaranteed good time with Willie. Yeah, they don't want them
to miss it. Also, we work with a lot of
older gentlemen that go to bed early, so plus.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Us go to bed, we w is like turning to
dust and they want us to be lively for this thing,
so it does of the old men. There are certain
people in our office though that I'm like, are you
coming to the holiday party?
Speaker 1 (02:30):
And they're like, no, forget that.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
I'm like, nothing annoys me more than when people don't
buy into the joy, Like if your company is going
to do something like buy in, have fun.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
We're all in this together.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
It's usually free food and booze too, so you can't
go wrong with that. Plus you get to see people
outside of their normal element with a little bit of alcohol.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
What is let's talk about tips?
Speaker 2 (02:52):
What is what would be your one tip for like
do's or don'ts at the office holiday party?
Speaker 3 (02:58):
Well, speaking of alcohol, be careful with how much you drink.
You don't want to end up in your boss's lap.
And a tip of something to do. Talk to somebody
that you normally don't see very often, Like I don't
see our guys Eddie and Rocky, they're on in the
afternoon at LW kind of want to hang out with them.
(03:20):
And you are the salespeople that are in and out
a lot. Did we work with a lot of fun
salespeople looking forward to catching up with them, just you know,
branch out a little bit.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
What about you, Seff, did you sit in your boss's lap?
You know what? That's a sort of another day.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
I've had my fair share of my Heart Radio office
holiday parties in the ten fifteen years that I've worked here,
And I would say at my younger days at the
Boston office where I got my start in radio, when
I was the receptionist.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Only, yeah, I went real hard with the alcohol.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
And I remember there was a girl that started the
day our Christmas party came right and she like her
first out with us was the holiday party. Oh no,
And she got like, had way too much alcohol and
had to take an uber home, and you know, that
reputation never left her.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
But I always was like, that's my girl. You know,
I love you for that. Yeah, Like, if I'm going
to party with someone, it that girl right there. I
will be the first on the dance floor tomorrow night.
I will make a dance floor. I'll make sure there's
an after party, but I like the tips that you have.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
You know what, though, I feel like there are some
other office holiday parties floating here in Sincy, So why
don't we do this five one three seven, four nine
one oh seven one. If you've had an office holiday
party mishap or something hilarious happen, let's just see what
we get this morning.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yeah, it could be anything, or your boss's lap or
your boss's lap,
