Speaker 1 (00:01):
Glynn. You need to know she's got you. It's three
things with Ti. Hi, Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
We're just before seven o'clock, and we'll absolutely get to
the cold temperatures.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
That's the biggest thing here in Cincinnati.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
But I was toying with where to start, and I
think we've got to go with Brian Thompson. By Now
that name might sound familiar because you couldn't open your
phone yesterday without scrolling past the CEO of United Healthcare
getting murdered on the streets of New York. Now we've
learned some things, but not a whole lot of things.

(00:36):
Here are some of the things that we learned. Obviously,
the CEO of United Healthcare, right there for an investor's conference,
looked as if he was alone. The gunman knew seemed
to have know some things here, which has led police
officials to say that this was very much a planned attack.

(00:57):
The suspect fled first on foot on an e bike
and was last seen in Central Park on Center Drive
early this morning. Okay, so let me just kind of
paint a picture for you. This person is It has
a backpack, has loose fitting baggy clothes on, but most
certainly knows what he's doing behind a weapon. You could

(01:18):
see at one point in the video, and I'm so
surprised that myself were watching, because I typically don't. I
can't watch videos like that. But he puts some sort
of silencer on it. The gun jams very calm, very cool.
Was it collected rather was able to adjust and fix
and shot Brian Thompson in the chest, in the back

(01:38):
several times. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
But that man was waiting there for solid five minutes,
Like I said, premeditated.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
He knew.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Now I'm hearing that there were messages written on the
shell casings. Some were surprised that there were shellcasings at all,
but the messages were let me pull.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
It up here, where did it go? Hello? Did I
defend and depose?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
This is kind of reminding me of what's that movie
with Denzel Washington? Is it? Is it something Quincy or q?
You remember his son was in the hospital and he
just wasn't getting the care that he needed and he
just went like insane. I don't know, there's some parallels
to that movie. That's what I thought of. Early this morning,
his wife had said that there he had been receiving

(02:27):
some death threats. I think about him and his family,
you know, with the fact that we're heading into Christmas
and now those two sons don't have a dad. I
also empathize with the American people just struggling to figure
out and afford healthcare in general.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Like, it's just not a good situation. By the way,
this was announced yesterday too.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Let me pull up the info here that Anthem Insurance
is capping anesthesia time for procedures and three different states.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
This starts February first.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
It won't apply to those who are under the age
of twenty two or anyone that's in need of maternity care.
But if you hit the cap of what their allotted
time is for anesthesia, they're no longer required to pay
for it. Just it's tough to live right now, I
can imagine, jeez. By the way, all of this happened

(03:22):
just hours before the Christmas tree lighting. Like you heard
the police officials there saying that he was very calm,
got a walked away, hopped on a bike, last seen
at Central Park.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Still very much at large.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
There's a ten thousand dollars reward for any information, all right.
We were on that for a little while, So let's
go over to Cincinnati. Cincinnati public schools canceled for today
due to extreme cold. Schools will be closed Thursday, December fifth.
That for all students, staff should still report to work
at their normal time, though okay, a few other charter

(03:55):
schools are closed. Temperatures are really only going to be
in the twenties today, wind shields filling closer to zero.
But I was looking ahead and it seems as if
our temps are going to bump up again later next
week into the upper fifties.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
We'll see how that goes. Hello, this is Cincinnati.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
And then lastly, in three things you need to know, everyone's.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Got their Spotify wrapped out. Listen.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
I don't use Spotify, so I never am a part
of this trend.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
But I will.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Say that Spotify's top artists of twenty twenty four were released,
and it's very different per who's releasing them.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Right.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
We talked a little bit about Billboard yesterday and Rolling
Stone the day before. Spotify's most streamed artists of twenty
twenty four was Taylor Swift twenty six point six billion
streams woo the weekend, coming in after her bad Bunny
Drake and Billie Eilish in that order. On top of that,

(04:54):
what was I gonna say, Oh my god, I'm blanking sorry,
it's the neurodivergent in me. Oh that was for global,
not necessarily just the US. And Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso was
the most streamed song.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
All right, that is.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Three things you need to know for the fifth of December.
We had our office holiday party last night. And there's
one thing that I did. Although I was well behaved,
I kept doing this one thing over and over and
over and over again. And now I have secondhand embarrassment.
And now that you have your office holiday party maybe
around the corner, or maybe you've already had yours, we're
going to talk and revisit the top office holiday tips

(05:28):
to avoid doing whatever it is that I did last night.
Search Kiss one O seven one on iHeartRadio to be
a part of our show's content, conversation, music and more.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
And by the way, stay warm.
