Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip on.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Well did morning, good morning. We're just before eight o'clock
on Wednesday. I'm going to need a reminder myself that
it is Wednesday and not in fact Monday, the seven
hundred day of Christmas vacation. Getting back into the swing
of things, I'll touch based on what snow is coming
here on Friday in a hot second. But look, let's
first start off with the new potential new arena down

(00:32):
at the banks.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Nearly two months after the Cincinni Regional Chambers study found
the new arena was needed for major concerts, sporting events,
and conventions, one side presents their arguments to build the
new arena where Herojag's Bank Center is now. The bank's
business community will hold a Wednesday morning press conference to
urge leaders to reconsider their two preferred locations West Downtown

(00:54):
close to the Duke Energy Convention Center or the Town
Center garage site Safa Tiql Stadium.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
That's my guy, that's my guy, Lee Mallwen from seven
hundred WLW. I'm gonna play him whenever I can on
my show. So essentially, you know, the city was like, hey,
we should move the Heritage Bank arena to the West
End or somewhere else.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
And the bank's community is like.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
And there's gonna be not a hearing but a meeting
at the Grail today this morning.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Actually in about an hour or a couple you know.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
I think at the eight o'clock hour, eight thirty, we're
already cruising through the show this morning.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
So when there's more on that one, I'll have it
for you.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I do think that it would be odd, it would
be bizarre to see Heritage not at the banks. I
feel like it's just then there's been a part of
the banks, but they are building up the west End
quite a bit, so we'll see, all right. Second, and
three things you need to know this morning.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
The weather. Ah, the weather so.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Not on my Bingo car this morning to wake up
with some flurries. I wonder if it's the same for
you as well. That's making things a little slippery and icy.
Chuck is going to check the ride here in a
few minutes, but be very aware of that. I'm surprised,
honestly about the cleanup here in Sincy.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
It was huge and everyone is really doing their best,
but there are still some spots like the one in
my neighborhood in downtown. It's right before you merge onto
the major seventy one artery.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
There is still completely a mess.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
And we're supposedly getting some snow on Friday into Saturday.
The totals are fluctuating anywhere between one and four inches,
depending on where you are.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
I'll say this right now.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I believe in my heart it is your responsibility to
shovel out your own car and put that snow on
the sidewalk so that we can get back to parking
regularly in the downtown neighborhoods.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
In areas, that's the way it goes.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
If you leave your car there and you park it
on the street, you're responsible to take the snow off
and put it onto the sidewalker into the woods.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
I'm the only one in my neighborhood with a clean spot.
I don't get that all right.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
And then, lastly, in three things you Need to Know
this morning, I saw this story about post Malone, and
I was like, I'm not surprised. Renee Brown is a
waitress at a bar called The rail Yard in Houston,
and on Christmas Eve, when post malone was in the area,
he tipped her twenty thousand dollars.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
So sweet. Right, and if you're.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Like, well, why was post Malone in Houston on Christmas Eve?
Do you guys remember? Of course he did the Beyonce
halftime show. I loved it down.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Super well, maybe you know how I'm on my book.
I'll let you gode everybody the.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Spring sous the perfect time, he tease me.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
M jeez there, you don't need the sign of evnything.
Don't play bebe you pil Devin ever read Espec's so good.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
I rewatched that halftime show one or two times. I
loved it, loved it. Netflix is set to make that
a special that you can watch, very similar to her.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Homecoming with why Can't I Think of It? Homecoming e Coachella?

Speaker 2 (03:52):
All right, that is three things you need to know
for January eighth. Best way to keep listening and participating
with Tip in the morning is by searching kiss one
O seven one on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Coming up at eight twenty.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
