Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, kiss on.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Us and one, hey, good morning, good morning, checking in
on you to look like outside it's gray, et cetera.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
US know's coming.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
We're gonna take a break from that conversation, take a
break from the fires, just sit and chat. What are
your thoughts on tattoos specifically? In this case, there's a
story that's come up, and you know my rule, three
or more times, whether you send it to me, I
find it. It's talked about in the office, in the
group check text comes up three or more times.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
We get into it.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
And that is this nine year old girl that got
a tattoo in Arizona.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
So I guess quick backstory.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
She initially wanted to go to this tattoo shop and
get a portrait of Donald Trump. The tattoo artist was like, yeah,
maybe let's go with an American flag, and I guess
parents okayed it. They okayed it, gave her a permanent
tattoo of an American flag and it's probably the size
(00:59):
of maybe two or three quarters together. I didn't really
know what else to give you an example. Speaking of course,
I don't never mind. My boss yelled at me from
going on. Sometimes I go off on a tangent and
he's like, don't do that, stay focused. Okay, So I
would you know me, I like to kind of see
all angles of things, you know, I do remember that
(01:21):
for the time I got my one and only tattoo.
I turned to eighteen years old. The Red Sox had
just won the World Series. So I have a Boston
for three leaf clover and Boston symbol on my foot,
and they said, hey, this is permanent.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
When you get this, it's permanent.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
When I came home with it, they were like, cool,
if you like it, you know, to each his own.
You're eighteen years old, right looking back at that tattoo
right now, I like it because it symbolizes.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
You know, a piece of me. But would I get
another one again? Probably not. And I would say if
I'm speaking for parents.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
That would probs, that would probably be the like the
main point. Maybe, Hey, if you get this, it's permanent,
We're not going back. Of course, there are removal services,
et cetera. What are the other angles that I'm missing
as a parent, because you know, I'm not one. So
I'm just kind of like I'm trying to.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
See all sides of it.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Here, tattoo artists had to disable comments because of course
there were so many people that had all you know,
had all these things to say. And that's where you're
gonna come in this morning because I don't I can't
see the comments anymore. So I'm curious to see what
your standpoint is on this five one three, seven, four
nine one oh seven one. Would you let your nine
(02:32):
year old get a tattoo?
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yeah, good morning.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one O seven one. If you're walking into this conversation
right now, we're just taking a little break from the
weather and the California wildfires and just sitting down.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
And hanging out.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
In fact, I might be the first voice you're hearing today,
And if that's the case, I hope it's a good one.
You're waking up with tif in the morning. If I
forgot to mention that sometimes I forget. There's a story
that's come across my feet a few times now about
a nine year old old girl who got a tattoo,
and we're ian I'm assessing the situation here on the show,
(03:07):
getting your thoughts and angles.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Good morning. We'll start with you. You're on the air.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
So I grew up in a family of tattoo artists.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
My dad and my brother are both tattoo artists, and
they still told me sixteen is when I get my
first tattoo.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Or my dad did well and said.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
Until I was eighteen he still had veto power, so
I didn't get anything stupid, And for my sixteenth birthday
he did my very first tattoo.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
That all being said, I would.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
Absolutely not let my nine year old child get a tattoo.
That is absolutely insane.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Well, I'm really glad that you called Tiff in the
morning today because it's good to talk to a family
that sees tattoos all the time, all the angles, all
the good stuff, all the bad stuff. Right, you've got
you've got a different inside view and track than the
rest of us outsiders looking in.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
So you're still going with a no.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Absolutely not. If I got my first tattoo and I
was nine and probably.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Would have gotten like the Barbie logo or like a
one direction tattoo or something stick, absolutely not.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Remind me of your name, what neighborhood you calling me from.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
My name's Jayla and I'm in Florence, Kentucky.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Thanks for calling Jayla. Appreciate you guys. We got time
for another one.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
Good morning, it's your favorite TikTok Meg and her daughter show.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Hi, good morning ladies. What's going on.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Nothing, she's out of school. I'm driving to work.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Well, thank you for having me on. What are your
thoughts about the nine year old tattoo?
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Absolutely not to know.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
For you, she's taking her head like I wouldn't even.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Have Okay, if nine years old? What state was this
in Arizona? I figured that, I really I don't.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
I try to see a lot, you know, all the
angles of the story, but I figured you and I
would be on the same page with that.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
I'm curious though about other people at.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Nine years old now, and I think, no, that's way
too young. Considering everything else everyone fights about between okay
x YV that now okay now, tattoos.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Are absolutely not well, thank you, Meghan.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
What is the one thing that you do fight about
with your kid quite a bit since we're talking about it.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Sure course, yeah, stay on top of them.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
I wonder if anyone else in Cincy is the same
thing as you, or maybe a different thing that they
fight with their kids on. I'm curious five win three
seven four nine one oh seven one. Meghan, my stepmom
put the fear of God in me if I didn't
do my chores.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Fear of God.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Love me too.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
This time rested. Good morning.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
What do you fight with your kids about?
Speaker 2 (05:52):
I didn't bring this up, but actually kind of stemmed
from a conversation I had with one of our regular callers, Meghan.
She said that she fights with her kid on doing chores, etc.
Maybe it'll be shoveling this weekend. I'm checking some of
your talkbacks here this morning.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Yeah, I'm terrible.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
My son, who is thirteen, by the way, calculates the
tip every time we go out to eat. It's so embarrassing.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
Hey, Gal, I liketu. I you know what. I like
that angle. Thank you for the talkback with Tiff.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
When you search Kiss on the iHeartRadio app, the microphone
is next to the play button.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
You hold that down and you can leave me a voice.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
No.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
I like how you took it.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
In that direction and saying instead of saying what you
fight at, what they're better at than you?
Speaker 1 (06:31):
That was a good one. I like that take.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
Thank you for it all right, commercial free for a
hair longer. About a song, two songs from now, two
songs We're going to dive into the three things you
need to know to get your day started.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
In Cincy.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
What is the latest on that Heritage Bank update and
the construction not construction, wanting to move it?
Speaker 1 (06:50):
Did you hear about this?
Speaker 2 (06:51):
What are we doing? What are our thoughts? What are
we thinking? Are we gonna move it? Are we gonna
keep it? I'll have more on that next
