Speaker 1 (00:01):
Because you're waking up with well, good morning, good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
You know, I feel like a very select few will
understand this at this hour in the morning, specifically on
the way to school and work, et cetera. But everyone,
at some point or another does experience this. And that
is how do I manage leaving my house every day
when it is nine degrees outside?
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Seems simple? And they recommend it all the time.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
And I got to tell you, tried, tested and true
all week long that if you have the courage, the bandwidth,
the mental capacity to get out of your bed, put
on a jacket, put on snow boots, put on pants,
and walk outside to your street spot and turn your
(00:50):
car on early, it really does make a difference.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
And you know that is something that I've heard for
years and years and years.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Did I ever save the time in my morning clock
to do it?
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:00):
You kidding me?
Speaker 2 (01:01):
For the first five minutes leaving my neighborhood, I had
this tiny little hole that I could see out of
the windshield through the ice in the cold. But this
week I said, Tiff, you're an adult, get up, go outside,
start your car early now if you have a driveway
or even a whoo, if you have a garage.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Whoo, you must be living life us Street Parkers Man.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
The last three or four days in a row, I've
gone out early, started my car, gone back in and
started my morning routine. And it really does work. And
I always say praise to you if you've done it. Man,
it is it is brutal out there. I'll have more
details on what time the snow is arriving for us,
and of course the California wildfires and a few others
and three things you need to know to get your
(01:46):
day started.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
And since he coming up at six point fifty, good morning, Hi,
good morning.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
That was Miles Smith stargazing if you wanted to look
that up later. Kiss one us have once commercial free
good morning. You're waking up with Tiff in the morning.
There's always something going on in my story that kind
of relates back to the show here. If you're a
big iced coffee drinker, regardless of the temperature, I'm iced
over everything, baby. Check out this latest video at the
TIF to f's Potter like the Wizard. And while you're there,
(02:12):
there's also something you can vote on. Out of all
the things happening with the California wildfires, I keep seeing
this one story about a news anchor and it's driving
me nuts.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
My opinion's posted, but I'm.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Very curious to see what your take is on it
as well, So get your votes in right now. Like
I said at the TIF to F's Potter like the Wizard,
all right, coming up two songs from now. Cincinnati fell
on this list, putting us in the top ten.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time kiss
let us even one crazy?
Speaker 1 (02:43):
I feel crazy.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
If you ever wonder what I do while the music
is playing. Outside of prepping for the next thing we're
going to talk about and a lot of the behind
the scenes that happen. Sometimes I just sit here and
vibe and sing the songs at full volume. WLW hates
to see me come in some morning.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
All right.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Cincinnati finally fell on a list that I agree with.
I wasn't gonna do this until our nine o'clock hour,
but you know me, I'm a sucker for a good list.
I love a list. And we fell on the top
ten of the best cities to live in if you
want to lead a more active lifestyle.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
And I said, oh, this is perfect.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
We got to talk about this because fitness ends up,
usually falling on the New Year's resan every January, right,
and we landed in the top ten for the greatest
city to live in for being active. And if your
ears are perking up, you're like, Okay, tell me more,
tell me more. This was based on a few different
(03:44):
things walkability, but to identify them, this is wallet hub,
by the way, compared to one hundred of the biggest
cities in the country, and there were thirty five different indicators.
A few beingana average monthly fitness club fees, how much
you paying for your gym or your class memberships. Hiking trails, yeah,
(04:06):
things of that nature. We don't have many hiking trails
unless you're gonna hit Waston Way, which I highly recommend.
I doubt it's plowed at the moment, but Wasson Way
is a go to of mine. Very flat, very easy.
If you haven't experienced yet yet. I park in the
Rookwood parking lot next to the Whole Foods. There's a
set a set of stairs lead you right up to
Wasson highly recommend, highly you can get a good six
(04:27):
miles out of that.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
What else? What else was I going to say about this?
Speaker 3 (04:31):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yeah, as someone that has you know, paid for different
classes in different cities in the country. I feel like,
since he's really manageable when it comes to their fitness
membership fees, et cetera.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
All right, so who else is on this list? Honolulu
came in at.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Number one, New York two, San Francisco number three, Vegas
number four, Chicago number five. Unfortunately, I'm sure this list
was done before the California wildfires. La came in at
number six, Denver, number seven, San Diego, Philadelphia, and then
clocking in at number ten Cincinnati, Ohio as one of
(05:09):
the best cities to live in if you want to
lead an active lifestyle. Coming in as the worst city,
by the way, was Fresno, Wichita, Kansas, Corpus Christy.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Sorry, guys, Irving or Irvine Rather, Texas and North Las
Vegas are all on those lists like the worst places
to live in. Let's talk about fitness real quick. Sarah Elise,
you guys know her because she's in our show's inner circle.
She has her own show with Kid Chris on w EBN.
She came in here first week of January, full blown panicking, panicking.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
She's like, I gotta get the I gotta get the
food right. I gotta get this right.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
I gotta get I mean, I gotta get back on
my grind.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
And I get it. And I said, I looked at her.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
I said, relax, just relax, shift your expectations a little bit.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
We're gonna get there.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Do I want to be snatched by my thirty fifth
birthday on January twenty second?
Speaker 1 (05:56):
You better believe it. But we're just gonna we'll get there.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
I don't when you listen to the show, I do
not want you to feel overwhelmed or stressed out.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
You always know you got a friend in me. We're
gonna figure it out.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Okay, have some water, check your horoscope, Get an iced coffee.
If you're like me, regardless of temperature, I will drink
iced coffee commercial free in the meantime, coming.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Up at this seven four, This might be ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
Two songs from now, How long should you hold on
to your underwear?
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Here come Sarah nown coming into panic.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time kiss
one O seven to one.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
I'm crying.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
How long should you hold on to a single pair
of underwear?
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Shout out to that.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
G string From two thousand and four the girlies are
crying right now.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Cut that thing up and throw it out. If you
still have underwear from college, you need to get rid
of it.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
If you're wondering why we're even talking about this, I
highly recommend catching up on the Tiff in the Morning
podcast at your leisure because I often reference things from
the day before or the week before. We're doubling back
on a conversation that we had yesterday. We had talked
about what are the random things that you keep in
your bag? I found this thing and I said, what
people are keeping spare underwear in their bags?
Speaker 1 (07:09):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
In the summer, I keep a spare bathing suit with
me at all times. But it's because I'm Anna quaries.
Uh So I was giggling about that. That same study
then went on to talk about how long you should
hang on to a single pair of underwear you with me, Now, okay, great, the.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Average person.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Holds onto them on average for three years. After three years,
depending on how many underwear you have. And girls know
that when you go on a vacation, you probably will
pack the entire drawer for a five day vacation. You
should hang on to underwear for three years maximum maximum
(07:52):
three years. But if the survey is like, if we're
being honest, a lot of the women that we talked
to hang onto theirs for six years or more. If
you are listening right now and you're like, shoot, I
still have them from eight or twenty twelve or even
twenty sixteen or seventeen, I'm not.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
I'm not saying I'm perfect.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
I definitely definitely still have a few oldies. Talk back
with Tiff. I'd love to hear from you. Search Kiss
on the iHeartRadio app. You'll see the microphone next to
the play button. Just hold that down.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
When it comes to bras, I'm speaking direct to the girl. Lease,
on average, you should only have your bra for four years.
But this says quote eight percent of women confess that
they have some that are well past their prime and
at least ten years old. I was just talking about
(08:50):
this actually on Twitter or X. I should say how
long should you hold on? Where should where should one
get a bra? These days? Where are you getting them?
Are we still going to victory secret? I'm figuring it
out myself. Nonetheless, I'm curious on how long you hold
onto your boxers or your briefs how do you wear underwear?
Speaker 1 (09:09):
There's a big.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Community that doesn't even wear them. Talk back with Tiff
on iHeart Radio. I already mentioned it. It's another alternative
way to get involved. But I also would love to
hear your voice as well. Five one three seven nine
one seven one. If you dare to let it out
on the radio, tell me, I guess what's the oldest
pair of underwear in your drawer? Hi, good morning, you're
(09:31):
waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss one
oh seven one. I'm in the midst of checking your talkbacks,
and you can talk back with Tiff when you listen
to Kiss on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
The microphone's next to the play button.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
Bras, Absolutely bras. I would say, just like I was
more dancing most of my life, and I had the
dreadit jun a boob forever, and so if I don't
wear a bra, it doesn't even look like I have boobs.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
Like it's ridiculous.
Speaker 5 (09:56):
Well, hate it, but I gotta do it.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Well, thank you for sharing, and thank you for the
talk back with Tiff. Ah if you're just walking into this,
we had just talked about how long you should hold
on to a single pair of underwear, and I know,
I know you still have a few from maybe the
early two thousands that need to go in the trash.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
I laugh to keep from crying. Ah.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
The maximum that you should hang on to a pair
of underwears three years on average, people hang on to
them for six, and women admit to hanging on to
bras well past their prime into like the ten year mark.
At this point, everyone's just trying their best, trying their best,
coming up a song or so from now, actually, yeah,
(10:41):
one song from now. If you can give me three minutes, actually,
let's do this. Give me threeish minutes. I'll give you
the three things you need to know to get your
day started in Sincy. If you're a big fan of TikTok,
what's happening next week?
Speaker 1 (10:52):
I'll have that next That's when you need to know
she's got you. It's three things with tip on just
when I was seven, one good morning.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
We're just before eight o'clock on a Friday, although it
doesn't necessarily feel like a friday. We're gonna get to
our own weather here in just a hot second.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
But first, let's start off with.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
What is the biggest story, and that is, of course
the California wildfires. This is now the fourth day in
a row that I'm reporting on it, and if you
are a numbers person, listen to some of this.
Speaker 6 (11:26):
Current acreage is nineteen thousand, nine hundred and seventy eight.
There are currently five three hundred and sixteen structures that
were damaged or destroyed, and unfortunately, our thoughts and prayers
go out to the families. We do have a confirmed
two fatalities that are now due to this incident.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Tragedy doesn't even begin to explain it. In fact, I've
seen that the death toll has increased to ten. I
was chit chatting with Brian Combs. You might recognize his
voice from seven hundred WOLW. He does the news over there.
He said, fifty seven billion dollars in damages. You know
when you watch a superhero movie and they just completely
(12:09):
destroy the city while saving it at the same time,
and you're like, Okay, well we're saved, but you know,
we'll rebuild. It's a movie that's happening, but not not
like in real life. In real life, it is going
to take decades to bring it California back to what
it was before.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
And I don't even know if it will ever go back.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Yesterday we had, and by the way they had, the
fires have spread now to the hills of Calabasas, which
you know is where Will Smith lives and the Kardashians
infamously ray. And again I talk about celebrities, et cetera.
But that's just because I know their names. There are
plenty of regular people like you and I not that
celebrities aren't regular in California that are struggling deeply right now,
(12:52):
saying goodbye to everything that they knew. Yesterday, I had
said that there were reports of somebody potentially starting these fires.
There was no validity to that at the moment, but
as of this morning, there is someone in custody who
had allegedly started at one of the fires. I don't
know why someone would do that, But Los Angeles has
(13:13):
different people that we have here in Cincy. I remember
I actually I went to the Pacific Palisades to a
year and a half ago, April of twenty twenty three,
and I remember coming back and telling you this story.
Actually that was the same time that Lindsay Lohan was
spotted roaming the streets like barefoot. LA has different people
than we have here perspective wise, you know, think about
(13:37):
how much of a creature of habit you and I are.
We were itching to get back to the regular routine
once the snow days wrapped up. Okay, well, imagine being
in LA and just having no access to your regular routine.
Schools are close, colleges have postponed classes until February. Right.
Those things that we do every day, like going to
the gym and dropping our kids off at school, the
things that make us feel like us are gone. And
(14:02):
when I thought about that, I said, Wow, still plenty
of devastation to come.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
I'm sure.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
I'm praying for my friends and family, your friends and family.
My girlfriend Hannah that I went to college with, she
evacuated Santa Monica yesterday and went up to to Joshua
Tree and I said, well, what did you take with you?
And she said, Tiff, like, I don't know. The things
that I thought were important in the moment. Her boyfriend
not that material things are you know, of value in
this moment, But sometimes they're like, you know, if you
(14:30):
if you've got a good sneaker collection, I can see
how that would be valuable to you. Her boyfriend has
it works for Nike has hundreds and hundreds of shoes,
and I know those are material things, but sometimes they're
just important to you. Everyone says to save like passports
and pictures, et cetera. When there's more, you know, I'll
keep you posted. All right, I'm rambling here, but let's
(14:51):
go on to our own weather. In Cincinnati. We've got
snow moving in, so temperature is pretty bitter at the
moment you came out of the house today, Probably in
the twe we'll see highs in the upper twenties. Snow
is going to move in somewhere between lunch and like
four or five o'clock.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
The commute hall might be a little dicey. This is a.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Slow burner, a slow mover, but I would say the
bulk of the snow is going to move in four
ish to like nine pmsh. And you might see a
little bit of a mess tomorrow morning, and we could
accumulate anywhere from two to four inches.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
All right.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Even lastly, in three things you need to know this morning,
if you're a fan of TikTok, who isn't right? Who
isn't at least brain dumping onto TikTok and scrolling I
had mentioned last year that this thing was going to
get banned if it wasn't sold from Chinese company Byte
Dance to someone in the US.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
The government was like, listen, we.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Got to get this hand out of the hands of
the Chinese. Well, the Supreme Court is going to be
hearing on it today. As lower courts have rejected Bite
Dance's arguments that the band violated at First Amendment rights,
They're like, no, the government made a pretty good, pretty
good meeting of you know of you stealing our information,
(16:00):
and we're not gonna go with the First Amendment thing.
But the Supreme Court will hear it today. It will
be banned on January nineteenth, like a week from now,
if they don't figure this out. I'm I don't know
how this is gonna go though. I can't imagine it
would just like disappear from your phone. I don't know
how that would work when there's more on that one, though,
you know, I'll keep you posted. Yes, I also saw
(16:21):
that the guy from Shark Tank might buy it. We'll see.
Can you trust to shark can you You're not in
the ocean, but maybe in business. That is Three things
you need to know for January tenth coming up at
eight oh five. We are commercial free and the best
way to keep listening to TIF in the mornings on
iHeartRadio when you search kiss one oh seven one, stay warm.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
You're waking up fifth in the morning, Kiss one.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Oh seven to one.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
Hey, good morning, good morning, checking in on you. So
it looks like outside it's gray, et cetera.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
US know's coming.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
We're gonna take a break from that conversation, take a
break from the fires, just sit and chat. What are
your thoughts on tattoos specifically? In this case, there's a
story that's come up, and you know my rule, three
or more times, whether you send it to me, I
find it. It's talked about in the office in the
group check text comes up three or more times.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
We get into it.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
And that is this nine year old girl that got
a tattoo in Arizona.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
So I guess quick backstory.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
She initially wanted to go to this tattoo shop and
get a portrait of Donald Trump. The tattoo artist was like, yeah,
maybe let's go with an American flag, and I guess
parents okayed it. They okayed it, gave her a permanent
tattoo of an American flag and it's probably the size
(17:42):
of maybe two or three quarters together. I didn't really
know what else to give you an example. Speaking of course,
I don't never mind. My boss yelled at me from
going on. Sometimes they go off on a tangent and
he's like, don't do that, stay focused. Okay, So I
would you know me, I like to kind of see
all of things, you know, I do remember that for
(18:04):
the time I got my one and only tattoo. I
turned to eighteen years old. The Red Sox had just
won the World Series. So I have a Boston for
three leaf clover and Boston symbol on my foot, and
they said, hey, this is permanent. When you get this,
it's permanent. When I came home with it, they were like, cool,
if you like it, you know, to each his own.
You're eighteen years old, right looking back at that tattoo
(18:27):
right now, I like it because it symbolizes, you know,
a piece of me.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
But would I get another one again? Probably not.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
And I would say if I'm speaking for parents, that
would probus that would probably be the like the main point. Maybe, Hey,
if you get this, it's permanent, We're not going back.
Of course, there are removal services et cetera. What are
the other angles that I'm missing as a parent, because
you know, I'm not one, So I'm just kind of
like I'm trying to see all sides of it here.
Tattoo artists had to disable comments because of course, there
(18:58):
were so many people that had all, you know, had
all these things to say, and that's where you're gonna
come in this morning because I don't I can't see
the comments anymore. So I'm curious to see what your
standpoint is on this five one three, seven, four nine,
one oh seven one. Would you let your nine year
old get a tattoo?
Speaker 1 (19:18):
Yeah, good morning.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one O seven one. If you're walking into this conversation
right now, we're just taking a little break from the
weather and the California wildfires and just sitting down.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
And hanging out.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
In fact, I might be the first voice you're hearing today,
And if that's the case, I hope it's a good one.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
You're waking up with tif in the morning.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
If I forgot to mention that sometimes I forget there's
a story that's come across my feet a few times
now about a nine year old girl who got a tattoo,
and we're you know' assessing the situation here on the show,
getting your thoughts and angles. Good morning, we'll start with you. You're
on the air.
Speaker 7 (19:54):
So I grew up in a family of tattoo artists.
My dad and my brother are both tattoo artists, and
they felt He told me sixteen is when I get
my first tattoo. Or my dad said well and said
until I was eighteen. He still had veto power, so
I didn't get anything stupid, And for my sixteenth birthday
he did my very first tattoo.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
That all being said, I would.
Speaker 7 (20:16):
Absolutely not let my nine year old child get a tattoo.
That is absolutely insane.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Well, I'm really glad that you called Tiff in the
morning today because it's good to talk to a family
that sees tattoos all the time, all the angles, all
the good stuff, all the bad stuff.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
Right, you've got you've.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
Got a different inside viewing track than the rest of
us outsiders looking in.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
So you're still going with a no.
Speaker 7 (20:40):
Absolutely not. If I got my first tattoo and I
was nine, I probably would have gotten like the Barbie
logo or like a one direction tattoo or something stipid?
Speaker 1 (20:48):
Absolutely not or remind me of your name. What neighborhood
you calling me from.
Speaker 7 (20:53):
My name's Jayla and I'm in Florence, Kentucky.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
Thanks for calling Jayla. Appreciate you, guys. We got time
for another one. Good morning, it's.
Speaker 7 (21:00):
Your favorite TikTok Megan her.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
Daughter shar Hi. Good morning, ladies. What's going on?
Speaker 7 (21:04):
Nothing, she's out of school, I'm driving to work.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Well, thank you for having me on. What are your
thoughts about the nine year old tattoo?
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Absolutely not to know for.
Speaker 7 (21:12):
You, she's taking her head like I wouldn't even have.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
Okay, nine years old? What state was this in Arizona?
Speaker 2 (21:22):
I figured that, I really I don't. I try to
see a lot, you know, all the angles of the story.
But I figured you and I would be on the
same page with that. I'm curious though about other people
at nine.
Speaker 7 (21:34):
Years old now, and I think, no, that's way too
you considering everything else everyone fights about between soones.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Okay, xyz that no, okay now, tattoos are absolutely not well,
thank you, Megan.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
What is the one thing that you do fight about
with your kid quite a bit? Since we're talking about.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
It, sure, Yeah, staying on top of them.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
I wonder if any else and Cincy is the same
thing as you, or maybe a different thing that they
fight with their kids on. I'm curious five when three seven, four, nine,
one oh seven one. Meghan, my stepmom put the fear
of God in me if I didn't do my chores.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Fear of God.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
You love me too, Love these rested?
Speaker 1 (22:29):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
You're waking up with tip in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven to one.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
What do you fight with your kids about?
Speaker 2 (22:35):
I didn't bring this up, but actually kind of stemmed
from a conversation I had with one of our regular callers, Meghan.
She said that she fights with her kid on doing chores,
et cetera. Maybe it'll be shoveling this weekend. I'm checking
some of your talkbacks here this morning.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Yeah, I'm terrible.
Speaker 5 (22:51):
My son, who is thirteen, by the way, calculates the
tip every time we go out to eat.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
It's so embarrassing. Hey, Gal, I actually you know what.
I like that. Thank you for the talk back with Tiff.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
When you search Kiss on the iHeartRadio app, the microphone
is next to the play button. You hold that down
and you can leave me a voice now. I like
how you took it in that direction and saying instead
of saying what you fight at, what they're better at
than you?
Speaker 1 (23:15):
That was a good one.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
I like that take thank you for it all right?
Commercial free for a hair longer? About a song. Two
songs from now, two songs. We're going to dive into
the three things you need to know to get your
day started in Cincy. What is the latest on that
Heritage Bank update and the construction not construction?
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Wanting to move it? Did you hear about this?
Speaker 2 (23:34):
What are we doing? What are our thoughts? What are
we thinking? Are we gonna move it? Are we going
to keep it? I'll have more on that next.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
When you need to know She's got you. It's three
things with TI. You know, the study just doesn't think
that that's realistic.
Speaker 8 (23:50):
Although let me be clear, no decision has been made
on a site.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
I first want to figure out how we pay for it.
I like that last part there.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
You obviously know that voice and recognizing him as mayor Aftab.
This is based off the meeting that I said was
going to happen on the Heritage Bank situation. So if
you're just walking into this earlier this week, I had
reported that there was going to be a meeting essentially
discussing whether or not we were going to move the
location if we ever did construction on Heritage.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Kind of two sides of the story.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Some believe that it should very much remain at the Banks,
and that the Banks is designed for it, et cetera.
Others are saying we should move it to the west
end near the fcsin C Stadium TQL Stadium, where we're
in the process of building that area up. Some saying
that maybe some real estate and condos are better served
on that Heritage location by the waterfront. All these things
(24:41):
back and forth. The end of the day, haven't we
been talking about rebuilding this thing.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
For like twenty years? It's that in the Brent Spence Bridge.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Hold your breath, I dare you still very much in
the discussion phase. But I like what mayor Aftab said of, Hey,
we gotta figure out how we're paying for this.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
That's like the first and foremost to me.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
It feels like we'll add it to the list right
when there's more on that one, I'll have it for you.
But you might see that trending in Cincinnati over the
next day or so all right, second, and three things
you need to know. We're going to take a break
from the California wildfires and our own weather here.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
We had talked about it extensively.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
And let's revisit a situation that I discussed I think
on Wednesday. Do you remember Twitch from the Ellen DeGeneres Show,
who tragically died by committing suicide in December of twenty
twenty two. His wife, Alison Hochler, teamed up with People
magazine to release Like a memoir that was going to
include some of his journals and give us more insight
as to what life Twitch was leading before he died.
(25:38):
His family is saying, total violation of privacy to make
a buck.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
We're not doing this.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Also found out that she made everyone sign an NDA
to go.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
To his own funeral.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
Definitely seems like the two families are butting heads.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Well, here we are this morning.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
There's a message on her Instagram that I screenshotted yesterday
and it's very long, so I'll read just a quick
clip to the fans of Stephen and our family and friends.
I want to be clear that my only intention in
writing the book is to share my own story as
well as a part of my life with Stephen to
help other people just like you. I never really knew
what happened, and even as I am trying to put
the pieces together, I will never really know. If you
(26:15):
decide to read the book, hopefully you'll see my intention
is to celebrate in the love and life I shared
with Steven and our three beautiful children, and also the
more complex aspects of both of our lives. Very curious
to see what your take on it is. Is it
personal and private and you keep it to yourself or
do you share in the hopes of helping other people.
(26:37):
Then final thing we'll get into in three Things you
Need to Know is new music Friday. So we have
some posthumous music released from mac Miller.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
This is called five Dollars Pony Rides.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
We can take a fair case and go somewhere.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
And mac Miller passed September seventh of twenty eighteen.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
And I forgot to mention that.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
How Alison Holchler book comes out on February fourth.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
All right, that is three things you need to know
for the tenth of January.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
The best way to keep listening to TIF in the
morning is by searching kiss one oh seven one on
I Heart Radio.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
You're waking up fifth in the morning, Kiss one O
seven one, Hey, good morning, good morning, good morning.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Usually at this time I do the daily debrief because
girls love debriefing.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
We love it.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
We love it more than we love the scenario. My
neighbor Tom said it to me last night. He's like,
you always want to, like talk about the night before.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
Why. I'm like, I don't know, we love it. We
were laughing about that, So I do it every day.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
On my show, we talk about the one big thing
that you might have missed, etceterrah.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
And we'll start off with your talkbacks. Here we go.
Speaker 8 (27:48):
Hey, Tiff, good morning from the cold cold beer guy.
Definitely be safe out there today. And on the whole
underwear thing, I've got underwear from well. I had underwear
from two thousand and four ninth and my fiance made
me throw them all away and start with fresh, brand
new underwear. Saw my underwear now it is all up
to date. O.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff. I love
hearing your voice.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
You'll see the microphones right next to the play button
when you search kiss on iHeartRadio. It's an alternative way
to contribute outside of our phone lines. That was one
of the funni your things we talked about in the
four hours of conversation today. How long should you hold
onto a single pair of underwear?
Speaker 1 (28:25):
And there the.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
Girliesnow that g string from two thousand and eight. You
need to cut that thing up and put it in
the trash? How long should you hold on to a bra?
Though that you can get caught up on the podcast.
Everything we do is podcasting for you to catch up
whenever you have free time. Maybe you'll be shoveling later
on tonight or tomorrow. Pop some headphones in.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Search tip Tiff in the morning on the iHeartRadio app.
Happy Friday, You're waking up with fifth.
Speaker 4 (28:50):
In the morning, Kiss one seven one.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
Good morning. I just want to say, you know, with
these buyers going on and why spread viruses, I think overall,
as a human being species, I think we kind of
have to take a step back and.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Just do better. Well, thank you.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
I appreciate that one last check in with you before
we say goodbye on this Friday. I appreciate the talkback
with Tiff. Ever since December, I've been operating under the
notion and I tell myself this, take a deep breath,
and say everyone is just doing the best that they
can with whatever is going on in their life and.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
Within what they have. Everyone's just doing their best.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
And it's helped me reframe the expectations and you know,
help me live a little bit more of a peaceful
life and just say, everyone's out here is just doing
the best, doing the best they can with what they have.
So my neighbor who has not shoveled their car out
and their street spot is a mess, I'm just saying,
you know what, they're doing the best that they can.
Speaking of snow, et cetera, as it moves in later
(29:53):
on today, I don't love the idea of potentially being
trapped in my apartment again. I've got this like antsiness.
I'm trying to just chill outf I kind of got
this antsiness with it being winter and the holidays being
done at this point, I don't know if it will
be horrible, but we'll see anywhere from you know, two
three four inches rolls in for the commute home this afternoon.
It'll be kind of a slow burner. Should wrap up
(30:13):
by nine. But if you're gonna be chilling in the house,
you have to watch Apple TV. You have to watch
Apple TV, and there are a few shows you need
to watch. One of them is Severance season one, out completely.
Season two will return on Friday, and this has been
highly anticipated for like two years.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
So watch Severance Silo.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Season one and two officially out on Apple TV.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
I recommend that one.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
And if you're looking for something funny, if you're a
giggly person like myself, Loot Loot with my Rudolph is
a great one.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
If you're gonna be chilling at the house.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
If we're not connected, you know me, you know where
to find me at the TIF two. F's Potter like
the Wizard. I hope you have a great weekend. I'll
see him Monday.
