Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because you're waking up fifth in the morning.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
I can't agree with this that half of the people
in this survey said that they are okay with leaving
their Christmas decorations up for the entire year. WHOA, that
seems a little excessive. It's the first real Monday of
January twenty twenty five, because we were really not counting
(00:24):
last Monday since that snowstorm hit.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Yeah, and then before that it was the holiday. Yeah,
you know what. Growing up, I had a friend her
mom kept a year round tree up no I know,
and she she would decorate it for each holiday. So
like if Valentine's Day would have like red streamers all over,
like little hearts popping out. Fourth of July like little
American flags. But this is the Christmas tree. Look, I'll
admit you're still still Sarah.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Sarah, you put years up on November one.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Yeah, and it'll probably step on my birthday on January
twenty eighth.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Sarah, that's dusty.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
It's not dusty, it's decorative. But looking at it over
the weekend, I'm like, this is she needs to come down.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
I did see a TikTok that said, is there a
way that I can recreate the Christmas tree lighting in
my house because that's what I really love about the
holidays is watching TV in front of the Christmas tree
with the lighting.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yeah, like the little strands of lights.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
But then you can't have strands of lights hanging around
your adult house like that is. That's a no for
me too.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Yeah. It kind of looks like your room when you
were thirteen years.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Old, right right, right. Even our office is still fully
decorated for Christmas with the wreaths everywhere in the garland.
I'm like, we gotta, we gotta manage this. It's time
to say goodbye.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah, I mean, I'm on the same calendar as iHeart.
I guess that's what I'm telling myself.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
My friend Allison and I were out at Crestview yesterday
and she's like, well, I took the Christmas tree down yesterday.
She's like, it was time. It's just a lot, and
it's like annoying, And I get it. Everyone is just
trying to do the best they have with what they can, right,
And if you're going through it and you've got the
like the New Year holiday blues, don't take take this
as a lighthearted joke. Okay, I mean I'm not really
(02:03):
coming for you, but it's funny how everyone is.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
You know.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
There are some people that put that tree on the
sidewalk the day Christmas was over.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Dude, And I get it. It's a time consuming project.
I look at it and I say, I know this
is gonna take me a minimum of two hours, and
I'm just not the mood for it, Like I'm just
too lazy at this point. But I also do like
to look at it too, So there's two sides of it.
I know, the lights. I guess I'll be a thirteen
year old staring at stranded lights
