The thing that I am learning about last week's snow
and yes that was only a week ago that we
got that snowstorm, is that, yes, the city was slow,
and there was some criticism as as far as the
cleanup process goes. But now we're going to be operating
at a smaller capacity. WCPO reported that some of our
equipment is just out of date. Kick is un usable.

What kind of makes sense though, if we don't really
ever get snow. Why would you put it in the
budget to get new snow vehicles until you really need them?
And you're like, oopsies, that's gonna be part of the
budgeting this summer, I bet. But yeah, I've not heard
about that yesterday said I'm not surprised on that one.
All right, Second, and three things you need to know
this morning. Let's touch base about LA. One hundred and
fifty thousand people are still under evacuation orders and notices.

of how the celebrity world is stepping up in some
of the cancelations on things.

Beyonce's Bay Good.

Foundation donated two point five million dollars and with that,
she made an announcement on social media yesterday canceling whatever
announcement that she was going to make this coming today.

She was going to announce thing today.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
I didn't realize it was already January fourteenth, she said,
due to a later day from the devastation caused by
the ongoing wildfires around the area of Los Angeles. I
continue to pray for the healing and the rebuilding for
the family suffering from trauma and loss. We are so
blessed to have brave first responders who will continue to
work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community. Speaking of

firefighters and first responders, et cetera. In the same vein here,
UMG has canceled all of its events for the Grammys,
stating a very similar message. But the Grammys will continue
on February second, and they'll probably make it very much
in reflection and celebration of first responders. The OSCAR nominations

are delayed. Skims is donating. Netflix announced that they are
donating ten million dollars.

Doja cat is teamed up with the.

Red Cross and is creating a special merch line where
all proceeds will go back to the LA wildfires. I
heard Media has teamed up with the Dream Fund as well.
If you're looking for somewhere to donate, and I had
mentioned this yesterday, I had learned something about donations. You
can request a nine to ninety from whatever organization that
you are donating money to and if they can provide that,

you should be good. But if they can't be aware
of scamming and such, because I know that that comes
up quite a bit.

Lastly, in three Things You Need to Know this morning,
kind of in the same vein the Weekend announced that
he is postponing his album and I'm assuming tour announcements
that were coming in the next week or two too,
He's i think delaying that either until the very end
of January or the first part of February. He was
set to be what I believe, the first artist to

release a new album in the year of.

Twenty twenty five.

With that being said, in an interview with Variety magazine,
he said, I'm going to be kind of abandoning the
name The Weekend closing this chapter, I would say my
existence as the Weekend is ending. It's a headspace I've
got to get into that. I just don't have any
more desire for You have a persona, but then you
have the competition of it all. It becomes this rat race,

more accolades, more success, more shows, more albums, more awards,
and more number ones.

It just never ends until you end it.

A part of me actually was thinking you lost your
voice because it's done. You said what you had to say.
