Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because you're waking up with fils in the morning, kiss on, Hey,
good morning, good morning. Do you feel like it's just
a very quiet time in life right now? I was
having this conversation with my friend Allison over the weekend
where she's like, you know, when you ask someone, Hey,
what did you do this weekend? How was your week?
You know, I typically connect with people over that question.

(00:22):
She's like, not much. It's been really quiet, and I
feel like it's been more so this year than really
any year in the past. But I could just be
saying that because I'm in it now. January blues are
a legitimate thing. I mean Christmas trees coming down, snow
still on the ground. For example, I went out to

(00:44):
go for a walk yesterday to try to just get
some fresh air, get some movement. Can't really go anywhere
in my neighborhood because our sidewalks are just they're they're
never gonna get shoveled, and you just can't really walk
around on them. So I was outside for maybe five
or so minutes, talk to my neighbor, and then went
back into my house and with dry January and just

(01:05):
like kind of cutting back on sugar and cutting back
on going out and cutting back on going you know,
spending money. What is there like legitimately, what is there
left to do before TikTok disappears? Oh my god, I'm like,
should I start googling like what I should do as
a hobby And you know, as a solo individual, I
tend to try to be creative. I read a lot,

(01:27):
you know, but as an adult, if you're single, at
one point or another, you're putting the TV on and
I wish that I wasn't this person.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I feel like COVID really made me lazy in that aspect.
But when I'm just sitting around looking around, I'm like, what, like,
what's next? What should I what should I be doing
right now? And to combat that, I try to just
tell myself, like, you're being spontaneous. It's okay to not
have an agenda of things to do. Granted, there are
days where you have like you know, you got you

(02:00):
have things you got to get done, but use this
space to expand yourself. I think it's just because mostly
I work well under pressure as far as like, oh
I've got a deadline, That's when I get the most done.
It's when I have all this free time, and I'm like, oh,
why don't I put on Severance. Let's watch Severance. By
the way, we talked about that yesterday. Apple TV new
season coming out on this Friday. I highly recommend. How

(02:22):
are you hopefully off to a good start? You know,
we have a long list of things to do today,
but the most important and the most immediate is the
three things you need to know to get your day started.
In Cincy, coming up at six fifty, we will talk
about which artists are doing what for the fires. Glynn,
you need to know.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
She's got you. It's three things with tip. Good morning.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
It's six fifty in the morning, and it is a cold,
bitter January day, and we're supposedly, supposedly supposedly getting some
snow at some point today. Here's Jennifer ketchmark on it.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
It's not just one of those like, oh, it's some
passing flurries.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
This will actually be like a burst of snow when
it gets here. It won't last long.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
It's not guaranteed for every spot, but the window of
opportunity when it does arrive eleven am to about four
o'clock and then it's out of here, all.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Right, So you're heard are there? You know, it just
depends on your location. But be aware. The thing that
I am learning about last week's snow and yes that
was only a week ago that we got that snowstorm,
is that, yes, the city was slow and there was
some criticism as as far as the cleanup process goes.
But now we're going to be operating at a smaller capacity.
WCPO reported that some of our equipment is just out

(03:37):
of date, can't is unusable? What kind of makes sense though?
If we don't really ever get snow, why would you
put it in the budget to get new snow vehicles
until you really need them? And you're like, oopsies, that's
going to be part of the budgeting this summer, I bet.
But yeah, I've not I heard about that yesterday said
I'm not surprised on that one. All right, Second, and
three things you need to know this morning. Let's touch

(03:57):
base about LA one hundred and fifty thous and people
are still under evacuation orders and notices and this is
almost a week into it. Every corner of the Internet
that you turn, you're going to learn new information, see
new videos, and it's mixed. Sometimes it's tragedy. Sometimes it's
neighbors helping neighbors, and this point of the show, we're
going to talk about kind of how the celebrity world

(04:19):
is stepping up in some of the cancelations on things.
Beyonce's Bay Good Foundation donated two point five million dollars,
and with that, she made an announcement on social media
yesterday canceling whatever announcement that she was going to make
this coming today. She was going to announce something today.

(04:40):
I didn't realize it was already January fourteenth, she said,
due to a later day from the devastation caused by
the ongoing wildfires around the area of Los Angeles. I
continue to pray for the healing and the rebuilding for
the family suffering from trauma and loss. We are so
blessed to have brave first responders who will continue to
work tirelessly, tirelessly to protect the Los angele list community.

(05:02):
Speaking of firefighters and first responders, et cetera. In the
same vein here, UMG has canceled all of its events
for the Grammys, stating a very similar message. But the
Grammys will continue on February second, and they'll probably make
it very much in reflection and celebration of first responders.
The OSCAR nominations are delayed, Skims is donating. Netflix announced

(05:26):
that they are donating ten million dollars. Doja cat is
teamed up with the Red Cross and is creating a
special merch line where all proceeds will go back to
the LA wildfires. I heard Media has teamed up with
the Dream Fund as well. If you're looking for somewhere
to donate, and I had mentioned this yesterday, I had
learned something about donations. You can request a nine to

(05:48):
ninety from whatever organization that you are donating money to,
and if they can provide that, you should be good.
But if they can't, be aware of scamming and such,
because I know that that comes up quite event all right,
last and three things you need to know this morning
kind of in the same vein the weekend announced that
he is postponing his album and I'm assuming tour announcements

(06:09):
that were coming and the next week or two too,
he's I think delaying that either until the very end
of January or the first part of February. He was
set to be what I believe, the first artist to
release a new album in the year of twenty twenty five.
With that being said, in an interview with Variety magazine,
he said, I'm going to be kind of abandoning the

(06:32):
name the Weekend closing this chapter. I would say my
existence as the Weekend is ending. It's a headspace I've
got to get into that. I just don't have any
more desire for You have a persona, but then you
have the competition of it all. It becomes this rat race,
more accolades, more success, more shows, more albums, more awards,
and more number ones. It just never ends until you

(06:55):
end it. A part of me actually was thinking, you
lost your voice because it's done. You said what you
had to say. Don't overstay at the party. You can
end it now and live a happy life. Looking back
at his canceled shows from twenty twenty two due to
his voice, etc. I think he's kind of reflecting on that,
and I think after this this will be the end

(07:17):
really of the Weekend. Not with music, but I think
of that persona. We'll see what comes of that one.
All right. That is three things you need to know
for the fourteenth of January coming up next, and make
a date or break. It's where relationships and therapy come together.
On my show, let's talk about expectations in the dating world,

(07:39):
and like, really, what would it be like to just
say exactly what you want in the dating world to somebody.
Have you tried this yet? Maybe you're an expert at it.
We'll get to that next. Don't go far. Best way
to keep listening to TIF in the mornings by searching
kiss one oh seven one on the iHeartRadio app. Good morning,
it's time to make it date or break on tip

(08:02):
in the morning. Good morning, it has been a minute
since we've done this. This is where relationships in therapy
come together. On my show on Tuesday mornings, we talked
to Lori Sharpage, who's our licensed clinical counselor and an
expert in the relationship world, the dating world. Good morning, Lorie.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Good morning, test.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
It's been a while. It's good to hear your voice.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Agreed.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
So I tested this theory out a couple of days ago,
and that is simply this one simple thing that you
can do in the dating world that girls one hundred
percent are overthinking and overlooking. And I bet guys would
agree with me on that. And that is simply saying,
before I give you any context, just simply saying exactly
what you want, what are your initial thoughts on that?

Speaker 6 (08:47):
So I love it, and I think that this is
a great strategy that actually extends beyond dating. This is
a great thing to do in your life. And a
lot of us have been taught to not exactly go
fully after what we want or say fully want with
to try and kind of beat around the bush, so
to speak, and it just is not a great strategy.
When you step into your own power and you're like,

(09:09):
this is what I want, you can get so much more,
so much faster.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
So I love this.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Okay, so let me tell you the context portion of this,
and you'll have to let me know if I did
it right or not. Since I'm new in the dating world,
I met I met someone in the wild and I
was I was We're like a week indo texting, right,
and I'm chilling with my neighbor who lives next door
to me. He's a guy, and I was kind of
getting his advice on it. I was like, what should

(09:35):
I say in this text message? He's like, Tiffy, what
do you mean You're overthinking it? And I'm like, well,
what do you mean, I'm over there. He's like you're
trying to You're You're like, you either need to, Like,
you go on one date and you decide do I
want to hang out with this person more or do
I want to hang out with this person left less?
He's like, I either go left on it or I
go right on it. And so I think, as girls,
we're waiting for guys to make the first move. We're

(09:58):
waiting for them to court us. We're waiting for We're
just waiting. We're waiting for them. And I've learned that
we pretty much have two very different communication styles. My
neighbor goes just simply ask him do you want to
hang out tonight? Yes or no? And so I sent
that text message. I said, hey, you know, do you
want to hang out tonight? And he immediately came back

(10:19):
and said yes absolutely. Meanwhile, the entire time, I was thinking,
you know, you know, should we just kind of like
give it a couple of options? Should I just do this?
Should I do that? My neighbor goes, don't give him
any options, just say do you want to hang out tonight?
Yes or no? And I don't know, as from a
girl's standpoint, it's not that I'm I don't maybe I'm

(10:40):
just overthinking it. I'm also naive and new to this
situation too, but I wanted to get your take on that.
What are you hearing?

Speaker 6 (10:46):
I definitely don't think you're overthinking, and I think you
did it exactly right.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
I think that we.

Speaker 6 (10:52):
Are taught a lot as girls to kind of take
care of everybody's needs all around us and not necessarily
focused on our own. And what you did yesterday by
just simplifying that or the other day, by just simplifying
the text is basically you just said here's what's up,
yes or no, and you put yourself in a more
vulnerable position by doing that, but in a more assertive

(11:14):
So I think you did a great job. And I
think that people are actually happier and more comfortable when
we give them less choices. So by just making it
a yes or no choice, I think you actually made
it easier on the person you're talking with and connecting
with too.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
But there at this point it feels as if I
will you're right correct, and you're correct. I'm trying not
to overthink it. I'm just trying to be like, yes
or no, yes or no, this or that. It's very
new to me because I would say. On a girl's standpoint,
girls like details, girls like options, girls and choices. We
like to either, we like to pivot, we like to

(11:52):
be you know, we're going here, we're going there, and
guys are very much like you just tell me yes
or no.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
Yep.

Speaker 6 (11:59):
I think that part of the want of the details
and wanting the options is like it shows that somebody
has checked in and is considering you and is wanting
to provide you with that. And I think that's what
you were doing initially. But by making this a simpler
choice of like do we just want to hang out,
you got to the answer faster, and I think that

(12:19):
that's a pretty cool thing for you to do when
you're really working on what do you want? And honestly,
what I want is like one of the hardest questions
that we have to answer, and it's it's just a
hard one that we have to really kind of put ourselves.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Out there and do. So I think you did it
exactly right.

Speaker 6 (12:39):
I do get that it's uncomfortable and it's a change
in how you're thinking about things, but I like this.
I'm interested for you to continue to try this on
for yourself.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
I mean, we're keeping it simple. You guys know my
New Year's res twenty twenty five. We're just relax. We're
just going to keep it schill. We're gonna relax. We're
not going to overthink.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
We're just gonna do it.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
We're just gonna, you know, keep it simple. One question
that I will never answer, though, Lourie, and I bet
you already know what it is. It's when someone says, Tiff,
what do you what do you want to eat? Are
you hungry? What do you want to eat?

Speaker 7 (13:12):
Don't ask don't ever ask me that question.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
You'll regret it. It will be the worst decision of
your life. Oh, Laurie, it is so good to hear
your voice on my show again. I appreciate I miss you.
Make a date or break It's a relationships and therapy
intersect on Tiff in the Morning and Laurie's our relationship expert.
She joins us on Tuesdays. It's good to hear from you.

Speaker 6 (13:39):
Oh, it's great to be here. Thanks so much again
for having me by gal.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
All right, if you've got a question for us or
for her, really, you can reach out to us on
social media, leave me a talkback with Tiff too. That's
always a good alternative. When you search kiss on iHeartRadio,
you'll see the microphone right next to the play button.
Good morning, and don't ever ask me what I want
to eat? Good morning. You're waking up with TIF in
the morning on Kiss one oh seven one, or in

(14:04):
the midst of Make a Date or Break. It's where
relationships and therapy come together on my show on Tuesdays.
And I sought out a guy in the office to
test this theory. If you're just walking into this conversation,
our licensed clinical counselor Lori sharp Page and I were
just chatting about girls simply saying exactly what they want
and not overthinking it. Liam.

Speaker 8 (14:24):
I mean, it depends what they want. But I like
what they want. But I mean they say what they
want and I don't want to hear it. But it
just couds on the situation, I guess, but I do
like hear what I said.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
I'm being direct, Okay, So maybe it's more just the
idea of being direct because in the dating world, I
think girls are like, well, we could do this, or
we could do that, or you know, I'm gonna wait
for him to say something, and I'm gonna wait for
him to do this and do that, and instead of
doing that just saying, hey, do you want to hang
out tonight? Yes or no?

Speaker 9 (14:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (14:55):
That's the same thing with like picking a movie.

Speaker 8 (14:57):
I'll be scrolling like, oh I could watch this, I
could watch this, and I'll pick a movie.

Speaker 10 (15:00):
Well, I didn't want to watch that movie. You know
what I'm saying. Okay, so that's what I want to
hear also sometimes but yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
You like a direct Okay, all right, there you go.
Thank you, Liam, I appreciate you. We're in the midst
of just testing out new theories in twenty twenty five
on Tiff in the morning. In the meantime, we're still
commercial free and we're not far off from the three
things you need to know to get your day started
in sincey don't go far.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Whnn, you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with TIF.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Chicken fries, with the side of little Something Else, Little
something Something, what's going on at Burger King and Hamilton? Guys,
come on, what's going on? What's going on? Sometimes you
turn a corner on the Internet and you're like, what
the hell, what did I find here? So this story
started on TikTok because actually I don't even have her name.
Why don't I have her name pulled up? Jenna? Jenna

(15:52):
is her name? Stopped at Burger King, got some chicken fries,
which I'm sure we're delicious. But inside the bag there
was wheat in there. And when I had initially heard
the story, I was like, oh, like, maybe I don't
like it, like a little bit of weed. No, this
felt like it was a lot. The video of this
on TikTok has been viewed almost like a hundred thousand
times or a million times. At this point. That was

(16:14):
a considerable amount of bud inside that bag. I got
some of my kids some chicken fries. This bag came.
If you look them in there, you can see some residue.
She got her chicken fries. Chicken fries with the side
of do you see that?

Speaker 5 (16:28):
You can't say that on here, Mary Jane from Burger
King in Hamilton, Ohio.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Would I tell you that was not like what like
Oopsie's How did that even get in there? It was?
It was a considerable amount from what I would I
would think. I'm not an expert in it, but I've
seen it. I've seen the act, Like how did that
get into that?

Speaker 4 (16:47):
Bag Uh.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
The employee has since been fired. I don't know if
there were any charges press at this moment, but Hamilton,
you know, Hamilton on Hamilton Burger King is definitely getting
some press on the internet at this point. That was
on TikTok and we'll have more i think coming up
in our eight o'clock hour about the new version of
TikTok coming out. I've been reading on it. We'll table
that for now, but that story is trending in Sincy.

(17:08):
Speaking of Burger Kim, I absolutely love their original chicken
sandwich in French fries. It's been forever since I've had it,
but man, that hit all right. Second, in three things
you need to know this morning, let's talk about Travis
Kelsey was on the Pat McAfee show, and he was
the one that kind of not let it slip. He

(17:30):
definitely caught himself. But chatting about Taylor's new music, here's
a clip for you.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
So many boys out there.

Speaker 11 (17:36):
I've heard about them all because my wife now I've
listened to all the albums.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
I've heard about them all.

Speaker 11 (17:40):
I appreciate you, dude, you And also I think there's
one coming where it's like but it'd be great, Like, hey, guy,
good thing, you know, like that'll be great in my house.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
There might be a few.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
I don't know, there might be a few.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
Have you heard any Have you heard any you get?
Are you a test here?

Speaker 6 (17:56):
You know?

Speaker 4 (17:56):
I can't.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
I can't say any of that.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
You know, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
I hear music everywhere.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
Okay, let's just say you're hanging out. Say you're hanging out,
have a little dinner. No, I have a little dinner.

Speaker 11 (18:09):
All of a sudden, the creative juice sparks and the
absolute beast that you're sitting with who is going to
go down is maybe the most famous icon in the
history of music.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
And she starts thinking something and you go, ooh, I
like that. Are you are you are? Are you a
motivator at every single time?

Speaker 12 (18:23):
Are you?

Speaker 1 (18:24):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (18:24):
Now you know it?

Speaker 2 (18:25):
You know it?

Speaker 1 (18:25):
I don't.

Speaker 4 (18:25):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
I'll never I'll never chime in. But you already know
it's it's full. I'm I'm here to support it. I'm
here to see where it can go. You know what
I mean?

Speaker 4 (18:33):
And I'll tell you where it went. That stadium was Banana's.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
No, I have no idea what we're going to get
our next Taylor Swift album, I would assume it would
be at some point in twenty twenty five. When there's
more on that one, I'll have it for you. And
then lastly, in three things, you need to know this
more and let's touch base on the wildfires. In the
last hour, I had talked about, you know, which celebrities
were donating money and which causes we're doing which, et cetera.

(18:58):
But the people that I keep seeing the most are
Heidi and Spencer. Now, I never really grew up with
the TV show, so I had no idea that Heidi
was even an artist. And the world, when you know,
when the world needs to step up, I guess they do.
So they've been streaming her music and here she is
on social yesterday.

Speaker 5 (19:18):
Good morning, waking up to Superficial being number one song
on the top iTunes charts, Superficial.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Album number one on overall genres. So excited about that.
So thank you for giving us such light in the darkness.
If you don't have any idea what Superficial sounds like,
there's probably a good reason why you haven't heard it yet.
But here's a quick clip.

Speaker 9 (19:42):
And Sam Shams.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Show that project was really I used to digitally on
January eleventh, two thousand and ten, and she started working
on it. I guess in two thousand and seven. I
also saw videos of Spencer being like, I was once
the most hated person on the internet and now people
love me and they used to call me broke and poor,
and now they call me rich and I have nothing.

(20:20):
He's like, I can't ever win with you, guys. That
is three things you need to know for the fourteenth
of January. Coming up. Next, let's talk about red note.
I think that's come up, but you know my rule,
three or more times will get into it, and it's
been sent to me a few so let's chitchat about
the new version of TikTok. Potentially you can be involved
in the conversation and give me your thoughts if you
search kiss one oh sep one on iHeartRadio. I also

(20:41):
have this feature called Talkback with Tiff. The microphone is
right next to the play button. All you would need
to do is hold that down and you have thirty
seconds or so to tell me what your thoughts are
on that or really anything else in this world.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Good morning, you're waking up with fifth in the morning.
H kiss.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Good morning, So if TikTok goes away on Sunday, are
we gonna use red Note? The one thing you need
to know about it in one second here, you know
my rule if something comes across my feed, get sent
to me on DMS or even in my own group
text with my girlfriends. Three or more times we talk
about it. And I am genuinely curious as to what
your thoughts are on the TikTok ban and if you'll

(21:20):
move over to red Note, or just your general thoughts,
especially if you're a content creator. Five win three seven
four nine, one h seven one. We can chitchat about
it here. And the joke on the internet is TikTok
is going away, but in parentheses it says for real
this time? So what is what is red Note? The
one thing you need to know if you're going to

(21:42):
download Red Note is it is not an exact replica
of TikTok. It may eventually get there in time, but
it is not. Red Note is a Chinese owned company
that gained popularity in the last couple of years, but
it is not an exact replica of TikTok. Although I
have seen a lot of people in hashtags, etc. Saying

(22:03):
like TikTok refugee, I'm moving over to Red note now.
The reason being if you're like, wait a minute, I
thought we were banning this thing because of the Chinese.
Because Byte Dance, who owns TikTok is, is a Chinese company.
Why would we move over directly to a Chinese company?
I was confused about that as well. The owner of
byte Dance said, it is a Chinese founded private company

(22:27):
operating many businesses in China, but it is global in nature.
The thing you need to know about byte Dance is
that it is like a complex corporate, multi layered structure,
but it is ultimately a private owned technology giant. But
you know, the Western hemisphere is nervous that there's you know,
it could be the Chinese could be stealing our data.

(22:49):
So why would we just go over and give it
to Rednoe? Think because the American people are annoyed and
pissed that they're getting rid of it. Yes, I saw
the thing yesterday that they're asking for an extension, et cetera.
But this is one thing after another, kicking the can
down the road. Right. What was the other thing I
wanted to say about it?

Speaker 4 (23:05):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Yeah, I think people in the US are annoyed with
Meta and Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg, so they don't really
want to be a part of that. YouTube shorts, I
would say, would be the next big competitor, especially in
the beta generation that's coming up as of this year.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
And X.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
I think the YouTube consumption is really really high. But
YouTube is going to start integrating AI as well at
some point or another, and so you might find less
authenticity and more AI. And then Twitter is just I'm
a big fan. I still use X. I use X
a lot for news, but TikTok has really just cemented

(23:44):
itself in twenty two thousands culture or in twenty twenty culture.
People love it. I get it. People make money off
of it. I am at this point where I've stopped
contributing to the app and wasting my time on it,
but I still definitely consume it. It will not disappear
from your phone. If you're like, Okay, well what happens now?

(24:06):
You will if it goes through on Sunday, You'll no
longer be able to download the app and become a
new user, but you'll still be able to access it,
but you won't have access to any of the privacy updates,
et cetera. So over time the app quality will degrade
and you'll probably just leave it behind. Let's do this
before we get to the wallows. Tickets, you know, red
note is the keyword you're gonna need for them. In

(24:27):
a couple of minutes, Let's get your opinion five one, three, seven,
four nine, one oh seven one, just general thoughts about
TikTok going away. You can also talk back with Tiff. Hi,
good morning. You're waking up with Tiff in the morning
on Kiss one oh seven one. Could you survive without
TikTok totally? I hate TikTok. I think that place is
a cess pool of misinformation, and I think I would

(24:50):
just ride without TikTok brainly, well, thank you for the
talk back with Tiff. When you search a Kiss on iHeartRadio,
it's an alternative way to contribute to the show's conversation.
You'll see the microphone right next to the play button,
and you just hold that down and you have thirty
seconds to leave me a voice note. I'm a big
voice notes person. I leave everyone voice notes, so it's
only fitting that I have it on my own radio show.
That's what we're in the midst of talking about this morning,

(25:11):
if TikTok goes through with the ban on Sunday, how
could you survive without it?

Speaker 3 (25:18):
Will?

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Will you go over to red Note. Red Note, by
the way, is the keyword you're going to need to
win the Wallows tickets. You can get caught up on
the podcast once the show wraps up. But we were
just talking about how the internet might start migrating over
to this quote new version of TikTok. I said this
from Jump. The one thing you need to know about
Red Note is that it is not going to be
an exact replica of what you know on TikTok.

Speaker 7 (25:42):
I'm going to have a really hard time without TikTok.
I'm one of those people that is a doom scroller.
Late at night when I can't sleep, I get on
that app and I.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Just scroll, scroll, scroll.

Speaker 7 (25:52):
It helps me fall back asleep, And I'm going to
have a really hard time if it does go away.
Fingers crossed it doesn't because I love the TikTok.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
I agree with you in the sense that it does
provide entertainment. Now I have to be extremely conscious about
how much time I spend on there. I will look
at the clock when I open up the app and
set a timer for myself, and I often find myself
pushing that timer. An hour could go by while you're
just on TikTok. Do I think it's entertaining. That's why

(26:22):
I scroll. I don't necessarily look for information and news,
but I do see news come up quite a bit.
Is there misinformation? Yeah, I think there's misinformation everywhere. Though
we still have time for one more. You can always
contribute to the conversation as well.

Speaker 6 (26:37):
I should survive without TikTok because basically I just hate scroll.

Speaker 5 (26:41):
Like I'll go through all of like everything in my
feed and like it's just I get so mad and
so annoyed.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
I just hate everyone.

Speaker 10 (26:47):
I see on TikTok. I just can't stand it. But
I spend so much time.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Girl. I mean, to each his own, that feels like
a waste, but to each his own. It's funny how
we all interact with the app very differently. I don't
think I'm alone in this, but when I'm on TikTok,
I don't want to see a single person that I know.
I go over to Instagram for that. When I'm on TikTok,
I'm in a different world where Tiffany doesn't exist. All right,

(27:14):
coming up next, If you can give me three minutes,
I will give you two tickets to Wallows. They're coming
to the Brady. I discovered this band maybe four or
five months ago, and I love them, love, love love.
So maybe you're a big fan of Wallows and you're like,
oh my god, they're coming. I want to go, or
you want to just be introduced to a new experience
in Cincy. You have a chance to win. Like I said,
three minutes from now, with the keyword red note, you're waking.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
Up with you say if in the morning on kiss
one O seven.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
To one, Good morning, Good morning. I'm hoping you have
a keyword for me. Is it red note? Congratulations? You
got the keyword and you're calling over ten. Thank you,
You're welcome. What's your name? What neighbor are you calling
me from this morning? Amber, Bridgetown, Amber, Thank you for
waking up with tiff in the morning every day.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
We're in the midst of talking about TikTok yes or
no thoughts on the band. While we're at it, you
might as well contribute. I use TikTok as Google.

Speaker 6 (28:07):
I like TikTok, but a biggest band, I've moved to
something else.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
Okay, would you re download a new app that was
similar to TikTok or you think you would just move
on from the experience. I wat reels on Facebook, so
I probably.

Speaker 4 (28:20):
Just move on.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
Yeah, I'm with you. I haven't quite decided amber, but
I liked your take on that. I appreciate you.

Speaker 7 (28:26):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
You're welcome. If you took an l on the wallows tickets,
just set a reminder to get up with Tiff in
the morning every day this week around eight thirty, I
have your chance to win. I'm still very curious on
your take. You know, I haven't quite decided, Like I
mentioned there, what I would do if TikTok really got
band the band went through on Sunday, how would I
move forward with my life? I think this could be
a really good time for me to be conscious about

(28:48):
what I would want out of the app or a
new app. If I were to download something, rather than
just having either another thing to work on or another
distraction in my life, I think I'd be very int
eensional moving forward. That's it. That's one thing I do
know about this all right in the meantime, we're still
commercial free and we are not far off from the
three things you need to know, Lenn, You need to

(29:11):
know She's got you. It's three things with tip good morning,
or just before nine o'clock, around nine oh five, I
have your first chance of the day to win one
thousand dollars. So don't go far all right. I don't
necessarily have any new updates as far as four seventy
one goes, but I like to continue to provide you
with context and audio, and you know how I feel

(29:32):
about audio. Never do those in the winter months.

Speaker 12 (29:35):
We only do those during, you know, typically the warm
weather months. So our contractor's great Lex Construction, they've got
a great plan in place that we hope that will work,
that they can actually pour the concrete in these colder temperatures.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
That was Kathleen Fuller. You might recognize her voice because
I play her quite a bit on my show. With
this from Oda, the cold temperatures when it comes to
pouring contrete concrete don't necessarily match up very well. We're
just praying that miss Mother Nature is on our side,
okay when it comes to that. We're still on track
for that mid March opening. As of right now. I'll

(30:08):
let you know if that changes. Second, and three things
you need to know This morning, Travis Kelsey was on
the Pat McAfee show, and this is the most information
we have about Taylor Swift's new music that we've gotten
in a while.

Speaker 11 (30:20):
So many boys out there. I've heard about them all
because my wife. Now, I've listened to all the albums.
I've heard about them all. I appreciate you, dude, you.
And also I think there's one coming where it's like
gonna be great, Like, hey, guy, good thing, you know,
like that'll be great in my house.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
You know, there might be a few.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
I don't know, there might be a few.

Speaker 4 (30:38):
Have you heard any? Have you heard any? You? Are
you a test here? You know? I can't.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
I can't say any of that, you know, I can't.

Speaker 10 (30:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
I hear music everywhere.

Speaker 4 (30:50):
Okay, let's just say you're hanging out. Say you're hanging out,
have a little dinner. No, have a little dinner.

Speaker 11 (30:54):
All of a sudden, the creative juice sparks and the
absolute beast that you're sitting with who is gonna down
is maybe the most famous icon in the history of music.

Speaker 4 (31:03):
And she starts thinking something and you go ooh, I
like that. Are you are you are? Are you a
motivator at every single time? Are you now? You know it?
You know it?

Speaker 2 (31:10):
I don't, I don't, I'll never I'll never chime in,
but you already know it's it's full. I'm I'm here
to support it. I'm here to see where it can go.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
You know nothing more sexy than that. That is the
voice of Travis Kelsey and Pat McAfee. If you're just
walking into this asking about new music, et cetera. From Taylor,
I'm curious on who's going to be who's putting Who's
gonna put out music this year? I felt like everyone
did it last year, so who's it gonna be?

Speaker 6 (31:33):
All right?

Speaker 1 (31:33):
Lastly, the three things you need to know speaking of
music and such, and the first person of twenty twenty
five who's supposed to be The Weekend. The Weekend had
announced on social that he was going to delay the
launch of his new album until the end of January
and the concert announcement. Now he is amongst many others
that are in talks of just delaying and giving respect

(31:56):
in space for La, Let's talk about La for a
hot second, over a hundred and fifty thousand people are
still under evacuation notice. Beyonce and her foundation announced that
they're going to give two point five million dollars to
relief efforts. She also posted a note on social saying
that the announcement that she was going to make today

(32:16):
will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation.
Curious was that going to be a tour? Was that
going to be an album? Doja Kat teamed up with
the Red Cross doing a merch line where one hundred
percent of the proceeds go. Skims is donating, Netflix is
donating ten million. UMG canceled its events for the Grammys
to put the money towards relief efforts, but the Grammys

(32:40):
are still happening. On February second, Oscar nominations are delayed.
Sony announced that they're donating five million dollars. So people
are trying their best to come together. I say this
all the time, it doesn't matter every corner you take
on the Internet, you'll either find something that's tragic or
shortly after something good. Neighbors helping neighbors, and that's something
we can do right here in our own unity. That

(33:00):
is three things you need to know for the fourteenth
of January. Coming up at nine oh five your first
chance of the day to win one thousand bucks. So
don't go far.

Speaker 3 (33:09):
You're waking up fifth in the morning.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
Kiss one seven one, Hey, good morning. My best friend
Allison asked me if I wanted to do this one
thing with her next month, and I thought about it
and I said, no, I do not. The one thing
that I do not do, or I'm very reluctant to
do in January and February is travel, really, because that's

(33:32):
when everybody, you have to come closer to the night here,
you have to come closer to the microphone. My bad.
You knew here. Sarah Alice, you guys know her for
our She's a part of our show's inner Circle, and
then she works with Kid Chris in the morning on
w EBN, et cetera. I don't want to go anywhere
in January and February because I'm terrified of exactly what
being snowed in or something absolutely, especially if you're traveling

(33:53):
anywhere in the middle of the country or over towards
you know, maybe Nashville or Texas. Anytime they get hit
with even a dusting of snow. You could be trapped
there for three or four nights. I'm not kidding. It
happened to my girlfriend in Nashville. Happened to my girlfriend
Shannon when she went to Houston. It's remember the Nashville story. Yeah,
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (34:12):
When I'm thinking about January and February, all I want
to do is get out of here. I mean, I
just booked a trip to Phoenix. Did it for the
end of February. Not once did I even think about snow.
Oh my god, I'm a terrified factor at in But
it's too late.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
It is a gimble anytime you get on an airplane
in January, February, and even March really depending on where
you're going.

Speaker 5 (34:33):
But you never know why they're here. In Cincinnati, it's wild.
And Chris and I were just talking about opening day
seventy two days away, by the way, thinking about what
March twenty seventh could look like. Now last year, absolute
perfect condition, sixty and sunny. But hey, with Cincinnati, I've
seen it snowing on that day, raining in thirty. I've
seen it seventy and sunny. You just never know what

(34:55):
you're gonna get anywhere.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
No, but you do know the one thing is Tiffany
will be sixty five sheets to the wind regardless of
the temperature. This is why we love you. Okay, So
talk about let's talk about going to You've gone, I've gone.
Talk about going to Phoenix for spring training? Is it
worth it?

Speaker 3 (35:11):
What do you think?

Speaker 5 (35:12):
Absolutely? Ten out of ten. That's where the Cincinnati Reds
played baseball. They're in Goodyear. So you just book a
direct right to Phoenix. You're there in four hours. On
the way back it's three. And yeah, it's worth it
because usually it sucks pretty bad here Arizona. It's always perfect.
You're gonna get dry, it's not gonna rain. Knock on wood,
You're not gonna get the humid temps. I'll take Arizona

(35:34):
over Florida any day. I love it out there. Okay,
that's Sarah's take.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
So if you're a sports person, you would recommend a
girls trip and you could go and do spring training
and go and do Reds and whatnot and go and
do that. You can do all kind of stuff. Yeah,
you get your pull time in.

Speaker 5 (35:47):
There's tons of shopping in Scottsdale, really good places to eat.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
Oh yeah, I go every year. When I went, we
went on the same year, but we had two very
different trips and Sarah is painting it in a beautiful picture.
But when I went, it was like fairly chilly and
someday and it did pour one of the days. So
it is a gamble, of course, because that's weather wise
and very odd of that to happen.

Speaker 5 (36:08):
The Reds are like, we've never had to cancel a
game before, so there is a first for everything.

Speaker 1 (36:12):
But I recommend going and staying directly in Scottsdale. They're
not in the same place. The Reds play like a
good thirty five forty minutes away from where the city is. Yeah,
when I went last year, I stayed in Scottsdale, and
I had a lot of walking, a lot of shopping,
a lot of food and beverage. It was a really
good three night trip. But you could also do Red
Spring training if you wanted to rent a car. You,

(36:34):
on the other hand, liked to go specifically for baseball
and stay out there and you come, you commute into
the city the thirty or forty minutes and stay closer
to the stadium. And I'm the opposite.

Speaker 5 (36:45):
Yeah, I mean it all kind of depends on what
you want out of your trip.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
We were there so long.

Speaker 5 (36:49):
Last time, there was time for everything we hiked. I mean,
we did the shopping, plenty of restaurants. By the I
was broke, I'm like, I got to go home because
I have no money.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
Speaking of being broke, if you are planning a trip
or you're looking, you know you need some cash and
you miss the keyword for one thousand bucks. This hour
it was green. We're gonna pay your bills with a
grand every hour on the show all the way through
John John and Friends around nine oh five, So take
Green to Kisscincinnati dot com for your chance to win.
Coming up at nine point forty, we'll do the daily debrief.

(37:22):
I'll choose the one big thing that we talked about
on our show today and and I think it's TikTok.
I think according to your talkbacks with Tiff, it's TikTok.
We'll get to that and your take next.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, Kiss bo.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
Who will I tag in videos anymore? That's what Sarah
Alice just said to me as she was walking out
of the studio. I had asked what her thoughts were
on the TikTok band. She's like, I spend all day
just tagging you and Toria and my sister and videos.
We go back and forth all day. It's like a
love language. Oh, I totally get it. We're doing the
daily debrief every day. At this time, I choose one

(37:55):
thing out of four hours worth a conversation and we
revisit it just in case.

Speaker 4 (38:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
No, Well, first of all, I love to debrief. Girls
love to debrief detail by detail, exact moment if you
know you know. Guys not so much. But it also
gives you a chance to contribute and be a part
of the conversation, especially if this is the beginning part
of your day. So we had chatted earlier in the show.
Will you be okay if TikTok goes away on Sunday?

Speaker 12 (38:22):
I personally love TikTok.

Speaker 11 (38:26):
Just like for the fact that there's been.

Speaker 8 (38:28):
Like toys that we've gotten from my son and I.

Speaker 5 (38:31):
Literally have no idea how to put together.

Speaker 12 (38:33):
If you search in TikTok, you can find out how
to put this together, how to do this?

Speaker 1 (38:39):
Yep, it's great if you want.

Speaker 4 (38:41):
If you're like a visual.

Speaker 7 (38:42):
Learner and like to watch videos, somewhere things well.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
Thank you for the talk back with TIF. It's an
alternative way to contribute to the show outside of our
phone lines and dms. Listening to my show on iHeartRadio,
you'll see the microphone next to the play button. It's
like leaving me voice notes. I'm a voice notes person.
I will voice note a stranger rather than text them,
but to each of them. So try to give you
a lot of options. We will probably revisit this conversation

(39:07):
from now pretty much once a day, I bet until Sunday,
as you so you can contribute really at any point,
and I'll see it when I come in every morning
for the show. How what will you do? We also
how will you? Will you be okay if TikTok goes away?
Was the question. We also chatted about red Note, which
has come up a few times amongst my circle here

(39:28):
of will I transition over to that I told you
the one thing you need to know about red note.
You can get caught up on the podcast at any
point when you have some free time today when you
search tip Tiff in the morning on iHeartRadio. You can
make it a preset to make things a little easier
on you. And we do that every day as soon
as the show wraps up. All right, I hope you're
off to a good start. Good morning, Stay warm. We're

(39:49):
supposed to see some flurries and snow showers move in
at some point today, but it really just depends on
what area you're in, so just be aware that that's coming.
With tips in the morning. Done kiss when it was
some one. Oh my god, it's time to say goodbye already.
I feel like my life is just so nah right now,

(40:14):
and not in a bad way, just a really slow, quiet,
January way. We're not really leaving the house much. We're
not really making plans much. And it's the same for
my inner circle too. My friends will you know, we'll
text here and there, but no one's really like, Hey,
do you want to go do this? Do you want

(40:36):
to go do that? I haven't been doing that much lately,
and I'm trying to be cool about you know, like
we're saving money, we're you know, not consuming as much
alcohol or food out of the house. I all, you know,
it's just a really we're nesting. I don't know what
I'm nesting for, but I'm just staying in the house
a lot lately, which is, you know, kind of new

(40:57):
for me. I did run errand's with my friend the
other day, and I forgot how much fun it is
to run errands with someone. That's what I'm really about. No,
I don't want to sit across from you and have
a meal. No, I don't really want to go out
for a happy hour drink right now. I want to
go run and you gotta go to Target. I'll go
with you. Do you have to go run a bunch
of errands and return stuff or go shopping for a

(41:20):
piece of furniture. I'm your girl, That's what I want
to be right now. I'm in my errands face. I
might be alone in that one, but I doubt it
if we're not connected on social dat you know, we
do this every day on the air, but we also
move over to social media once it's done, not TikTok.
We talked about that a lot today. But I'm at
the tip to F's potter like the Wizard. We'll be
back tomorrow. I hope you have a great rest of

(41:41):
the day. It is Tuesday, stay warm, and we're halfway
through the month of January. As of tomorrow,
