Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because you're waking up with fifth in the morning. Hi,
kiss morning. Who does not like pizza? Stand up show yourself?
I love pizza.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
I love it. I love it.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
That is the keyword you're gonna need, by the way,
for the job rule, Nellie and I keep wanting to
say a shanty, but it's Eve coming to River Bend
this summer. You're gonna need a keyword pizza if you
want to win those tickets in like ten or so minutes.
This is the second study that I've talked about on
my show today. We're just very knowledgeable on the show
this morning. According to this thing here that caught my eye,
(00:37):
the pizza that you like as a kid is most
likely the pizza you're still eating today.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
Yes or no?
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Maybe not the same like that school high school cafeteria
square cut pizza that was sometimes undercooked in the middle.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
I mean, am I still going for that one?
Speaker 3 (00:57):
No?
Speaker 2 (00:57):
But am I still going It brings back memories, But
I am still going for a cheese pizza.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
I love a good cheese. I mean I like to jazz.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
It up a little bit right with pepper flakes and parmesan.
But there's something about when that Italian style, by the way,
is where I like Italian style pizza. So the Goodfellows
would probably be the closest thing to good pizza that
I'm used to getting up in New England, when that
first bite where you fold the pizza in half with
(01:28):
your hand, love it.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Love it. I also like.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
I have upgraded my style a little bit too, like
peppers and onions and veggies and like banana peppers on
a pizza I love so, so so much. Sarah grabbed
the mic real quick. You know she comes in at
least once a day. The true or false, The pizza
that you like as a child is still most likely
the pizza that you're ordering today.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Uh yeah, pepperoni, You're a pep gal.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
Yeah. But if I'm gonna do something adult ish with
my pizza, is that a word?
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Like I'm adding jalapinos, peppers, mushrooms, like a little jam. Yeah,
oh yeah, a good jam.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
I actually haven't gone on and I don't know why
it's been. You know, I've lived here for six or
so years. I have not gone on a Cincinnati or
I should say, Tri State Pizza tour.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Hmm, yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
I would ten out of ten recommend that I've never
met a pizza I don't like. But my favorite all
time Mariachi beef from Donado's Tomatoes Jalapinos, spicy sausage beef.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Thin.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
It's thin right, thinner crust you dip it in the
sour cream.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
So good.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Okay, where else though, outside of Lorosis, which I've had
at every race I've run, nothing tastes better than a
slice of Lorosi's pizza when I get off of a
like a six mile run after a race. Yeah, but
but I I'm if I want to order like pizza.
Where am I going? Where am I going on side
of that stuff?
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Uh? You know, we were just at Max the other day,
Mainstros Pizza. They've got some good pizza. Yeah, good apps.
Good place to watch some football.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Five one three, seven, four nine one o seven one
or talk back with tiff I. I obviously know the
big the big leagues, the big players here. But what
are the ones that I don't know about that I
need to try for pizza?
Speaker 1 (03:21):
I love that song.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Okay, Cincinnati, not one person has stood up for what
it is that they love about the pizza in the
city and where they're going. I haven't got a single
caller talk back with tip you're waking up with TIF
in the morning on Kiss one oh seven one, and
the reason why I'm throwing shade you away.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
I'm just kidding. I'm not the uh.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
This study said that the pizza that you like as
a kid is most likely still the pizza that you're
eating today and you haven't changed much about it, which
led to the conversation of, Okay, if I'm going to
do a pizza tour in the Tri State to figure
out which one is my favorite, where should I go?
I haven't gotten anywhere so far. Shout out to Ben though,
(04:02):
one of my friends and a friend of the show.
He said that Mariachi Beef from Donado's got them through college,
so I've heard of the big players like Donado's Le Rosa's.
If I have to choose right now, I'm going a
Good Fella's. If my friend Allison was listening, she'd call
and tell me about Jets because I think the ranch
there is really famous.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
Right.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
If you get the Jets, you gotta get the Jets Ranch.
Where else am I missing?
Speaker 2 (04:28):
I want to know that like the corner Pizza, the
corner store pizza shops, and maybe that doesn't exist here.
Back in Massachusetts and in the Boston area, every corner
you turned there was like Billy Bob Billy Bob's Pizza,
or you know, Uncle Bill's Pizza, or Northeast Pizza, or
this pizza.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
I don't haven't really come across that.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
The one I have yet to try that gets a
ton of hype in my neighborhood is your Mom's Pizza
in Mount Adams. Haven't tried that. You'll have to let
me know, by the way, if you haven't picked up
Bonnet yet. Pizza is the keyword you're gonna need to
win the JA rule, Nelly and Eve tickets coming up
next time.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
You're waking up with TIF in the morning on Kiss
one O seven to one.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
HI, good morning.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
If you have the keyword that I mentioned earlier, you
can start dialing now for the Nelly Jaw rule and
EF tickets five one, three, seven, seven, one, collar ten.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Good luck.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
If you're just walking into this, we were talking about pizza spots.
The pizza that you ate as a kid, according to
this thing I read, is still the pizza that you're
probably consuming today. Not a lot of people change it out,
So I said, okay, Well, where am I going for
pizza in the triceday. I haven't really explored our pizza
scene that much, so I'm getting your feedback.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
So huge pizza person. Me and my husband got matching
pizza tattoos, So take this for what it's worth. Personally,
Petrino's here and Fort Thomas, Kentucky hands down, probably one
of my favorite pizzas. Specifically they're Chicken, Big and Ranch.
It's phenomenal. Other than that, Strongs in Newport is also
(06:10):
very very good. And Taglio and Columbia Tesclaw top three.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Thank you for the talkback with Tiff.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
When you search a kiss on the iHeart radio app,
the microphones in the top right corner you can hold
that down to do voice notes.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
There are multiple ways to get in touch. That is
one way.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
I'm so glad someone brought up Taglios because I do
love that. I've gone to the one in OTR quite
a bit. Thank you for reminding me of that one.
The other two I will add to my list. I
also want to have a late night sluice Mikey's Late
Night Slice? Am I saying that right? I want to
have that experience as well. Okay, you guys are great again,
Caller ten, Hopefully you picked up on the hint of
the what the keyword is for the tickets to Nelly?
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Five one three seven four nine one oh seven one.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
I have one open phone line left if you want
to call for the tickets.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on kiss
one O seven one.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
All right, speaking of jah Rule, he's coming with Nelly.
Nelly's coming to Cincinnati for like the third time in
a year during warmer days this summer at Riverband, I've
been giving away tickets every morning with a keyword around
eight thirty ish. So let's hope that you, my friend,
have the keyword, uh pizza. Congratulations, you're Collar ten and
(07:20):
you got the tickets.
Speaker 5 (07:21):
Awesome.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
You're going to see Nellie and Jah Rule and it's
going to be a time during warmer days this summer.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
At Riverbend awful acted. What's your name with neighborhood? You
waking up with men? My name is Matt, and I
am apparently downtown Cincinnati.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
Oh Matt, okay, Well, why you're I have got you
on the phone. What's your pizza recommendation?
Speaker 4 (07:40):
Ah, I'm always good with.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
Good follows down.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
In case dent. Yeah's been going there for years after
weekend nights, especially after a few couple of adult beverages.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Well, congratulations, I'm going to put you on hold if
you took an l on these tickets. I'll have more
tomorrow for our Friday show at eight thirty. If you
want to set a reminder to get up with Tiff
in the morning on Siri? Do you want to hear
a quick funny pizza story from my college days? So
in Boston I was Saint Patrick's Day is the biggest.
(08:13):
I think it might be the biggest holiday in the city.
Bars are packed, there's always lines. It's probably similar to
going to Chicago if you've gone up there for Saint
Patrick's Day. I have not, but I would think it's comparable.
I was in an area near the TD Garden and
if you're waiting for me to say it in my
Boston accent, which I'm sure you are, the TD Garden.
We were there and there's this bar called the Greatest
(08:36):
Ba and it's like four floors and there's always a
wicked long line to get into bars on Saint Patrick's Day.
But right next to the Greatest Bar there was this
little pizza shop, and New England is full of little
corner mom and pop pizza shops all over the place,
so especially in the North End area and the Garden area,
(08:58):
all the restaurants are small and tight. And right next
to the Garden is this small and tight pizza shop.
And we went in to get a snack and there's
a really long line at the Greatest Bar and we
can't get in. And I'm talking there's like three or
four barstools and you order and that's pretty much it.
So me being me, I say to the chef back there,
(09:19):
I said, hey, we really need to use your bathroom.
You can imagine having to go to bathroom in the
city of Boston and they're being like sixty people in line.
And he was like, we don't have one. We go
to the Greatest Bar when we need to use the bathroom.
I said, give me your apron. He's like, okay, dude,
gave me his apron. And I walked right into that
(09:39):
bar and I used the bathroom, and I walked right
back out and gave that apron, that same apron to
three or four of my girlfriends who were with me.
And let me tell you, ingenuity at its finest all right,
commercial free. A couple of minutes from now, we'll dive
into the three things you need to know to get
your day started in Sincy or for my dad who
is in Boston, joint enough, good morning.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Today's daily debrief was really hard to put together.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
I don't normally have this heart of a time choosing
the one big thing that we talked about.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
There were multiple things.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
But we got a lot of talkbacks that we didn't
get a chance to get to in the moment about
Cincinnati or I guess it's say the Tri States top
pizza places.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
So let's do that.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
If you're just walking into the conversation every day around
this time, I choose the one big thing, and then
we revisited and give you a chance, especially if you're
just starting your day, to be involved in the community
and the content in the conversation. I had read something
that the pizza you like as a child is most
likely the pizza you're still eating today with very little variation.
(10:45):
And I had asked, where are the spots in the
Tri State that we're getting pizza at?
Speaker 1 (10:49):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
So there's a couple of pizza places I actually haven't tried,
but I've heard a really good got Silver Glades, which
is super random, Riscatti's or Pizza It's near bar rou
I'm gonna back up Maxicalizza Pub so good, okay. And
as far as like the pizza eat as a kid,
I do sell tender sick with cheese, but I like pepperoni,
(11:13):
banana peppers and I've actually even grown.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Oh well, you got cut off there. Thank you for
the talk back with Tiff. That was a whole lot
to add to my list. Rasconi's. I have yet to
go in, and I do know what you're talking about.
It is on the corner of Baru There.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
What else, Hey, Tiff, good morning. I'm a cold cold beer.
Guys in two cities. Pizza is pretty good in Mason
on Main Street.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Oh okay, God, I'm going to add these to my list.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Yeah one more time.
Speaker 5 (11:39):
Okay, hear me out for some good pizza.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Little Caesars deep dish pepperoni look.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
So good, Little Caesars. The difference between I've been to
an LC in a long time.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
The difference between I feel like the Tri State and
then where I grew up in the New England area
is that every corner of Boston in an Massachusetts has
like mom and pop, corner shop pizza places, Billie's Pizza,
Uncle Buck's Pizza, Northeast Pizza, and I don't find that
is the case here. You've got your big ones right,
your chain pizza restaurant. So I was sourcing feedback from you.
(12:15):
Thank you so much for the talk back with Tiff.
When you search Kiss on the iHeart app, it's an
alternative way to contribute. You'll see the microphone on the
top right hand corner of the app if you want
to leave me a voice now. We also talked about
younger siblings and older siblings. This one thing was finally
proven true. You can get caught up on the podcast
(12:37):
on that and the pizza thing and all the stuff
we talk about every day when you search Tiff in
the morning on the iHeart Radio app at your leisure.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
Okay, good morning,
