Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up fifth in the morning, hun, kiss.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Good morning.
Speaker 3 (00:04):
It feels like we're at the point in this month
where our moods are based off of what the temperature
is when we leave the house in the morning. In
the last couple of days, we're brewed all today felt
a little bit better. I mean, don't get me wrong,
it's still cold out there, but twenty degrees is a
lot different than the four, five, and six with the
(00:26):
windshills that you've been feeling even below zero. If there's
a difference, not a lot, but it's definitely a difference.
And then I just caught the seventy four cast when
I was walking into the studio past the seven hundred
news room and I saw forty in there. I saw forty.
I think by this weekend, maybe we'll get to forty degrees.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
That's gonna feel like spring. I'm not kidding. I hope
you're off to a good start.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Thanks so much for the birthday celebrations and being a
part of yesterday's show. I had such a great day.
Thank you for your messages on social and text. I
appreciate you more than you know. I had a great night.
We'll spend more time on the one thing that happened
last night that I thought of immediately when I woke
up this morning. But overall, such a good night. I
(01:13):
had two different cakes. Cakes are like my favorite food group.
I love yellow cake with chocolate frosting. I had champagne.
I had my friends over. We ordered food, and we
just sat around my apartment in the warm coziness of
Mount Adams and had a great night.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
So I'm happy to be here.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
I will be having cake for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
for the next several days. Servati Chef's Kiss yellow cake
chocolate frosting. If you're a visual person, I'll put it
up on my stories. I always get sucked into the
tiktoks of people decorating cakes, So if you're that type
of person as well, pop over to social All right,
we are not far off from the three things you
(01:50):
need to know to get your day started.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
In Sincy.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
All of a sudden, there's like breaking concert news come
in our way today.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
I'll have that for you at six point fifty.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
The best way to keep listening to Tip in the
morning is by searching Kissuano seven one on the iHeartRadio app.
That way, you don't miss anything. Good morning, Lynn, you
need to know she's got you. It's three things with
tiff Well.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
We're just before seven o'clock and a little bit warmer
of a day. Temperatures are in the twenties. I'm starting
to see some forty degree weather move in for the weekend,
and that will most likely feel spring like after several
days of bitter cold weather. I'm still seeing videos of Pensacola,
Florida with tons of snow, snow on top of beach sand.
Just feels so odd to me. All right, let's start
(02:38):
off with the concert room airs. This news kind of
broke after the show yesterday that city officials, Bengals marketing
and ownership, and you know, Live Nation are all going
to make this big pay core summer concert announcement. Now,
in the year's past, we had Luke calmbs here in August,
(02:59):
we had Taylor Swift this season before that outside of
the Cincinnati Music Festival. As far as big names go,
and we've been throwing it around, you know here in
my group text. Some of my music background would have
me believe that Beyonce could be in the running for
something like this. She had just had that concert leak,
(03:20):
that announcement leak in Chicago at Soldiers Field. We knew
that she had some sort of announcement coming for the
fourteenth of this month, delayed with the wildfires, etc. So
in my eyes, it could be like a Beyonce or
maybe even a Gaga as far as stadiums go, I
think a stadium for Gaga might be a hair big.
But potentially then you go over to the rock world
people like maybe Billy Joel Right could be a good fit.
(03:43):
My gut was saying earlier that it could. It will
be in the country world again, maybe maybe not, but
Morgan Wallin is one of the bigger artists. I would
think that could sell out a stadium. He did Buckeye Stadium,
I think for two nights two summers ago, and that
was sold out. So we will learn more about that
at eleven o'clock, which means that we'll be circling back
(04:04):
on this in about twenty four hours. All right, Second,
in three things you need to know this morning, Bengals,
speaking of football, are in talks to replace lou Anna Marun,
our current defensive coordinator, with someone named Al Gold. Now
the name would sound familiar to you, if you recognize
(04:24):
him because he was our i think our line coach
when the Bengals went to the Super Bowl, did really well.
Left the Bengals went to Notre Dame essentially quote turned
their defense around. This coming from the guys at seven
hundred WLW when I had them debrief me on the situation,
and then coach ZT Rumor has it has just been
kind of waiting until Notre Dame's National championship run was
(04:48):
over to hire him back. That announcement also is set
to be made later on today when there's more on
that one. If it does come to fruition, although it's
really looking like it, I'll have more details for you.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
All right. And then lastly, in three things you need to.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Know this morning, Diddy has been going to work behind
bars at MDC Brooklyn, where he's still being held and
has been now for several months.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
It's crazy how quickly time passes.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
But he just filed a fifty million dollar defamation lawsuit
to a woman named Courtney Burgess, and the lawsuit names
a news publication as well known as News Nation, the
parent company of Nextstar. The two of them are being
sued for defamation to the tune of fifty million. Courtney
(05:36):
was subpoenaed by a federal prosecutor to testify in front
of the grand jury that would consider additional charges against Ditty,
then the ones he already faces for racketeering and sex traffick.
Game he wants fifty million. He's only named those two people.
I don't know if it's going to help him pay
for legal bills, but his lawyer had said, we're suing
(05:59):
these two people based off of outrageous lies to gain
fame and strip Ditty of his livelihood and access to
a fair trial. When there's more on that one, we
do know the Ditty trial is coming up in May.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
I will keep you posted.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
That is three things you need to know for January
twenty third, coming up at seven oh five per usual,
we're commercial free, so you can always access the show
through iHeartRadio when you type kiss one seven to one
into the search barm. And then we're also gonna chit
chat about the one thing that happened at.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
My birthday last night.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
That sh annoyed me and I had to actively actively
talk myself through it while I had an apartment full
of friends. I'll explain more because I think you might
also agree with me on this one.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
I don't think I'll stand alone on this all right,
so come on back to us. Like I said around
seven ten this morning, good morning.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Oooh.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
That is most certain a way to start off your
Thursday morning. I had to remind myself of that a
few times today that it is, in fact Thursday. The
week is passing by at a weird pace. You're waking
up with tip in the morning. When you type it
kiss one seven to one into the search bar of
our newly upgraded iHeartRadio app, you can lock in on
music like that and content conversation, et cetera. Thanks so
(07:21):
much for the birthday love and the birthday wishes. I
want to shout out Shelley Perkins. Shelley Perkins listens to
the show every morning, so if I'm catching you at
this time, good morning to you.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Thank you, I appreciate you.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Last night's birthday celebrations were just so much fun, so
silly that my little apartment in my neighborhood I just had,
you know, people that are in my inner circle there
for cake and champagne, I mean, turn in thirty five
and having cake and champagne for dinner.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Let's go.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
The one thing that I had just mentioned in our
six o'clock hour that bothered me though about the night.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Was I bit the bullet and I.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
Ordered Uber Eats because I thought it would be easier
to just get the food delivered. And it was delicious
shout out to Andy's Mediterranean love them on Gilbert, But
instead of going to pick it up, I delivered it
and I just have there's something about Uber Eats fees
that grind my gears and I can't be alone in this.
(08:21):
Are you ever like, Oh, I have an entire cart
of things that I'm ordering, but shipping and handling is
eight bucks.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
I'm not going to do it.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
I'm going to abandon my cart right or if this
app would be super helpful if you downloaded it, but
you've got to pay like a yearly fee of twenty
five bucks.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
You're like, nope, nope, what is it for you?
Speaker 3 (08:40):
It's junk fees on Uber that I just it always
grinds my gears. Contribute if you feel up to it.
Talk back with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app. When you
search Kiss one oh seven one, you'll see the microphone.
It's right next to the play line. Is there something
that you refuse to spend money on because of like
a fee or something.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
What is it for you?
Speaker 5 (09:00):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Good morning.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
You know one calendar year ago we were gearing up
for Usher at the Super Bowl halftime show, and now
it's Kendrick Lamar and I think it's going to be
here before we even know it. You're waking up with
Tiff in the morning on a kiss one zero seven
one commercial free. So if you're just walking into the conversation.
I had mentioned last night that it was my birthday
and I had such a great night, but there was
(09:21):
one part of the evening that really bothered me, and
that was when I ordered the food. There was like
a twenty dollars Uber Eats service charge, and I just
just like it, is.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
It anyone else out there?
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Like shipping and handling could be five dollars and I
will I know friends that will abandon their car.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
Good morning. You're on the air.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
Minus shipping fees. Oh not necessarily delivery feeds with shipping fees. Right,
So my husband thinks I'm crazy. I'm a teacher. Mine
classroom is stitch. I love Stitch. It's everywhere, the kids
love participating. I recently found a lamp. The lamp was
seven dollars and fifty cent cool shipping with eight ninety nine.
I didn't order it. My husband was like, just order it, and
(10:06):
I was like, I can't.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
It's principal.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
But your eight ninety nine principle is different than mine.
And when I when I tell you, what's your name,
by the way, what's your neighborhood?
Speaker 5 (10:15):
Lauren? Okay, Lauren, I'm in northern Kentucky.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Lauren, when I tell you that, I had to bite
my lip and press order. When I saw that the
Uber fee and service charge and whatever was an additional
twenty dollars from the food that I was ordering, I said, Tiffany,
do not be a cheap bess. It's your birthday. Get
the food. Your friends are here. But it was the fee,
and am I paying for the food? It was the fee.
Speaker 5 (10:40):
Well, I'm like, the thieves, don't bother me with that
stuff because I'm a almost three and sometimes it's survival
of the fittest.
Speaker 6 (10:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
And if that means pay livery fee to not have
to cook dinner, and I'm paying a delverfee to not
have to cook dinner.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Well, Lauren, I love that you called my show and
took the time out to chat with me this morning.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
I appreciate you more than you know.
Speaker 5 (10:59):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Wait quickly, I don't know what stitches? Can you just like?
What is it?
Speaker 5 (11:04):
And stitch? Oh?
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Okay? Okay, okay, Lee Low and Stich.
Speaker 5 (11:06):
A little blue alien from Leilo and Stitch.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
Okay, thank you. Appreciate you Lauren. All right, well, thanks
for validating me.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
I don't want to. I hope it doesn't come off
as complaining.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
It's lighthearted silliness, right, okay, coming up to Oh shoot,
I should have asked Lauren this. Coming up a couple
songs from now. Hey, if you're a parent, do you
have a favorite kid? I think you're a liar if
you say no, because I just found this article and
it's gonna.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
It's gonna open up your world. We'll get to that next.
Don't go far, Good morning.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Kiss.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
I was obsessed with that song over the summer. Doja
cats up for a couple of wards at our iHeart
Radio Music Awards. I'll have more on that than three things.
Coming up at seven fifty. We do that every day.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
At that time.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
Parents, are you willing to admit that this study is
correct and that you do, in fact, to a favorite
child or maybe a favorite grandchild. I feel like we're
gonna get some more admissions on that one than we
are the kids, cause if you say no, you're a liar,
a liar. I kind of feel like Regina George where
(12:16):
she's standing at the top of that corridor with her
you know, arms crossed and her foot out while it's
like chaos ensuing around her. That's kind of what this
conversation feels like to me. This study came out from
a university that does family planning, etc.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
And it basically admits that parents.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Do have a favorite child, and you know who it is.
It's the girls in the family. What slightly more favorable
than sons. Daughters get the treatment. Now, I'm not an
only child, but I have half siblings from different dads,
and we were never in the house at the same time.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Our age gaps are too big.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
I was never in school with my brother at the
same time, either of my brother so I don't I
don't know about this next piece, but the second part
of the study talks about, yes, younger siblings have it way, way,
way easier than the ogs the originals.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
The first the first round of kids, but it.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
Also mentions that the first the oldest siblings have a
little bit more autonomy and favoritism in a different way,
but younger siblings, it is now proven from this study,
have it easier than older siblings. You'll have to let
me know if you agree on this. Five one three, seven,
four nine, one oh seven one.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Do you have a favorite kid? I doubt we'll get
a call that says that, but maybe, but maybe, or
do you agree with this?
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Maybe you are sitting here right now as the older
sibling and you're like, yeah, it was jarring growing up
in my household as the older sibling while my younger
sibling just got away with murder. I never yeah, I
never had I never lived in a house with siblings.
But I always had a good relationship with both of
my parents, although they live in different states. My dad
(14:07):
lives in Massachusetts, my mom lives in Tampa, Florida, and
we've always just had a pretty quiet, chill family dynamic.
But my best friend, Casey, who has four siblings that
were pretty much all in high school at the same time,
when I go to that house, I was, in fact
(14:27):
Regina George five one three seven, four nine one oh
seven one. Do you agree yes or no with the
favoritism in the family?
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Good morning.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
I also love that song too, maybe because of a
TikTok it had a research in. So you're waking up
with sip in the morning on Kiss one oh seven
one commercial free for the rest of the hour, Are
you willing to admit that you have a favorite child?
So this is a study I was just talking about.
If you're walking into the conversation here this morning, the
answers yeah, and the answer also says that younger siblings
(14:58):
have it way easier than and the older siblings.
Speaker 7 (15:01):
Yes, not only do I have a favorite child, but
I have a favorite grandchild.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
Ah.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
I knew someone would admit and I actually will Well,
I didn't think that someone would admit that they had
a favorite child, but I was thinking we'd get someone
that admitted they had a favorite grandchild and they would
go we had both.
Speaker 7 (15:19):
I truly don't have a favorite child. Rather, probably through
the years it was more of the least favorite child,
depending on where they were developmentally, what age they were at,
and certainly it would change from child to child if
they were being especially difficult.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Well, thank you for the talk back with tiff.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
Guys, when you search kiss one O seven one on
the iHeartRadio app, there's a microphone. It's right in the top.
It's in the top right hand corner of the app.
You hold that down and it's like leaving me a
voice to know. I check them all. I check them
all day long. We get them all the time. We
got time for one mo lot.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
I think the book end is accurate, the youngest and
the oldest being the favorite, at least in my family.
And I think this study talking about females being favored
a little bit more is because the females end up
caring for and taking care of their parents, whether it
be moving in visit them and nursing homes, and sons
(16:12):
just don't do that as often.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
Ah, you make a good point there about care and whatnot.
I'm dealing with that myself because my dad and I
have been working on our estate, et cetera. Granted I'm
an only child of his, I do have half siblings
from different dads. There's one thing that we can all
agree on. Family dynamics are complicated.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Good morning.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
I think older siblings everywhere in Cincinnati in the Tri
state area are like yep, But I definitely definitely went
through war before my younger siblings got here and did
whatever they wanted.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
If you're just.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Walking into Tiff in the morning, HI might be the
first voice you're hearing of the day.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Kiss one O seven one here.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
There was a family planning study that came out and
said that parents number one do play favorites and number
two younger siblings have it way easier than older ones.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Good morning.
Speaker 6 (17:04):
Hi.
Speaker 8 (17:04):
I'm the oldest of five girls, and I was not
allowed to do anything. I was not allowed to go
on a spring break when I was a senior. My sister,
on the other hand's ten years younger than me. By
the time she went on spring break with her friends,
my dad was loading the beer into the back of
the vein m So definitely a difference.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
I love glad, Good.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Day you too, you too, Good morning kiss one No.
Seven one. I'm back with you. Thanks for holding I did.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
I just wanted to say that I do not have
a favorite child.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
I have two boys. Can't go okay, but my older.
Speaker 8 (17:44):
Son is the guinea pig is what we like to call.
Speaker 5 (17:47):
It, because he was a guinea pig for everything.
Speaker 8 (17:49):
First, the second one does get it easier for sure.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Okay, so you do admit that. What's your name? By
the way, with neighborhoody waking up with me.
Speaker 5 (17:55):
And Alicia and I'm in Corey.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
Thanks for the call, Alicia. I appreciate you.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
Gal kiss one oh seven one, good morning, Go ahead,
you're on the air.
Speaker 6 (18:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (18:03):
So about the kids and favorites, I have five daughters,
so I do not have a favorite.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
They all take their terms each day. Okay.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
I was gonna say, you mean to tell me right
now that you don't really have a favorite, wink wink,
But the fact that they switch it out daily makes sense.
What's your name? What neighborhood you waking up with? Man
j Yeah, we heard from everywhere today. We were all
over the math Kentucky sincey. I haven't heard from any
Indiana yet, but I'm sure we'll get there all right.
Commercial free, you're still more than welcome to contribute to
(18:36):
the conversation. Coming up two songs from now, we're going
to dive in to the three things you need to
know to get your day started.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
In Sincy.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
I've got some body cam footage from the Joe Burrow
Burglary Suspects.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
I'll play that in more coming up next.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
And if I caused any chaos in the car this morning. Parents,
where you have to admit who's your favorite child? I'm
really sorry about that.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip on.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
Well, good morning, good morning, we're just before eight o'clock.
At eight thirty, iive of your chance to win Nellie
Jah Rule and Eve tickets for warmer times this summer
at River Bend, So don't go far. Let's start off
with the bodycam footage that came out yesterday.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Four suspects.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
Who allegedly broke into several mansions, one of those being
Joe Burrows. Now hasn't been proved yet, but timeline wise,
one happened on December ninth. That was the day that
Joe Burrow's home was burglarized. I have the bodycam footage
of the four Chilean nationals that were pulled over by
(19:48):
the Ohio State Patrol.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
How many is that there?
Speaker 6 (19:52):
Where you are?
Speaker 1 (19:53):
Can you crack that for out?
Speaker 10 (19:55):
I've heard you to crack it for me?
Speaker 1 (19:59):
Doing you guys?
Speaker 6 (20:02):
How about you fellas?
Speaker 1 (20:02):
You just got an idea? Where are you doing?
Speaker 3 (20:11):
He had gone on to ask them to get out
of the car. They searched the trunk, and in the
trunk that's where you see the footage of the LSU
T shirt and the Bengals hat.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
When there's more on that one, I'll have it for you.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
I also think you might like this miked up audio
of Joe Burrow that the Bengals released yesterday.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Here's a clip.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
That was pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
Oh, we are receiving.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Get in the middle of the field.
Speaker 11 (20:35):
Bro get in the middle of.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
The field and then let him get on. Yeah, the
last play the game.
Speaker 3 (20:42):
Hearing a giddy, excited Joe Burrow makes me giggle. All
right a second in Three things you need to know
this morning. Our iHeartRadio Music Award nominees were announced yesterday.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
The show is happening on March seventeenth.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
UH ten nominations for Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallin, and nine
nominations for Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone and Sabrina Carpenter. Song
of the Year I think this is gonna be a
tough one. Shaboozi Agora Hills by Doja Cat, Beautiful Things
Espresso Greedy, I Had Some Help Lose Control, Levin on
(21:16):
Me by Jack Carlow Not Like Us in Too Sweet.
That's gonna be a tough category. And then Artists of
the Year Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll, Kendrick Lamar,
Morgan Wallin, Posty, Sabrina, Sizza, Taylor and Teddy Swims are
all up for nominations again at Our Our iHeartRadio Music Awards,
happening on March seventeenth. Now, speaking of awards shows, Grammys
(21:41):
are happening February second, but there's rumors swirmling that some
of the nominations and the winners, rather not the nominations
the winners have been leaked Beyonce and Billy. Some are
saying either Beyonce or Billie Eilish are gonna win Album
of the Year. I could I very much see Billy
winning it, and I would love for her to do
(22:02):
that because that album was great. Also talking about some
snubs for Taylor Swift's Tortured Poets Department. We'll see what
comes to fruition when when the Grammy's actually happened on
February second. A lot I've been talking to the music
labels and et cetera, and some of my music meetings
here for the station. A lot, if not all, music
(22:23):
labels have canceled a lot of their Grammy parties to
put that money towards fire relief in California. By the way,
another fire smarked up yesterday, and that concert fire aid
that I've been talking about the last week or two
will happen right here live on Kiss January thirtieth. Okay,
all right, And then lastly, very quickly, in three things
(22:43):
you need to know this morning, King's Island has set
their new opening date for twenty twenty five. It is
April nineteenth, something to look forward to. That is three
things you need to know for the twenty third of
January coming up. Like I said, around eight thirty, your
first chance of the day to wind though Nellie jar
Rule and Eve tickets, so don't go far. The best
(23:04):
way to keep listening to kissue oh seven one is
on the iHeartRadio app Good Morning. I love that song
if you're an OG listener of my show. I often
use that song when I don't feel like dealing with
the haters and I feel like my last conversation in
our seven o'clock hour might bring up some hate.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
You're waking up with Tip in the morning on kissue
oh seven one.
Speaker 3 (23:26):
No, if you're just walking into stuff here, we're commercial
free for the rest of the hour. And I was
just talking about a family planning study that came out
and said parent number one, parents do have favorites, and
number two it is now proven true that younger siblings.
We have data now younger siblings have it way easier
(23:46):
than older siblings. My friend Laney, probably dropping her kids
off at school, send me this text, she goes, don't
forget that your parents are also richer by the time
that younger kids come around, so there's just less financial discipline.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
Agree. My parents had firm rules about how long I
had to wait to replace items, especially skis. I remember
buying a pair of skis off my best friend because
it hadn't been long enough. I hadn't reached the ten
year point yet. So my baby brother, who's ten years
younger than I am, got a second snowboard in the
(24:24):
same year just because he.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Didn't like the print in the pattern on it.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
We're gonna move on from that, but you are still
more than welcome to contribute. When you talk back with
tiff on iHeartRadio, I check your voice notes. The microphone's
right in the top right hand corner. All right, coming
up at eight thirty, you will need the keyword pizza
to win the Nelly Jaw rule in Eve tickets.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
I'll explain why in three minutes.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. H kiss
one morning?
Speaker 2 (24:57):
Who does not like pizza? Stand up show yourself? I
love pizza. I love it, I love it. I love it.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
That is the keyword you're gonna need, by the way,
for the job rule, Nelly and I keep wanting to
say a shanty, but it's Eve coming to River Bend
this summer. You're gonna need a keyword pizza if you
want to win those tickets in like ten or so minutes.
This is the second study that I've talked about on
my show today.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
We're just very knowledgeable on the show this morning.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
According to this thing here that caught my eye, the
pizza that you like as a kid is most likely
the pizza you're still.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
Eating today, Yes or no?
Speaker 3 (25:38):
Maybe not the same like that school high school cafeteria
square cut pizza that was sometimes undercooked in the middle.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
I mean, am I still going for that one?
Speaker 11 (25:48):
No?
Speaker 2 (25:49):
But am I still going?
Speaker 3 (25:50):
It brings back memories, but I am still going for
a cheese pizza.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
I love a good cheese.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
I mean I like to jazz it up a little bit,
right with pepper flakes and parmesan. But there's something about
when that Italian style, by the way, is where I
like Italian style pizza. So the Goodfellows would probably be
the closest thing to good pizza that I'm used to
getting up in New England, when that first bite where
(26:18):
you fold the pizza in half with your hand, love it.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
Love it.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
I also like.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
I have upgraded my style a little bit too, like
peppers and onions and veggies, and like banana peppers on
a pizza I love so so so much. Sarah grabbed
the mic real quick. You know she comes in at
least once a day. The true or false, the pizza
that you like as a child is still most likely
the pizza that you're ordering today.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
Uh yeah, pepperoni, You're a pep gal.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
Yeah. But if I'm gonna do something adult ish with.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
My pizza, is that a word?
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Like I'm adding jalapinos, peppers, mushrooms like a little jam. Yeah,
oh yeah, a good jam.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
I actually haven't gone on and I don't know why
it's been. You know, I lived here for six or
so years. I have not gone on a Cincinnati or
I should say, Tri State Pizza tour.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Hmm, yeah, I would ten out of ten recommend that
I've never met a pizza I don't like. But my
favorite all time Mariachi beef from Donado's Tomatoes Jalapinos spicy
sausage beef.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
Thin.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
It's thin, right, thinner crust, you.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
Dip it in the sour cream. So good.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (27:35):
Where else though, outside of Lorosis, which I've had at
every race I've run, nothing tastes better than a slice
of Lerosi's pizza when I get off of a like
a six mile run after a race.
Speaker 6 (27:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
But but if I'm if I want to order like pizza,
where am I going? Where am I going? Outside of
that stuff?
Speaker 6 (27:53):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (27:53):
You know?
Speaker 4 (27:53):
We were just at Max the other day in Mainstras.
They've got some good pizza. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
Good, good place to watch some football.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
Five and three seven, four nine one O seven one
or talk back with Tiff. I obviously know the big
the big leagues, the big players here, But what are
the ones that I don't know about that I need
to try for pizza.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
I love that song.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
Okay, Cincinnati, not one person has stood up for what
it is that they love about the pizza in the
city and where they're going. I haven't got a single
caller talk back with tip You're waking up with TIF
in the morning on Kiss one oh seven one, And
the reason why I'm throwing shade you away, I'm just kidding,
I'm not uh. This study said that the pizza that
(28:35):
you like as a kid is most likely still the
pizza that you're eating today and you haven't changed much
about it, which led to the conversation of Okay, if
I'm going to do a pizza tour in the tri
State to figure out which one is my favorite, where
should I go? I haven't gotten anywhere so far. Shout
out to Ben though, one of my friends and a
(28:56):
friend of the show. He said that Mariachi beef from
Denado's got them through college, So I've heard of the
big players like Donado's, Lorosa's. If I have to choose
right now, I'm going a Good Fellas. If my friend
Allison was listening, she'd call and tell me about Jets
because I think the ranch there is really famous. Right
(29:16):
If you get the Jets. You gotta get the Jets ranch.
Where else am I missing? I want to know that,
like the corner Pizza, the corner store pizza shops, and
maybe that doesn't exist here. Back in Massachusetts and in
the Boston area, every corner you turned there was like
Billy Bob Billy Bob's Pizza, or you know, Uncle Bill's Pizza,
(29:36):
or Northeast Pizza or this pizza. I don't haven't really
come across that. The one I have yet to try
that gets a ton of hype in my neighborhood is
your Mom's Pizza in Mount Adams. Haven't tried that. You'll
have to let me know, by the way, if you
haven't picked up on it yet. Pizza is the keyword
you're gonna need to win the Jah Rule, Nelly and
(29:58):
Eve tickets coming up next.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one O seven to one.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
HI, good morning.
Speaker 3 (30:10):
If you have the keyword that I mentioned earlier, you
can start dialing now for the Nelly, Jaw Rule and
Eve tickets five one, three, seven, nine one seven one
collar ten.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
Good luck.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
If you're just walking into this, we were talking about pizza spots.
The pizza that you ate as a kid, according to
this thing I read, is still the pizza that you're
probably consuming today. Not a lot of people change it out.
So I said, okay, well where am I going for pizza?
In the trice day. I haven't really explored our pizza
scene that much, so I'm getting your feedback.
Speaker 10 (30:42):
So huge pizza person. Me and my husband got matching
pizza tattoos. So take this for what it's worth. Personally,
Petrino's here in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, hands down probably one
of my favorite pizzas. Specifically, they're chicken bacon ranch. It's phenomenal.
Other than that, Strongs in Newport is also very very good,
(31:03):
and Taglio and Columbia Tusclaw a top three.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
Thank you for the talkback with Tiff.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
When you search a kiss on the iHeart radio app,
the microphones in the top right corner, you can hold
that down to do voice notes.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
There are multiple ways to get in touch. That is
one way.
Speaker 3 (31:17):
I'm so glad someone brought up Taglios because I do
love that. I've gone to the one in OTR quite
a bit. Thank you for reminding me of that one.
The other two I will add to my list. I
also want to have a late night slice Mikey's Late
night Slice? Am I saying that right? I want to
have that experience as well. Okay, you guys are great again.
Caller ten, Hopefully you picked up on the hint of
the what the keyword is for the tickets to Nelly?
(31:41):
Five one three seven four nine one oh seven one.
I have one open phone line left if you want
to call for the tickets.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
You're waking up with Tim in the morning on Kiss
one O seven to one.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
All right, speaking up, Jah Rule, he's coming with Nelly.
Nelly's coming to Cincinnati for like the third time in
a year during warmer days this summer at Riverband, I've
been giving away tickets every morning with a keyword around
eight thirty ish. So let's hope that you, my friend,
have the keyword, uh pizza.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
Congratulations. You're a collar ten and you got the tickets.
Speaker 10 (32:13):
Awesome.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
You're going to see Nellie and joh Rule and it's
going to be a time during warmer days this summer
at riverbend.
Speaker 6 (32:21):
Awful.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
What's your name with neighborhood? You waking up with men?
Speaker 11 (32:24):
My name is Matt and I am apparently downtown Cincinnati.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
Oh Matt, okay, Well, why you're I have got you
on the phone. What's your pizza recommendation?
Speaker 5 (32:32):
Ah, I'm always good with.
Speaker 8 (32:36):
Good follows down in Cadent.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
Yeah, I've been going there for years after her weekend.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
Nights, especially after a few couple of adult beverages. Well, congratulations,
I'm going to put you on hold if you took
an L on these tickets. I'll have more tomorrow for
our Friday show at eight thirty. If you want to
set a reminder to get up with Tiff in the
morning on Siri? Do you want to hear a quick
funny pizza story from my college day? So in Boston,
(33:01):
I was Saint Patrick's Day is the biggest. I think
it might be the biggest holiday in the city. Bars
are packed, there's always lines. It's probably similar to going
to Chicago if you've gone up there for Saint Patrick's Day.
I have not, but I would think it's comparable. I
was in an area near the TD Garden and if
you're waiting for me to say it in my Boston accent,
(33:23):
which I'm sure you are, the TD Garden. We were
there and there's this bar called the Greatest Ba and
it's like four floors and there's always a wicked long
line to get into bars on Saint Patrick's Day. But
right next to the Greatest Bar there was this little
pizza shop. And New England is full of little corner
mom and pop pizza shops all over the place, so
(33:47):
especially in the North End area and the Garden area,
all the restaurants are small and tight, and right next
to the Garden is this small and tight pizza shop.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
And we went in to get a snack.
Speaker 3 (33:58):
And there's a really long line the Greatest Bar and
we can't get in and I'm talking there's like three
or four barstools and you order and that's pretty much it.
So me being me, I say to the chef back there,
I said, hey, we really need to use your bathroom.
You can imagine having to go to bathroom in the
city of Boston and they're being like sixty people in line,
(34:19):
and he was like, we don't have one. We go
to the Greatest Bar when we need to use the bathroom.
I said, give me your apron. He's like, okay, dude,
gave me his apron. And I walked right into that
bar and I used the bathroom, and I walked right
back out and gave that apron, that same apron to
three or four of my girlfriends who were with me.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
And let me tell you ingenuity at its finest. All right,
Commercial three.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
A couple of minutes from now, we'll dive into the
three things you need to know to get your day
started in Sincy. Or for my dad who is in Boston,
when you need to.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
Know, she's got you, it's three things with TIF.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
Well, good morning, good morning. Just before nine o'clock.
Speaker 3 (35:01):
At nine oh five, I have your first chance of
the day to win one thousand bucks, So don't go far.
I'm sure it'll come in handy with whatever amount of
money you just spent on your heating bill for the
last week or so. We're not going to spend a
lot of time on it. But I did read this
morning that a delegation from Cincy is on its way
to Utah at the start of the Sundance Film Festival,
(35:22):
and I'm hoping that they do enough hustling and schmoozing
out there that we end up.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
Getting it here. Because Cincinnati is.
Speaker 3 (35:29):
In the running to get the next round of Sundance
Film Festival.
Speaker 2 (35:32):
I will keep you in the loop on that one.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
What we are going to start off with, though, is
concert information and an announcement. So city leaders, people from
pay Corps, people from Live Nation are set to announce
a concert for pay Core Stadium at eleven o'clock today. Speculation.
You know, My opinion is that Beyonce'd be a really
good fit for this. I had already talked about how
(35:55):
one of her concerts was leaked early last week. She
had a big announcement that she delayed due to the wildfires. Right,
thought she might be a good fit for that. She
didn't come anywhere near us during the first round of
Coyleboy Carter. I also thought that Morgan Wallen would be
a good fit for Cincinnati. He sold out Buckeye Stadium
two nights two years ago. We'll see what actually comes
(36:15):
to fruition. It could be someone in the rock world,
and I'll have that for you tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
But that announcement is.
Speaker 3 (36:20):
Set to come out at eleven o'clock now, this cno.
Once a year we get some big acts, right Luke
Combs last year, Taylor Swift the year before. Second in
three things you need to know this morning, what's the
deal with the Brent Spence Bridge. Well, first of all,
what's the deal with four seventy one? Shout out to
all of our construction workers, really city workers, and anyone
(36:41):
that has an outside job. I mean the fact that
you're still out there hustling to get four seventy one fixed.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
It is a war out there with mother Nature.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
But nonetheless, now that President Trump has signed a slew
of executive orders, what does it mean for the rebuilding
of the Brent Spence Bridge. My guy Lee Mawen is
here from seven hundred. He's gonna talk about it real quick.
You'll hear his voice. Essentially, Governor Mike DeWine is like, relax,
We're gonna be fine.
Speaker 12 (37:05):
November twenty twenty one, previous President Joe Biden signed the
Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, giving Ohio and Kentucky
over one and a half billion dollars for the corridor.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine stated that executive order was instead
focused on Green New Deal electric vehicle and climate change
subsidies WLWS. Matt Reese reached out to Matt Brooding, who replied,
(37:26):
ODA has no reason to believe the federal funding for
the Prince Spence Bridge is in jeopardy. Allmark is progressing
as planned on this vital corridor project.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
Ailey Mount, thank you, Lee, my guy, Lee. I don't know.
I just I feel like it's gonna be forever and
will it ever come? Well, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
When there's more on that, you know, I'll take care
of you. Lastly, in three things you need to know
in Sync Reunited, Okay, relax, it's not the reunion tour
that I've been hoping for, but justin Timberlake US performing
when pretty much all of the bandmates except Joey.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
Fatone, we're in the audience.
Speaker 6 (38:06):
Here is.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
Hello, Hello? Are we okay? What's going on here?
Speaker 5 (38:14):
Hello? There?
Speaker 8 (38:18):
Very tonight.
Speaker 1 (38:23):
They were smarter and left Joey at home.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
That is three things you need to know. Will we
ever get a in sync reunion tour?
Speaker 2 (38:32):
I don't know. Maybe that's coming to pay Corps at eleven?
Oh my god? Can you imagine? All right?
Speaker 3 (38:37):
That is three things you need to know for January
twenty third. I hope you're off to a good star,
a little bit warmer out there than it has been.
I do have your chance to go, I have your
chance to win a thousand bucks. Maybe you want to
fly out to Miami or something coming around nine oh five.
The best way to keep listening to Tiff in the
Morning is when you search Kiss one O seven one
on the iHeartRadio app. WHOA, I love love that song.
(38:58):
It reminds me of that Pre's Harry meme. If you know,
you know, I hope you've seen it. I don't come
off as like a crazy person right now. Speaking of
Prince Harry, he just settled that lawsuit he had with
British tabloids.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
I just saw that news. You're waking up with TIF
in the morning on Kiss one oh seven one. Hi,
you're on the air.
Speaker 11 (39:16):
Hi, What number do I dial when I call in
for you know, to win prizes or sings this one?
Speaker 1 (39:24):
Oh?
Speaker 11 (39:25):
Okay, you're right witch, five minutes.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
I'm on it right now. Yeah, you're on it. It's
me and you gal, you're talking to Tiff in the morning.
Oh hello, good morning.
Speaker 10 (39:33):
Well.
Speaker 11 (39:33):
I love your face, and I love everything guys do
and all the hard work you do every day, And
every time I want to call, I don't have your
number in my phone and I want to, you know,
call you fast so I can win something.
Speaker 2 (39:46):
I want to win something.
Speaker 3 (39:47):
Heck, yeah, I want to send good good juju your way. Well,
this is a great way to contribute. And yes, the
phone number is five one three seven four nine one
oh seven one, and I'm the one that answers the calls.
Speaker 11 (39:57):
And right, you're awesome, Thank you so much.
Speaker 5 (39:59):
You're well.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
Can I ask whether you have Netflix or not?
Speaker 6 (40:02):
I do not?
Speaker 3 (40:03):
Okay, Yeah, you and I are on the same page
about this, and I don't think I'm gonna download it
after finding out what I just read about ten minutes ago.
Speaker 2 (40:10):
I'll get to that next week.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
I'll let's do a quick song and then I'll come
back to me three minutes to get the rest of
the info.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
All right, sounds great, great, perfect timing. Yeah, I said,
this is why I don't have Netflix. I'm over it.
We'll get to it right after Shaboozi.
Speaker 1 (40:27):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. Huh kiss,
good morning.
Speaker 3 (40:31):
While Shaboozie was playing, I got the Oscar nominations list.
I'm gonna give give me like ten seconds because I
have to talk about the Netflix thing, and then we'll
get to them. I had just mentioned that there is
a story coming out about Netflix. This morning that they're
raising their prices again. Dude, I am over Netflix. I
haven't used it since they changed password shaaring, and I
(40:52):
felt like anytime I did get a chance to jump
on it, the concept was okay, their renewing Love is
Blind for two more cs. But I just think there's
nothing that's drawing me to Netflix. That's why I always
recommend Apple TV. It's nine to ninety nine, it's ad free.
They only put out high quality, high content things. Severance
(41:13):
season two second episode comes out tomorrow. If you know
you know, highly recommend that, One, highly recommends Silo, highly
recommend Shrinking and Loot.
Speaker 2 (41:22):
There's so many good shows. But Netflix is raising.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
Their price to eighteen bucks a month for their ad free.
That feels like a lot. Eighteen dollars is a lot.
We were talking about subscription fees, et cetera and all
that in our seven o'clock hour.
Speaker 2 (41:37):
I didn't even think about streaming.
Speaker 3 (41:41):
Eight bucks a month for their ad The ones with ads,
I'll leave you.
Speaker 2 (41:47):
I'll leave that to you.
Speaker 3 (41:48):
White Loatus also getting a season four, but I think
that's an HBO Max show, all right. Oscar nominations came out.
The top headline says that Amelia Perez, The Brutalist, and
Wicked are all at the top of the nominations. Thirteen
for Amelia Perez, I've never seen it. That's the movie
with Selena Gomez. The Brutalist and Wicked both have ten each.
(42:12):
Best Picture, The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown Dune Part two,
Amelia Perez, Wicked, Substance, Nickel Boys, I'm still here.
Speaker 2 (42:22):
Some of these I've never heard of.
Speaker 3 (42:24):
Best Actor Timothy Shalome, Adrian Brody, a few others. Best
Actress Cynthia Arivo is in the nomination category for Wicked,
but Ariana Grande is not. Ariana Grande is in Supporting Actress.
Speaker 2 (42:42):
All right, They're.
Speaker 3 (42:44):
Happening in March, hosted by Conan O'Brien. Coming up next
the Daily Debrief. What is the top pizza spot in
the Tri State? We'll get to that one.
Speaker 1 (42:53):
You're working enough, Good morning.
Speaker 3 (42:56):
Today's Daily Debrief was really hard to put together. I
don't know normally have this heart of a time choosing
the one big thing that we talked about.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
There were multiple things.
Speaker 3 (43:05):
But we got a lot of talkbacks that we didn't
get a chance to get to in the moment about
Cincinnati or I guess, let's say the Tri State's top
pizza places.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
So let's do that.
Speaker 3 (43:17):
If you're just walking into the conversation every day around
this time, I choose the one big thing, and then
we revisited and give you a chance, especially if you're
just starting your day, to be involved in the community
and the content in the conversation. I had read something
that the pizza you like as a child is most
likely the pizza you're still eating today with very little variation,
(43:38):
and I had asked, where are the spots in the
Tri State that we're getting pizza at?
Speaker 2 (43:42):
I don't know.
Speaker 9 (43:43):
So there's a couple of pizza places I actually haven't tried,
but I've hurdered really good kind Silver Glades, which is
super random, Rascatti's or Rascani's Pizza. It's near barrou I'm
going to back up mash Galizza Pub, so good, okay.
And as far as like the pizza eat as a kid,
I do sell tender sick with cheese, but I like pepperoni,
(44:06):
banana peppers, and I've actually even grown.
Speaker 3 (44:09):
Oh well, you got cut off there. Thank you for
the talk back with Tiff. That was a whole lot
to add to my list Rasconi's. I have yet to
go in, and I do know what you're talking about.
It is on the corner of Baru there.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
What else, Hey, Tiff, good morning, I'm a cold cold beer, guys.
Morning through Cities. Pizza is pretty good in Mason on
Main Street.
Speaker 3 (44:27):
Oh okay, God, I'm going to add these to my list.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
Yeah one more time.
Speaker 5 (44:32):
Okay, hear me out for some good pizza. Little Caesars
Deep dish Pepperoni, look.
Speaker 2 (44:38):
So good, Little Caesars.
Speaker 3 (44:40):
The difference between I've been to an LC in a
long time.
Speaker 6 (44:44):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (44:45):
The difference between I feel like the Tri State and
then where I grew up in the New England area
is that every corner of Boston and Massachusetts has like
mom and pop, corner shop, pizza places, Billy's Pizza, Uncle
Buck's Pizza, Northeast Pizza. And I don't find that is
the case here. You've got your big ones right, your
chain pizza restaurant. So I was sourcing feedback from you.
(45:08):
Thank you so much for the talk back with Tiff.
When you search kiss on the iHeart app, it's an
alternative way to contribute. You'll see the microphone on the
top right hand corner of the app if you want
to leave me a voice now. We also talked about
younger siblings and older siblings. This one thing was finally
proven true. You can get caught up on the podcast
(45:30):
on that and the pizza thing and all the stuff
we talk about every day when you search Tiff in
the morning on the iHeart Radio app at your leisure.
Speaker 2 (45:38):
Okay, good morning,
