Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Kiss good morning, and let's get it out the way now,
Happy Friday. The weather is supposed to be better this weekend.
We're talking forties.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
And that is a much needed respite. Respite.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Okay, I uh, my best friend told me that she
had been taking peppermint oil to sleep, and I guess
it's a remedy of some sort, right. She's like, sure,
I'll try this, but it's been causing her to have
really vivid, intense dreams.
Speaker 4 (00:36):
Now.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
I am always curious about health remedy, so I was like, oh,
you know, maybe next time I'm around like a Whole
Foods or something, I'll buy some peppermint oil.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Haven't done that.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yet because I typically have vivid dreams without any substances.
So last night, and maybe this all stem from a
conversation that we had earlier this week about house hunting.
I had a dream that the apartment complex that I
live in had this secret top floor hot tub.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
And when I tell you, I was mad in my dream.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
I woke up mad. How did I not know that
this whole experience was here? I mean, I'm not even
talking just a hot tub. There was like a lap
pool as well. Now that it's coming back, you know what.
The other thing in the apartment that really blew my
mind is that they had in unit laundry.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
And I was like, are you kidding me?
Speaker 2 (01:33):
I've been house hunting for a year with those items
and it's been in my apartment complex this entire time. Now,
granted it was a dream, but I woke up feeling
that this was very real. I have had a dreams
expert on my show before, but I'd be curious to
find another. And I mean it's very early on a
Friday morning, so I doubt that anyone listening right now
(01:53):
is a dreams expert. But if that is the case,
shoot me a message at the Tiff two F's Potter
Like the Wizard also mentioned last week how emotions can
be so real in a dream that when you come
out of the dream, it takes you a couple of
minutes to get settled. And that is so true when
it comes to being angry at your significant other for
(02:14):
something that happened to you in a dream. It's been
a while since I've had that one, but you'll have
to let me know if that's been the case for
you as well. The iHeartRadio AP is a great place
to go as you go about your Friday morning. When
you search kiss one oh seven one, you can talk
back with Tiff and the microphone is at the top
right hand corner. You just hold that down. It's very easy.
It's like leaving me a voicema, a voicemo. Once you
(02:36):
do it, once, you're good to go. Because coming up
at six fifty, I have the three things you need
to know to get your day started and Sincy.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
I don't want to say I'm disappointed.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
I'm not, but I was like, oh, okay, when we
heard the announcement yesterday, I'll about Cincinnati. I'll have that
of course, and a few others and three things coming
up next.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Good morning when you need to know, She's got you.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Three things with tip.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
We're just before seven o'clock on this Friday, and Mother
Nature treating us to a little gift this weekend. We'll
see highs in the forties, much different than.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
What we have been dealing with.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Temperatures right now only at thirteen degrees and even in
the single digits with the windshill. Highs only in the
twenties today. But we'll make some improvements for the weekend.
And then dare I say if I'm looking ahead at
the weather app on my iPhone, which I have a
very toxic relationship with anyways, but it says fifty degrees
by next Saturday. Who knows what will happen, But maybe
we're rounding out the end of January with a little
(03:35):
bit better of weather. All Right, speaking of better weather,
let's start off with the major announcement that did come
out at eleven o'clock yesterday. I don't want to say
I'm not disappointed, but I definitely didn't think it was
gonna be Billy Joel. If you happen to miss it, Yes,
Billy Joel and Rod Stewart are coming to pay Core
Stadium on Saturday, September twenty if.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Now, our city loves to just pack it all in
in one weekend.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
It's the same as Octoberfest and the Reds are home.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
It's nothing we haven't done before.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Actually, most major concerts that happened at Great American there's
usually like a Bengals game or something happening right alongside it.
It was the same as last year as well with
Luke Combs. So tickets go on sale Friday, January thirty first,
at ten am. There is a pre sale on Wednesday,
January twenty ninth. You'll see tickets in the sixties, depending
(04:25):
on where you want to sit. They'll obviously go up
from there, and then of course the dreaded ticket Master fee.
But yeah, Billy Joel is making his way to Cincy
this time.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
I mean, or you might know him from this version
as well.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
Bye and start at the fire.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
It was always burning.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
It's a lot returning right and started the fire, Yeah,
it was always.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
I heard it. I'm dead. I am dead.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
I really thought it was gonna be Beyonce or Morgan Wallen,
but you never know, all right.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
That is the first I guess.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Out of a few and three things we're gonna get too.
Second also came out towards the back end of yesterday's show,
the Oscar nominations. They were delayed due to the California wildfires.
But It's award season is always so funny to me
because it shows you all the movies that you've literally
never heard of, like Amelia Perez. That's the one with
Selena Gomez has the most nominations with thirteen.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
And I didn't even see it. In theater. I didn't
even see it.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
I haven't seen it and I go to the movie
theaters almost weekly, so that was surprising to me. The
other big ones are The Brutalist and Wicked, both scoring ten.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Now.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
I don't have a list of snubs yet. I'm working
on that. But the big one for our world is
the fact that Cynthia Arrivo was nominated for Best Actress
and Ariana Grande was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in Wicked.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Here's a little clip. Oh sorry, no, that was Ryan
started the fire. Here we go my first audition. Strangely,
I sang for both. I don't know why.
Speaker 6 (06:14):
I think we all kind of knew why I was.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
Going in, and it was for Glinda.
Speaker 6 (06:19):
I care so deeply about Wicked that I didn't want
this if it meant I weren't right for it, because
I wanted the reason why I landed this role to
be performance based. I wanted to earn it, and I
had a deep sense that if I'm not right for this,
that's okay, but I want to give it my absolute all.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
She earned this, overcoming her own shadow to do this.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
I feel like that quote from Ari was really impactful.
That I loved this so much that if I wasn't
right for it, I was okay with that. And I
feel like that is truly how you know you are
made for something is when you feel so grounded and
so at peace with whatever happens that it really is
(07:07):
meant for you. And that is so true. What's meant
for you will not pass you by and anything. She
did post on Instagram, picking up my head in between
sobs to say thank you so much to the Academy
for this unfathomable recognition.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
I cannot stop crying. To no one's surprise.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
I'm humbled and deeply honored to be in such a
brilliant company and sharing this with tiny Ari, who sat
and studied Judy Garland singing Somewhere over the Rainbow just
before the big beautiful bubble entered. I'm so proud of you,
tiny Ari, and thank you again from the bottom of
my heart. She did go on to thank the director
and of course her co star Cynthia or Revo. I
(07:43):
really hope that Ariana Grande gets the Oscar. I thought
she was designed and made for that role, and I
also hope that Cynthia gets it as well. But snubs
the big one that I saw in there. Names wise,
Denzel Washington for Gladiator.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
I thought that movie was good. I don't know if
it was necessarily Oscar worthy.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
And then Challengers was not up there at all, but
that's a movie I didn't get a chance to see.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
That was one that I haven't caught yet.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
Those are really the only two names that I saw
that I thought maybe worthy of recognition.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
I think that's it on the OSCARS front.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Lastly, in three Things You Need to Know this Morning,
Kendrick Lamar made the announcement yesterday that Sizza will be
joining him for the Super Bowl halftime show. Now we're
not far off right, it's a twenty fourth This is
happening in like two weeks. Typically we get at least
(08:38):
one feature on the halftime show, so we'll know it's
Sizza and they go out on tour together as soon
as this thing wraps up, So that kind of makes sense.
I'm wondering if something else will happen. It'd be kind
of wild if he brought Lil Wayne out, because Lil
Wayne was super emotional that he didn't get the halftime show.
Because it's in New Orleans, by the way, New Orleans,
(08:59):
pensacolav We've seen all the snow piled up.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
It's nuts. We thought that Cincinnati was ill prepared.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
I cannot imagine what it's like to get five inches
of snow in Florida.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
That's nuts. All right. I think that's it for now.
Speaker 7 (09:12):
Right.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
That is three things you need.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
To know for the twenty fourth of January. Coming up
around seven o five, we're commercial free, Happy Friday.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
The best way to keep.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Listening to Tiff in the morning is by searching us
on I heard radio Kiss one O seven one.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
Type it in the search bar.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
What a duo?
Speaker 3 (09:31):
What a jam?
Speaker 2 (09:32):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one oh seva one. If I'm the first voice you're
hearing today out loud, Hi, good morning, Happy Friday.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
Is gonna be.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
Forty two degrees tomorrow? I mean things are looking up.
We're in the midst of just chit chatting about the
concert announcement that was made yesterday. What are your thoughts
on Billy Joel so Ya, I mean Billy Joel piano man.
(10:09):
I think I'm Rod Stewart, obviously. I don't think it
will be a bad concert. I just was really thinking
it was gonna be I really thought.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
It was gonna be Beyonce. I really thought.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
It was gonna be Beyonce or Morgan Wallen. But instead,
you know, we've got this and started.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
The fire was burning. It's the world returning, right, it
was always everybody was turning.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
I can't believe I started the fire. I'm all right,
not gonna move on. I gotta move on.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Mike McConnell from seven hundred Wow and I were just
chit chatting about the fact that our city loves to
piehole everything into one weekend. Whyatt lands on October? Pheess
ins Innati, the Reds are home?
Speaker 3 (11:01):
I mean, why do we do this? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
I'm still holding up for Beyonce and maybe maybe one other,
maybe Morgan Wallen. I'm not gonna let it go yet.
All right, we're commercial free. I hope you're off to
a good star. The best way to keep up with
the show is by searching kiss one oh seven one.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Type that into the search.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Bar, because two songs from now I will give you
time to think and not overthink. Though when I say
just like contribute, I don't mean to overthink it.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Have you ever done something.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Crazy because you have a crush on someone.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
I don't know if you could beat out the thing
I just saw on TikTok. I don't know. I'm gonna
play it for you.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
I'm wondering if anyone else in Cincinnati has done anything
this nuts.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
What is the craziest thing you've done for a crush?
I can't believe I started at the fire.
Speaker 8 (11:54):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, h kiss
one seven one.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
Good morning, Happy Friday.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
I'm so embarrassed. I'm so embarrassed.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
What happened.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
When you have a crush on someone, it is quite
not fun.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
It's the worst thing on the planet.
Speaker 9 (12:23):
I hate having a crush on somebody, and you.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
Like it is not fun at all?
Speaker 3 (12:30):
What did you say off the air?
Speaker 9 (12:32):
I would rather my crush die than get ghosted by
my crush.
Speaker 4 (12:39):
That would eliminate so many of my problems.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Okay, so we're gonna swap stories. This all started because
I saw a TikTok video, which I will play for
you in a couple of minutes, because I don't know
if my story compares to this TikTok video. I don't know.
Maybe you don't have TikTok anymore and I'll play it
for you coming up in a few minutes. I had
a crush on someone so bad, like a year and
a half ago, that I used to drive my white
(13:03):
suv oh no, past their place of business just to
see if I could see them in the window.
Speaker 4 (13:09):
We have all done the drive by. I too, am
a victim of the drive by again.
Speaker 9 (13:15):
That's why I hate having a crush, Like it is
so cringey, and you do the absolute wildest stuff and
your brain just isn't braining how it should.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
No, you're crazy.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
I hate it. I don't want to like anybody. This
is why I got married.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Meanwhile, this man has been in my car before, so
there's a chance like he knows what the white suv
look like.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Oh guarantee you he saw you.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
And then immediately as soon as the crush goes away,
what is that crush turn into?
Speaker 7 (13:43):
Do you know?
Speaker 4 (13:43):
You hate them?
Speaker 9 (13:44):
It's an ick like you block them, you hate them,
and you're like, how did I ever want to like
touch them?
Speaker 4 (13:49):
I don't know, in any sexual way.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
I don't know, but it is so crazy what your
brain does.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
I've seen this video before.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
It's the you know, my favorite thing is when I
start to like guy and then I go absolutely insane.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Oh my god, you know sane.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
So I'm gonna play this video because I don't know
if my drive by story you didn't tell a story.
I don't know if it's any different, if it's worse
or better. I don't think it even compares to the
one I'm gonna play on TikTok.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
Just the drive bys.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
But while we give me a song, I'm gonna play
the video while we wait for that.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Five one three seven four nine one seven one.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Have you ever done anything crazy for a crush?
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Hi?
Speaker 3 (14:26):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Okay, we're back talking about crushes on TIF in the morning,
and more so the crazy things that you've done because
you've had a crush on someone. I know that this
exists in the girl world, but I haven't heard from
the guy world yet. Five one three seven four nine
one oh seven one. Maybe you've heard me give the
number or reference the talkback feature on the iHeartRadio app
and you thought, Hm, I've always heard her say this,
(14:49):
but I've never been the one to call. It is
literally only me that answers the phone like you will
call and have a direct line to me.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
The reason why this.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Whole thing started is because I don't know if I'm
the only one that still has TikTok on my phone.
And by the way, did you see that people were
selling their phones for like twenty grand that still had
TikTok on it.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
That's how desperate people are feeding for it.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
But nonetheless, I came across this video, and I don't
know if there's anything in Cincinnati that has happened that
is quite as crazy.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
When you have a crush on someone. He's not ghosting me, hopefully,
he just passed away.
Speaker 10 (15:26):
So I go about my day that my phone rings
and I picked up and in my head, I'm like,
please tell me his phone was off. Please don't say
you saw all of those times I called. And of
course he goes, my phone was on, do not disturb.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
What happened?
Speaker 1 (15:41):
Now?
Speaker 3 (15:41):
I hadn't thought about that, so I had to think
on my feet okay?
Speaker 10 (15:46):
And I I said someone was chasing me.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
He said who, I said, A woman? He said on foot.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
I said, yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
He's like, I've never seen you run in your life.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
First of all, so she this is Carly Aquino.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
By the way, do you know her. She used to
be on an MTV show, and she's a comedian.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
She had a crush on someone so bad one time
that she called his phone six hundred times and he
never answered. And when he finally took his phone off
do not Disturb and looked at all the miss calls,
he said, why did you call me so many times?
Speaker 3 (16:27):
And she had to come up with.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
A lie in the moment, had to be so committed
to that lie that she said someone was chasing her
down the street. I can see it now on OTR
five point three seven four nine O seven one. What
is the craziest thing that you've done for a crush?
Speaker 3 (16:53):
I love that song?
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Good Morning You're waking up with TIF in the morning
on Kiss one O seven one, Happy Friday. We're talking
about the crazy thing that you've done because you've had
a crush on someone. And I haven't heard from the
guy world yet, only the girl world.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
Good Morning, you're on the air.
Speaker 11 (17:09):
Yeah, okay, that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
Well, what is it about twenty three?
Speaker 11 (17:13):
I'm about twenty three right now, and she works at
the movie theaters and I pretty much went to the
movies every day for that week trying to talk to her.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
Dude, you know how.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
Much I love the movies. I I that's that tracks
for me. But did you end up getting a chance
to chat with her?
Speaker 6 (17:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (17:30):
I did.
Speaker 11 (17:30):
It ended up being on the last night. I ended
up going and it didn't really work out. She kind
of peaked that I've been there for every day of
the week.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
So the way it always goes, it's like they can
pick up on the fact you have a crush on them.
Do well, you went and spent probably one hundred dollars
at the movies. Did you see an even good that
you loved if you went every day?
Speaker 11 (17:47):
I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie. Yeah, it
was pretty good. That was back in the day though.
That was back when it was a well my sister
was working at a newport on the levee.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
Okay, cool. What was your name? By the way, my
name is Ramon Ramone. Thank you for the call. Appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
It's good to know that craziness exists in the girl
world and the guy world.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
Lynn. You need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tiff On. Good morning.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
We're just before eight o'clock at eight thirty of your
first chance of the day to win Nelly tickets for
warmer days at riverbend this summer, so.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
Don't go farm all right.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
New update on the four suspects that are in custody
who allegedly burglarized Joe Burrow's home. Their bond has been
set for two hundred and fifty thousand.
Speaker 8 (18:32):
On set Thursday, a two hundred and fifty thousand dollars
each for the four Chilean men who are allegedly part
of a criminal gang that burglarizes multimillion dollar homes. They're
accused of targeting homes in Southwest Ohio, one of which
being Bengals quarterback Joe burrows Anderson Township home back on
December ninth, when the team was in Dallas facing the Cowboys.
Earlier this month, the four arrested during a traffic stop
in Clark County where law enforcement saw one of them
(18:54):
wearing a Bengals hat with an LSU T shirt found
in the vehicle.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
And that's the bodycam footage I played for you yesterday.
That was Sean Gallagher from our sister station seven hundred WLW.
So when there's more on that one, i'll have it
for you. Second in three things you need to know,
it is New Music Friday, on Kiss one O seven
one and we're not far off from getting a Tate
McCrae album next month. So this is the next single
off that album. It's called sports Car.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
This ISR.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
Sports.
Speaker 12 (19:35):
You know.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
Tate mccray's tour was also announced.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Not many US cities on it, but she was here
last year and she sold out the Brady all right.
And then lastly in three Things you need to Know
this morning. The announcement came out almost twenty four hours
ago at this point.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
But if you haven't heard.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Rod Stewart and Billy Joel are come in to pay
Corps Stadium on September twentieth, and we love to pack
it all in in one day in this city. It
falls on the same day as Zincinnati and the Reds
against the Cubs. I don't know why we love it.
We love to make it busy. Here's Elizabeth Blackburn with
the Bengals.
Speaker 13 (20:11):
We are so excited for this event to further showcase
pay Course Stadium as a premier venue that hosts world
class entertainment and experiences like we have the pleasure of
doing on Sundays throughout the fall. This will be an
amazing Saturday this coming fall.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Tickets go on sale next week. Wednesday's the pre sale.
I believe Friday is the regular on sale. But yeah,
here we got.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
Wat suit on.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
Suit off today.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
You know, I'm cool with it. I think it will
be a good time. I just really thought it was
going to be Beyonce or Morgan Wallame. That is three
things you need to know for the twenty fourth of January.
Your chance at the Nelly tickets at River Bend coming
up at eight thirty. The best way to keep listening
to Kiss is on the iHeartRadio app. Good morning and
Happy Friday.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Hi, good morning, you're.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Waking up with TIF in the morning on Kiss one
oh seven.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
One Happy Friday. We're commercial free here.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
And if you like cake, then you'll probably like this
video or maybe at least be able to relate to
the video that I put up yesterday. If you're a
visual person at the tiff to F's Potter like the Wizard.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
I'm on nowday.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
This is I'm entering my third day, second full day,
with a giant birthday cake at my house, and every
single time I walk into the kitchen, I take just
a little baby.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Bite out of it.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
My blood is coursing with sugar and frosting right now.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
But I can't let it go. It's so good.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
We had this conversation off the air on social that
the best kind of cake out there is yellow At
Chocolate Frosting.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
And you can fight me on it, but I will.
I will die on that hill. I will die.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
I will.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
I will dig my own grave, I will put myself
in it, and I will pull the sand on top
of me.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
Yellow At Chocolate Frosting is superior.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
Check out the video at the tiff two F's Potter
like the Wizard, because man.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
I just can't quit it.
Speaker 4 (22:07):
I coundnot.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
I couldnot, And my coworkers are like, you should bring
in some cake, and I'm like, yeah, I should.
Speaker 3 (22:13):
I'm not gonna. I'm gonna eat that thing all weekend.
My teeth are gonna run out of my head. That's
how much sugar I'm having.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
Anyways, Nonetheless, you should search us on the iHeartRadio app
if you want to go see Nelly, or you want
you like our music or you like our conversation, because
coming up at eight thirty, I have your first chance
of the day to win Nelly tickets and you'll need
the keyword wedding I'll explain why I come in three
minutes from now.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
You're waking up in the morning, Ki, Hi, good morning.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Wedding is the keyword you're gonna need for the Nelly tickets.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
He will be back for the third time.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
I Love Cincinnati with y'all Rulin Eve later on this
August with the keyword wedding.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
And here's why I.
Speaker 12 (22:56):
Need to shout out my sister Shannon, because she is
recently a gauged shout out to Mike, her fiance, for
popping the question, getting her that beautiful demonry. And I'm
so excited to actually be a part of planning a
wedding for the first time in my life. I've been
to so many, so now that I actually get to
be a part.
Speaker 14 (23:13):
Of one, and for somebody like my sister, Oh my god,
it's so exciting.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
So love that.
Speaker 14 (23:17):
Love weddings. Love weddings so much.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Well, thank you for the talk bag with tip, and
congratulations to your sister and Mike for popping the question,
and thanks for making.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
Me a part of it.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
When you search kiss on the iHeartRadio app, you too
can leave me talkbacks or voice notes. You'll see the
microphone right next to the play butt. Here's here's what
I kind of want to do. I've also been to
a million weddings, but I've never helped plan one.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
I've been even I've been the.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Maid of honor, and I've kind of gone back and
forth with my friends.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
A little bit on it.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
But for the most part, outside of like setting things up,
they handled everything logistic. So I don't even know if
I have a good piece of advice for for twenty
twenty five weddings, right, I mean the last one I
was a part of as a maid of honor was
twenty eighteen, and the wedding culture has changed quite a bit,
am I Right?
Speaker 3 (24:13):
So this is what I think we're gonna do.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
Let's get some advice for our talkbacker five one, three, seven,
four nine one oh seven one.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
You could also use that talkback feature as well.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
What is the one piece of advice you would give
for someone planning a wedding in twenty twenty five? Usher
on TIF in the morning. Last year, around this time,
we were gearing up for his halftime show, and now
Kendrick Lamarny just announced that another artist is going to
join him. I'll have that for you in three things
around eight fifty while I have you right now, if
(24:45):
you want to go see Nelly, you'll need the keyword
wedding coming up here in a few minutes. We're in
the midst of talking about if you are planning a wedding,
or maybe you just planned one in twenty three, twenty four,
you're getting ready for twenty twenty five, what is the
one piece of advice that you would give someone.
Speaker 15 (25:02):
I got married about two years ago, and there's something
about my wedding that people are still talking about to
this day. We chose to do a late night sackbar
and it was French fries, so there was like five
or six different dippings and seasonings, and it was honestly
one of the best parts of our wedding.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
M That is girl dinner at its finest.
Speaker 2 (25:24):
If you're just walking into the conversation, the reason why
is and thank you.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
For that talk back with TIF.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
That's a great way to contribute to the show if
you don't feel like calling me. I had gotten one
a few minutes ago that said I'm going to be
the maid of honor of my sister's wedding and I've
never planned a wedding before. So if you could give
one piece of advice something you did that you really liked.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
What is it?
Speaker 7 (25:42):
I will have to say, back Yard weddings I think
can be done so extraordinarily. Well, I mean, I've been
to separl and you just get a big ten sometimes
and you get the right haterer is a delicious you know,
big giant caking.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
Well you, I mean you spoke right to me when
you said big giant cake girl, because that is that
is my love language.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
We have time for at least one more piece of advice.
Speaker 16 (26:12):
Everybody our wedding was really somebody that we loved and
cared about. So if that was really cool, and for
the unity piece of the ceremony, instead of like pouring
stand into a jar, we actually made a cocktail together
and it was really fun and then that became our
signature cocktail for the night.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Smart I like, okay, these are things that I had
never thought of. What are your thoughts on having social
media people at your wedding. I've seen that a little
bit more where a lot there's someone there that's designated
to make the content.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
For your wedding. You have to weigh in on that one.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
We still have a few minutes, Like I said, wedding
is the keyword that you'll need for the Nelly tickets
coming up in.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
A couple of minutes from now.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning one seven one,
all right, good morning.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
Go ahead and start dialing if you have the keyword
that I mentioned earlier in the show for the Nelly
tickets later this summer.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Five one three, seven four nine one o seven one.
Good luck.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Now, while I have you, we're in the midst of
talking about what is the one piece of advice you
would give for someone planning a wedding in twenty twenty five,
And the reason being is I got a talk back
I played maybe fifteen minutes to go on the show
off someone saying my sister just got engaged and I'm
gonna help her plan the wedding.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
And I don't really you know, I've never.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Done this before, So I said, wedding planning is very
different now than when I've helped some of my friends.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
So what is the one thing?
Speaker 2 (27:30):
And the conversation that came up was about content creating
and how people are hiring specific people to do one
specific job, and that's get the content for the wedding.
Speaker 14 (27:40):
I might be in the minority here unpopular opinion. But
I don't understand why you.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
Would need a content creator on your wedding day.
Speaker 14 (27:48):
Isn't your wedding day is.
Speaker 6 (27:49):
Supposed to be a special day for you, your husband,
and the people that you have chosen to be on
your guest list.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
I totally see where you're coming from. Thank you for
the talkback with Tiff. When you search kiss on the
iHeartRadio app, in the tight top right hand corner, there's
a microphone. It's right next to the play button. You
just hold that down. You have thirty seconds to contribute
to the show here. I'm not talking about your videographer
and photographer.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
Those are standard.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
These people are being hired specifically to create content TikTok reels, carousels,
and I get it. I think there's a delicate balance
of needing to be present and being authentic and really
enjoying the moment, But having pictures and videos for yourself
and for social media is important as well. In the
(28:34):
era in which we live in, it's a very delicate balance.
If I ever walk down the aisle myself, I'll probably
have to manage the same thing. All right, If hopefully
you've picked up on the keyword right now if you
haven't hintint as so what we're just talking about? Caller ten,
I have one more open phone line for Nelly tickets
five one three seven four nine one oh seven one.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
Good luck. In the meantime, we're still commercial free.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
You're waking up with Kiff in the morning on one.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Well, good morning. I'm really hoping you have a keyword
for me.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
Oh, wedding and then will you marry me in the morning?
Speaker 2 (29:11):
My very first proposal I've never been proposed to.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
Really really well that we need to change that.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
Well, set it up again one more time so i
can practice. Go ahead, Okay, the secret word is wedding
and will you marry me? Timpaney, I appreciate you. Congratulations,
you're callar ten.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
You got the keyword and you are going to Nelly.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
I cannot wait.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
Warmer days are ahead of us. What's your name and
what neighborhood do you?
Speaker 15 (29:42):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (29:43):
You calling me from?
Speaker 16 (29:44):
My name is Russ and I am in Mason, Ohio
traveling to work.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
Oh my god, Russ, Well I should probably get familiar
with Mason if you know we're getting married and I'm
going to be potentially living up.
Speaker 11 (29:54):
There, you know absolutely it's a great place.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
What would be one thing you recommend that I do
in Mason Ooking Island?
Speaker 3 (30:00):
Of course, you know I've only.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
Ever gone to Kings Island for Winterfest, not for any
roller coaster experiences. Yet we'll have to change that, okay, Ross, Well,
thank you for listening to Tiff in the Morning.
Speaker 3 (30:12):
I appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
Thank you very much for the back Ah, Happy Friday.
We're commercial free for a little longer. I'm sorry you
took an l on the Nelly tickets. I will have
a different experience for you next week. So if you
want to set a reminder to get up with Tiff
in the morning, I.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Would love it.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
Coming up two songs from now, I'll dive into the
three things you need to know to get your day
started in Sincy. So, what's going on with four seventy one?
Oh okay, we'll get to that next.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. Kiss.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
How do you get the most out of your after
work down time? Tell me if this is you park
your car, you walk into the house, you put all
your bags down. If you're a girl, you have at
least three If you're a guy, you're absolutely nothing. You're
raw dogging it. You're walking in the house with nothing
in your hands. Get everything down, take your shoes off,
(31:07):
sit down on your couch, open your phone. I do
it too, and I'm wondering, is there a way to
make this a little bit better and be more productive?
I kind of chop it up typically as just it's
the winter and when it is six degrees outside, what
else are we doing? But I always find myself in
this weird flux during the day. Mine might hit at
a different time than yours because of my work schedule,
(31:29):
but there's usually like two or three hours during the
day that I'm like, should I be doing something different
than what I'm doing.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
I watch a lot of TV.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
And I always say it the biggest gift you can
share with somebody is talking about what show it is
that you're watching, because we're all kind of in this
together right now. Sometimes there's just not much to do,
and I ask myself like, should I start a hobby,
Should I like start a second job, should I volunteer? Like?
Speaker 3 (31:54):
What are some of the things that you can do?
Speaker 2 (31:55):
So, according to this, the first thing you should do
when you get home is take off your work clothes,
and I am a strong believer in that I usually
don't sit on any of my inside furniture with my
outside clothes on. Now, I do have weird friends that
will just go right into their bed with their jeans
or their sweats on, and that's a no for me.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
No no, no, no, no, no no no. Ditch your work clothes.
Speaker 2 (32:21):
Create an after work routine you look forward to that
usually involves getting in some sort of movement, playing your
favorite song, and putting your phone down. Be mindful of overstimulation,
and getting chores done out of the way is something
if you've got the energy to do it. I praise
right and doing something different, And that's usually what I
(32:44):
try to talk about on my show at least throughout
the you know the week here and there, that if
you get home and you don't know what to do,
you know, listen to listen to our Tip in the
Morning podcast because usually at some point during the day
I've either mentioned some sort of event that's happening, or
some sort of activity or a different connection point.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
I also saw on this list.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Becoming friends with your neighbors is a super underrated thing.
So if you can hang out with your neighbors. It
helps decrease loneliness. You got some help when you're in
the pinch or something. But try to make the most
of your out of work downtime by not scrolling social
media immediately. And you might feel like you have a
hole in your life anyways, because TikTok, if you deleted
(33:25):
it is now gone from your phone.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
All right, come in U nine the Daily Debrief.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
If you had to give one piece of advice for
planning a wedding in twenty twenty five, what would you give.
We're gonna get to that next. You can talk back
with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app. When you search kiss
one oh seva one. You'll see the microphone in the
top right hand corner.
Speaker 1 (33:44):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time kiss
good morning.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
It's time for the Daily Debrief. We'll do it one
more time before the week's over. I usually take one
big thing that we talked about during the four hours
of our show and we revisited, giving you a chance
if you're just starting your day, or maybe we get
to a talkback or two that we didn't get to
in the moment. Sometimes we run out of time, so
today I'd asked, if you were to give a piece
of advice for someone planning a wedding in twenty twenty five,
(34:12):
what would that advice be.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
We got a lot of different feedback.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
The one big thing I heard about a lot today
was hiring a content creator for your wedding.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
That was a new one I hadn't heard of before.
Speaker 14 (34:25):
So as somebody that got married during COVID, I had
to do a lot of things myself and just kind
of figured it out because everything was shut down. The
Zazzi is a perfect.
Speaker 15 (34:32):
Online website for you to figure out like bride'smaid stresses and.
Speaker 14 (34:36):
All of that at sea, perfect resource especially for invitations
and day of scheduling and then additionally unity ceremony. We
did tequila shots. It was so much fun.
Speaker 3 (34:47):
Okay, a unit a shot with a tequila. I love that. Yeah,
thanks for your insight.
Speaker 2 (34:52):
Talkback with Tiff anytime on the iHeartRadio app. When you
search kiss the microphones in the top right hand corner there.
Speaker 3 (35:01):
I forgot what I was going to say. Oh my god,
I'm blinking. I'm blinking. I'm blinking.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
So far this year I've only been invited to one
wedding and it's in Ireland this summer, so I might
be leaning on you. If you've ever gone to Ireland,
you're gonna have to shoot me a DM or so
because I gotta start booking those flights soon.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
All right, everything we do gets podcasted.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
Maybe you're a new bride or groom this year and
you're like, I could use some advice. Search tif Tiff
in the morning on the iHeartRadio app to get caught
up at your leisure Happy Friday.
Speaker 12 (35:29):
Should I'm right
