Because you're waking up.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
What do you think it's like to go clubbing in Indiana?
If you were to put together visuals in your mind
on what you think it's like, Like the people I
want you to I want to put yourself in Indiana,
And what do you think you're gonna see?
Speaker 3 (00:18):
What are people wearing? What are they dressed?
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Like?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
What type of music is happening? What's the energy levels?
What's the vibe? Are people smoking vapes? Are they smoking
traditional cigarettes?
Speaker 4 (00:28):
Like?
Speaker 3 (00:28):
What type of crap?
Speaker 4 (00:31):
That's the average age?
Speaker 3 (00:35):
What's the average age?
Speaker 4 (00:36):
You don't say like fifty.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
That's the voice of Sarah elist I.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
If you're a visual person at the tiff two F's
Potter like the Wizard, the real is up. Friday night,
I went to Indiana Hollywood, Hollywood Casino Boogie Nights for.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
My thirty fifth birthday. And when I tell you it
was a time, it was a time.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
I'm still recovering. I'm not okay this morning. It's been
forty eight hours, Like what happened to me?
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Let's get our thank yous out of the way. First
of all, thank you to Black Car Sincy. I'll tag them.
But if you ever need a sprinter van to take
you somewhere for your birthday in an elevated experience.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
You need to use Black Car Sincy.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
It makes the experience, it really does.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Having a ride to Indiana was great.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yes, you have to look them up. Second shout out
to Hollywood Casino. They hooked me up with a table
that we didn't sit in one time.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
I never said I didn't. I didn't even know we
had a table, but thanks for the table.
Speaker 5 (01:43):
So.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
I had heard a lot of great things about boogie
Nights and it just being like such a silly time,
and as a millennial, when I saw that it was
going to be twenty ten's night, I wanted to just
go and dance so hard that I needed to chug
water on the dance floor.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
That's how badly I wanted to dance like.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
I wanted to feel like a town hall dance from
two thousand and five.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
It definitely felt that way.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
It did.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
I did not feel like I'm the age I was
in two thousand and five. No, but dude, we crushed it.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
We did.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
We had such a good time. The DJ was so
sweet and kind.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
If you have never been, I would put it on
your to do list to go with your friends if
you get a boss.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
It was.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
It was just such a good time. But the crowd
of people there, they're so fun.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
Dude.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
Remember the Leopard ladies. I kinda at one point I
got on a mic because when I drink, I feel
that I need to find a mic, and I whatever,
and I pointed out the Leopard ladies. There was a
group of about eight of them and all at Leopard
in some way one or another. And I'm like, what's
going on with this party? And They're all just pointing
at each other and I never got an answer. I'm like,
(02:51):
is this a bachelorette It's just like a lady's night out?
Is this a birthday? But they were a vibe.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
And to give you some context, they were most likely
cigarette moms.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
They were Traver Jay's about forty.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
So traditional cigarette moms. I think. I mean, cigarette moms
are like, we need them.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
They raised us, They raised us, and they took the
dance floor back the.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Night of cas at the Indiana Boogie Nights there.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
They got down way lower than we does say that.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
I just it was such a good time. Like I said,
if you're a visual person. At one point, I remember
riding the bus into Indiana. Want it said, welcome to Indiana,
and I streamed at the top of my lungs.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
Where's Kaitlyn Clark?
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Taylor Swifts, right, do you think Caitlyn Clark has gone
to Boogie Nights?
Speaker 4 (03:38):
No, I do not think she has. Dude, we need
to get her there. She's only been there for not
even a year at this point.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Well, we need to put it on the top of
her to do list. Anyway, it was a good time.
If you're a visual person at the tiff to F's
Potter like the Wizard, thank you so much for celebrating me.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
We had such a time. Highly recommend it.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Coming up two songs from now, chat Roulette, We're going
to take the biggest things happened in the last forty
or seventy two hours, put them all into one big wheel,
and try to get to as many as we can
within five minutes. What is the biggest story that you
want to talk about.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
The super Bowl? The upcoming Super Bowl? Taylor Swift, I've
got some stuff about Ariana Grande that you don't want
to miss out on, and what their countdown look like
for opening day.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
On the way do a little dance have a little cigarette.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Mom in you you're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Kiss one.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
All right, we take the biggest things that happened over
the last three days, just in case you didn't scroll
social media, just in case you want to figure out
what are the biggest things that I need to know,
and we put them into a wheel, mostly to keep
us on track, and we see as many as we
can get to in chit chat roulette.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
I'm going to start the timer. I don't know TuS
five minutes.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
I don't know about this, Ariana Grandews, what are you
talking about? Oh, we're starting with our Yeah, let's start.
I mean everyone knows super Bowl. We'll give you that
in a second. Okay, I'm confused.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
I don't see what was out in about this weekend
and pictured with dark hair again, what our dark ari
is bad?
Speaker 1 (05:06):
Wait?
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Let me google a picture.
Speaker 4 (05:07):
Way yeah, with a little brunette ponytail, dark hair, dark ari.
I'm glad it's back. I mean, I loved her Glinda vibe,
but there's a lot of time between now and Wicked
Part two coming out, so I'm wondering what she has
in the works with the dark hair coming back.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
You know, I went through a phase two summers ago
where I tried to figure out what my like makeup
contrast was and also what my color wheel was.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Oh I remember that, I remember.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
Yes, I'm a bright summer by the way, light low
contrast if you're wondering. And I feel like that goes
for hair as well. And she looks better in this
really pretty brown blonde.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
Yes, I miss her like you know, tan and dark hair,
the long ponytail, like you know, the Ari that we've
all known, and.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
This the pawn And I say, I don't wanna that's
the brown hair Ari, like seven rings.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
Oh my god, it's back.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Do you think that Hailey Steinfeld and Taylor Swift texted
yesterday while they were at the games?
Speaker 4 (06:15):
You know, you never really see Taylor on her phone
while she's sitting in the suite. There is not ever
a moment where she is looking down. She is constantly
looking out the window. But you know what, the girl
is a performer. She knows that cameras are always on her.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
And she covers her mouth every time she talks.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Oh yeah, she knows the lip readers are out there.
She's very very smart, very aware. But do I think
that they've talked before, of course, of course.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
And if you're wondering, Hailey Steinfeld is the one that
Josh Allen just proposed to.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
But Hailey is a musician as well.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
She's got bangers and she's an incredible actress as well.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
Oh I didn't know about it.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Haley.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
I think Haley plays in the Marvel world. Oh that's right, Okay, yeah,
but I'm wondering if they are texting or not. I've
felt so bad for Josh Allen.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
I know, because at the end of the game, they
were showing him and he's sitting there on the bench
and he's got his head down and he just he
just looks so defeated. And most of America really was
rooting for the Bills.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
I just wanted them to win because I'm like, you.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
Got it, guys, like not because I'm upset about the
Chiefs winning. As a Patriots fan, I'm like, go ahead
and bring on the dynasty for yourself.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
Yeah, they're the new Patriots. Honestly, they're going for the
three peat. I mean it just makes sense. Pat Mahomes
just had his third baby with his wife Brittany, going
first third in a row. He's already got three together.
I mean, he's like twenty seven years old, very successful.
Speaker 5 (07:38):
Did you watch the did you watch the whole game?
I watched everything all day yesterday? In your football brain,
was that, what was that call? What did did that
fourth down call?
Speaker 3 (07:49):
I missed that? I did not see that? In your opinion?
Was that, Oh, they're.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Saying that they shouldn't have see they always were? You thought, yeah,
because they're saying like, oh, of course the Chiefs always
get all the calls that go in their favor. I
don't know. Okay, who's to say? My brain is still
trying to wake up this.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Wording excitement level one to ten. On Kendrick Lamar, I'm
like at a five. He's bringing sizza with him.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
I know.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
That kind of broke over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
I think I'm more I was a two, But I'm
getting to an eight now. Oh an eight, because one,
I want to know if he's gonna do not like us,
because he's under that lot. He's under a lawsuit right
now with Drake on not like us. Oh, so I'm
wondering if he's going to do not like us. And
I'm wondering if he's going to bring out a second guest.
I'm always curious about that, and I'm just excited for
(08:36):
the production value of it.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Yeah, I mean I always love the halftime show. I
love everything about this Super Bowl. I mean you're watching
the two best teams in the entire country. You get
all the fun commercials. You know, a great halftime show,
usually good food. I mean it's a vibe I've never missed.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
You know who was throwing shade at Cincinnati this weekend?
Speaker 4 (08:58):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (08:58):
Oh, our very own Joe Burrow.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
He's in Australia right now.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
What's up, guys?
Speaker 4 (09:05):
Joe Burrow here at the Australian Open, excited to be
here in the sun seeing the top athletes.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
See what they did?
Speaker 3 (09:12):
He said, you guys in the six degree weather, I'm outy.
I'm going to Australia bit where it is summer right now.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
But I don't blame him, Like, if he's not here
playing football, why would he even stay here when it sucks?
Speaker 3 (09:26):
Do you think one to ten? Do you think Joe
Burrow watched yesterday's games?
Speaker 4 (09:30):
Of course you think an he's a football guy.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
One more thing.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
Anything you want to add in, you have three seconds.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
Well, since we were talking about the weather, sucking something
to put on your radar. Less than sixty days till
opening day fifty nine to be exact. The biggest party
in Cincinnati going down March twenty seventh.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
Baby, we did it zero. I'm proud of us. We
do this every Monday.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
By the way, if you're just walking into the same
we're commercial free for the rest.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
Of the hour.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Don't know what a tush push is, but well that's
when you push the quarterback in.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
I would.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
Lynn, you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tiff On.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
All right, good morning, Good morning, Joe Burrow, throwing just
a little bit of shade our way. We're just before
eight o'clock, coming up at eight thirty. I have tickets
for you to go to this really fun Marty Gras
party that Sarah John John and I are hosting.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
So don't go far. All right, So, Joe Burrow, where
do you think he was this weekend?
Speaker 2 (10:38):
Did you see this video? Not in Cincinnati, not in
the cold weather.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
What's up, guys? Joe Burrow here at the Australian Open.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
Excited to be here in the in the sun, seeing
the top athletes, see what they do. Absolutely in the sun,
in the warmth on the other side of the globe
in the summer when we're in six or seven degree weather.
Although this weekend actually was a little bit better for us,
and it will continue to improve and melt away that
hard icy snow. I was curious myself on whether or
(11:05):
not he was watching the games.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Does he seem like one of those guys that would
watch a football game on his phone while at the
Australian Open.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
I don't even think he can do that. I also
don't even know if the.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
Timing and the days match up, but I just I
just love the fact that he was in the warmth,
all right. Second in three things you need to know.
Obviously you're waking up this morning and being like, who's
going to go to the Super Bowl? It's the Chiefs
and the Eagles again. Quick things that you need a
debrief on a lot of drama with the refs in
both games. Taylor Swift was there yesterday. I didn't see
(11:35):
any footage of Hailey Steinfeld. I'm assuming that she was there.
This audio right here of Josh Allen just broke my heart.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
It's not fun, but to beat the champs, you gotta
to beat the champis you had to beat the champs.
Speaker 6 (11:50):
And we didn't do it tonight.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Here's Travis Kelce. So I grew up on that music.
(12:13):
That's why I was vibing.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
I had.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
It took me a second to put two and two
together that k C like Kansas City and then k
C and the Sunshine Ban. I love Casey in the
Sunshine Ban like regardless if it has anything to do
with Kansas City.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
So yeah, of course Taylor was.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
There a lot of zoomed in shots of her and
Travis kissing at the end of the game, just like
smashing their mouths together.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
And here we go two weeks from now.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
You know, we've got the Super Bowl, Kendrick Lamar, the
Chiefs and the Eagles. Lastly, in three things you need
to know this morning, speaking of Sundays and such, the
Grammys coming up this weekend on Sunday. Performers have been announced.
Also Beyonce and Taylor Swift will be in attendance. Billie
Eilish performing, Charlie XCX, Shakira Chapel Roone, Sabrina Carpenter, Doci,
(13:00):
Benston Boone, Teddy Swims, and more.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Trevor Noah's hosting.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
Very curious to see who's going to take home Best
New Artists of the Year, because you only get nominated
for that once and there's a lot of big artists
in that category, including Chapel and Sabrina Carpenter. That is
three things you need to know for the twenty seventh
of January coming up at eight thirty. Your chance at
a free party don't go far.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
If you're waking up fifth in the morning, Kiss one
O seven one.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Hello, Hello, good morning.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
We have other things to get to in this hour,
but I want to take a minute to recognize John John.
And of course I'm talking about John John on air
those afternoons here at Kiss one oh seven one and
my counterpart on the job. And the reason why is
because I don't think he'll ever truly understand what type
of magic he brings to Cincinnati. And I also don't
(13:48):
think he'll ever really give himself the flowers. So our
Kiss one O seven one team is very small. It's
him and I and a few other key players. And
it is a goal of mine in this life to
just celebrate the people that are around me and lift
them up and give them them flowers where needed, and make.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
Sure that people feel like what they do.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Matters right, and who they are and who they show
up in this world makes a difference and it matters.
So the reason I bring this up is because he's
already posted about it, and if you follow him on
social media, there's a really good chance that you've seen that.
John John said goodbye to his mother last week and
she had passed away and over the weekend I had
(14:28):
gone to the celebration of life and the services on Saturday,
and I can't imagine what it's like to say goodbye
to a parent. And if you've done that, you are
in a special club that only people in the club
know what it feels like, and it'll come for all
of us at one point in this life. But watching
John John say goodbye to his mother was really something
(14:50):
special and sweet. And I don't think he recognizes sometimes
the magic that he can bring to a room, and it.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
Is a special skill, it's a talent.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
And I don't think he was trying to be John
John from the radio in this moment. I think he
was being authentic to who he was and woho he
is rather but in that moment, as he was, you know,
getting ready to say a utulogy for his mother. You
could feel like the tension in the air right every
of course, it's a service saying goodbye to a loved one, and.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
You could just feel it.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
You could feel a presence, You could feel just the
heaviness and the sadness and what it's like to sit
in that. And then John John takes the mic and
slices it open, just slices it open right away, and
you could.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
Visibly and audibly hear the audience take a sigh and
a breath.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
And that is just such a special, special thing about
a human being to be able to bring light and
joy and energy to a room where people aren't always
able to do that, and they look to you to
do that. And he did that, and he was very
eloquently spoken about his mother and his family and how
much she meant to him. And I just I'll always
(16:07):
remember that moment for John John, and I'm sending him.
Speaker 4 (16:10):
A lot of love.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
You know, grief, if you're going through it, grief is
not linear, and she most certainly knocks on the door
whenever she wants and wherever she wants. So I just
wanted to recognize John John in that moment because watching him,
you know, say goodbye is was really tough but also
very beautiful at the same time. And you know, what
we do in this world matters, right, and what you
(16:32):
say in this world matters, And I think John John
shows up every day and it really does that for
Kiss one oh seven one in our Kiss community here
in Cincinnati and Indiana and in northern Kentucky. So all right,
we're gonna move on from that commercial free for a
little bit longer. I had mentioned around eight thirty ish,
we're probably gonna be a little bit late. To be honest,
(16:53):
I have tickets to the one Marty Grub party. You
are not gonna want to miss. You will need the
keyword chain restaurant, and I'll explain why in a few minutes.
Let me get my act together and take a breath
from this, because you're.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Waking up with five in the morning. Kiss one, we.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Are back, and we're gonna talk about chain restaurants.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
Chains.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
No, this is only gonna be good if you contribute.
So if you're like, oh my god, Tiffany, yeah, I've
heard you talk about contributing, but I'm nervous, Well, don't be.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
It's literally me in this box you'll.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
See the microphone on the top right hand corner. If
you want to top talk back with Tiff on the
iHeart radio app. Great, those are voice notes. You can
call me five one three seven four nine one oh
seven one. Chain restaurant's a keyword for the Marty Grad
Tickets coming up here in a few minutes.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
And I'll explain what that means.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
But just know that it's a fun party and you're
gonna get in for free, and all your alcohol and
food is included and it goes to charity.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
Okay, So I love our.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
Restaurant scene and Cincy, although I know a couple of
key players have kind of come and gone with the
fact that the economy and coming out, I mean, all right,
insert whatever story, it's tough to keep a restaurant going.
Shout out to everyone in the food service industry. I
want to talk about chain restaurants for a hot second,
because for the first time in probably forever, I had
(18:07):
experienced a chain restaurants. I don't mean, and it's not
like I don't go to them, but I just hadn't
gone to this one a really long time. When I
go visit my dad, we always hit up the ninety nine.
But when I was hanging out with my best friend
Abby you'll know her from everything sincey we were watching OSU.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
Actually, so it's about a week ago.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
She said, I really want a sweet treat and I said, well, duh,
like that's my middle name, let's go. She said, do
you want to order Applebee's. I'm like what, I said what,
And she's like, yeah, You've never had the dark lava
chocolate cake from Applebee's. I said no, and also never
(18:47):
would I had thought to order like door dash from Applebee's.
And you guys know, I don't really do DoorDash and
uber eats as it is, because it stresses me out
with the fees and it makes me really angry. And
at that point, once I've added everything into my and
I see how much the service fee is, I delete
it immediately and go make pasta.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
That's the kind of gal I am.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
But she's like, no, no, no, no, no, tif we're ordering apple
Bee's chocolate lava cake.
Speaker 3 (19:09):
You have to try this, and let me tell you
apple Bee's what's up.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
And I see this all the time now that inflation
is kind of coming and going and just and mean,
it's not going anywhere.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
It's just coming in hot.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Really, the chain restaurants people are kind of making a
return to.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
Them, right, What was it Chili's?
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Was it Chili's that had the Nashville hot dipper that
went super viral on social medium? So here's what I
want to do. Chain restaurants that still exist that you're
obsessed with, or ones that don't exist anymore that you
wish were still around five one, three, seven, four, nine
one seven one?
Speaker 3 (19:47):
What's that one meal? We'll get to you next.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
And by the way, you know, that's the keyword for
the Marty party tickets.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
We're in the midst of talking about restaurants, chain restaurants
to be more specific in places that you love or
places that you miss. You're waking up with Tiff in
the morning on Kiss one oh seven one. That is
the keyword, by the way, that you're gonna need to
win the Marty Graw tickets come out up here in
a few minutes.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
How about what chain we don't need back? And I'm
going with Sonic.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Oh my god, I only know of one item from Sonic,
and that is that cherry lemonade thing that everyone loves.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
The cherry line where is there a sonic.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff when you
search Kiss on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
The microphones in the top right hand corner. So kind
of like Friendlies where they serve the ice cream up.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
I can't remember if they had actual food, but I
loved that place as a kid. Okay, ice cream at
Friendlies was so good, and so is their girl cheese.
Fun fact, Friendlies was my first waitressing job ever, and
I was so so so bad at it that I
was never invited back. All right, Chane Restaurant. If you

Speaker 4 (22:37):
Come all right.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
The keyword was chain restaurants.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
If you didn't pick up what Mike was saying, we
were in the midst of talking about what your favorite
chain restaurant is. If you have one or one that's
no longer here that you miss, you're more than welcome
to contribute to this conversation. My talking back with Tiff
on the iHeartRadio app. When you search Kiss, you'll see
the microphone right next to the play but and that's
top right hand corner. And the meantime, we're still coming free.
(23:04):
Good morning, a little Joe Joe on TIF in the Morning.
I came up in my archives that I interviewed her
in like two thousand and sixteen when I did not
have eyebrows. You're waking up with in the morning on
Kiss one O seven one high.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
You're on the air.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
I love your voice. I just want to let you
know that it's so nice to hear you in the morning.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Oh I appreciate that more than you know, my gal.
I can say anything you want right now. You want
me to give you a little shout out in my
radio voice?
Speaker 3 (23:31):
Oh sure, all right? What's your name's right?
Speaker 5 (23:35):
All right?
Speaker 2 (23:35):
Let me get in yep. What neighbor what neighborhood are
you in? And where are you off to?
Speaker 1 (23:42):
I'm in Cincinnati.
Speaker 4 (23:43):
I'm in Madisonville, but I were I just got here
to work in Amazon. So fun.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
Okay, well here we go. Good morning, Wendy.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
I appreciate you waking up with Tiff in the morning
and going into Amazon out in Madisonville and was looking
for a house. At one point in Madisonville came up
in my search. So you are loved, You are enough,
You are thriving, and twenty twenty five is going to
be your year.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
Girl.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
Thank you. Have a good day.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
You too.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
I appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
Boom, you ask and you shall receive. You're not alone
when you listen to this show. Okay, give me three minutes.
We got to dive in. What we're gonna answer next
three things you need to know to get your day
started in Sincy.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
What do I want to talk about?
Speaker 2 (24:27):
Oh my god, I gotta talk about Saturday Night Live
the Grammy this Sunday, and people are not buying champagne anymore.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
I will explain everything next.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Glynn. You need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip On.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
Well, good morning.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
We're not going to talk about the Chiefs and the Eagles.
You already know who's gonna be in the Super Bowl,
Kendrick Lamar at the halftime show. People are not buying
champagne anymore. Okay, this is a number one headline news
story for me. Champagne is an elixir. Had a glass
yesterday when I was out for brunch.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
I love it. I love champagne.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
Now.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
I just think.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
The there's a decline in alcohol sales because people are
switching over to cannabis products quite a bit, cannabis selters,
et cetera. And you know, I think it also depends
on which generation it is that we're talking about. But
I saw a headline out of Champagne France that champagne
shipments have sank nearly ten percent over the past year,
(25:31):
and that is the second year in a row. Guys,
we gotta celebrate still. I know inflation's rough. I saw
that my exit trader Joe's were seven ninety nine. I giggled,
I said, no way. My dad loves to complain about
the cost of groceries. It's his favorite thing. He shops
at a place called mack at Basket in New England.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
And I get it.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
Inflation's tough and jobs, et cetera.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
But have yourself a glass of champagne and celebrate the
good times. You can all always count on me for that.
I hope you never feel alone. I hope you always
feel like we're celebrating something here. And if you want
me to celebrate you, you just give me a reason why.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
And I got you.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
But champagne sales have decreased, so let's celebrate the good stuff. Okay,
It's on my bucket list to go to Champagne France,
and there's a chance I might get out there this summer.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
I'm gonna bring back cases cases all right.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Second, and three things you need to know this morning
I had mentioned football Sunday, et cetera. Now we're gonna
take a little break before we get to the super Bowl.
The Grammys are this Sunday night. Now, just announced Beyonce
and Taylor Swift will both be there. Who's gonna perform
this year Billie Eilish, and there was a leaked rumor
that she might be winning Album.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
Of the Year, and I think that would be a
good one. I think that album was really really good.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
Billy Eilish, Charlie XCX, Shakirat, Chapel Roone, Sabrina Doci, Benson Boone,
twenty Swims, twenty Swims and Trevor.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
Noah will host. All those people will perform.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
I think the category that I'm most interested in this
year is Better bet New Artist.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Now Best New Artist is coveted and if.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
You only get nominated for for it one time, so
if you don't win, it's a bummer. But there's a
lot of really big name artists in there, like Chapel Roone,
Sabrina Carpenter, They're all up for Best New Artists. I
don't know who's gonna win, so I'll keep you posted
on that one week from today.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
All righty, Then, lastly, three things you need to know
this morning.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
Let's talk Timothy Shallome doing host and musical guest on
Saturday Night Live. They're in their fiftieth anniversary. Here's a
clip of the opener.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
I will say it.
Speaker 6 (27:34):
Was a little weird playing Bob Dylan right after I
played Willy Wonka. But I actually discovered that the two
men have a lot in common. They're both eccentric, they're
both innovators, and they both captured and enslaved hundreds of
oop olympus.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
Mike, let's hear and perform.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
I don't have the original Bob Dylan song, and I'm
dumb for not pulling that.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
That's my bad. You guys count on me for that.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
But here he is singing, okay, anticlimactic and here we go.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
And if I could.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
Only hear her heart softly.
Speaker 6 (28:05):
Pounding, yes, and only she was lying by me.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
In a lie.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
In my big.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
Once again, I still haven't seen the movie. Yes, it's
on my list. It has been on my list for
a little while. All right, let me pull up the
real version.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
God lie, am I bag?
Speaker 2 (28:33):
Once again, I feel like they're very, very similar.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
Here's a quicklip of the original.
Speaker 6 (28:39):
I mean, if I could only hear her heart softly pounding.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
That's Timothy Shallamade.
Speaker 4 (28:44):
Guys.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
I think it's it's on my list to see, so
I know I haven't gotten out there yet.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
All right. That is three things you need to know
for the twenty seventh of January. If you can treat
me a few minutes of your time, I have your
chance to win a thousand bucks. I'm going to pay
your bills on kiss, and I'm sure that money will
come in handy, so we don't go far.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
You're waking up with in the morning, kiss on us
and one good morning.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
I once called this our movie Sunday review because I
would go to the movies every weekend.
Speaker 3 (29:10):
I love Showcase Cinema. I love going to the movies.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
It has expanded out for us talking about what you're
streaming at home, what are you watching. I like to
do this on Mondays because coming out of the weekend
is where you found new shows to watch. We usually
touch base on Mondays and Fridays about TV, movies, et cetera.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
It's so funny.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
Growing up as a kid, watching TV was so frowned upon,
and now it's become such a big part of our culture.
If you've run out of things to talk about with
coworkers or first dates or someone you're talking to, just
ask them what they're watching on TV. We connect so
much over it. Severance has been the big topic of conversation.
Second episode is out. I'm kind of waiting to bank
(29:49):
a few more so that I can binge them. But
I did start The Sex Lives of College Girls on
HBO Max and that one's been pretty funny. So if
you're looking for a reco from me, Severance on Apple
Ta and I started that show, that's not new.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
I just found that one.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
I also went to the theater and saw one of
them Days with Keiki Palmer, and it.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
Was cool to see Siza as an actress.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
Guys, overall, Sizza is an actress, pretty silly good.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
I love Keki Palmer, but Sizza did well.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
And we know that Sissa and Kendrick Lamar are going
to be on the Super Bowl halftime stage in two
weeks and they've got a tour. I honestly was like, oh,
I mean, I'm disappointed they're not coming to Cincy. But
I was wondering when that big concert announcement was being
talked about a couple of days ago, if it was
going to be them adding tour dates and coming to Cincy.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
I mean, I'm gonna still hold my breath.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
I'm holding my breath for a lot of things that
Beyonce is gonna come here. Maybe Morgan Wallin who knows Yana.
Maybe Rihanna will release music again. Oh wow, I'll be
running out of oxygen pretty quickly on that one. But nonetheless,
share what you're watching it don't gatekeep especially in these
colder dark We're still in the month of January. You know,
we're still watching a lot of TV. So if there's
(31:02):
something that you love, there's no better feeling than sharing.
So search kiss on the iHeartRadio app. When you type
in kiss one oh seven one next to the play button,
the microphone is right there. You can talk back with
Tiff anytime on anything.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
Coming up at nine.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
Pint forty the Daily Debrief, I'll choose the one big
thing that we talked about on the show today, chain restaurants.
Do you have one that's your favorite? Is there one
that you're missing? I'll explain why.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
Next.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Don't go far because you're waking up with fifth in
the morning. Kiss one else seven one.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
So my best friend Abby and I door dashed Applebee's
the other day and I was like, I cannot tell
you the last time I had Applebee's. And I almost
made fun of her, not because she was going, but
because I'm like, wow, like, there's just I don't think
about chain restaurants as someone that you would door Dash
or Uber eats. But again, I'm wicked naive to that
(31:53):
stuff because every time I put stuff in my Uber
Eats cart, I immediately delete it once I see the
service face. We're in the midst of doing the daily
debrief on today, I choose one big thing and run
it back, giving you a chance to get involved, especially
if you're just starting out your morning. I might be
the first person that you're hearing out loud today. And
if that's the case, Hello, Happy Monday. So we were
(32:15):
chatting about your favorite chain restaurants that are either still
in existence or have gone away.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
I don't think they're completely gone yet, but one restaurant
that's starting to disappear is Freshes, and I'm so sad
about it.
Speaker 1 (32:29):
The hot fudge cake, the.
Speaker 4 (32:31):
Vegetable soup, the onion rings.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
Yeah, I'm definitely gonna miss Freshes.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
I was waiting for someone to contribute that one. Thank
you for the talkback with Tiff. When you search kiss
on iHeartRadio, the microphone's next to the play button in
the top right hand corner, and that's how you can
leave me voice notes.
Speaker 3 (32:45):
I'm a big voice, notes Gal, I have not gone
to a Freshes.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
I have contributed as to why they're going out of business,
but I have had Fresh's pizza at a New Year's
Eve party one time someone made it.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
And I have seen that viral video of all.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
The Frishes like big boys kind of locked into that
like caged area that's jarring. Everything that we do gets
podcasted for you to catch up whenever you have time.
You just type tip Tiff in the morning in the
search bar of the iHeartRadio app. We're here, Babe for you.
