Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. Kiss, good morning,
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
I would say the biggest story in Cincinnati right now,
especially on the relationship front, is Rachel Kirconnell and Matt James,
who I will explain to you in one second. Feel
a little bit like an imposture though, if I'm being
honest and transparent with you, because I never watch The
Bachelor ind or Bachelorette, and they're a couple from the show,
and I also have a very thick lens, if that

(00:33):
makes sense when I look at relationships through social media.
I know that that was a couple that people really
loved here in Cincinnati, and beyond right, they loved their love.
People love love on social media. But my lens is
pretty thick on what I believe in what I don't.
So I feel like an impostor talking about this couple

(00:54):
because I didn't really spend a lot of time with them.
But what I am an expert in is breakups and
healing and recovering from really sad, sad breakups, and I.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Think you are too.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
I think if you've if you've gone through a breakup,
it does not matter if you're a millionaire, does not
matter if you're an athlete. It does not matter if
you are fifty, It does not matter if you're fifteen.
The feeling of a breakup is the same regardless of
your status.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
It is the.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Worst feeling on the planet. And that is something I'm
an expert in. So that's what we're gonna talk about. Okay,
talk back with Tiff on iHeartRadio if you're super locked
into this subject as far as Rachel and Matt James go,
because I'll need you to hold my hand a little
bit through this. I might get some of the information
wrong or five win three seven four nine, one oh
seven one. It's ultimately going to lead to us maybe
chit chatting about some breakups that you've gone through and

(01:42):
maybe how you've recovered.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
If you have.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Advice for someone going through a breakup, I wonder if
it's the same as mine. All right, So Matt James,
Rachel Kirconnell. It's a bachelorette couple. They had been together
for a couple of years. They were really popular on
social media because they did a lot of food blogging
and reviews, and like I said, people fell in love
with their social media presence. Last week, I saw that

(02:07):
Matt James had posted like a like a prey for
me type of post.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Like days or.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Even a day after the two of them had posted
like a food blogging review on vacation. A day later,
He's like, pray for us. We're no longer together. Internet
was like, what, like, did you have to like re
up on some paid content that you know I'd already
agreed to.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Did you break up in London on vacation.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
I've never ever had anyone on the show that's gotten
broken up with on vacation. And if you are comfortable
sharing that story, I'd really love to chat with you.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
So, Internets, what are you talking about? What's going on?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
So Alex Cooper does what she does call her daddy.
Episode is an hour and a half long, came out
maybe six seven hours ago, and I'm gonna play a
single clip here that I think a lot of girls
and a guys can relate to. When you're in the
midst of, you know, a three or four year relationship
and you're trying to figure out if you have kids
or you're can get married right, and there's sometimes a

(03:07):
sense of gaslighting of yeah, this will come, this will come.
Rachel says she was completely blindsided by the fact that
they won, broke up in two, that.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
He had promised her all these things.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Next thing, you know, we're in London at a pizza
shop and it's all over.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
It was like just confusing to look back on now,
because when we would talk about things, he always seemed
like he was on the same page privately and publicly,
you know, whether we were doing interviews or whether he
was replying to people in comments like talking about getting

(03:45):
married and everything like that. So yeah, I guess it's
just hard to think about. It's just one of those
things that you replay a lot over and over again.
Because the words were there, and you know, us talking
about taking the next up. All of that was fine,
but you know, the actions obviously weren't there.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
That one hits home.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
I think the words are there, right, we were talking
about we were going to do this, we had this plan,
We had this plan, and whether or not you were, like,
you've gone through something like this and the actions weren't there.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Now, I don't want to throw.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Him completely under the bus, right, because there's always two
sides to a breakup and and whatnot. Was she just
hearing that and just kind of hearing what she wanted
to hear, or was he gaslighting her. We don't know.
Five one three seven nine one seven one. I would
love to hear your breakup story, if you've if you've
got if you feel comfortable sharing. It took me a

(04:43):
really long time to feel comfortable sharing mind, so I
get it if you're not in that position. But also
advice for anyone going through a breakup. If you have
something I I'm more than happy to put it on
the air.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
My biggest thing, it took me a solid.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Two years two I counted it h in eighty days
to recover from my split from the finance guy. And
you go through all it's like grief. Breaking up with
somebody is is grief. You go through the five stages
of it. The one thing that heals a breakup, and
it is the hardest thing to do is time, time, time, time, time.

(05:19):
You have to give it time, you have to give
it space, time and space. But unfortunately that is the
hardest thing to do, is just sit in it.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
It's awful, awful, awful, awful.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
That's my biggest piece of advice. And there is always
light at the end of the tunnel. It will get better.
Let's continue this conversation, though it only works if you
hit me up. You can talk back with Tiff.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Forgive me a call. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven to one.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
That was Overnight Celebrity.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Speaking of Overnight and celebrities, we're talking about Matt James
and Rachel kirconnell. If you're a fan, then you know
what's going down between them. If not, it's really about
the fact that they broke up. Now, if you are
triggered by breakups and heartache right now, it might not
be the best place for you to be in. And
I I really do get that. So if you need

(06:03):
to change the channel for a little bit, you you
go ahead and do that. You protect your own peace.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Breakups can be very triggering, I know, regardless of the
celebrity world or our regular world. Here in Cincinnati is
a very delicate situation. We're swapping stories and also sharing
advice on how to get through a breakup. If you
are just joining us, good morning.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Yes, it's actually when me and my pet split on
my cousin, he actually cheated on me and got the
girl pregnant and went around saying that I had hooked
all of the holes in the condoms on purpose to
get try to get pregnant. So he made me.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
You're like, no, no, I didn't do that.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
No, I did not do that.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
So did you already had a baby?

Speaker 5 (06:49):
I didn't want another one with somebody I lived in
love with.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
So did you retaliate with anything, Patty?

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Or he was just saying that.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
I was still broken by this.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
I really just like asort the shock and just BOMBI
fide and went for a life. You know, I had
a lot of fights, so what's wrong? But yeah, and
then about five years later she came back and apologized
to me and said it is actually a girl she
was cheating on me with cousin who didn't.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Well, thank you for the call, Anonymous out of Loveland.
I appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Listen. You will get through it.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
I've shared my advice before on this show, and I'm
more than happy to do it again because I'm always
catching new years listening.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
If I'm the first voice you're hearing today, good morning,
So if you have advice, hit me up. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Katie Perry on Kiss one oh seven one, and she
just announced that tour unfortunately not coming to Cincinnati. But
you know who just added a second date to Cincy
is Nate Bergazi.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
He's a comedian.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
I just saw that October twenty sixth I believe at
the Heritage love him. It's like the number one thing
on my TikTok. All right, you're waking up with Sive
in the morning. If you know who Matt James is
and Rachel Kirconnell, you know why we're talking about them.
Just got off of call her Daddy and we've been
chit chatting about breakups and such. If you have no
idea who they are, the gist of it is they
had a public breakup and it kind of led us

(08:09):
to swapping stories, but ultimately more like advice on how
to get through a breakup. I wanted to bring this
more into the positive light than the negative.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
So good morning, you're on the air.

Speaker 6 (08:19):
We only have one life to live. Yes, it hits
the fan to go through situations, but the optimism, the
optimistic in me will always say, do you have another
day to try something new?

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (08:31):
I wouldn't let this be a turning point, you know,
don't sit and ponder on what it could have been
what isn't and just go ahead and do it. That's
my best, has been my whole thing for two years.
I'm tired of letting people decide for me, or if
they can't do it, why do I still got to suffer?

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Whoo Well, thank you Anonymous for the advice. I appreciate that. Listen.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
It always gets better and I no longer have anger
for my ex at all.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
I mean, I was just sad that it ended.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
That's the trade off when you can, when you can
give up grief and you can let people off the hook,
you get your peace back, and you never want to
give up your peace
