Speaker 1 (00:01):
Glenn, you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
It's three things with tif on and the helicopter said,
we see it and we accept visual separation. What may
have happened, they may have seen something else, another helicopter,
another aircraft on final but they believed that they were
clear of the regional jet and for some reason, this
black Hawk helicopter thought they saw their interval, They thought

(00:27):
they saw the traffic, and they clearly didn't.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
We're learning that this might be just a tragic situation
last night, a little bit of insight as to what
possibly could have happened in DC. There's a very good
chance that you know what I'm talking about, but I'm
going to treat the scenario that you just in case
you don't, and just in case I'm catching somebody waking
up for the first time being like, what did I miss?

(00:50):
Because this is massive. A Army training helicopter carrying three
soldiers collided with an American Airlines passenger plane carrying sixty
passengers plus four crew members early this morning. It was
believed to be that maybe this could have been a
rescue mission, right they were treating it as so. But
the Potomac River is freezing it's not very deep, and

(01:12):
it was really hard.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
To try to find survivors.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
This morning, as of about seven fifty five, we learned
in a press conference that there are zero survivors.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
All sixty seven have tragically died.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
We're talking sons, mother's, brother's daughters, cousins, uncle's sister's nieces,
nephew's boyfriend's girlfriends, all of it. In fact, this is
a clip that I played from someone whose wife was
on board very early this morning.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Here it is, again just praying that somebody's pulling her
out of the river right now as we speak. That's
all I can very far. I'm just spraying the gun.
When's the last time she texted me we were land
that they're landing in twenty.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Ninees and he is text messages never went back to her.
I mean, absolutely tragic. Also, on board, we're learning about
youth US figure skaters, and you'll start to see those
posts come through. They already have coming from By the way,
this came from Wichita, Kansas, where there was a skating competition. Also,
Russian ice skating coaches and former world champions, two of

(02:12):
them were on board as well. I know that twenty
twenty five has been really hard to digest amongst us,
all right, with LA and bitter cold temperatures here in
our own neighborhoods, and inflation and economy and all those things.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
But I want to let you know that we will
get through it. There is always light at the end
of the tunnel. There be peace again. Okay.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
That Fire Aid benefit concert by the Way to benefit
LA is happening tonight on Kiss one oh seven one,
starting at ten o'clock. Okay, Second, and three things you
need to know. Let's giggle a little bit if you're
a fan of theo Vonn, Him and Kat Williams were
doing a podcast together and they talked about Dayton, Ohio.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Yeah you grew up in Ohio? Huh yeah? Did you
grow up by Dave Chappelle? You guys grew up near
each other. Dave Schappelle's not even from Ohio? Is any
out there? Yous from Dayton? I'm from Dayton? Are you really?

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Chappelle's from DC. Oh damn, I'll be of DC. Sorry,
but he lives in Dayton now though. Yeah, he has
a lot of he owns probably five million dollars worth
of property out there. Dang, he's done really well for
our Dayton Ohio.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Shout out to Dane, Ohio. You know, I have not
been up there in a long time. But isn't that
where the new BUCkies is going?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Do you remember? That was like a big story.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
I don't know if they've broke ground on that one yet,
but you know we'll be taking a trip up there.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Already than lastly.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
In three things you need to know, Zane Mallick is
out on tour this week. You know, months after the
passing of Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson was in the
crowd last night.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Here's a clip for you. I know what's friend of
mine this year. I don't want to give his location away.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
But let me see it tonight so you'll see that
sweet moment on the internet as well. All Right, that
is three things you need to know to get your
day started. And since he for January thirtieth, it's almost
the last day of the month, coming up around nine
oh five. If you have rent due in two days,
I have your chance to win a thousand bucks.
