Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's three things with tif on.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Experiences like this go.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
We expect to continue our operations in the fire Department
for multiple days, and then I would expect the investigation
goes longer than that.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
All right. That is the voice of DC Fire Chief
John Donnelly explaining the expected timeline for the recovery efforts
in DC. I'm going to treat this, since it's very
early in the morning, as if you might have no
idea what's going on. Although you might have come across
some of these videos. If you haven't, you will. Last night,
a military helicopter, a training helicopter carrying three soldiers, collided
(00:38):
with an American airline's sixty passenger plane plus four crew
members aboard. They collided and crashed into the Potomac River. Now,
conditions wise, it's dark, it's freezing in DC. The Potomac
River is freezing covered in ice. Unfortunately, I think as
(01:00):
his sun comes up, this will turn more to a
recovery mission than a rescue mission. Daily Mail is reporting
that nineteen people or nineteen bodies rather have been found.
None of them are alive so far. I also have
some audio of a guy that was just simply waiting
for his wife. She had texted him and said, Hey,
(01:22):
we're about to land. This is what happened. Just praying
that somebody's pulling her out of the river right now
as we speak. That's all very far.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
I'm just spraying to God, when's the last time she
texted me and we were landing, that they're landing.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
In twenty minutes and what From the rest of that video,
his text messages never went back through to her. This
flight was coming from Wichita, Kansas, landing at Reagan International Airport.
Also hearing that the US figure skating team was on board.
I mean, this is just tragic. Waters of the Potomac
(01:58):
are about eight feet deep. Saying that a body at
this temperature really can only survive in that condition for
about ninety minutes, Thinking of them, thinking of you this morning,
thinking about just our world right in the United States
at the moment. We've had major events happen and we're
(02:19):
not even out of January twenty twenty five yet. So
I'm thinking, I'm thinking, I'm holding I'm holding my gratitude
tight to me this morning. I also think as the
we're learning about this together at the same time, right,
So when there's more, I'll report it to Tragic Second
in three things you need to know this morning. My
(02:40):
suspicions were confirmed yesterday that Rihanna did show up to
court for asap Rocky, her the father of her children,
who is charged with two felonies that could get him
twenty four years in prison. He did deny that pretty
sweet plea deal. The way it worked out is that
asap Rocky caused like some sort of chaos on the
front side right while they snuck Rihanna in through the
(03:02):
garage in the back door. There she sat next to
asap Rocky's mom in asap Rocky's sister. Now I am
hearing reports that she looked annoyed during asap Relly's testimony.
Real quick, if you're like, what happened with this case again?
Asaprelly is accusing asap Rocky of shooting him with a gun.
(03:24):
And here's asap Relly's testimony. I do have a little
clip of that yesterday.
Speaker 5 (03:27):
When you said pointed at where on your body was
a point towards my stomach, like towards like my head
is a little like everything was happening, sovas you know what.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
I mean, you know, they must be very confident that
they can prove reasonable doubt on this one. I'm also
hearing rumors that some of the bullets might have been planted,
and that asap Relly was the one that found the bullets,
So the accuser found the bullets. When there's more on
that one, I'll have it for you. Lastly, in three
Things you Need to Know, Fire Aid tonight benefiting Los
(03:59):
Angeles with major headliners. Billie Eilish, I mean, the list
has thirty artists on it at minimum. Katie Perry, Jelly
roll In more, Miley Cyrus Lady. I mean, like so
many people. You will hear that live on Kiss one
oh seven tonight at ten o'clock. The best way to
keep listening to Tiff in the Morning is on the
iHeartRadio AP when you search Kiss one oh seven one.
Good morning, Hi in the morning. I'm in the same
(04:22):
boat as you. You're waking up with Tiff in the
morning on Kiss one o seven one. Confused, devastated, trying
to figure out what happened in DC last night. I'm
gonna treat this situation kind of like you're my neighbor.
My neighbor has has no social media, so he just
walks the earth in a complete oblivion until someone tells
him what's going on. I mean, what a what a
(04:44):
way to live? Right? Like yesterday, for example, when we
were outside, he had no idea really what happened on
the Brent Spence Bridge the night before. I'm like, you
didn't hear about the guy under the bridge? He's like, no,
So I just in case you're like my neighbor, who's
it's nuts, But just in case. Blackhawk helicopter with three
(05:04):
soldiers on it crashed into a American Airlines flight carrying
sixty passengers plus four crew members. When I just reported
in three things you need to know that they are
it's a search and rescue and recovery mission. At this point,
was still just kind of waiting for the sun to
come up. I was chit chatting with Mike McConnell from
seven hundred WLW and he and I were into the
(05:25):
same boat. He's like, how did the Blackhawk not know
that that plane was there? And I think this is
going to end up being the result of just really
unfortunate events piecing together and people who are maybe not
experienced right that Blackhawk was filled with or filled. Like
I said, three people in training. Maybe the night guy
(05:47):
with air traffic control was kind of newer on the job,
or maybe not paying attention because he had asked him
over the microphone. You know, hey, five seconds before the crash,
Hey do you see that plane? So there really wasn't
a lot of warn I'm just thinking this is going
to be chopped up to a lot of tragedy. We'll
table this Three Things you need to Know coming up
at seven fifty. I do it every day at this time,
(06:09):
I'll have more details, etc. I'm holding my gratitude tight
to me this morning. I bet you're doing the same.
Let's take a break. Are you cool with that? Let's
go commercial free two songs from now. Where's the weirdest
place you've seen a piercing? It could be on your
own body, because the talkbacks I got from yesterday are insane.
We're gonna get to that next. You're waking up with
(06:31):
fifth in the morning.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Kis let us seven one.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Hey, good morning, I'm taking a little break from the
news out of DC. I'll get to it in Three
Things you Need to Know. At seven fifty, we're in
the midst of talking about piercings, piercings that you've gotten,
piercings that you may have seen on someone and it
could be your own body. Actually, this is a conversation
that's kind of carrying over a little bit from yesterday.
(06:57):
That's why I often recommend catching up on the TIF
in the Morning podcast us whenever you have time. That
way you don't feel out of the loop. It all
kind of started from Cardib's butt crack piercing. Mm hmmm,
mm hmmm. I had a lot of questions about the
cleanliness of that and how that works, right, I could
just be naives. So I'm asking, where are your piercings?
And we have yet to find a butt crack?
Speaker 6 (07:17):
Good morning between the chest?
Speaker 1 (07:21):
You got like like in the center there? Yes, So this.
Speaker 7 (07:27):
Is it?
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Is it dermal harder to keep clean than let's say,
like a hoop or something.
Speaker 6 (07:33):
I don't think so. Honestly, I feel like it's ways.
I feel like it's way easier to clean than a
real piercing. Taking it out, you don't have to worry
about ticking it out, clean around it it.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
So can you offer insight on the cracked diamond then
that Cardi B has is that going to be is
that you think that one's going to be hard to clean.
Speaker 6 (07:52):
I feel like that will be hard to clean, but
I feel like the proper white baby water.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Yeah. Okay, so your friend in the background, she knows
the butt cracked diamond as well.
Speaker 6 (08:07):
Fout.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
You guys are too funny. I appreciate you giggling along
side Tip in the morning here five one three seven
four one o seven one. I have yet to find
a BC piercing on Kiss one oh seven one. Hi,
good morning to you. You're probably waking up to the
same news that I woke up to a few hours
ago about the DC helicopter plane crash. I'm gonna table
(08:34):
that and have more details for you in three things
coming up twenty eighth minutes from now, around seven fifty Okay,
I do it every day at that time, but we're
taking a little break from the conversation. Where are your piercings?
This is a little bit of left over from yesterday.
We talked a lot about Cardi B's new piercing. If
you don't know where it is, you can get caught
(08:55):
up on the podcast at your leisure. I have yet
to find someone in Cincinnati with the same piercing. Good morning,
you're on the air.
Speaker 8 (09:03):
Hi.
Speaker 7 (09:03):
Yes, So my name is Jess.
Speaker 9 (09:04):
I was just called about the piercing thing.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
Yeah, yeah, go ahead, you're on the air.
Speaker 6 (09:11):
My card stare thing was on my wrist.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
It's a dermo.
Speaker 7 (09:14):
That's probably what cardip got.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Okay, so you're saying that the cracked diamond is most
likely a dermal piercing.
Speaker 6 (09:20):
Yes, and you screw it on like they pop it in,
and then when you want to change the diamond, they
just screw you screw it on.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
Okay. And what if you want to take it out
just to start, just.
Speaker 6 (09:30):
The diamond comes out, you have to get it removed.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Oh wow, okay, so this is like a commitment. Yes,
what's your name?
Speaker 9 (09:38):
In mine for about five years and I got it removed.
Speaker 6 (09:40):
Because it kept getting infected.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Well, that's what Sarah and I were saying about the
cracked diamond, is that you know there's a chance I
think I get infected. Yes, yes, very moist area, you know, yes,
of course. What's your name and what neighborhood you wake
it up with?
Speaker 4 (09:55):
Men?
Speaker 6 (09:56):
I'm Jess and I'm from Forest's Park.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Thanks for the call, Jess, I appreciate you. We got
time for at least another one. Good morning.
Speaker 9 (10:02):
Yeah. I was scoring through TikTok two days ago and
I seen that this girl, she was probably in her
late twenties, got her Achilles Piers.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Oh no why, I have no.
Speaker 9 (10:14):
Idea, but it looked like it was the most painful
piersing I've ever seen in my life.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
No, no, no, no, oh my god. Did they show
her getting it pierced or just like the aftermath she
showed the whole video. So I'm assuming that's a no
for you.
Speaker 9 (10:31):
Yeah, no, no, no, I left tattoos and piersing, but
that's a little bit too fart.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Yes or no on the butt crack piercing, Oh no,
definitely not so No, okay, we haven't found one yes yet.
What's your name and what neighborhood you in?
Speaker 9 (10:44):
I'm Samantha from Ofort.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
Samantha, thank you for the call. Good morning.
Speaker 8 (10:48):
I've heard of the female getting there Vagina Piers, Oh
my god.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
No, good morning. You're waking up with Tippy the morning
on Kiss one O seven one. I had no idea
that our show was going to go in this direction
this morning. When I had asked about the places that
you've seen piercings before now could be on your own body.
This is all stemming from a conversation that I had
(11:16):
yesterday about Cardi B's new piercing. You can get caught
up on the podcast if you're like, wait a minute,
where is this thing? I didn't think Cincinnati had had it,
had it in us to be able to compete, but
boy was I wrong? Good morning?
Speaker 7 (11:31):
Okay, So I have what's called a Christina Christina and
if you don't know what it is, look at up.
But okay, And it can be difficult to clean, but
if it's done properly, it should.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
Be Christina piercing. Let me just should Oh my god,
you are the one that has the Christina.
Speaker 7 (11:53):
I have one yet?
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Girl? How long have you had Christina?
Speaker 7 (11:58):
Probably since either twenty sixteen or twenty seventeen.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
I'm a dead girl. I like, walk me through why
you got that? Has it affected your sex life? Tell
me more? Oh no, no not at all, it hasn't. No,
can you still in what? They go ahead?
Speaker 10 (12:15):
No?
Speaker 1 (12:15):
You got no, you you go ahead. I have a
million questions, but you got so.
Speaker 7 (12:19):
You know, people think, oh, it's gonna get caught.
Speaker 6 (12:21):
On your underwear and blah, blah blah blah.
Speaker 7 (12:22):
Like I said, if it's done right and it's kind
of like the surface of your skin, it it doesn't
affect you at all.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Okay, but does it affect that area you know when
you're intimate with someone, right, like that's where we go
when we need right.
Speaker 11 (12:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (12:36):
Right, No, it has not at all because it's more
at the top.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Okayn. Did it hurt so a little bit?
Speaker 10 (12:44):
Yes?
Speaker 7 (12:44):
Because what they do they take this tool where they
carve out your skin and it is like the smallest
circle you could imagine, and it's kind of like like
a falt. I don't know, I've always described it as
like a salt blade and they twist it to carve
it out and then they kind of like pop it
in and it's permanent.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
Thanks girl, I love that you called me and shared
this because now I'm less naive, you know, and now
I feel like I'm up with it. What's your name,
by the way, what neighborhood you and if you want
to share?
Speaker 7 (13:15):
I am Casey, Casey.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
Thank you so much for listening to Tiff in the
morning and calling. I am afraid to answer this next
call just in case, but I think we might have
another one good morning.
Speaker 8 (13:27):
So I don't have the crackering, but I have the
other part here the Christina party.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Why okay? Well, I wonder if your answer was the
same as Casey's. Why did you get it? When did
you get it? And how does it feel about it?
Speaker 7 (13:46):
As a as a bet?
Speaker 8 (13:49):
I lost the bet so I had to go get it.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
I got it about fifteen years ago. It didn't feel it.
I don't feel like it's.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
In so you Yeah.
Speaker 11 (14:00):
My sarcer said that.
Speaker 7 (14:01):
They had one issue and one woman had to come.
Speaker 8 (14:03):
Back and get it out because every time she would
walk there, she'd have an orgasm. My mom, what's this
that if she went and got hers done?
Speaker 7 (14:15):
I would have to get mine done in her?
Speaker 4 (14:17):
She did? How I lost the bet?
Speaker 1 (14:19):
What's your name? By the way, what neighborhood you in?
Speaker 4 (14:21):
I'm in Taylor now.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
My name's Ashley Ashley Casey. Girls, girls, you know I
feel less naive now about this world in Cincinnati. I
need to stop talking and play the music and we're
gonna We're gonna just do that right now when you
need to know she's got you.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
It's three things with tip on Fight.
Speaker 12 (14:45):
Fifty three forty two was under the command of four
crew members and carried sixty passengers, for a total of
sixty four people on board. We are actively working with local, state,
and federal authorities on emergency response efforts, and the American
Airlines caure Team has been activated to assist our passengers
and their families.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
All right, that's the CEO, Robert Isisam of American Airlines.
Forgive me, we're running a little late. With three things
you need to know. I wanted to wait until the
press conference hit so that I could get the absolute
latest information on what happened at Reagan International Airport tragically,
and this might be the first time you're hearing it.
Zero passengers have survived that plane crash. I'm going to
(15:27):
start from the beginning, just in case you have absolutely
no idea what's going on. I get it. This might
be the first time that you're really getting settled with
your morning training. Helicopter with three soldiers entered airspace at
Reagan National Airport in the late hours of the night.
Where a plane coming from Wichita, Kansas, with sixty passengers
four crew members coming into Reagan International. They collided and
(15:51):
crashed into the Potomac River. Now earlier this morning, nineteen
bodies had been recovered at this point. I believe we
have twenty, but the hope was still alive that it
was dark work out potentially that they were going to
find a miracle somewhere that someone out of the sixty
seven people involved in this would have survived. And officials
are reporting this morning that there have been done. I'm
(16:13):
thinking to you, I'm thinking of our community. I'm holding
my gratitude tight to me this morning. I know this
month has been really tough as far as breaking news.
A lot of tragic news coming out of twenty twenty
five so far, and we haven't even made it out
of January yet. I'm also hearing reports that a Youth
Development US figure skating team was a board, as well
as two Russian figure skaters and a bunch of other sons, daughters, aunts, uncles, mothers, fathers, girlfriends, wives,
(16:39):
husbands and beyond. And I'm thinking to them, and I'm
thinking of you this morning. If there's more on that one,
I'll have it for you. Second, and three things you
need to know. We're going to transition a little bit
towards the Grammy's happening this Sunday. Few things I want
to mention performer's list has been upgraded. We've now got
Chris Martin and Laney Wilson, Brittany how Brad Paisley, Stevie Wonder,
(17:01):
Cynthia or Rivo and more. The Grammys are set to
pay tribute to the LA wildfires. I'm assuming this incident
will also be mentioned at the Grammys this weekend. Trevor
Noah is hosting Real Quick. Best New Artists of the
Year is a really stacked category this year. We've got
Sabrina Carpenter, Chapel, Rowan Dochi, Benson Boone, Shaboozi, Ray, Teddy
Swims and the way in which new Artist is calculated
(17:25):
because you're, like, Sabrina Carpenter's not new, So where did
this come from? The eligibility period takes place September sixteenth,
twenty twenty three to August thirtieth of twenty twenty four.
An artist must have a minimum of five singles, slash
tracks or a complete album to be eligible for Best
New Artists, and you can only be eligible one time
(17:49):
you have and you can only have a maximum of
thirty singles or tracks or completed three albums previously released.
It is a little Dicey, the other one that gets
a lot of like, well, what's going on here? Is
a song of the Year and Record of the Year.
Song of the Year is awarded to songwriters. Record of
the Year is recorded is for singles. Right, so song
(18:09):
of the Year a bar song, Birds of a Feather
Die with a smile, Fortnite, good Luck Babe, not like us,
please please please in Texas hold them? And then Record
of the Year this year is now and then by
the Beatles Texas hold Them Espresso three sixty, Birds of
a Feather, not like Us, good Luck Babe, and Fortnite's
I'm looking forward to the show. I will most certainly
(18:29):
have all the details for you Monday morning very quickly. Lastly,
in three things you need to know this morning. In
the same vein as music and award shows and whatnot,
Fire Aid is happening tonight starring Billie Eilish, Katie Perry,
Lady Gaga, Jelly Roll and many more. All the proceeds
will go towards benefiting those in LA and it will
be split across two venues and you will hear it
(18:52):
live here on Kiss one oh seven one at ten
o'clock tonight. All right, we've got to take a break
from this stuff coming up at eight oh five. If
you live in the West Side, you know about the
sign war, call me and I'll explain why. Next Hi,
good morning. You're waking up with Tiff in the morning
on a kiss one O seven one. It's my job
to kind of reset every time I open up the
mic and talk to you, and reset every time we
(19:15):
start a new hour. So there's a very good chance
that you have heard this, but there's also a very
good chance that you haven't. And we just covered it
in three things. You need to know that there are
confirmed no survivors out of that plane crash out of
Reagan International Airport after a military helicopter or an army helicopter,
(19:35):
a Blackhawk helicopter collided with an American Airlines flight carrying
sixty passengers and for crew members. And I'm in the
same position as you learning about this at the same time,
digesting the information, processing it, and also trying to make
sense and understand how this could have even happened. And
(19:56):
you'll see lots of videos and then from here you'll
start to see lots of stories come out about who
was on board, including two national champion figure skaters, youth
development figure skaters, and a son's daughters, uncles, aunts, cousins, mothers, brothers, girlfriends, boyfriends. Tragic,
(20:18):
really tragic. Hey, and I also want to take a
second to recognize that twenty twenty five has been an
actual war for us. You know, there's a lot, there's
a lot happening just our own day to day life,
struggling a little bit with just the cold and inflation
and this and that, and you know, and then you've
(20:38):
got la and this, and we haven't quite made it
out of twenty twenty five yet. Here's what I do know, though,
and this is what I'm good at. We're gonna be
all right together. You and I were gonna lock in,
take a deep breath. We'll find a way through this.
We always do them. And I want to bring some
joy to your life. So coming up around eight thirty,
Shay of your chance to win tickets to the Best
Marti Grad party that happens in Sinci, Okay. You'll need
(20:59):
the key west Side and it includes all your food
and beverage. You don't have to worry about paying for anything.
If you know anything about this sign war that's happening
on the west Side. Five win three seven four nine,
one oh seven one. I'm gonna get to that next.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning kiss one
O seven to one.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
Such a depressing, sad day today with the plane crash.
I know, I know, I know, we were just talking
about I have been on morning. No survivors out of
DC all sixty seven are believed to tragically died in
a horrible, horrible incident that feels like it could have
been prevented. I'm going to table this for now. Okay,
we're going to get into that. I have some new
(21:38):
things free around eight fifty. You can always pop over
to our sister station seven hundred WLW. Okay, they're wall
to wall coverage on him. We're in the midst of
talking about what's going on in our own world here,
and that is what the heck is happening on the
West Side. So you already know that I I I
(21:59):
live on the East Side. But I also don't really
know to my depths of my core and my soul
about the battle between the East and the West Side.
So I don't want to come off as an impostor.
But my girl Megan left me a voice note this morning.
You can talk back with Tiff by the way on
the iHeartRadio app. When you search Kiss, you'll see the
microphone right next to the play button. She let me
(22:20):
know about these sign wars that are happening right now
on the West Side that are at least bringing joy
and levity to her life.
Speaker 10 (22:28):
I've seen like, sorry, I'm just waking up, but I've
seen like four different West Side places start making signs
just talking crap. So the first one was like that
Sunoco gas station, and they are like privately owned. They
are like notorious for either making like questionable.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
Posts or they're just very clearly privately owned. I love
love this, love this. Here's what I need from you, though,
because if you live on the West Side, you probably
drive through this and you know this stories. West Side's
the keyword for the Marti Gras tickets coming up in
a few minutes. Let's do this five one, three, seven,
four nine one oh seven one. Fill me in on
(23:10):
the tee. Good morning. You're waking up with TIF in
the morning on Kiss one oh seven one, where a
couple of minutes out from your chance to win tickets
to the best Marti Gras party in town. I mean,
it includes all your food and beverage. It supports homeless
shelters here in Cincy, and I'm sure you could use
a little bit of a break from life. Right you
will need the keyword west side. West Side's the keyword.
(23:31):
We're in the midst of talking about these sign wars
that I they were sent to me. I didn't know
this was going on on the West Side. I don't
want to feel like an imposter, so I'm gonna let
you explain it. Good morning, you're on the air.
Speaker 13 (23:43):
My Ning's kicking by the way, so hey, Tim Tiger.
But literally that has been going on since I was
in high school in nineteen ninety nine.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
Okay, I love this. I'm glad you're an expert. Kind
of walk me through briefly. What do I need to know?
My girl Megan was also about this this morning. We
need the joy and levity after the breaking news.
Speaker 13 (24:04):
Yeah, I know, God, God help us, man, I'm telling you.
But literally, there's that gas station.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
I don't know if she was talking.
Speaker 13 (24:11):
About the same one, but it's like a BP that's
privately owned in Bridgetown and it's literally like off of
gun Way. They have been putting up their own like
little blurbs for the longest time, and it's really it's
all just to drive customers and to keep people happy,
and that's honestly what we need. But literally, like it'll
be linked with like what's going on in the world,
(24:32):
like the election. I don't know, if they had a
rum customer yesterday, they'll be like.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
We don't have any time for that today.
Speaker 14 (24:39):
If you come in, be happy, Like they put stuff
like that all the time, and like I would drive
past their going to Oakhill's every morning. Yeah, and literally
I'm like, oh my god, it's so funny.
Speaker 13 (24:50):
And of course we go in there, you know, and
it is privately in but yeah, I think a lot
of other people are getting into that because it's a
way to drive like customer sales online. And a lot
of these places are owned by like older people, you know,
they're older West Side families and they're losing business to
(25:11):
like online sales.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Well, Tiffany, what neighborhood are you in this morning? This morning?
Speaker 13 (25:17):
I am from del High and Bridgetown, but I've lived
in Fort Mitchell now, so they don't really do that
in Techy, but they definitely do it. And prey sale
deal High and Bridgetown.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
I love that, Tiffany. Thanks for the call, girl. I
appreciate you all right now, bye t see yuh. It
feels weird to hear my own name. Bye Tiff, Bye,
tiff Uh. Chance at the tickets coming next. Don't go far.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
One. Hey, thanks for your patients. With the breaking news
about the plane crash. Our radio clocks got pushed a
little bit, you know, and our world everything operates on
a time clock here, and I had to report that
news and wait for the press conference. So I say
all that to say, if you want the Marti gra
tickets right now, you can start dialing. If you have
(26:01):
the keyword that I had mentioned earlier in the show.
I will forgive you if you don't have it, because
it's just one of those mornings, and I get it.
You know. I'm trying to meet you wherever you are
five one three seven nine one seven one if you
would like to go to the Marti Graus party on Tuesday,
February eighteenth for free, I got you. Okay. We're in
the midst of talking about these sign wars on the
(26:21):
West Side that they were sent to me Meghan from
the West Side screenshot had sent a few things sent
me over a voice stone, and I said, I love
a good old fashioned dramatic story, you know, I love it.
So I don't want to feel like an impostor because
I've never seen these gas stations on the west side
and this is where you're coming in. Good morning, Hi, Tiff,
I'm on the west side.
Speaker 15 (26:42):
I was calling about the sign.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
Yeah, so we just heard about a BP, but the
one I'm getting screenshots of our ward Way and Snoko,
what are you here to update me on?
Speaker 15 (26:53):
Yes, So it all started with we all wanted everybody
or we wanted the build the teeth.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
Wrong? Do you you don't work for them?
Speaker 4 (27:03):
Right?
Speaker 13 (27:04):
No?
Speaker 1 (27:04):
I live right by both of them. Okay, got it,
got it?
Speaker 3 (27:06):
Got it?
Speaker 1 (27:07):
Okay, yeah, spill the tea. Sorry, go ahead.
Speaker 15 (27:09):
So Ward Wye spelled cheese strong on their sign, Snoko
called them out on them, told them they needed a
spell check.
Speaker 13 (27:15):
Then Wardway put up a.
Speaker 15 (27:16):
Funny sign like, oh, we're hiring for spell checkers, just
you know, joking around, and then they said something about
having a spelling bee, and Snoko said, oh, I'm allergic
to bees, but we can.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
Still grab drinks. I love this, you know, some good
old fashioned neighborhood drama. What was your name, by the way,
when we love it, my name's Courtney.
Speaker 15 (27:40):
I'm Courtney and I'm calling from Bridgetown.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
Thanks for the call, gal, I appreciate you. Five one
three seven four nine one oh seven one if you uh, hope,
but if we have one open phone line for these
Marty Grut tickets, and hopefully you were able to pick
up on what the keyword was from the conversation we
just had nothing in this life is better to me,
sexier to me than a good old sense of humor.
Speaker 5 (28:06):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on kiss
one O seven to one.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
Good morning. I'm hoping you have a keyword for me
west side. Well, congratulations, you got the keyword in your
caller number ten.
Speaker 4 (28:18):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
You're welcome. I'm sure you could use the pick me
up after all this news that we're getting today.
Speaker 6 (28:23):
Oh my god, yeah, it's been terrible.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
Oh not, you're not afraid to travel, are you?
Speaker 4 (28:29):
No?
Speaker 1 (28:30):
Well, I didn't mean to bring I didn't mean to
bring us down. I'm so sorry. I just haven't had
anyone to talk to about this yet, and you're the
first person I'm debriefing with. What is your name and
what neighborhood are you in.
Speaker 6 (28:39):
Cassan justin Hamilton, Cassandra.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
Thank you for listening to Tiff in the morning every day.
I really appreciate you.
Speaker 4 (28:45):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Congratulations you're going to join us at Marty Grass. It's Tuesday,
February eighteenth. It's such a cool event. I'm really excited
for you to be there, My gal, I am so excited.
We'll keep your eyes out on the signs if you
go to the West Side.
Speaker 15 (28:59):
I'm actually driving down there for work today, so I'll
be looking.
Speaker 1 (29:03):
Okay, keep your eyes out on it. Thanks for the call.
If you took an l on these, I'll have one
more chance at the tickets tomorrow morning around eight thirty
if you want to come to a free Marti gra
party that benefits homeless shelters here in Sin Sin Okay.
Two songs from now, I'll trade you the three things
you need to know to get your day started here
in Cincy, and of course absolutely the latest that I'm
(29:24):
learning about DC. We'll get to that next.
Speaker 8 (29:29):
Lynn.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
You need to know She's got you it's three things
with tith On, and the helicopter said, we see it,
and we accept visual separation. What may have happened, They
may have seen something else, another helicopter, another aircraft on
final but they believe that they were clear of the
(29:49):
regional jet and for some reason, this black Hawk helicopter
thought they saw their interval, they thought they saw the traffic,
and they clearly didn't.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
We're learning that this might be just a tragic situation
last night, a little bit of insight as to what
possibly could have happened in DC. There's a very good
chance that you know what I'm talking about, but I'm
gonna treat the scenario that you just in case you don't,
and just in case I'm catching somebody waking up for
the first time being like, what did I miss? Because
(30:18):
this is massive. A Army training helicopter carrying three soldiers
collided with an American Airlines passenger plane carrying sixty passengers
plus four crew members early this morning. It was believed
to be that maybe this could have been a rescue mission,
right they were treating it as so. But the Potomac
River is freezing, it's not very deep, and it was
(30:41):
really hard to try to find survivors. This morning, as
of about seven fifty five, we learned in a press
conference that there are zero survivors. All sixty seven have
tragically died. We're talking sons, mother's, brothers, daughters, cousins, uncle's,
sister's nieces, nephew's, friend's girlfriends, all of it. In fact,
(31:02):
this is a clip that I played from someone whose
wife was on board very early this morning. Here it is,
again just praying that somebody's pulling her out of the
river right now as we speak.
Speaker 15 (31:11):
That's all I can pray.
Speaker 10 (31:13):
Far.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
I'm spraying to God, when's the last time.
Speaker 8 (31:15):
She texted me?
Speaker 1 (31:16):
And we were that they're landing in twenty minutes, and
he is text messages never went back to her. I mean,
absolutely tragic. Also on board, we're learning about youth US
figure skaters, and you'll start to see those posts come through.
They already have coming from by the way, this game
from Wichita, Kansas, where there was a skating competition. Also
(31:37):
Russian ice skating coaches and former world champions, two of
them were on board as well. I know that twenty
twenty five has been really hard to digest amongst us,
all right with LA and bitter cold temperatures here in
our own neighborhoods, and inflation and economy and all those things.
But I want to let you know that we will
(31:57):
get through it. There is always light at the end
of the tunnel. To be peace again.
Speaker 11 (32:02):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
That Fire Aid benefit concert by the Way to benefit
LA is happening tonight on Kiss one oh seven one,
starting at ten o'clock. Okay, Second, and three things you
need to know. Let's giggle a little bit if you're
a fan of Theo Vonn, Him and Kat Williams were
doing a podcast together and they talked about Dayton, Ohio. Yeah,
you grew up in Ohio? Huh yeah? Did you grow
up by Dave Chappelle? You guys grew up near each other.
(32:24):
Dave Chappelle's not even from Ohio? Is any Outthreate's from Dayton?
I'm from Dayton, are you really?
Speaker 4 (32:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (32:30):
Chappelle's from DC. Oh damn, I'll be of DC. Sorry,
but he lives in Dayton now though. Yeah, he has
a lot of he.
Speaker 6 (32:38):
Owns probably five million dollars worth of property out there.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Dang, he's done really well for our Dayton, Ohio. They
shout out to Dayton, Ohio. You know, I have not
been up there in a long time. But isn't that
where the new BUCkies is going? Do you remember? That
was like a big story. I don't know if they've
broke ground on that one yet, but you know we'll
be taking a trip up there, all right. Even lastly,
in three things you need to know, Zaane Malick is
(33:03):
out on tour this week. You know, months after the
passing of Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson was in the
crowd last night. Here's a clip for you.
Speaker 11 (33:14):
An almost friend of mine.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
Is here, sup here.
Speaker 3 (33:17):
I don't want to give this location away, but let
me see it tonight.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
So you'll see that sweet moment on the internet as well.
All right. That is three things you need to know
to get your day started in since he for January thirtieth,
it's almost the last day of the month, coming up
around nine to oh five. If you have rent due
in two days, I have your chance to win a
thousand bucks. I'm going to pay your bills on Kiss,
so don't go far.
Speaker 3 (33:38):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one O seven one, Well, good morning, we're almost a
week away from a Kendrick Lamar halftime show at the
super Bowl, looking forward to it.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
I think I'm curious. Some of his singles have been
coming across my playlist and I'm like, oh yeah, I
forgot about that. Oh yeah. So we'll spend more time
on Kendrick next week. Okay, TIFF's Commune Corner, come on in,
hang out, sit down. If I've never been in TIFF's
Community Corner, It's where I explore the random weirdness of
our different neighborhoods in Cincinnati and meet the different people
(34:12):
that live there and whatever it is that they do,
whatever is important to them. So I ask you every day,
what's your name of what neighborhood you call me from?
I like to learn about the different things. So I'm
curious if you remember our story about Zach. This's a
couple weeks old at this point if you're following along
on social Actually, if you're a visual person, this will
probably explain it better than my own wordscan. So at
the Tiff two F's Potter like the Wizard, as long
(34:33):
as your foot's not on the gas pedal. Look at
my stories right now. It's the number one thing there
that's the first thing there. Rather, Zach is the most
consistent man in my neighborhood. Never ghosts me. Sits on
the corner and was struggling during the really cold temperatures
that we had a couple of weeks ago. And I
came in here and I said, hey, do you have
any camping gear? You remember this story right, and people
(34:53):
had dropped stuff off et cetera. And ME just hooked
Zack up and he was like, cool, just made our
own neighborhood, just to hair better. Well, through that process,
I was introduced to Callen, who was ten years old.
In his family, his sister is parents. They're the hind family.
I believe they live in Amelia. And they said, well, hey,
we put together these homeless bags. So I had them
(35:15):
on the show. I got to experience what the homeless
bags were like, et cetera.
Speaker 9 (35:19):
Here you go.
Speaker 11 (35:20):
I usually help about the homeless by give him old likes,
chef like snacks, glosh hats and jackets, toothpaste, teethburst, sleeping the.
Speaker 4 (35:32):
Something every year.
Speaker 1 (35:33):
That's Adam. That's Adam's dad there, Well that's Adam, that's
Kallen's dad there. You heard at the end and I said, well,
what's in these bags? What's in this cool? What's in
the back? What's in my bag? And they had brought
one over so I had a chance to see them
packing it. There's socks and hats. You just heard them
there talking about snacks and they're a sleeping bag. This
is the project that they all started on your own,
(35:54):
and I think this is the part you're gonna love.
Callen said, I don't want a birthday this year because
I and this is.
Speaker 11 (36:02):
Why I didn't want Gish, because I didn't want the
homeless people to like just sya fiut out the.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
Trash cans and all that. Yeah, in the one time
you get cold as a parent, having to explain why
someone's on the corner asking for help, that has to
be a big parent moment.
Speaker 7 (36:19):
It definitely was, Yeah, and it was definitely one of
those things that kind of broke both me and my
wife down.
Speaker 1 (36:25):
Okay, so what we did is we took all this,
you know this, this and they put it into action
and now they're collecting over like a hundred bags. This
is like over the last four years that they pass out.
I figured you would love this story. TIFFs community corner Man.
We like to take all the people in the different
neighborhoods in the tri State and learn about them and
experience kind of like the the neighborhood heroes, the unsung
(36:48):
heroes maybe. And if you have someone in your life
that you're like, oh my god, if you would love
chit chatting with this person, because you know me, I
love to chit chat. I like to get to know people.
If you've ever heard my show and you hear me
talk to people on the phone, I'm always like, what's
going on with you? What's going on in your world?
If you have someone, nominate them right now, easily, Like
all you have to do is shoot me a DM.
(37:09):
I run the customer service department at this radio station.
So at the tip two f's Potter like the Wizard.
If there is someone in your neighborhood that you want
me to meet, I'm happy to do it. If there's
something cool that happens in your neighborhood that you want
me to go to and experience and share with Cincinnati,
I'm happy to do it. Okay, all right? Coming up
(37:29):
at nine point forty, speaking of neighborhoods, what is going
on in the West Side. We're going to talk about that.
Next you're waking up with fifth in the morning. Kiss
one good morning. It's time for the daily debrief, where
we choose one big thing that we talked about on
the show and revisit it, giving you a chance to
get involved, especially if this is your first time hearing
my voice or waking up. You're just getting your day started.
(37:51):
And obviously the biggest thing for everyone this morning was
the plane crash that happened in DC. Absolutely tragic, and
I'm right alongside you processing the information at the same
time as we learned together, and I didn't want to
brush over it, you know. I wanted to make sure
that you knew I was thinking about it as well,
and that we were as a community. And we'll continue
(38:12):
to update you as we go. You can always check
out our sister station seven hundred WLW because they go
wall to wall with him all right. Outside of that,
there's something going on on the West side. And thank
god you were so helpful this morning, because I didn't
want to feel like an imposter, but I had gotten
a DM of screenshots of what's happening with the gas
(38:36):
stations over there, and the gas stations sign wars to
be more exact, and so your calls were perfect, spot on, funny.
Explain the whole thing. We're gonna check out some of
our talkbacks that we didn't get to in the moment.
Speaker 4 (38:50):
Hey girls, So I live on the West Side, and
if you go to like Sunoka, they have a Facebook
group and it shows their original post. But I think
it's something like the first sign that they had. They
spelled it wrong, got it so ward wife fuels. It's
on their Facebook too. They like said, oh, you spelled
(39:11):
it wrong, and they're going to have a spelling be
between each other. And it's just this whole battle because
where we're spelled wrong. I hilarious.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
Thank you for explaining it. Thank you for the talk
back with Tiff. When you search kiss on the iHeartRadio app,
you two can leave me voice notes and it could
be right now, could be tomorrow, could be whenever you want.
I get them. You know you'll see the microphone in
the top right hand. Cordner. Nothing is sexier and explains
life better than a good sense of humor. I love it,
(39:39):
love it so much. I don't spend a lot of
time on Facebook groups. Maybe I'm missing out on this one.
So you'll have to send me screenshots and send it
over all. Right, everything we do gets podcasted for you
to catch up whenever you have the free time. Today,
I mean, I'm hearing forties and fifties for temperatures. We
might see a little bit of rain with that, but
it will be nice to get outside and get some
fresh air. Pop your headphones in. Just search tip t
(40:00):
I F F in the morning on the iHeartRadio app. Okay,
good morning,
