Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up fifth in the morning time, kiss well,
good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's like the seven hundred and eighty fifth day of
January has finally come to an end.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
It's the last day of the month.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Reflecting back, we watched the ball drop thirty one days ago,
and that feels like a lifetime.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
So much has happened. Obviously in the world.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Some of that will get to, of course, and three
things you need to know coming up at six fifty,
But in our own city, just so many things have happened,
right Like a Cincinnatian became the vice President of the
United States. I'll have that too. There's something on that
about this weekend. You need to be aware of traffic.
I'll have something on that later. I'll just tell you

(00:41):
now because why not. There's a rumor that jad Vance
is going to be coming into town this weekend, so
there will be some road closures in the East Walnut
Hills area.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
So that's what the speculation is.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
I'll talk about it more at length when we dive
into three things and such, But nonetheless, it is the
end of the month. Although I do kind of like
some of me is a part of me is like, well,
we're already at February of twenty twenty five.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Yet the other half of me is like, God.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
It was a war to get here. You know, we
have a lot to get into. In three things you
need to know coming up at six point fifty, I
had mentioned Cincinnati was affected. I was hoping this wasn't
the case, but Cincinnati was affected by that plane crash
yesterday in DC.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
I'll have that coming up.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
I highly recommend getting caught up on the iHeartRadio app
at your leisure today search Kiss one oh seven one,
because I was not quite sure we were gonna get
this type of piercing in Cincinnati. We talked about piercing's
yesterday and I learned something that I had never even knew.
I mean, I knew it existed, but I didn't know
it had a name. If you've never heard of the

(01:47):
crystal piercing, I don't know if I recommend googling it,
but I would.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Get caught up on the podcast.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Actually, if you're a visual person, you can just see
what my reaction is. The TIF to F's Potter like
the Wizard. It's the first thing in my stories right now.
If you dare you know, if you dare all right.
Best way to keep listening is on the iHeartRadio app.
When you search Kiss one oh seven one, you'll be
a part of the three Things you Need to Know,
including new music Friday and more coming up at six

(02:16):
fifty good morning.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
When you need to know She's got you. It's three
Things with tiff On, and.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
We're here to assure the American people that we are
going to leave no stone unturned.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
That's NTSB on the investigation about what happened yesterday. I
can tell you that both black boxes have been recovered
from that crash. At this point, there are still I
believe a handful of bodies that have yet to be recovered.
But we're starting to learn a little bit more about
who's on the plane. And I was hoping that this
wasn't going to be the case, but there are connections

(02:55):
back to Cincinnati. One of the one of the passengers
on the American Airlines flight is a former student of
a Mindeira High School.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
And here's her former principal. She was a rock star,
you know.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
She was just a great student, a nice young lady,
just a pleasure to be around.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Her name is Elizabeth Ann Keys.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
She graduated from here, went to Tufts University and Boston,
got a job at a law firm in d C.
And was supposedly on her way home at that point,
thinking of her family locally here. Also, we have some
connection to one of the soldiers that was on board
of the helicopter. Although he's not a native, he has
some extended family here. And one other potential connection is

(03:42):
someone on board was an employee of GE Aviation. It's
unclear whether or not he lived here or has ties
here outside of GE, but I'm thinking of everyone that's
gone through this. The other thing that you're starting to
learn a little bit more about is that how many
figure skaters, youth figure skaters were on board that plane
coming home from a competition, in which I mean it's
all over the social media, just some of their talents.

(04:03):
Nancy Carigan, who you'll know is a famous Olympic figure skater,
got in her car and just went to the figure
skating rink in Boston, where a few of these were from,
and she hurt.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Videos are going everywhere right now here.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
She is anyone that was on that plane, not just
the skaters. Because it's just such a tragic event and
we've been through tragedies before as Americans as people, and
we are strong, and I guess it's how we respond
to it.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
And when there's more on that one, i'll have it
for you. Just a few tidbits of information that I'm learning.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Excuse me.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Soldiers that night wore night vision goggles and they were experienced.
There are reports that they were understaffed at the air
traffic control towers. And this is the deadliest US air
disaster in a quarter century. I'm going to have more
on this throughout the morning, but we'll leave it there
for now. Last night on Kiss one oh seven to
one and a to sixty, iHeartRadio stations across the globe

(05:03):
Fire Aid, which is the two part benefit concert for
the LA Fire victims. Lots of things happened as far
as performances goes, but Billy Crystal opened the show.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Here he is a.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
Number of people who were tragically affected by these fires,
and I am one of them. These these were the
clothes I wore when I fled my house with my
wife Channis, like so many of us did on January seventh.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Lots of performances, I mean so so many. I'll play
just one clip of I mean, who how about pink?

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Right? This is what about us? Who about? What about?
What's that just sent you at the answer.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
I'll have more on this throughout the rest of the
morning if you didn't get a chance to catch it
live on Kiss last night. All right, lastly, it is
New Music Friday. We finally have our first album of
the year, delayed a week due to fy the the
La fires. The weekend released his album. This is called
cry for Me. One of the singles just.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
Every much.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
I will have that song in full coming up around
seven to oh five.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Can you give me a few minutes here? It's Kiss
one oh.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Seven One's New Music Friday, and that is three things
you need to know?

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
So what do you think there's a very good chance
that that is the first time you've heard that song
at least in full. You're listening to Tiff in the
morning on a Kiss one oh seven one. It's New
Music Friday, and that is the last single that will know.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Supposedly from the weekend.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
He is getting ready to say goodbye to the Moniker
the weekend and who knows where he'll go, maybe back
to Able, which is his government name. Off the new
album called hurry up tomorrow. You're gonna hear a different
song from the album and lots of the weekend throughout
the rest of today's show and actually for the rest
of the day, all the way through John joon A Friends,

(07:13):
as we celebrate new Music Friday. That was called Cry
for Me. You'll have to let me know what your
thoughts are. Talk back with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app.
You'll see the microphone next to the play button when
you search kiss one oh seven one. It takes me
a couple listens to get used to a weekend song,
but this man is full of hits. In fact, like
I said, I'm gonna just get a lot of weekend today. Okay, well,

(07:34):
commercial free for the rest of the hour, So lock in.
We've got some fun to be had here, especially with
the Grammys.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
We're gonna talk about that in two songs. You're waking
up with fifth in the morning.

Speaker 7 (07:45):
Kiss.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
All right, it's a super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Of radio and music this weekend with the Grammys. And
I found a list of artists that have Grammys versus
don't have Grammy. So I brought Sarah and we're gonna
play a little game this morning. It's that's your music
knowledge on who has Grammys and who doesn't.

Speaker 7 (08:04):
First Morning and Happy Friday, by the way, really.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Needed to be the last day of January.

Speaker 8 (08:09):
Okay, this's been going on for an entire year, and.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
My god, you.

Speaker 8 (08:15):
Know the theme song is Cincinnati.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
We love bridges around here. Does Adele have a Grammy?
Yes or no?

Speaker 8 (08:25):
Absolutely?

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Multiple?

Speaker 8 (08:27):
Grammy sixteen?

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Oh should be exact as she should. Okay, here we go.
Let's see who this was? Selena Gomez Grammy yes or no?

Speaker 7 (08:48):
Our crying queen. I do not think she has a Grammy. Correct,
she doesn't, but she has a lot of hits, and
she's bessies with Taylor Swift, who will be at the
Grammys this weekend presenting. I thought there, please perform the aerostour.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
I don't think that the Tortured Post Apartment is going
to win a lot this weekend. I think it's definitely nominated,
but I don't think we see her sweep the categories
like she typically does. I think that there's other way
better music up against her.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (09:16):
I was actually listening to that on my way in
this morning.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Ironically, you're truly the only person still listening to torture
post apartment.

Speaker 8 (09:23):
They not like us, They not like us.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Kendrick Lamar Grammy Yes or no?

Speaker 8 (09:28):
Our super Bowl halftime performer, Yes, with the Grammys.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Seventeen to be exact.

Speaker 8 (09:34):
Looking forward to that performance next Sunday.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
I think I'm more curious than anything.

Speaker 8 (09:39):
I think it'd be good.

Speaker 7 (09:39):
He's bringing sizza with them, some other surprise guests.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
All right, here we go.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
If you were just walking into this, we found a
list of artists that have Grammy's verses that don't Beyonce Grammy,
Yes or no?

Speaker 7 (10:02):
Are Queen hoping that she's coming to Cincinnati? Yes she
has Grammys.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Yeah, she's actually like the most nominated. She's got twenty
nine Grammys. All right, we got time for at least
one more here.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Okay, Yes, okay, Fergy.

Speaker 8 (10:22):
Yes, Fergie has definitely won Grammys.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Yes she has, but.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
I think she won them with the Black Eyed Peas
and not necessarily solo because of you know.

Speaker 8 (10:31):
But they would have never won them without.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Her, and we just you know that, you know, we
know her from this.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
She never eight Grammys for Fergie. All right, one more?
I want to play one more and see if we
can get this one.

Speaker 8 (10:48):
Okay, I came in.

Speaker 7 (10:51):
Yes, and she made it very well known during her
performance that she had gotten a Grammy for Flowers.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
And that was her very first Grammy last year.

Speaker 7 (11:02):
Which is wild because Miley Cyrus is incredible. She should
have all the Grammys.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Jonas Brothers no Grammy, Snoop Dog, no Grammy, Bob Marley
no Grammy.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Surprising. I still listen to that music all the time.
All right, Sarah, thank you very much. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
You're more than welcome to Colin with your predictions on
who's going to win Best New Album five win, three, seven, four, nine,
one oh seven one. That's probably the biggest category that
we're going to talk about today. That Song of the Year,
Record of the Year. All three of those are up
for big ones on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
We'll get to that next.

Speaker 9 (11:33):
Cincinnati's number one.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
That was a good one.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
So we're in the midst of talking about Best New
Artists at the Grammys. The Grammys are kind of like
our super Bowl here in music, right. I misspoke a
couple of minutes ago, and I had said Best New Album,
And I'm glad you guys were able to decipher that.
My brain, I'm neurodiversion, so sometimes my brain and my
mouth do not match up. So I'm glad that you
were picking up what I'm putting down that I really
meant Best Artists.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
That's probably the biggest category for this year, and we're
taking some of your predictions.

Speaker 10 (12:05):
Although she has amazing competition, I think that Sabrina Carpenter
deserves to take everything Best New Artists, Best New Album,
best everything. She came in and took no prisoners. I
mean this, ma'am shouldn't win it all.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Oh, good call on that one. I think she is
gonna win big this year.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
When you search Kiss on the iHeartRadio app, you two
can leave me voice notes and talk about your predictions.
You'll see the microphone and the top right hand corner there.
Just hold that down. So who's nominated first of all?
Sabrina Carpenter, Chapel, Roon Dochi, Benson Boone, Shaboozie Ray, and
Teddy Swims. Now, how does someone become eligible for Best

(12:50):
New Artists? Because I'm pretty sure Sabrina Carpenter was doing
mall performances the Kenwood Mall like six years ago, so
she's not technically new. The requirements are you have to
have at least five singles and no more than five
albums at the time of eligibility. Okay, so the numbers
matchup for Sabrina Carpenter right. The eligibility period for this

(13:12):
year's Grammy goes back to like September of twenty twenty
three to August of twenty twenty four, and if you
remember Espresso and Short and Sweet, her album came out
in August, early August, so she probably timed that out
to make sure that she hit the eligibility for this
year's Grammys.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Of course, we know where we love it, you know.
Oh oh, okay, well who cuts off Sabrina Carpenter. There
you go.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
You guys voted that as the Tiff in the Morning
Song of Summer, so I could see her real being
one of the top one or two contenders for this. Now,
how else, if you've got the albums and you've got
the single, what else plays into eligibility factors outside of
the numerical thing.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
You have to have mainstream.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
You have to have mainstream, you have to have you
have to be made a difference somewhere in the music
community to get nominated for that and That's why I
think her stiff competition is also going to be Chapel Roone,
who is came into the scene real hot this summer.

Speaker 8 (14:22):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
One more artist that's nominated is Ray. You'll remember this
song from probably almost three summers ago.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
This is called escapismos junctis jumped up because I was like, who.

Speaker 11 (14:39):
Was on the same day?

Speaker 1 (14:40):
You remember that song, right, If you go back and
look it up, it's called Escapism. That's nominated. But it
didn't come out.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
That song came out like four years ago, but it
got popular probably in twenty twenty two. We started playing
it in twenty twenty three. It hits its eligibility period.

Speaker 12 (14:56):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Other big categories that sometimes can fuse people are Song
of the Year and Record of the Year. Song of
the Year ends up going towards producers and songwriters. Oftentimes
the artist gets a credit on it obviously because they
contribute to writing it, right, And then Record of the
Year is like the bang or the hit the single?

Speaker 1 (15:16):
Does that make sense?

Speaker 12 (15:17):
You know?

Speaker 1 (15:17):
I'll have it all for you.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
A lot of nominations for Taylor, Kendrick, Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter,
Post Malone. I'll get to all those for you on
Monday morning here on TIF in the morning. Okay, we're
just a few minutes out by the way from the
three Things you need to Know to get your day
started and Sincy.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
Don't go far. We're talking Joe Burrow when you need
to know, pleas got you? It's three things with TIF on.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Well, good morning, we're just before eight o'clock. At eight thirty,
I have your chance to win tickets to the number
one Marty Gras party in Sincy, happening a little early
this year on February eighteenth.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
So don't go far. Okay.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
So we're we're getting more and more updates, tragic updates
about yesterday's plane crash.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Here's the NCSB, and we're here to assure the American
people that we are going to leave no stone unturned and.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
This, of course, when it comes to the investigation, I
do know that both black boxes have been found from
the helicopter and the American Airlines flight. Now, when we
were sitting here yesterday, just kind of in the midst
of this, we had learned exactly twenty four hours ago
right now, that there were zero survivors from this crash.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
In that moment, I was like, damn it.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
I really hope that no one from Cincinnati is connected
to this crash, and unfortunately that is not the case.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
There's actually a few connections.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
She was a rock star, you know, she was just
a great student, a nice young lady, just a pleasure
to be around.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
That was former principal of Elizabeth Ann Keyes, who was
a graduate of Madeira. She passed away on the American
Airlines flight yesterday. She had gotten a graduate degree from
Tufts in Boston and became a lawyer in DC. Also,
one of the soldiers on the helicopter has some extended
family here, and we are hearing some reports that there

(17:11):
might have been someone on the flight that works for.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
GE Aviation headquartered here as well.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Speaking of Boston, Nancy Carrigan, you'll know her as a
famous Olympian, was speaking yesterday at a Boston ice skating
rink where she trained, and a few of those figure
skaters were from that Boston ice skating rink coming home
from Wichita, or trying to at.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
Least anyone that was on that plane, not just the skaters,
because it's just such a tragic event, and we've been
through tragedies before, as Americans as people, and we are strong,
and I guess it's how we respond to it. And
so my response was to be with people like care

(17:51):
ABOUTE and I love and I needed support. So that's
why I'm here, And I don't know a little bit
at a time.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
I think it's a shock, a little bit at of
a time.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
I think you can use that phrase really anywhere in life,
just a little bit at a time, one step at
a time, one second at a time.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
When there's more.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
On that one, I'll have it for you a few,
just like tidbits that I've picked up. This is the
deadliest US air disaster in a quarter century. There are
reports that the tower could have been understaffed. The soldiers
were night vision goggles and they were experienced soldiers.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
So I'll keep you posting second and three things you
need to know.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
This morning, we were just talking about the Grammy, so
let's go back to that for a hot second. Airing
Sunday Night hosted by Trevor Noah for like the third
year in a row, Beyonce is the one that has
the most nominations out of everyone, with eleven and then

(18:53):
Charlie XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Posty Ty for
second place with seven nods. Sabrina Carpenter chap Taylor Swift
tied for third with six. I don't think Taylor is
gonna sweep as much at Shida as she has in
the past, but we'll see. I also don't know if
Kendrick Lamar will be in attendance with his Super Bowl
halftime show coming up in.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
A week exactly a week later. We'll see on that one.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
Big performers of the night include It's a long Billie Eilish,
who just did fire Aid last night, Charlie XCX, Chapel Rone,
Cynthia Arrivo, Doci, Stevie Wonder, Coldplays, Chris Martin, Leanie Wilson,
Brittany Howard, Teddy Swims, John Legend, Cheryl Crowe, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira,

(19:37):
and a few others. I don't know when we're gonna
have time to actually present these awards with all those performers.
Oh my god, the bigger categories. I'll say one more
thing on the Grammys here, the big ones are always
the Big four, the core four right Record of the Year,
which means like the hot song of the Year, The Beatles,
Texas Hold'em, Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso three sixty by Charlie XCX,

(19:57):
Birds of a Feather, Not Like Us, Good Luck by
Chapel Roon, and Fortnite Album of the Year, Cowboy Carter's
on That Shortened, Sweets On That Brat by Charlie XCX's
on There, Hit Me Hard and Soft by Billie Eilish,
and Chapel Roone's album, plus a few others, but those
are the most notable.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
That we play.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
It kind of leaked that Billie Eilish already won Album
of the Year. I don't know if that'll come to fruition.
I wouldn't be mad about it, because I do love that.
Song of the Year is also a big one as well.
I won't rattle that off for you, but just note
that on Monday morning at this time, I'll have the winners.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
All right.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Lastly, in three Things You Need to Know this morning,
Joe Burrow trolling around the cameras with the Pro Bowl
coming up this weekend. I don't know if he'll play,
but he was talking about Jamar Chase.

Speaker 9 (20:42):
Unbelievable plays make people miss. Yeah, everybody sees it every
single week we get and week out he continues to
make unbelievable plays, make people miss score fifty plus yards touchdowns.
I mean, I don't know what more he could do
to show and prove himself.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
We'll see if he plays on Sunday quickly.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
Are you familiar with internet sports personality k Adams? I
love her. She was sent the Skyline Graters collab. She
also loves the Bengals. Here's her reaction.

Speaker 13 (21:12):
Okay, sure it is creamy and wonderful. It's the perfect
amount of spice. It almost guts like cinnemony.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
It's on my list to try. Maybe I'll do that
this weekend. Are there three things you need to know
for the thirty first of January? God the last day
coming up at eight thirty year chance to go to
Marty Gross who do not go far?

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Yes, in the morning they did. What it's time to
move out? I'm curious what O seven one?

Speaker 2 (21:37):
It is my favorite favorite thing to discuss with you.
One of I should say your crazy neighbor and or
roommate stories. It kind of just depends on what phase
of life you live in at the moment. But everyone's
got one, so talk back. What's hip on the iHeartRadio app.
You'll see the microphone next to the play button. If
you want to contribute, you just hold that down and
you can leave me voice notes. You'll need the keyword

(21:59):
neighbor to win the Marty Grod tickets in about ten
or so minutes.

Speaker 12 (22:04):
A long time ago, we had vines growing on our
fence that my mom liked, and the neighbors behind us
could see them, but apparently didn't like them. So she
caught the old man cutting the vines. So she went
over to his house in the middle of the night
and poured bleach on his lawn. So she just watched

(22:24):
him water that one dead spot of grass for weeks.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
I have only had decent experiences with my neighbors. In fact,
my neighbor and I have become really, really, really close.
But that's not the case for everyone. There's sometimes some
hostility out here in these streets of Cincinnati.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
All right, what else do we have?

Speaker 3 (22:45):
This is just a weird neighbor. Years ago, we lived
in a two story apartment and we had a cat,
and I would let him outside. You always come back in.
I noticed over a few weeks he wasn't coming home
like as quickly as he used to.

Speaker 7 (22:57):
It was just strange.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
He'd be out longer and he wouldn't come when I
called his name.

Speaker 8 (23:00):
One night, I'm looking.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
For him, and I hear the slider door underneath us open,
and I look and my neighbor to the left of
us is shoeing him out of her door. Don't shoot
out out, So she was hiding him.

Speaker 11 (23:13):
It's weird.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
She stole your cat.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
So I've won three seven nine one seven one. Does
your neighbor story compete with any of these? Good morning,
Rihanna on TIF in the Morning doing the halftime show
three years ago and we're now gearing up for Kendrick Lamart.
You're waking up with TIF in the Morning on Kiss
one O seven one. We're in the midst of talking
about your neighbors and roommates, and you're not far off

(23:38):
from winning the Marti Gras tickets with that keyword here
in a few minutes.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Okay, all right, checking your talkbacks.

Speaker 10 (23:45):
Hey just wanted to say I'm also neurodivergent, which obviously
is happening to me too, and can't talk sometimes, so
don't feel bad, You're not alone.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Well, thank you very much.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
I just mentioned a few minutes ago when I'm fumbled
my way through my first break breaking to eight o'clock hour,
I was like, damn, I neurodivergent brain. Sometimes it betrays
me very badly. All right, you're on the air. Thanks
you stopping by.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Good morning, Good morning, How you doing Happy Friday? I'm
doing well. Thanks for calling to in the morning. Was
your neighbor and r roommate story?

Speaker 11 (24:15):
I guess okay, Well, we'll go back about six years.
We had an apartment and me and my lover at
the time with below the crazy cat lady. I had
cameras installed just because I worked night shift and want
to make sure the house so everything is fine. Well,

(24:37):
the crazy cat lady she was drawn for attention, and
she decided to steal my girlfriend at the times car
keys so we couldn't find them. Everybody is looking all
over the place. She comes out holding them in her
hands that she found them, and we could figure out

(24:57):
how she found them because we looked everywhere she looked,
And here we get on the camera. She had her
car keys hidden underneath her car and I feel like
she did us a favor. So that was the beginning
of something that went very strange quick Oh.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
There's always something random that happens. What's your name, by
the way, what neighborhood are you calling me from?

Speaker 1 (25:18):
I'm top though, Well, thank you for the call. I
knew that story was just going to take us six
hours to get through. You know.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
Sometimes speaking of neurodivergent land the plane, it's like holding
a sixty second plank for me sometimes, you know what
I'm saying. All right, commercial free, give me three minutes.
I have your chance to win tickets to the best
Marti Gras party in Cincinnati on Tuesday, February eighteenth. Your
ticket includes all of your food, beverage, entertainment, and all

(25:47):
the proceeds that get raised that night go back to
homeless shelters here in Cincinnati.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
That's coming next. If you have the keyword neighbor you're
waking up with Skiff in the morning on seven one.
All right, caller ten.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
If you have the key were that I mentioned earlier
in the show, go ahead and start dialing for the
Marti Gras tickets five one, three, seven, four nine one
seven one. Your ticket includes all your food and beverage

Bethany House, all homeless shelters here in Cincy.

Speaker 1 (26:21):

join us for this party.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
While I await your calls, we're in the midst of
talking about your crazy neighbor and or roommate stories. It
is one of my favorite things that we connect on
because everyone has someone in their life that they live
near or next to that.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
You're like, what's going on? This person is just unhinged.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
And it's even funnier because when people are in their homes,
they're their most true self, you know, so checking in
on you.

Speaker 14 (26:48):
I have a neighbor currently and when we first moved
into our house, he complained to the owners of the
lot that my garbage can smelled like dirty diapers. I
have a child in diapers. I don't know where else
you expect me to put them? I'm so sorry.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
Where would those go? You know, not quite sure where
those would go? But thank you for the talkback with Tiff.
When you search kiss one oh seval one on the
iHeartRadio app, you too can leave me voice notes about
your dirty diapers. You'll see the microphone. It's right next
to the play button. I love hearing from you. Okay,
all right, I have one open phone line five one
three seven four nine one oh seven one. If you
want to go to the Marty Graul party and you

(27:27):
have the keyword that I mentioned earlier, hopefully you can
pick up what it was from the conversation we just
had week week.

Speaker 7 (27:35):
You're waking up with Tish in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Well, good morning, good morning. I'm hoping you have a
keyword for Meabor.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Congratulations, you're collar ten and you got the keyword. You're
going to our Marty Grau party on Tuesday, February eighteenth.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
Thank you so much, You're welcome. What's your name, gal,
Happy Friday? What neighborhood are you in? My name is
Chelpy and I'm calling from Ghoshin. Well, Chelse, thanks for
waking up with Tiff in the morning every day.

Speaker 11 (28:00):
Absolutely I listen you every day.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
Ah, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
The neighbors stories, craziness, anything happening in your world that
you want to share, maybe a roommate.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
We didn't get one of those yet, Oh my god,
a couple crazy ones, but no I ended up letting
one of my friends stay with me.

Speaker 11 (28:16):
But it was bad when she was mad kid, I
wouldn't let people stay at my house.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
So yeah, opening up your doors for a friend is
always really great, but it's boundaries are still a thing,
you know, absolutely. All right, Well, thanks for the call.
If you took an l on these tickets, John John
is going to have your chance to win all next week, so.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Set a reminder with Siri. Okay, all right, very excited.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
We're going to have ourselves a good time for the
next ten or so minutes on Kiss one oh seven one.
You were going to hear nothing but the weekend commercial Free,
all of his bangers, all of our favorites, and honor
and celebration of his new album coming out Hurry Up Tomorrow,
which we're playing every hour here on Kiss.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
So enjoy this little viby mix that we'll put together
for Radiomen.

Speaker 5 (29:07):
Lynn.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
You need to know she's got you. It's three things
with Tip. There's a good chance you knew everywhere to
that song.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
We're just before nine o'clock, around nine oh five ish,
a little later maybe around nine oh eight. I have
your first chance of the day to win one thousand dollars.
Some sure it'll come in handy because rent is due tomorrow.
Let's start off with Cincinnati's traffic. Has nothing to do
with the bridges. But be aware that it's not confirmed,
but there's speculation that Vice President jd. Vance could be

(29:39):
coming back to his home this weekend in East Walnut Hills. Now,
if that's the case, we're locking things down in my
maybe close to.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
My neighborhood, his neighborhood, you.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Know, things of that nature. So if you live in
that area, the rumor is he's coming back again. Not confirmed,
but if there are street and road closures, you'll know why.
Second in three things you need to know, The Grammys
are this coming Sunday. It's kind of like our super
Bowl here at Kiss one oh seven.

Speaker 11 (30:05):
One.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
The big category this year, I think is going to
be Best New Artist. You've got a lot of really
qualified artists that are up against each other to win
this one. Chapel Roon and Sabrina Carpenter are the two
biggest talked about ones. Shaboozi and Benson Boone also on
the list as well. You have to have at least
five singles and at least one album to qualify Numerically,

(30:29):
you can't have more than five albums, and you need
to fall within.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
The eligibility period.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Eligibility for this year's Grammys was September of twenty three
to August of twenty four. Sabrina's album came out in
August of twenty four, so she just made that cutoff.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
I was I gonna say. There's one other thing. Oh,
and you also have to have influence in the music industry.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Beyonce most nominated this year, coming in in second place.
You've got Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and a few others,
Charlie XCX on the list, Taylor Sabrina all tied for six.
We'll see what happens. You know, I will keep you
posted Monday morning. First thing, all right, lastly, in three
things you need to know, the Pro Bowls this weekend,
we will have an appearance from Joe Burrow, maybe in

(31:12):
the game, maybe not, I don't know, but he's been
trolling around the cameras and playing the fun games in
the last twenty four hours or so.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
Here he is talking about Jamar Chase.

Speaker 9 (31:20):
Five full plays make people miss. Yeah, everybody sees it
every single week.

Speaker 11 (31:24):
Weekend and week out.

Speaker 9 (31:25):
He continues to make unbelievable plays.

Speaker 8 (31:28):
Make people Miss Oh.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
I was talking about the contract negotiation for Jamar. Also
Kay Adams, famous internet sports personality.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
I love her. She tried the Skyline Greaters combo here
she is. Oh.

Speaker 13 (31:42):
Sure, it is creamy and wonderful. It's the perfect amount
of spice. Almost guess like cinemony.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
It's on my list to try for maybe this weekend.
That is three things you need to know for the.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
Final day of January.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
Oh my god, your chance of the grand next oh
in new music from the weekend, Give me five minutes
you're waking.

Speaker 10 (31:59):
Up six in the morning, kiss on us seven one.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
How much TV did you watch in the month of January? Hey,
I'm right alongside you. I gotta pay tribute to the
fact that it is the final day of the month.
It has been a war to.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
Get through it. Although I don't know.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
I'm split. I think a week ago I was like, oh,
how is it still January? But sitting here right now,
I'm like, Wow, the first month of twenty twenty five
is gone.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
That animal is supposed to check whether or not its
shadow comes out this weekend.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
You'll see that on social media. I'm gonna scroll right
past it. I don't buy it and I don't believe it. Anyways,
we're talking TV. I usually do this on Fridays and
Mondays to prepare you with what to watch, and then
we come back on Mondays and talk about what did
you watch? Because I really think there's no greater gift,
and especially the cold months, although it's going to be
fifty something to grease today, then sharing what it is

(32:50):
that you watched on TV. It saves us a lot
of time when it comes to scrolling trailers and figuring
it out. I'd rather go off a recommendation than figure
out something on my own when it comes to consumption
of TV. So I found a new show on Hulu.
It's called Paradise. Paradise on Hulu. Three episodes are out
right now.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
It's good.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
It's kind of in the same vein as Silo. You know,
I'm a big fan of Apple TV, big fan. Silo
has two seasons out. I've always recommended that one, but
maybe this is the first time you're hearing about it.
Paradise is on Hulu. It's got Sterling K. Brown in it.
You'll know him from This is Us. And then, oh
my god, I'm blinking on the lead actor and maybe

(33:33):
I can google and talk at the same time. It
is really good, really good. The uh Like I said,
it's kind of like a little bit of apocalyptic. But
it's definitely one of those shows. James Marson, James Marson
is the name I'm looking for.

Speaker 11 (33:52):
What is he? Now?

Speaker 2 (33:53):
I'm going down to an ADHD rabbit hole. Ah, the
main actor from Sonic. Okay, you're with me now?

Speaker 8 (33:58):
Good?

Speaker 1 (33:59):
Got it? He also plays Lawn in The Notebook.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
Yet you know, right, the guy that Rachel McAdams was
supposed to get married to.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Okay, all right, now we're on the same page. I
can put that to bet.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
Anyways, show is like I've already mentioned the word apocalyptic
three times, but I'll just say it again. And it's
one of those where you're like, what is happening next?
What is happening next? Easy to digest, good cast, good watch.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
Three episodes are out now, so you can get a
jump on that.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
I'm obviously gonna mention Severance again because that is still one.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Of the most talked about shows on television.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
The Night Agent also has a second season out on Netflix.
I haven't had a chance to watch that one yet,
so I would say those are probably the three big ones.
My roommate Tom just found Yellowstone for the first time,
so he's been talking about that one. If you need
recommendations there you go. Don't gate keep okay. If there's
something that you love watching, go ahead and talk back

(34:56):
with Tiff. You'll see the microphone right next to the
play button when you search kiss on the Eye. I
heard app. Speaking of the I heard app. That's a
great place to lock in because we're coming up around
nine thirty ish, we'll do the daily debrief. The one
big thing I talked about on my show today, and that.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
Is your wild neighbors.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Oh my god, I don't think I've heard a story
like this one in a while.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
Oooh. If you're waking up the fifth in the morning time,
it was high octane. Good way to start off your Friday.
It's going to be fifty some of the degrees. It's
the final day of January. We made it. It's time
for the daily debrief.

Speaker 2 (35:31):
I choose one big thing that we talked about out
of the four hours of conversation, giving you a chance
to get involved, giving you a chance to get caught up,
and maybe this is the first time you're starting your day.
We also revisit some talkbacks or calls that we didn't
get to in the moment. You know, give I never
want a chance to feel love and whatnot. We had
mentioned your crazy neighbors or roommates. We actually didn't get

(35:54):
any roommate stories today. I visit this topic from time
to time. It's one of my favorites because you're the
true twist Ross version, realist version of yourself in your
own home, but the people around you get to experience
that and it's not always a good thing. So we
were checking some of your talkbacks this morning and I
saved probably one of my favorites for last.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
Nothing like the neighbor from Hell who everyone on the
street hates, yelling across the street to me, Hey, Stace,
have you gained weight? It looks like you've put on
some like who says that? Thank you for the talk
back with tip When you search kiss on the iHeart
radio app, you too can leave me voice notes the
microphones in the top right hand corner. You just hold

(36:36):
that down and you have thirty seconds.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
We might end up revisiting this topic on Monday, so
you have plenty of time to get yours in because
speaking to neighbors, the rumor on the street is that
jd Vance, vice President of Our Country, is coming back
to Cincy, coming back to his Cincinnati home this weekend.
What do you think it's like to be neighbors with
jd Vance? You're gonna have all this secret service and

(37:00):
around the house, trolling around your backyard looking through your windows.
You'll have to let me know if you live in
the East Walnut Hailes area, I mean I go.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
I frequent that area quite a bit. I think there's
gonna be some.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
If it comes to fruition, they'll most likely be road
closures in traffic in.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
That area, So be aware of that one. Okay, everything
we do gets podcasted for you to catch up whenever
you have some free time today. Search Tip in the Morning,
t Iff on the iHeartRadio app, hop your headphones in,
enjoy some of the weather, love it, good morning, and
happy Friday. Tips in the morning, Gone kiss oh man.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
I saw something on the internet that said, the one
thing you need to know about January twenty twenty five
is it's gonna make sure you feel every single day
of that thirty one days. And that is a truth.
WO want to recognize it's been a tough It's been
a tough month. When we got through it, right, I
knew as I knew we would. There's always light at

(37:57):
the end of the tunnel.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
But it was tough. Whatever you got going on in
your personal life, you know, there's probably good and bad.
There's a I mean, that's life, right, there's a mix
of both. But in the news.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
World, it was it was the weather, all of it.
We made it to the final day of January. I
said this, and I will remind you everyone is doing
the best they can with what they have in the moment.
I started practicing this last year towards the holidays, and
it's helped me just kind.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
Of let it go, let it ride, let it happen.
That's the let them theory that mel Robbins talks about
quite a bit. Right.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
She's going viral right now because her new book is out.
All right, if we're not connected on social I'm at
the tiff to F's Potter like the wizard, Let's go there.
Because you remember that gas station conversation we had yesterday.
I'm going to make a trip out to the West Side,
either today or tomorrow. And get to the bottom of
the gas station sign wars so it'd be actually speaking
of my social handle. That's a great place to go

(38:54):
and DM me if you're like, oh, I'm a West
Sider for life, come on over from the East Side
TIF and come at this place.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
While I'm over there, I might as.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
Well check out something, right, So shoot me a message
next week. I'm very excited, very very excited. We're gonna
celebrate singles all week long by hooking you up with
individual tickets to random things in the Tri State. You know,
I love doing stuff by myself, so I'm gonna spread
the love and we're gonna hook you up.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
With all these really cool solo experiences.

Speaker 2 (39:22):
So set a reminder to get up with Tiff in
the morning six am Monday.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
Have a great day, Happy Friday.
