Well, dare I say Happy Monday? I mean, we made
it through January or into February. But the weekend, regardless
of what month it is, it will forever remain true
that the weekends come so and go so quickly. Monday
has arrived, very excited about this week's shows. So you

know that I'm single. I have been for a while,
but I've lived solo in the city of Cincinnati for
six years. Even when I was in a relationship, it
was for long distance during that time. During the years
that I've lived here, I've had to build and start
from the ground up as far as creating friends and community,

figuring out how to go around places without my GPS,
even what should I do? How do I make friends?
Like all of these things right, And I hope that
you feel a sense of community here if you're in
the same position, because I've been there before. So to
celebrate upcoming Valentine's then kiss one oh seven to one
and myself here we're gonna do. We're celebrating singles, not

necessarily in the sense that you you don't you don't
have to be like single and not in a relationship,
just doing stuff solo, getting out of the house. So
we're doing single concert tickets to Bryce Vine and Wallows.
If you're brave enough to go to a concert on
your own, you're gonna want to be here at seven
to twenty plus single movie tickets and and you have

a chance to be a grand prize winner with Date
Cincy and win a singles event package. So that's coming
up at seven thirty. Okay, don't go far. I'm very
excited for it. And obviously the Grammys were very big,
including Billie Eilish not winning. We'll get to that at six.

Good morning. It is just before seven o'clock on this
post Grammys Monday, so a majority of our three things
is going to be focused on them, but I will
sprinkle in some other tidbits of information here and there.
Let's start off with the red carpet. There are three
moments that you need to note. On number one, Jaden
Smith and Willow showed up and Jaden was wearing what

I can only describe as a cardboard cutout mansion one
that you would play with your barbieson on top of
his head. And I don't have an answer as to why,
and I don't think the internet does either. But he
stayed extremely committed to that outfit, not just for the
red carpet before the entire show. Second major carpet moment,
and probably the biggest one, was the fact that Kanye

West showed up with Bianca and she was completely nude.
And when I had said that to my friend Abby,
who I stole the cable from while I was watching
the Grammys with her last night, I said, she's naked,
and she's like, what do you mean? I said, It's
all over social media. So Kanye was there. Let's let's
squash some of the like the rumors that are false,
the false allegations. They were not asked to leave, and

they were not escorted out. Kanye was invited because he
was nominated for Best I Believe a rap song for
Carnivoe didn't end up winning. They and they only walked
the red carpet and then they left after them. She
walked in wearing a mink coat and while Kanye was
facing the camera and typical Kanye fashion in all black,
she was facing the wall behind him. She drops the

mink coat and she's wearing nothing but like a very thin,
thin nude mesh. When she turns around, she's full frontal.
I mean, there is just a small piece of what
looks like boop tape. Honestly, it could have been Skim's tape.
I'm not kidding that she could have been wearing skims.

That's it looked so much like something that Kim would
wear underneath a full outphit. And that was just her
full alphit, full on nudity. And I think the Internet's like, hey,
are you okay? I even myself, I was like, Link
wants Bianca if you need someone to come get you.
But that is what they're known for, and that is
what Kanye is known for. I would like to think

that she isn't doing this without her own consent, but
I have no idea. I'm not involved in their group
text messages. That was a big moment, last red carpet
moment before we move on to the winners. Is the
fact that this Babyface interview is blowing up now. Was
it inappropriate? Absolutely? Am I trying to understand where the
host is coming from? You know me? Of course, Sam?
They work for the Associated Press mid interview with Babyface,

they essentially blow him off to talk to Chapelone and
it is so uncomfortable that the internet's going crazy.

Yes, I think it's interesting.

Chapel Chapel you guys want to do that? Oh go
do that looked a little bit like fangirlss. I don't
think Kristin Ferrera what's her name? That's her name. I
doubt that she'll have a job moving forward. She had
to issue in a poly statement. That's how mad people were.

I get it. Babyface maybe not as relevant this year
as Chapel Rone, but as a professional, you don't do that.
I mean, it was busy. There are people in your
ear talking. I get it as a host, but that
was a big one. All right, let's move inside some
of the three or four big moments that you need
to know about this Core four winners. Song and Record

(05:23):
of the Year went to Kendrick Lamar for Not Like Us.
Best New Artist of the Year went to Chapel Roone.
An Album of the Year went to Beyonce. Now this
is the first time that Beyonce has ever won that award,
making her total Grammy at thirty five. I believe the
most winning in history. A couple big moments about Beyonce.

First of all, she walked in in true Beyonce fashion
thirty seconds before she was awarded Best Country Album, and
she was shocked. In fact, the Internet loves the fact
that Blue Ivy is always the one that's like, Mom, like,
get your act together. Here's Shaboozy talking about it.

She's so focused, she's commanding, she's given instructions. She's there
just as much as everybody else's. It's not like I
get it out of things. She's there, wa Washington, lay back.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Blue's given notes, said, Blue Ivy out there, given notes
to mom. You'll see the internet. But she's like, Mom,
get up, get up like you won then. And here's
Beyonce's acceptance speech for that one.

By the way, I'd like to thank and acknowledge and
praise all of the firefighters for keeping us safe.

I just feel very full and very honored. It's been many,
many years.

She accepted Best New Artists.

I told myself, if I ever won a Grammy and
I got to stand up here in front of the
most powerful people in music, I would demand that in
the industry profiting millions of dollars off of artists would
offer a livable wage in healthcare, especially to developing artists.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
That was a big moment. So those are the core
four song and record When to Kendrick album went to Beyonce,
Best New Artists went to Chapel Roone. Sabrina Carpenter picked
up two for Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal.
Taylor won nothing, and I believe that's the first Crammies
really ever that Taylor has walked away with nothing. However,

there was a really sweet moment circulating the internet where
Taylor was the one that presented Beyonce with the award
for Best Country Album, and years prior, Beyonce is the
one that presented Taylor with a similar award at the VMA.
So the Internet loved that. Who I think we've made
it through some of the bigger ones. I'm gonna sprinkle

obviously going to start with the Grammys. Biggest thing that
you were surprised about, go.

Uh Bianca being naked again? Are you surprised about that?

At this point?

It's like, I don't think the girl owns clothing. I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Is it a blink like, blink, blink once, blink twice
if you're okay?

So please, why is this woman? I don't whatever, It's crazy. Also,
Taylor Swift didn't win anything.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
I was not surprised about that. I was very clear
that I didn't think this was going to be a
Grammys that was focused on Taylor. I thought maybe she
would win the collab with Fortnite, but did not.

Speaker 8 (09:28):
It was kind of all about Beyonce, Sabrina Carpenter, who else.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Kendrick Lamar tell me that you thought that the Grammys
was very well balanced this year.

Speaker 8 (09:39):
It was great. I loved it.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
As far as winners. You know those years where Taylor
was just sweep swapping everything. Billy Eilish was sweeping up everything.

Speaker 8 (09:47):
Billy doing anything.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
I know, and I really thought that Billy was going
to take home Album of the Year.

Speaker 8 (09:55):
I think she thought that too. Looked a little emotional.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
I couldn't. I really do think that she was supporting
Beyonce as far as her emotions go.

I think for the camera she was supporting Beyonce, you think.
I also think it was very shocking that Beyonce got
Country Album of the Year. Everybody in that category was
kind of like, are you serious about this?

I love Beyonce, but I don't know that album.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
It's so interesting how these awards are chosen amongst the
you know, thousands of people that vote on them. Beyonce
has been now nominated for Album of the Year a
few times, and those albums I thought were more worthy
of Album of the Year than Cowboy Carter was.

Speaker 8 (10:34):
All you gotta do is go into a country category.
I guess that's what it does.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
And I wonder if it's because she really kind of
blew that genre out of the water for this year
and really just put a lot of the stigma and
like put a lot of that to the side. And
maybe the Academy saw that as like, hey, she's carving
the way for others to do the same, and maybe
that's why they give it to her her cultural significance.
But I thought it was going to Billy.

Speaker 8 (10:59):
Yeah it was. I don't know. I do love her
shocking face moment making memes. Oh, I love her social media.
I'm like, well, at least she gave us a really
good meme that we can use this week.

That was my big shock of the night too, is
that Beyonce yours was Bianca Mine was Beyonce winning Album
of the Year. Country Album of the Year. Wasn't surprised,
but let's talk performances.

Speaker 8 (11:22):
Sabrina Carpenter. She's just everyone's little pollypocket. She can do
no wrong. She looked stunning, she's charming, she's cute, she's funny,
she's talented, she can sing, dance. I love that Taylor
Swift stood up for her. I mean, Taylor Swift is
like everyone's hype woman. But just a lot of really
special girly moments last night that I really appreciated.

Sabrina Carpenter picked up two YEP the Core four Album
of the Year to Beyonce. Song and Record of the
Year went to Kendrick Lamar and Best New Artist. That
was the category. I think that was going to be
the most talked about. Yeah, that went to Chapelone, and
I was not surprised, but I really thought it was
going to go towards Sabrina.

Okay, yeah, I could see that loved Chapelone getting up
there and I put you in her thing. I'm sure
you played that already, but yeah, she's amazing.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
All right, let's move. I think that was it. Oh,
the one surprised moment outside of Taylor wearing the tea
chain on her leg.

Speaker 8 (12:17):
That's gonna be a thing now, isn't it. Thigh chains?
You know, I'm down for a thigh chain, a thigh
chain immediately, immediately. Yeah, gonna get like a little s
on my leg. Dude, It's sexy, it is. She can
make anything trend. And she was wearing the Chiefs red,
the little short number. We rarely see her go short too.
She's always all about the long evening gowns.

I was shocked. The red stiletto, the red short dress,
red earrings, red lip, red nails, red jewelry.

The one overall arching theme about the Grammys is I
felt it was very well balanced. Everyone except Billie Eilish
won a little bit of everything. Yeah, Sabrina Carpenter with
two chaperone Best New Artist, Kendrick won this Beyonce one.
That Taylor did not win anything, but I was not
surprised about that. She was doing her things. She's always

up dancing around, cheering everyone on. She knows exactly what
she's doing. We didn't get any like album announcements from
her because you remember one year ago when she one
for Midnights. That's when she announced the Tortured Poets Department. Okay,
I think that's pretty much everything on that from second

little bit more about Beyonce. We got the announcement for
the tour. I don't like these dates, I don't like
these cities. I'm hoping that there is more added to it.
She did announce over the weekend with a photo of her. Hey,
Cowboy Carter tour is on the way, et cetera. Los Angeles, Chicago,

New York, London, Houston, Washington, d C. Las Vegas, and Atlanta.
Maybe they'll be more added to that. Maybe she'll do
kind of like Harry How Harry Styles did that tour
a couple of years ago where he did like eight
or nine nights in a single city and people came
to him. Maybe it'll be like that. I'm just praying
for more dates.

Oh, there was one other tidbit of Grammys. Will you
allow me to go back for a hot second, because
I think you'd really like this. They're celebrating the fortieth
anniversary of the Jordan Sneaker, so the commercials for the
first time were a really big deal at the Grammys.
Not only did they pay tribute to fire aid victims

in Los Angeles, the Grammys and CBS donated commercial time
to local businesses, etc. We did see that for the
first time. There were lots of tributes throughout the night
for fire aid victims. You'll see that circulating social But
this one commercial about the Air Jordan's stuck out to me.
Here's a quick clip for you.

Nineteen eighty four, Nike created the revolutionary Air Jordan one.
One month later they were banned from the game. Nike
could have paid a fine, but they didn't.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
It was five thousand dollars every game.

Speaker 13 (23:52):
And it changed everything. The Air Jordan was a massive failure.
There were no more signature shoes, no catchphrases.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
It goes on and on, and if you don't notice,
if you didn't see that Nike movie this past summer,
I loved it. Highly recommend it. If you didn't know
this story. The Jordan shoe became what it is because
of Michael Jordan. Back during the sneaker days, right, the
athlete wore the shoe, not the other way around. Where
the shoe became the athlete and basketball shoes had to

be a high percentage of the color white. But Nike
at the time was like, listen, Michael Jordan, we believe
in you so much. We believe in this shoe. We
believe in the sport so much that we are willing
to make it Chicago Bulls colors majority black and red.
And we will pay a fine every single time you
wear that shoe and you put your foot on the court,

will pay the five thousand dollars fine. And that's why
Michael Jordan ended up going with Nike, and then the
Jordan became what it is we know today. All right,
little history for it. Let's move on finally in three
things you need to know this morning. Lastly, here in Sincy,
we have an update on four seventy one and things
seem to be running very smooth.

Speaker 14 (25:07):
On Saturday, O Doc Cruise reported the completion of the
second concrete port and the placing of the new sidewall.
Now the curing process is set for the next five
to eight days. Each concrete port took nearly six hours
and the crews need temperatures to exceed fifty degrees to
cure properly.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
And it's all going well. I think temperatures are in
the sixties. Fingers crossed. I can now officially say that
the bridge will open supposedly next month. All right, that
is three things you need to know for the third

Nothing happened. When we left. The owner said there was

fix seven thousand, five hundred dollars to fix this small stain,
including literally replacing the floorboards. We know nothing about this,
We saw nothing.

provide a picture of the floor at the exact minute

first thought when I go into an airbnb is to
not take photos of it, and you can't. You certainly
can't cover every square inch of the air bab to

looked for an Airbnb for my birthday this year because

places in the tri State that had hot tubs, and

going to be. There are two Royal Rumble matches, one
for the men, one for the women. Thirty competitors in

each one, and it's an over the top rope challenge.
So you get tossed out, you're both feet hit the floor,
you're eliminated. So it's a huge deal to win. To
win the Royal Rumble, this is a major event. It's
their second biggest one that they do outside of next
biggest one being WrestleMania. Obviously, this was a big get
for the city of Indianapolis and they're going to see
a ton of do from it.

one here celebrating the Air Jordan's forty first birthday. If
