Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Time Kiss one one.
Speaker 3 (00:04):
Well, dare I say Happy Monday? I mean, we made
it through January or into February. But the weekend, regardless
of what month it is, it will forever remain true
that the weekends come so and go so quickly. Monday
has arrived, very excited about this week's shows. So you
(00:26):
know that I'm single. I have been for a while,
but I've lived solo in the city of Cincinnati for
six years. Even when I was in a relationship, it
was for long distance during that time. During the years
that I've lived here, I've had to build and start
from the ground up as far as creating friends and community,
(00:46):
figuring out how to go around places without my GPS,
even what should I do? How do I make friends?
Like all of these things right, And I hope that
you feel a sense of community here if you're in
the same position, because I've been there before. So to
celebrate upcoming Valentine's then kiss one oh seven to one
and myself here we're gonna do. We're celebrating singles, not
(01:09):
necessarily in the sense that you you don't you don't
have to be like single and not in a relationship,
just doing stuff solo, getting out of the house. So
we're doing single concert tickets to Bryce Vine and Wallows.
If you're brave enough to go to a concert on
your own, you're gonna want to be here at seven
to twenty plus single movie tickets and and you have
(01:33):
a chance to be a grand prize winner with Date
Cincy and win a singles event package. So that's coming
up at seven thirty. Okay, don't go far. I'm very
excited for it. And obviously the Grammys were very big,
including Billie Eilish not winning. We'll get to that at six.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Fifty when you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
It's three Things with tip on Well.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Good morning. It is just before seven o'clock on this
post Grammys Monday, so a majority of our three things
is going to be focused on them, but I will
sprinkle in some other tidbits of information here and there.
Let's start off with the red carpet. There are three
moments that you need to note. On number one, Jaden
Smith and Willow showed up and Jaden was wearing what
(02:22):
I can only describe as a cardboard cutout mansion one
that you would play with your barbieson on top of
his head. And I don't have an answer as to why,
and I don't think the internet does either. But he
stayed extremely committed to that outfit, not just for the
red carpet before the entire show. Second major carpet moment,
and probably the biggest one, was the fact that Kanye
(02:43):
West showed up with Bianca and she was completely nude.
And when I had said that to my friend Abby,
who I stole the cable from while I was watching
the Grammys with her last night, I said, she's naked,
and she's like, what do you mean? I said, It's
all over social media. So Kanye was there. Let's let's
squash some of the like the rumors that are false,
the false allegations. They were not asked to leave, and
(03:04):
they were not escorted out. Kanye was invited because he
was nominated for Best I Believe a rap song for
Carnivoe didn't end up winning. They and they only walked
the red carpet and then they left after them. She
walked in wearing a mink coat and while Kanye was
facing the camera and typical Kanye fashion in all black,
she was facing the wall behind him. She drops the
(03:25):
mink coat and she's wearing nothing but like a very thin,
thin nude mesh. When she turns around, she's full frontal.
I mean, there is just a small piece of what
looks like boop tape. Honestly, it could have been Skim's tape.
I'm not kidding that she could have been wearing skims.
(03:45):
That's it looked so much like something that Kim would
wear underneath a full outphit. And that was just her
full alphit, full on nudity. And I think the Internet's like, hey,
are you okay? I even myself, I was like, Link
wants Bianca if you need someone to come get you.
But that is what they're known for, and that is
what Kanye is known for. I would like to think
(04:08):
that she isn't doing this without her own consent, but
I have no idea. I'm not involved in their group
text messages. That was a big moment, last red carpet
moment before we move on to the winners. Is the
fact that this Babyface interview is blowing up now. Was
it inappropriate? Absolutely? Am I trying to understand where the
host is coming from? You know me? Of course, Sam?
They work for the Associated Press mid interview with Babyface,
(04:31):
they essentially blow him off to talk to Chapelone and
it is so uncomfortable that the internet's going crazy.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
Yes, I think it's interesting.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Chapel Chapel you guys want to do that? Oh go
do that looked a little bit like fangirlss. I don't
think Kristin Ferrera what's her name? That's her name. I
doubt that she'll have a job moving forward. She had
to issue in a poly statement. That's how mad people were.
(05:01):
I get it. Babyface maybe not as relevant this year
as Chapel Rone, but as a professional, you don't do that.
I mean, it was busy. There are people in your
ear talking. I get it as a host, but that
was a big one. All right, let's move inside some
of the three or four big moments that you need
to know about this Core four winners. Song and Record
(05:23):
of the Year went to Kendrick Lamar for Not Like Us.
Best New Artist of the Year went to Chapel Roone.
An Album of the Year went to Beyonce. Now this
is the first time that Beyonce has ever won that award,
making her total Grammy at thirty five. I believe the
most winning in history. A couple big moments about Beyonce.
(05:46):
First of all, she walked in in true Beyonce fashion
thirty seconds before she was awarded Best Country Album, and
she was shocked. In fact, the Internet loves the fact
that Blue Ivy is always the one that's like, Mom, like,
get your act together. Here's Shaboozy talking about it.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
She's so focused, she's commanding, she's given instructions. She's there
just as much as everybody else's. It's not like I
get it out of things. She's there, wa Washington, lay back.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
Blue's given notes, said, Blue Ivy out there, given notes
to mom. You'll see the internet. But she's like, Mom,
get up, get up like you won then. And here's
Beyonce's acceptance speech for that one.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
By the way, I'd like to thank and acknowledge and
praise all of the firefighters for keeping us safe.
Speaker 6 (06:35):
I just feel very full and very honored. It's been many,
many years.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Let me play you a clip of Chapel Roane as well.
She accepted Best New Artists.
Speaker 7 (06:50):
I told myself, if I ever won a Grammy and
I got to stand up here in front of the
most powerful people in music, I would demand that in
the industry profiting millions of dollars off of artists would
offer a livable wage in healthcare, especially to developing artists.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
That was a big moment. So those are the core
four song and record When to Kendrick album went to Beyonce,
Best New Artists went to Chapel Roone. Sabrina Carpenter picked
up two for Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal.
Taylor won nothing, and I believe that's the first Crammies
really ever that Taylor has walked away with nothing. However,
(07:32):
there was a really sweet moment circulating the internet where
Taylor was the one that presented Beyonce with the award
for Best Country Album, and years prior, Beyonce is the
one that presented Taylor with a similar award at the VMA.
So the Internet loved that. Who I think we've made
it through some of the bigger ones. I'm gonna sprinkle
(07:54):
more Grammys content in coming up in our seven o'clock hour,
but that'll least get you off and run in coming
up at seven twenty. I'm so excited for this kiss
one oh seven to one or I'm sorry, seven thirty
rather is celebrating singles this week and giving out single
concert tickets, single movie tickets, and singles event passes. So
(08:16):
if you're like, ooh, that's me, I would love that,
don't go far. Good morning.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Well as you're waking up in the morning, kiss one
O seven one.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
All right, it's time for chit chat roulette. If you
are familiar with the show on Monday, Sarah at least
from W. E. Bianna, a good friend of my inner
circle and our show's inner circle. We come on together
and we put the biggest topics, the biggest things that
we're talked about from Friday when we walked out the
store until this morning into one big wheel. And we
do that so that we stay on track. You know,
(08:44):
especially on Monday, it's tough to stay on.
Speaker 8 (08:46):
Track, and we rarely stay on track. They're struggling today.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
T minus five minutes.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
All right, we have five minutes on the clock. We're
obviously going to start with the Grammys. Biggest thing that
you were surprised about, go.
Speaker 8 (08:58):
Uh Bianca being naked again? Are you surprised about that?
Speaker 3 (09:03):
At this point?
Speaker 8 (09:04):
It's like, I don't think the girl owns clothing. I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
Is it a blink like, blink, blink once, blink twice
if you're okay?
Speaker 8 (09:11):
So please, why is this woman? I don't whatever, It's crazy. Also,
Taylor Swift didn't win anything.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
I was not surprised about that. I was very clear
that I didn't think this was going to be a
Grammys that was focused on Taylor. I thought maybe she
would win the collab with Fortnite, but did not.
Speaker 8 (09:28):
It was kind of all about Beyonce, Sabrina Carpenter, who else.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Kendrick Lamar tell me that you thought that the Grammys
was very well balanced this year.
Speaker 8 (09:39):
It was great. I loved it.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
As far as winners. You know those years where Taylor
was just sweep swapping everything. Billy Eilish was sweeping up everything.
Speaker 8 (09:47):
Billy doing anything.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
I know, and I really thought that Billy was going
to take home Album of the Year.
Speaker 8 (09:55):
I think she thought that too. Looked a little emotional.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
I couldn't. I really do think that she was supporting
Beyonce as far as her emotions go.
Speaker 8 (10:03):
I think for the camera she was supporting Beyonce, you think.
I also think it was very shocking that Beyonce got
Country Album of the Year. Everybody in that category was
kind of like, are you serious about this?
Speaker 6 (10:15):
Look?
Speaker 8 (10:15):
I love Beyonce, but I don't know that album.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
It's so interesting how these awards are chosen amongst the
you know, thousands of people that vote on them. Beyonce
has been now nominated for Album of the Year a
few times, and those albums I thought were more worthy
of Album of the Year than Cowboy Carter was.
Speaker 8 (10:34):
All you gotta do is go into a country category.
I guess that's what it does.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
And I wonder if it's because she really kind of
blew that genre out of the water for this year
and really just put a lot of the stigma and
like put a lot of that to the side. And
maybe the Academy saw that as like, hey, she's carving
the way for others to do the same, and maybe
that's why they give it to her her cultural significance.
But I thought it was going to Billy.
Speaker 8 (10:59):
Yeah it was. I don't know. I do love her
shocking face moment making memes. Oh, I love her social media.
I'm like, well, at least she gave us a really
good meme that we can use this week.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
That was my big shock of the night too, is
that Beyonce yours was Bianca Mine was Beyonce winning Album
of the Year. Country Album of the Year. Wasn't surprised,
but let's talk performances.
Speaker 8 (11:22):
Sabrina Carpenter. She's just everyone's little pollypocket. She can do
no wrong. She looked stunning, she's charming, she's cute, she's funny,
she's talented, she can sing, dance. I love that Taylor
Swift stood up for her. I mean, Taylor Swift is
like everyone's hype woman. But just a lot of really
special girly moments last night that I really appreciated.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
Sabrina Carpenter picked up two YEP the Core four Album
of the Year to Beyonce. Song and Record of the
Year went to Kendrick Lamar and Best New Artist. That
was the category. I think that was going to be
the most talked about. Yeah, that went to Chapelone, and
I was not surprised, but I really thought it was
going to go towards Sabrina.
Speaker 8 (12:02):
Okay, yeah, I could see that loved Chapelone getting up
there and I put you in her thing. I'm sure
you played that already, but yeah, she's amazing.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
All right, let's move. I think that was it. Oh,
the one surprised moment outside of Taylor wearing the tea
chain on her leg.
Speaker 8 (12:17):
That's gonna be a thing now, isn't it. Thigh chains?
You know, I'm down for a thigh chain, a thigh
chain immediately, immediately. Yeah, gonna get like a little s
on my leg. Dude, It's sexy, it is. She can
make anything trend. And she was wearing the Chiefs red,
the little short number. We rarely see her go short too.
She's always all about the long evening gowns.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
You make a good point on that one.
Speaker 8 (12:39):
I was shocked. The red stiletto, the red short dress,
red earrings, red lip, red nails, red jewelry.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Do you think that was Chief's focus or you think
that was.
Speaker 8 (12:47):
Just her ons focus?
Speaker 1 (12:49):
I could.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
I mean, she's always a worn red though, loving her
is red. We're already at one last moment.
Speaker 8 (12:54):
Uh huh.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
You know who's not okay today? Kanye West, Drake?
Speaker 8 (13:02):
What happened with Drake?
Speaker 9 (13:03):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (13:03):
I mean Kendrick Lamar. The whole crowd was singing, not
like us. I was really surprised that Taylor was dancing
because I know her and Drake are kind of tight.
Speaker 8 (13:11):
Oh yeah, all right, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
Should I spin the wheel? Do you have anything else?
There's so much.
Speaker 8 (13:16):
Didty dirt Diddy got out of jail he had to
go get an MRI. The dude has been complaining that
he's having knee issues.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Do you think that that's legit? Or you okay?
Speaker 8 (13:28):
I think you'll say anything to get out of jail.
I would milk the hell out of this, like I
would have to go to the hospital every single day,
Like I think my knee just fell off. Please give
me to the hospital. My elbows buck to fall off.
Everything sucks? Can you blame Ditty?
Speaker 5 (13:42):
Also?
Speaker 8 (13:43):
Little Pucksatani Phil he saw his shadow, that little rat.
I hate him so much. What a jerk? Six more
weeks of winter.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
Not okay that little rat.
Speaker 7 (13:53):
Oh.
Speaker 8 (13:53):
I will wear his stickers If the girlies in the
bar want to bring me more Pupsatani fill stickers all
for them.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Sixty seven degrees for the hide today, though.
Speaker 8 (14:02):
Setting a record, so CVG set it at sixty six
degrees back in eighteen eighty three. Fun fact, can we
beat it?
Speaker 3 (14:10):
How many guys do you think you're gonna put on
a thong sandal today? No? Good morning? Speaking of hot
in here. You know that there's a guy in the
tri State that is gonna wear a pair of thong
sandals today cause it's going to be sixty five degrees outside.
Let me tell you that it's not appropriate now. It's
not appropriate in the summer. Only appropriate if there is
(14:33):
sand under your feet, or you're in the confines of
your own yard. You're waking up with tip in the
morning on Kiss one of seven one, and you know
my thoughts on it. Happy Monday. I'm checking your talkbacks.
Why do there seem to be so many redundant categories
at the Grammys, like Record of the Year and Album
of the Year and Song of the Year, and then
there's just so many that seem to be the same
(14:55):
as other categories. Please explain, all right, So Record of
the Year goes for like the biggest banger in the
biggest hit. Song of the Year is more of like
a songwriter's category, if that helps. Okay, coming up in
three minutes, you will need the keyword singles. I am
celebrating singles all week on my show. I have concert
tickets and movie tickets and all of the above coming
(15:17):
for my singles slash solos. Right after Miguel, like I said,
with that keyword, So don't go far.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, kiss, good morning.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
I am celebrating singles and solos all week on my show.
And if that is enough information for you, and you're like,
I don't care what you're giving away, Tiffany, I am.
I fit into those categories. I'm down for whatever. Go
ahead and start dialing if you have the keyword that
I mentioned earlier this morning five one three seven four
nine one seven one go ahead. Let me take a
(15:49):
second to explain what this is though, because it's the
first time that I'm doing this on my show. I'm
celebrating singles and solos by giving away single tickets to
various things around on the tri State. That's the gist
of it right now. Bryce Vine is one of them.
He's coming to coming to Sinci, I think actually on
Valentine's Day. Okay, So if you want just a single
(16:11):
concert ticket to go see Bryce Vine, and you want
a single movie pass. You know my people at Showcase
Cinema and I said, Hey, I want to do this,
they were like, totally, tif go for it. They're gonna
give you a single movie pass. If that sounds cool
to you and you have the keyword that I mentioned
five one three seven four nine one oh seven one,
I'm doing it every day this week at seven thirty
(16:33):
and eight thirty. Let me explain what the difference is,
but for me between single and solo. Single is obviously
what it is. You're not partnered with anyone in this life.
Solo I have I rocked that position for a couple
of years when I first moved here. Solo means that
you might be in a relationship long distance, or they
might even live right next to you every single day
(16:54):
you wake up next to them, but you want to
experience something new on your own. I was an LDR
for the first three years that I moved here, so
I though I was committed to someone, I still had
to go out and make friends in a city that
I had never lived in before. I had to try
and experience new things. So that's why I also pay
homage to my solo people as well, because I've fit
(17:15):
into both categories. All right, does that make sense? Five
one three seven four nine one oh seven one. If
you have the keyword that I mentioned earlier and you
want a single ticket to Bryce, fine and a single
ticket to Showcase Cinema. You call me in the meantime,
we're still commercial free. Good morning.
Speaker 10 (17:31):
Back, you love me too? All this time out west
you there all alone.
Speaker 9 (17:45):
Cause you're waking up with Fifth in the morning on
just one o seven one.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
You have to remind me that I have to make
a post about this on social media too so we
can reach some other people in the Tri State. Hi,
good morning. I'm hoping you have a keyword for me. Congratulations.
You just won Tiff in the morning singles. I don't
even know what to call this single solo's package where
we're sending you a single ticket to Bryce Vine and
(18:10):
a single ticket to the movies at Showcase Cinema. Great,
thank you, You're so welcome. And now you're in the
running for my friends at Date Sin Seen. They have
a singles event happening in March, and so now you're
in the running to win a ticket to that as well.
Speaker 8 (18:24):
My gal, how exciting.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
Thank you?
Speaker 1 (18:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (18:26):
What's your name? What neighborhood are you waking up with?
Speaker 11 (18:28):
Me?
Speaker 8 (18:28):
And Samantha Westchester?
Speaker 3 (18:30):
Samantha are you single? Are you solo? What do you
think single? Okay, it's not weird for me to give
away single concert tickets on my show, right, I mean,
does that make sense to you?
Speaker 8 (18:39):
Absolutely not?
Speaker 3 (18:40):
Okay, I go all the time on myself. Yeah, same right,
And actually I go to things so much by myself
that like the second ticket that I have sometimes goes
to waste because no one can go, so I end
up going alone anyway. Joy, Well, I appreciate you listening
to Tiff in the morning.
Speaker 8 (18:56):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
You're welcome. If your ears are perking up and you'll
I want in on this, then like less than an
hour from now, I have another chance for you to
win at eight thirty, and we're doing it all week singles, solos,
I got you? Okay. In the meantime, we're still commercial free.
We're not far off from the three things you need
to know to get your day started in Cincy, including
(19:17):
more Grammys recaps, et cetera. Speaking of the Grammys, Shakira
right here, she won Best Latin Album last night, presented
by j low.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Lynn.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
You need to know she's got you. It's three Things
with Tip.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
Hey, good morning, we're just before eight o'clock. At eight thirty,
I'm celebrating singles and solos all week on my show.
I'll explain more in a few minutes. We're gonna start
with the Grammys, but just know our entire report will
entirely be focused on that. I'm gonna give you the
things that you need to know about it though. Last
night Core four winners Kendrick Lamar picking up Best Record
(19:55):
and Song of the Year, Beyonce picking up Best Album
of the Year first time for her thirty five Grammys
for That Woman, and Chapel Roan picked up Best New Artists.
Those are the biggest categories of the night. You know,
why don't we hear from Beyonce right now? On Album
of the Air.
Speaker 5 (20:15):
I'd like to thank and acknowledge and praise all of
the firefighters for keeping us safe.
Speaker 6 (20:21):
I just feel very full and very honored. It's been many,
many years.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
Be so committed to your outfits, ladies, your outfits and
your makeup. Be so committed that you don't kiss your
husband when you go to winn a Gramm. It's like
the second time I've used this statement on my show.
If you know, you know Milania Trump did the same
thing at the inauguration. Let me play Kendrick Lamar as well. Guys.
I was really surprised that he was there. I don't
(20:52):
know for some reason. To me, it was totally up
in the air because of his halftime performance coming up
in a week. This is him accepting Song of the Year.
Speaker 12 (21:01):
All the West Coast artists. Man early early on g Malone, Problem,
bad Luck, k Boy, Daylight, Mike Show. He used the
catch that inspired me to be the MC I am
today Schoolboy Jay Rock app So this is what is
about man because at the end of the day, nothing
more powerful than rap music. I don't care what it is.
(21:23):
We are the culture. It's gonna always stay here and
live forever.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
The one overall arching theme about the Grammys is I
felt it was very well balanced. Everyone except Billie Eilish
won a little bit of everything. Yeah, Sabrina Carpenter with
two chaperone Best New Artist, Kendrick won this Beyonce one.
That Taylor did not win anything, but I was not
surprised about that. She was doing her things. She's always
(21:50):
up dancing around, cheering everyone on. She knows exactly what
she's doing. We didn't get any like album announcements from
her because you remember one year ago when she one
for Midnights. That's when she announced the Tortured Poets Department. Okay,
I think that's pretty much everything on that from second
and three things you need to know. Let's talk a
(22:11):
little bit more about Beyonce. We got the announcement for
the tour. I don't like these dates, I don't like
these cities. I'm hoping that there is more added to it.
She did announce over the weekend with a photo of her. Hey,
Cowboy Carter tour is on the way, et cetera. Los Angeles, Chicago,
(22:35):
New York, London, Houston, Washington, d C. Las Vegas, and Atlanta.
Maybe they'll be more added to that. Maybe she'll do
kind of like Harry How Harry Styles did that tour
a couple of years ago where he did like eight
or nine nights in a single city and people came
to him. Maybe it'll be like that. I'm just praying
for more dates.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Oh, there was one other tidbit of Grammys. Will you
allow me to go back for a hot second, because
I think you'd really like this. They're celebrating the fortieth
anniversary of the Jordan Sneaker, so the commercials for the
first time were a really big deal at the Grammys.
Not only did they pay tribute to fire aid victims
(23:18):
in Los Angeles, the Grammys and CBS donated commercial time
to local businesses, etc. We did see that for the
first time. There were lots of tributes throughout the night
for fire aid victims. You'll see that circulating social But
this one commercial about the Air Jordan's stuck out to me.
Here's a quick clip for you.
Speaker 13 (23:38):
Nineteen eighty four, Nike created the revolutionary Air Jordan one.
One month later they were banned from the game. Nike
could have paid a fine, but they didn't.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
It was five thousand dollars every game.
Speaker 13 (23:52):
And it changed everything. The Air Jordan was a massive failure.
There were no more signature shoes, no catchphrases.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
It goes on and on, and if you don't notice,
if you didn't see that Nike movie this past summer,
I loved it. Highly recommend it. If you didn't know
this story. The Jordan shoe became what it is because
of Michael Jordan. Back during the sneaker days, right, the
athlete wore the shoe, not the other way around. Where
the shoe became the athlete and basketball shoes had to
(24:25):
be a high percentage of the color white. But Nike
at the time was like, listen, Michael Jordan, we believe
in you so much. We believe in this shoe. We
believe in the sport so much that we are willing
to make it Chicago Bulls colors majority black and red.
And we will pay a fine every single time you
wear that shoe and you put your foot on the court,
(24:47):
will pay the five thousand dollars fine. And that's why
Michael Jordan ended up going with Nike, and then the
Jordan became what it is we know today. All right,
little history for it. Let's move on finally in three
things you need to know this morning. Lastly, here in Sincy,
we have an update on four seventy one and things
seem to be running very smooth.
Speaker 14 (25:07):
On Saturday, O Doc Cruise reported the completion of the
second concrete port and the placing of the new sidewall.
Now the curing process is set for the next five
to eight days. Each concrete port took nearly six hours
and the crews need temperatures to exceed fifty degrees to
cure properly.
Speaker 3 (25:23):
And it's all going well. I think temperatures are in
the sixties. Fingers crossed. I can now officially say that
the bridge will open supposedly next month. All right, that
is three things you need to know for the third
of February. We're celebrating singles at eight thirty. Do not
go far if your singles state right here, you're waking.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Up with fifth in the morning, kiss one O seven to.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
One in the morning. Kendrick Lamarm picked up five at
the Grammy's last night. We'll table that discussion until three
things around eight fifty. I do it every day at
that time. Air But we're talking about Airbnb right now.
That is the keyword. You will need Airbnb to win
the single movie passes in the single concert tickets to
Bryce Fine or I should say single ticket singular in
(26:08):
a few minutes from now. We're celebrating singles and solos
all week on my show. All right, have you heard
about this airbnb story here? What are your thoughts on Airbnb?
Do you own one? Do you use them when you
travel to a city. Do you typically search for Airbnb first?
Or do you go to hotels first. I feel like
it's flipped six seven, eight years ago, ten years ago. You,
(26:32):
I mean, we all only looked at AIRBNBM as of
the last four three four years, I feel like hotels
made a really big comeback. So this is where you're
gonna contribute on whether or not you've had kind of
like an ick experience at an Airbnbcause when I read this,
I was definitely siding with the guest. I'll read the
(26:55):
story to you. If you're a fan of Reddit, you
might have already seen this one. His wife, daughter, and
I stayed at an Airbnb in November, perfectly normal stay.
Nothing happened. When we left. The owner said there was
a small stain on the hardwood floor he couldn't clean
and said it took him seven five hundred dollars to
(27:15):
fix seven thousand, five hundred dollars to fix this small stain,
including literally replacing the floorboards. We know nothing about this,
We saw nothing.
Speaker 8 (27:27):
It looked.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
Totally normal when we were there. This feels like insurance
fraud or something. Airbnb took his side because we couldn't
provide a picture of the floor at the exact minute
we walked into the door. Are you kidding me? Has
anyone else experienced something like this with Airbnb? Maybe any
attorneys that you know? That feels wild to me. My
(27:53):
first thought when I go into an airbnb is to
not take photos of it, and you can't. You certainly
can't cover every square inch of the air bab to
see if there's a floor, like a scratch on the floor.
It's been a while since I've stayed in one. I
looked for an Airbnb for my birthday this year because
I was trying to hunt down if there are any
(28:15):
places in the tri State that had hot tubs, and
I really wanted a hot tub for my birthday. It's
like my favorite thing in the world. But it's been
a while since I've stayed in one. I feel like
we've gone towards hotels a little bit more. Let's do this.
Have you had an experience at an airbnb, because I
feel like this guy could really use our help and
see if there's anyone else that's had maybe something similar.
(28:36):
Five one three seven four nine one oh seven one.
Explain your experience. You could also talk back with Tiff
as well if you don't feel like calling. That's an
iHeartRadio app feature. But that Airbnb, by the way, is
the keyword you're gonna need for the singles tickets next. God,
I love that song. There is just something about it.
(28:58):
You are waking up with tip in the morning on
I just want to sep one. We're in the midst
of talking about Airbnb stories. If you're just walking into this,
the gist of it was not all airbnb experiences are great,
not that all hotel experiences are great, but having to
pay seventy five hundred dollars to get a scratch fixed
(29:20):
on a wood floor seems a little insane to me.
Can you imagine a vacation going from I don't know,
the normal two three thousand dollars vacation, depending on where
you're going at maybe it's just a grand Really everything
feels like it's three or four thousand dollars now, Ray
imagine trying to go away for a quick weekend trip
and then the total now bumps up another seventy five
(29:43):
hundred dollars. That's nuts. We're checking your stories. We'll start
with our talkbacks.
Speaker 15 (29:49):
So my best friend and I rented out a Gorgon's
Airbnb and we were sleeping and all of a sudden,
the piano started to play. And it wasn't an automatic piano.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
Oh no, yeah, it was crazy.
Speaker 15 (30:01):
Then the water started to run in the bathtub, and
neither one of us is in the bathroom.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
Oh that's a no for me. Do we have any
spooky Airbnb's here in Cincy or in Northern Kentucky Indiana?
The uh? Have you ever stayed in an Airbnb in
our own city? I've done it one time when my
girlfriends came in from Boston. We had a great experience.
There's one that's right above the Pony in OTR. We
stayed there for a weekend and we loved it. I'm
(30:29):
glad that we haven't gotten any other stories than the
one that I just read you. That's good, right, that's good.
That means that art, like Airbnb reputation here in cincy's good.
That's a good thing. But if you do have a story,
you're more than welcome to share. Five one three seven
four nine, one oh seven one, anything wild, anything expensive.
Airbnb is a keyword that you're gonna need to win
(30:49):
a single ticket to Bryce Vine in a single movie ticket. Next,
we're celebrating singles all week on my show.
Speaker 9 (30:56):
You're waking up with FIfF in the morning on Kiss
one O.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
Seven one, and I'm celebrating singles and solos all week
on my show. You have a chance to win a
single ticket to Bryce find a single ticket to the movies,
and then you're in the running. For my friends at
Date Cincy. They're doing singles events in February and March.
And if you have the keyword that I mentioned earlier,
(31:19):
go ahead, start dialing. If this speaks to you, five win, three, seven, four, nine,
one seven to one. All right, I love it, love it,
love it. Trying something new on my show, we were
in the midst of talking about airbnbs and Airbnb stories. Right,
if you're just walking into this, I had read something
on Reddit that, uh, seventy five hundred bucks is what
Airbnb charged to this guy due to a scratch on
(31:43):
the floor in the Airbnb that he was staying and
he didn't take pictures of the place, which I've never done,
so we had to pay the money. Imagine seventy five
hundred dollars. That's not so we're taking your Airbnb stories.
Good morning, you're on the air.
Speaker 13 (31:56):
I got a hot girl.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
Yeah, I love you.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Oh my god, you don't have an Airbnb? Oh do
you hang up on me?
Speaker 6 (32:06):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (32:06):
Tease me with a good time. I was just talking
about how I always look for Airbnbs with hot tubs.
But if you have a story, you're more than welcome
to share five win, three, seven, four nine, one oh
seven one. If you want the singles tickets, go ahead
and start dialing that number. I have two open phone lines.
In the meantime, we're still commercial free.
Speaker 9 (32:25):
Good morning, you're waking up what'sif in the morning on
just one seven one?
Speaker 6 (32:29):
All right?
Speaker 3 (32:29):
Congrats to Lady Gaga. Well, I guess I shouldn't say congrats,
but she debuted a new song during the commercials of
The Grammy's Last Night. If you can give me like
three or four minutes, I'll have that for you first,
starting with you, Do you have a keyword for me?
I'm hoping yes. Congratulations you on our single solos package.
(32:49):
You got a single ticket to Brycebne and a single
movie ticket and you're now in the running for a
package with our friends at Date Cincy for a singles event.
That's awesome. Thank you so much. You're welcome. What's your
name of what neighborhood? You waking up with me and
Marissa and no friend Marissa. Thank you for listening to
TIF in the morning every day. I really appreciate you always.
Speaker 15 (33:11):
I appreciate you, kid.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
I love it. We are celebrating singles and solos all
week Okay. I know, I don't know if you feel
comfortable with this, but I have single concert tickets, single
movie passes. I love it. I do stuff solo all
the time. So I said, if I'm doing it, someone
else has got to do it seven thirty and eight
thirty all week long. If you want to set a
reminder and you're also in the running for package to
(33:36):
with date Sinsey for a singles event, okay, all right,
if you can trade me out a few minutes to
your time, I have the three things you need to
know to get your day started in Cincy. Jamar Chase
had me laughing this weekend. I'll have that next Glynn.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
You need to know she's got you.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
It's three Things with tiff Hi, good morning.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
We're just before nine o'clock. At nine oh five, I
have your chance to pay your bills on Kiss with
one thousand bucks. I'm sure it'll come handy. We'll get
to the Grammys here in a hot second. But I
figured we'd start off with the Pro Bowl this weekend.
Our guys Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase were definitely front
and center with the media. I had already played some
audio last week about how Joe Burrow was like pai
(34:17):
Jamar Chase, and here he is right here just talking
about his true feelings on Kansas City.
Speaker 16 (34:24):
Everyone knows I'm not a KC fan, so I'm hoping
to say Kuhi rushes for like two hundred this game,
you know, So I think overall it will be a
great game, just because both sides has great players.
Speaker 9 (34:34):
On you.
Speaker 3 (34:35):
The NFC team ended up beating the AFC seventy six
to sixty three, and now we're one week out from
the super Bowl and the halftime performer Kendrick Lamar takes
us into the second of three things that you need
to Know this morning. Core four winners from the Grammys
last night. Kendrick Lamar took home Record and Song of
(34:56):
the Year, Beyonce took home Album of the Year, first
time he's ever won that, and then Chapel Roon Sad
home Best New Artist of the Year. Other notable moments,
Fire Aid was a really big moment for the Grammys.
You know, I had figured, we knew that they were
going to pay tribute, so that was throughout the night.
Lots of money donated and raised. There was also a
(35:21):
big moment for Lady Gaga. Let's talk about the commercials
for a hot second. For the first time ever, the
Grammy's commercials were like a thing like kind of like
Super Bowl. They CBS donated time to small businesses in
la commercial airtime to try to get the word out
about small businesses. We also saw Lady Gaga use the
(35:41):
commercial platform to debut a brand new single. I have
a clip for you here. I lie, that's not the clip.
Here's the clip, very much in line if you saw
the music video which is available now in the song,
(36:03):
very much like old Lady Gaga from early two thousand
and eight and nine, kind of like the Bad Romance days.
Her new album comes out on March seventh. We already
have a song from it called Disease. You're probably familiar
with that one. I think that was it. And then lastly,
with the Grammys, the tribute section did pay tribute to
(36:26):
Liam Payne amongst many other artists. Here's a quick clip
for you. We never expected any of this. Souse, Yeah,
just said think about it.
Speaker 13 (36:40):
We've done something.
Speaker 3 (36:42):
And then Chris Martin performed after them. All right, we've
covered all things Grammys. You can get caught up on
the podcast at your leisure. Very lastly, in three Things Quickly,
that little rat, that little groundhog rat saw his shadows.
So supposedly we've got six more weeks of winter. I
think he's only right like thirty percent of the time.
And it's going to be in the sixties today. Good morning, you're.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
Waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 6 (37:04):
Huh.
Speaker 1 (37:04):
Kiss one.
Speaker 3 (37:07):
I'm actually gonna let the talk back Mike handle this
next part of our conversation. If you've never searched Kiss one,
oh seba one on the iHeartRadio app. It's free and
I highly recommend it because you can talk back with
Tiff at your leisure on anything you want. The microphone
is in the top right hand corner, and I got
this message.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
I got a quick question for you guys.
Speaker 11 (37:26):
So I was watching wrestling on Saturday, the World of Rumbled,
and there's a couple of butts I saw. Some were
real and some looks like a BBL. Can you guys
tell if a butt's real or if they had a BBL?
Speaker 5 (37:45):
Yah?
Speaker 3 (37:46):
Well, thank you so much for thinking of me on
that one. Maybe because I'm a part of Girl world.
I am a little naive on the BBL front, and
I'm also very naive eve on the wrestling front. But
that event was probably the biggest in person event for
(38:06):
the for the entire weekend. And the Grammys happened this weekend,
The Pro Bowl happened this weekend. You know who's an
expert on this?
Speaker 8 (38:14):
Give me one second.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
Let me see if my guy rick Yuchino's here from WLW.
Hold on, Rick, can you come talk about wrestling real quick? Okay,
he's coming in. Dude. This guy's obsessed, like probably has
the figurines around his office, in his in his room.
Jump on that mic really quick. I got questions this
one right here about wrestling and whatnot. Okay, I'm gonna
(38:37):
play this really quick this talk back and then you
answer it for me. Okay, if you have any insight,
I got a.
Speaker 7 (38:42):
Quick question for you, guys.
Speaker 11 (38:43):
So I was watching wrestling on Saturday, the World of Rumble,
and there's a couple of bots. I saw, some were
real and some looks like a BBL.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
Do you know anything about the BBL but left in
the wrestling world. Did that happen?
Speaker 4 (38:59):
Okay?
Speaker 17 (38:59):
So this is actually like a thing that has been
going on with a couple of the with a couple
of the female talents.
Speaker 4 (39:10):
There.
Speaker 17 (39:10):
There is a very talented performer in the WWE. Her
name is Bailey okay, and she is very naturally gifted
in a certain areas.
Speaker 4 (39:18):
Are we saying? Okay?
Speaker 17 (39:20):
And there is another female performer by the name of
Nya Jacks who likes to poke fun at her for
it okay and make claims. But that is just in
in ingest it is it is not an actual, okay
thing that is going on.
Speaker 3 (39:34):
Let's talk about the actual event. For those that don't know,
Rick is personally obsessed with WWE. And you contribute to Sports.
Speaker 17 (39:40):
I am the main one of the main wrestling writers
and contributors for Sports Illustrated.
Speaker 3 (39:45):
Yet, okay, what that that was?
Speaker 4 (39:48):
Rick?
Speaker 3 (39:48):
That event was so big? Was that at Lucas Oil.
Speaker 17 (39:50):
It was at Lucas Oil and has sold it out.
It was over sixty six thousand.
Speaker 3 (39:54):
People, that's nats.
Speaker 17 (39:56):
Over sixty six thousand paid fans and tendons at Lucas
Oil Stadium to watch the Royal rumble.
Speaker 3 (40:02):
Yes, can you tell me what I'm so the naive
on this? What is the Royal What does that mean?
Speaker 4 (40:08):
So?
Speaker 17 (40:08):
The Royal Rumble is an event that is thirty eight
years old now. It's it's the big kickstart to WrestleMania season,
which WrestleMania is the super Bowl for WWE. Okay, so
this this event kickstarts what the main event matches are
going to be. There are two Royal Rumble matches, one
for the men, one for the women. Thirty competitors in
(40:29):
each one, and it's an over the top rope challenge.
So you get tossed out, you're both feet hit the floor,
you're eliminated. So it's a huge deal to win. To
win the Royal Rumble, this is a major event. It's
their second biggest one that they do outside of next
biggest one being WrestleMania. Obviously, this was a big get
for the city of Indianapolis and they're going to see
a ton of do from it.
Speaker 3 (40:49):
Talk about a world that I've never existed in. Let's
talk really quickly about the wrestling action figures that guys
have around their houses, Like is that should I be
turned off by that? Or is that normal? Do you
have figurines?
Speaker 17 (41:04):
I have a couple, but like they're they're in my
office because I do like live streaming for other stuff,
so uh and interviews and whatnot. So you know, I
have like a wrestling themed office and backdrop and things
like that. So I have a few memorabilia items behind me.
I played with them when I was younger.
Speaker 3 (41:20):
Okay, so you're not answering yes or no? Like is
it is it an ick? Or should I be?
Speaker 5 (41:24):
Like?
Speaker 3 (41:24):
Is this more normal that I should?
Speaker 4 (41:26):
Look?
Speaker 17 (41:26):
We all have our things, don't we, Like, I mean,
is it any different than collecting the Funko pops, the
Beanie Babies or Beanie babies, or bobbleheads or you know,
we all have our thing. We all spend our money
on different things.
Speaker 3 (41:39):
One last question about wrestling. It's then popular, but it's
becoming more popular. Should I be into wrestling more?
Speaker 4 (41:48):
I would give it a shot, honestly, I would.
Speaker 17 (41:51):
It's it's no different than any other soap opera, reality TV,
except people get hit in the head with with with
blunt objects.
Speaker 4 (41:59):
You know, it's it's.
Speaker 17 (42:00):
Soap opera for guys, right, But I think, especially now
women's wrestling is the talent is just unbelievable.
Speaker 4 (42:08):
There there are.
Speaker 17 (42:11):
Women's wrestlers who are coming out of the woodwork, who
are just as good as the guys. I think Ria
Ripley is somebody that you would really really like. I
think you would enjoy Bailey. There's some international superstars they
are going to be coming up here soon, Stephanie Va
Kerr and Julia for example. Yeah, give it a shot.
It's on Netflix tonight, Monday night, RAUW at eight o'clock.
They just signed this big deal with Netflix, available all
(42:32):
over the globe. I'd give it a shot.
Speaker 3 (42:34):
If I were to go on a date with someone
who loved wrestling, okay, and they and I wanted to
connect with them and get to get on their level.
What's something I could talk about that makes me sound educated?
Speaker 17 (42:45):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (42:46):
Oh boy?
Speaker 3 (42:46):
Like something simple? You know what terms should I use?
Speaker 17 (42:50):
Okay, Well, certain terms work versus shoot? Uh okay, So
a work means it's part of the script. A shoot
means oh no, there's actual drama there between two people.
So that's a good one to know. You know, babyfaces
and heels. Baby faces are the good guys. Heels are
the bad guys.
Speaker 3 (43:09):
Oh my god, Okay, give me one more?
Speaker 17 (43:11):
Uh one more off the top of my head here, Uh.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
I don't know, you're putting me on the spot.
Speaker 3 (43:18):
So Royle rumbles a big one. YEA SmackDown is a
big one.
Speaker 4 (43:21):
Well, SmackDown is the regular show on Friday nights. So there.
Speaker 17 (43:25):
WWE has three brands. They have because their roster is
so big that they split them up onto three different shows.
So you have Monday Night Raw, also called the Red Brand,
So that's obviously tonight coming to Cincinnati February twenty fourth.
Speaker 4 (43:36):
By the way, the Heritage Bank Center.
Speaker 16 (43:38):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (43:38):
I was going to ask if there's any wrestling coming here.
Speaker 17 (43:40):
Yes, So they are coming here very very soon. That'll
be the go home show before their next pay per view,
which is Elimination Chamber in Toronto.
Speaker 4 (43:48):
SmackDown is the Blue brand.
Speaker 17 (43:50):
That's the Friday night show that airs on the USA Network,
and then they have a developmental brand called NXT that
airs on Tuesday nights on the CW network.
Speaker 3 (43:57):
Here's what we're gonna do. Anyone that has tickets and
you want a date, I will go with someone as
a date to this Cincinnati event. Like I'm willing to
try this out.
Speaker 4 (44:06):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (44:07):
We're trying new things in twenty twenty five. If people
want to find if they are obsessed with wrestling and
they want to find your wrestling stuff. Where do they
find you?
Speaker 17 (44:14):
Uh follow me on x at rick Uccino r C
K U C C H I n O and checking
us out on the takedown on its side.
Speaker 4 (44:21):
That's the Sports Illustrated Wrestling Channel.
Speaker 3 (44:24):
Well, thank you very much, Ricking. Oh yeah, my go,
that was just in. That's a lot of information we're
learning on TIP in the morning. Coming up around nine
to forty, we'll get into the daily debrief. That's right.
I choose one big thing that we talked about today.
Obviously Grammy's related, but the one thing that really surprised
me and the one thing I really loved, my favorite
(44:44):
thing of the night. We'll get to that next.
Speaker 1 (44:47):
You're waking up in the morning, kiss one good morning.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
Snoop Dogg to this day has still never won a Grammy.
We're in the midst of the daily debrief. I choose
one big thing every week, I'm sorry, choose one big
thing that we talk about every day out of the
four hours of conversation that you and I can get
to and we revisit it, giving you a chance to
get involved in I don't know, maybe this is the
first time that you're waking up this is the first
time you're hearing my voice. And if that's the case,
(45:12):
good More name Grammys were the biggest topic of conversation.
We're going to cover three things, the first being snubs.
I guess if you were to say snub, Taylor didn't
win anything, neither did Billie Eilish. I'm not surprised that
Taylor didn't win anything, but I am surprised that Billy didn't.
Uh surprises. I was surprised that Beyonce won Best Album
(45:34):
of the Year. She's never won that one, and out
of all the albums that Beyonce has put out, I'm
surprised that this is the one that got our Best
Album of the Year. And then I want to talk
about commercials, which is really the bulk of our conversation here.
For the first time, commercials were kind of treated like
Super Bowl commercials, where you stay watching the Grammys to
(45:57):
see what the commercials were like. Because of the fire
in LA, the Grammys and CBS donated commercial time to
small businesses in LA, which I loved. Lady Gaga used
the commercial platform to debut her new song called I
Think It's Abracadabra, comes out on her new album March seventh.
(46:17):
But my favorite favorite commercial of the night was this
one here celebrating the Air Jordan's forty first birthday. If
you didn't see this commercial, here it is.
Speaker 13 (46:29):
In nineteen eighty four, Nike created the revolutionary Air Jordan.
One one month later, they were banned from the game.
Nike could have paid a fine, but they didn't.
Speaker 3 (46:42):
It was five thousand dollars every game.
Speaker 13 (46:44):
And it changed everything. The Air Jordan was a massive failure.
There were no more signature shoes, no catchphrases.
Speaker 6 (46:54):
What is.
Speaker 3 (46:56):
It goes on from there. You can get caught up
on the internet if you want to see the full
but it essentially is like, well, what if Nike never
paid the Air Jordan five thousand dollars fine, we wouldn't
have all these things that we know and sneaker in
pop culture today, right, And if you have no idea
about the Jordan's story, very cool. You gotta watch the
Nike movie. That's my number one recommendation, and number two,
(47:19):
you can get caught up on the podcast when you
search Tiftiff in the Morning. I talked about it at
length earlier today on why that fine was, Why did
Nike get fined every game that Jordan played. If you
didn't know, this story is really cool. Like I said,
get caught up on the podcast. Everything we do against
podcasts for you to catch up when you have some
free time. Good morning, Happy Monday. That little rat saw
(47:42):
his shadows, so we're supposedly gonna have more winter. However,
it's going to be in the sixties today
