Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. Huh, Kiss one.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
I'm actually gonna let the talk back Mike handle this
next part of our conversation. If you've never searched Kiss
one oh seven one on the iHeartRadio app, It's free
and I highly recommend it because you can talk back
with Tiff at your leisure on anything you want. The
microphone is in the top right hand corner, and I
got this message.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
I got a quick question for you guys.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
So I was watching wrestling on Saturday, the World of Rumble,
and there's a couple of butts I saw. Some were
real and some looks like a BBL. Can you guys
tell if a butt's real or if they had a BBL?

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Y'are you well?

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Thank you so much for thinking of me on that one.
Maybe because I'm a part of girl World, I am
a little naive on the BBL front, and I'm also
very naive on the wrestling front. But that event was
probably the biggest in person event for the for the

(01:05):
entire weekend. And the Grammys happened this weekend, The Pro
Bowl happened this weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
You know who's an expert on this?

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Give me one second let me see if my guy
Rick Uchino's here from WLW.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Hold on, Rick, can you talk about wrestling real quick? Okay,
he's coming in.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
This guy's obsessed, like probably has the figurines around his
office in his in his room.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Jump on that mic really quick.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I got questions this one right here about wrestling and whatnot. Okay,
I'm gonna play this really quick this talk back and
then you answer it for me.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Okay, if you have any insight.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
I got a quick question for you, guys. So I
was watching wrestling on Saturday. The Orala rumbled and there's
a couple of butts I saw, some were real and
some looks like a BBL.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Do you know anything about the BBL but left in
the wrestling world that happen?

Speaker 5 (01:57):
Okay, So this is actually like a thing that has
been going on with a couple of the with a
couple of the female talents there. There is a very
talented performer in the WWE. Her name is Bailey okay,
and she is very naturally gifted in a certain areas.
Were saying, okay, And there is another female performer by

(02:22):
the name of Naya Jacks who likes to poke fun
at her for it, okay, and make claims, but that
is just in in ingest it is.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
It is not an actual, okay thing that is going on.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Let's talk about the actual event.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
For those that don't know, Rick is personally obsessed with WWE,
and you contribute to sports I.

Speaker 5 (02:39):
Am the main one of the main wrestling writers and
contributors for Sports Illustrated.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Yet, okay, what that that was?

Speaker 5 (02:46):
Rick?

Speaker 1 (02:46):
That event was so big? Was that at Lucas Oil.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
It was at Lucas Oil and has sold it out.
It was over sixty six thousand that's nuts, over sixty
six thousand paid fans in attendance at Lucas Oil Stadium
to watch the Royal Rumble.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Yes, can you tell me what? I'm so the naive
on this. What is the Royal What does that mean?

Speaker 3 (03:06):
So?

Speaker 5 (03:06):
The Royal Rumble is an event that is thirty eight
years old. Now it's it's the big kickstart to WrestleMania season,
which WrestleMania is the super Bowl for WWE. Okay, so
this this event kick starts what the main event matches
are going to be. There are two Royal Rumble matches,
one for the men, one for the women. Thirty competitors

(03:28):
in each one, and it's an over the top rope challenge,
so you get tossed out, you're both feet hit the floor,
you're eliminated. So it's a huge deal to win. To
win the Royal Rumble, this is a major event. It's
their second biggest one that they do outside of you know,
next biggest one being WrestleMania. Obviously, this was a big
get for the city of Indianapolis and they're going to
see a ton of o from it.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Talk about a world that I've never existed in.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Let's talk really quickly about the wrestling action figures that
guys have around their houses, Like is that like, should
I be turned off by that?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Or is that normal? Do you have figurines?

Speaker 5 (04:02):
I have a couple, but like they're they're in my
office because I do like live streaming for other stuff,
so uh and interviews and whatnot. So you know, I
have like a wrestling themed office and backdrop and things
like that. So I have a few memorabilia items behind me.
I played with them when I was younger.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Okay, so you're not answering yes or no, like is
it is it an ick? Or should I be like?
Is this more normal that I should.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
Look, we all have our things, don't we, like I mean,
is it any different than collecting the Funko pops, the
Beanie babies or Beanie babies, or bobbleheads or you know,
we all have our thing and we all spend our
money on different things.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
One last question about wrestling.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
It's then popular, but it's becoming more popular.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Should I be into wrestling more?

Speaker 3 (04:47):
I would give it a shot, honestly, I would.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
It's it's no different than any other soap opera, reality TV,
except people get hit in the head with with with
blunt objects. You know, it's it's it's soap opera for guys, right.
But I think, especially now women's wrestling is the talent
is just unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
There there are.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
Women's wrestlers who are coming out of the woodwork who
are just as good as the guys. I think Ria
Ripley is somebody that you would really really like. I
think you would enjoy Bailey. There's some international superstars that
are going to be coming up here soon, Stephanie Va
Kerr and Julia for example.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Yeah, give it a shot.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
It's on Netflix tonight, Monday Night Raw at eight o'clock
they just signed this big deal with Netflix available all
over the globe.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
I've given a shot.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
If I were to go on a date with someone
who loved wrestling, okay, and they and I wanted to
connect with them and get to get on their level.
What's something I could talk about that makes me sound educated?

Speaker 5 (05:43):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Oh boy, make something simple. You know what terms should
I use?

Speaker 5 (05:49):
Okay? Well, certain terms work versus shoot?

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (05:53):
Okay, So a work means it's part of the script.
A shoot means oh no, there's actual drama there between
two people. So that's that's a good one to know.
You know. Babyfaces and heels. Baby Faces are the good guys.
Heels are the bad guys.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Oh my god, Okay, give me one more?

Speaker 5 (06:10):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (06:10):
One more off the top of my head here?

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Uh, I don't know, you're putting me on the spot.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
So Royle rumbles a big one. SmackDown is a big one.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
Well, SmackDown is the regular show on Friday nights. So there.
WWE has three brands. Oh they have because their roster
is so big that they split them up onto three
different shows. So you have Monday Night Raw also called
the Red Brand. So that's obviously tonight coming to Cincinnati
February twenty fourth, by the way, at the Heritage Bank Center. Oh.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
I was going to ask if there's any wrestling coming here.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
Yes, So they are coming here very very soon. That'll
be the go home show before their next pay per view,
which is Elimination Chamber in Toronto. SmackDown is the Blue brand.
That's the Friday night show that airs on the USA Network,
and then they have a developmental brand called NXT that
airs on Tuesday nights on the CW Network.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Here's what we're going to do.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Anyone that has tickets and you want a date, I
will go with someone as a date to this Cincinnati event.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Like I'm willing to try this out.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
We're trying new things in twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
If people want to find if they are obsessed with
wrestling and they want to find your wrestling stuff, where
do they find you?

Speaker 5 (07:12):
Follow me on X at Rick Uccino R I C
K U, C C H I N O and checking
us out on the Takedown on his side. That's the
Sports Illustrated's Wrestling Channel.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Well, thank you very much.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
Rick. Oh yeah, my god, that was just and that's
a lot of information we're learning on Tip in the morning.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Coming up around nine to forty, we'll get into the
daily debrief. That's right.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Choose one big thing that we talked about today. Obviously
Grahamy's related, but the one thing that really surprised me
and the one thing I really loved, my favorite thing
of the night.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
We'll get to that next
