Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, kiss one
by good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
What's the dating scene like here in the Tri State. Well,
I can tell you that from my perspective, I try
everything in my power to meet someone in person out
in the wild, which means that there are fewer opportunities
and occasions to do so. But I really believe in
that that's something that I've always stood on and I
don't know if it'll be like that for forever, but
that's the phase of life I'm in right now. So

(00:25):
all week long on the Tri State, we've been celebrating
singles and solos. I like to think of someone if
they're solo, maybe they're in a long distance relationship, but
they still have to live your life like I've been there.
I was in a relationship for a couple of years,
but the finance guy lives somewhere else and I still
had to go off and experience things and learn about
the city.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
And so I.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Always like to pay tribute to those people as well.
In this specific instance, we're talking about single and dating,
and I've brought in two experts, the two experts in Cincinnati.
When it comes to meeting your person in person, you
might be familiar with them if you follow the account
date Sincy Right, that sounds familiar. Good morning Page, good morning,

(01:06):
good morning, logan, good morning. Well is the one thing
people need to know about finding their person in person
in such a like app heavy app dating world that
we live in.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Go ahead, either one of you yeah, I will say yeah.
I would say just come, you know, and be yourself.
And when you're meeting someone in person, it's so much
more authentic and genuine and like with the apps, you
can hide behind the screen, you can kind of take
on the personality of somebody else maybe and then but yeah,
we just say that come to our events and be

(01:37):
yourself and the right person your person will will find you.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Page you want to add to that, well, I just
love what you said about meeting somebody in the wild
because a lot of times people are like, what are
these dates since the events, Like like, am I gonna
like sit there and feel real awkward and force And
that's not it at all. We try to take the
wild and just contain it where you know, every single
person there is single, right, because every time I go out,
I really am paying attention. Does that person have a

(02:02):
ring on? Do they not what kind of energy are
they giving off? If I could add my personal insight
one more tidbit, when you are trying to meet someone
in the wild, look up, Yes, you have to look up.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
You have to pay attention. Like I've been working on
eye contact and like kind of holding eye contact with
someone and being open to receiving and paying attention and
being present in the environment that I'm in, whether it's
Igby's or the sushi restaurant or the grocery store, yeah,
wherever I may be, and being open to it. Because
if you constantly look down at your phone or pay

(02:35):
attention to your friends, yep, yep your events have I've
gone with a friend to a date since the event
that happens a lot too, right where you've got you
bring your wingwoman or wingman.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, So a lot of people do come with friends,
but then a lot of people kind of break up
and find, you know, other groups of friends, or we
encourage people when they come with friends to keep an
open mind and to just break away from those friend
groups because it's just easier, like you said, you know,
when when you're with a friend group, you're talking amongst

(03:05):
yourselves and you're not really as open to the possibility
of someone just passing by you or you know.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah, So that's logan page. Tell me what it's like
to come to one of your events. I've been, but
I like you've been to a million of them, so.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Right, right, So first of all, again, kind of as
Logan mentioned, you're going to walk in and realize very
quickly it's it is a very authentic Cincinnati, good people vibe.
Our volunteer team is there to greet you, to make
sure you feel like you know what's going on. As
soon as you walk in, you get a name tag,
you get a wristband where you can kind of tell
people if you're looking for something serious or something more casual.

(03:42):
We always have ice breakers of some sorts of some
type of game that kind of just helps break the
ice a little bit in a fun, playful way. And
then gosh, some of our events we have like one
hundred ish people, but then other events have up to
seven hundred people. So there's really something for everybody, because
we know that, you know, the bigger events aren't for everyone.
But to your point with looking up, I feel like
sometimes that has to do with people feeling nervous, so

(04:06):
they just kind of like, I mean, I do it,
and I'm waiting at you know, wherever I'm at, I
look at my phone because I'm like, oh, I don't know.
But also sometimes it's like we're just distracted with good
stuff like talking to friends or whatever it is that
we're kind of missing what's right.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Pay Yes, bring a friend with you that will help
put you out there. So let's talk about one or
two key events that you're looking towards.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Go ahead, Okay, great, So coming up soon we have two.
So at the end of February, we are still looking
for some single dads in the city.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
We are having our first.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Ever, due to the request of people on the GRAM,
single Parents Night, So that's February twenty first at Chasing
Calli Collective. So we need a few more single dads
to match those numbers, you know, make them even, and
then we're really looking forward to March first.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Yeah. So March first, we're gonna have a mystery Masquerade
night at Igbe's. So we're going to have three hundred
and fifty singles there. The whole place is private for
date Sincy attendees. We're going to provide like masquerade masks
for everybody but we encourage people to kind of bring
their own, be creative, have some fun with it. So
that's going to be a ton of fun. So tickets

(05:15):
are live, so yeah, get them, get them all the
last because this one is gonna go quick. It's going
to be kind of fun.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Well, this is Date Sincy. Obviously they have an Instagram account.
Come on, this is twenty twenty five, so you can
head on over if you're like a visual person and
you want to get the feel of what the events are.
I've been hooking you guys up all week with singles
and solo tickets to various things around the tri State.
You are automatically in the grand prize running to win
a package with Date Sincy when you listen to Tiff

(05:42):
in the Morning. So we appreciate you ladies.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Thanks for coming on the show. Yeah, thanks, Thanks for
having us
