Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. Huh kiss
one seven one.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
My husband gave me a trashmasher. Nothing says I love
you like a trash masher. However, fifty two years later,
I'd love that damn trash masher now, Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Well, in the moment, you probably give him a lot
of crap for it. Thank you for the talkback with Tiff.
When you search kiss on the iHeart radio app, the
microphone sits in the top right hand corner and you
just hold that down if you want to leave me
voice notes. Sometimes you guys get confused with the talkbacks.
It's just an alternative way to contribute. And sometimes I
get voice notes through my Instagram messages as well. It's
kind of the same thing. Whatever works for you, Okay,

(00:39):
thank you for that. We are talking about the top
five worst Valentine's Day gifts.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
I feel extremely.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Unqualified to talk about gift giving in general, but especially
in relationships, because I don't give them. I do not
give gifts, and I don't even like love receiving them
because I just don't return the favor with gifts relationships friendships.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
I'm not a gift giver.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
But if you want me to if you want to
go out and do a fun experience together.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Oh, I'm your girl. I am your girl.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
I give you the gift of a joy, a jolly,
joyful good time. But the act of gift giving is
just some Some people love it, and I hope I'm
talking to someone that is in the same boat as me,
and I'm not an alien. When I was in a relationship,
we never did gifts for any holiday, so.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I feel extremely unqualified.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
But this did make me giggle, especially when you left
that talk back about getting a kitchen appliance, which falls
within like the top three or four worst gifts you
can give someone. We're gonna start off with the number one,
a teddy bear. Nobody wants to receive a teddybear. You
were speaking of teddy bears.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
I'm triggered.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Do you remember that net that we used to have
in the corner of our millennial bedrooms with all the
teddy bears?

Speaker 4 (01:59):
And it?

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Okay? Cool, cool, cool, you say, you know, you pin
it to the wall and ceiling. Okay. Coming in at
number two.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Small home appliances not a great gift for Valentine's Day,
according to this, Coming in at number three, Board games
coming in at number four home to core items and
number five sports equipment. I know there's a guy listening
right now that's saying what gift should I give? Then,
Tiffany help me. I'm I'm sorry. I'm wicked unqualified to

(02:27):
give gift giving advice because I'm all about vibes in
a good time. So I'm hoping, hoping. What's gonna happen
right now? Five one, three seven four nine one oh
seven one? What is the worst Valentine's Day gift you've
ever gotten?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Guy and or girl? Or the best one you've ever gotten?

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Would also help out some of our Tiff in the
Morning listeners. Okay, so you can either talk back with
Tiff or call me in the meantime.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
We're commercial free. Hi, good morning.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
You're waking up with Tiff in the Morning on Kiss
one oh seven to one. I'm leaning into you this
morning on talking gift giving for Gallentine's Day today, Valentine's
Day tomorrow, things that you've loved, things that you thought
were silly and fun, or things that you've hated.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Maybe I'm not.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Qualified to give out gift giving advice because it's not
my love language.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
So I'm leaning into you.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
The worst Valentine's Day gift I ever got was when
I was in college and my boyfriend took all of
my old broken jewelry and purchased over the years and
had it repaired. He rewrapped it, gave it back to.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Me a thank you for the talk back with TIV.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
I know there's a guy listening right now that's like, no,
that's a good idea.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
You're waking up with TIF in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one, if you're just walking into the conversation.
I had admitted earlier that I'm not just I'm not
a good gift giver, not really qualified to give gift
giving advice. So for Valentine's Day, I'm leaning into you.
Good morning, you're on the air, let's talk gifts.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
Good morning, how are you today?

Speaker 1 (03:58):
I'm doing well, happy almost.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
For yes, definitely thank you. My husband one year got
me a raincoat and it was three sizes too small.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
A You're like, the thought was there, the effort was there,
but you missed the mark a little bit.

Speaker 6 (04:17):
Oh, just a little.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
I was upset, but I tried not to show it,
and I think so there's still snow on the ground.
I can't recall exactly, but yeah, it was freezing out.
I know that, and I'm like a raincoat.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
What's your name, by the way, what neighbor do you
call me from?

Speaker 5 (04:37):
My name is Darla and I live in Ellesmere, Kentucky.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Are you guys still married?

Speaker 6 (04:42):
Yeah, but maybe not for too much longer after thirty years.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Oh wow, Well, now I want to go in a
different direction with the conversation.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Thanks for being honest and transparent.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Are you both arriving to this conclusion or are you
arriving to this on your own? I am well, I
feel like that has happened a few times in my
you know, my friend group, where someone's kind of micro
divorcing someone or breaking up with them, and you know,
over time, over years, right, And it's not one big thing.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
It's a bunch of small things.

Speaker 6 (05:16):
Oh yeah, and they do add up. And I mean
I have forgiven a lot of things, but there's a
lot of things that just can't get over even though
I've forgiven them. And I don't know, we're going to
stay in the same house that we own for now,
and you know, just see what there's neither one really

(05:40):
has a place to go, so I told them in everything,
but I haven't fired yet.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Well, you've got a friend in me. You know, I'm
always here to listen and give you an ear. And
you know, with everything in life, regardless of the situation,
the only thing that heals is just time, time and
space and active participation in your own personal healing. But
there will be light again in the future. I promise
it always comes.

Speaker 6 (06:06):
It's a it's a big decision. I should have done this,
like I don't know twenty years ago, but I just
feel like I have no life. But anyway, I appreciate
all your nice thoughts and appreciate you extending your friendship
to me. It means a lot.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Well you gotta you got it, gal, and keep me updated. Okay,
you know my number to call me back.

Speaker 6 (06:31):
Okay, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
You're waking up with TIF in the morning on Kissuan
oh seven one. We're talking Gallentine's Day, which is today,
or Valentine's Day gifts, which is tomorrow. If you're just
walking into the show for the first time, first of all,
good morning. But second of all, I read off maybe
fifteen minutes ago. The worst gifts that you could give
someone I feel unqualified talking about gifts giving because it's

(06:56):
not really in my love language. However, if gifts are
in your love language, they say teddy bears, sports equipments,
home decoration, or home appliances are not the greatest gift.
I'm always gonna subscribe though, to effort.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Effort.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Effort is the Are you paying attention, are you listening?
And is there effort there? You could get me a
bouquet of donuts if there was effort there, I'd love it.
So I'm kind of leaning in to you on what
you think about gifts.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
This morning, my.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Husband of four months, who asked for divorce on February eighth,
bought me flowers. Definitely the worst gift.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Oh god, Gal, well, thank you for the talk back
with Tiff. February eighth was last week.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Are you all right? We've got a lot of like
heavy things this morning on the show.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
I'm so sorry. I'm thinking of you. You know you
got a friend in me. Okay, I said the same
thing to our last caller. Time and space heals everything.
An effort in your own personal healing. Those three things,
There'll be light at the end of the tunnel. My gal,
all right? I'm thinking of you. We get time for
one more.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Okay, I don't know about the worst gift given, but
the best gift I've ever been given, yees, was twenty.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Five year old cheddar cheese. You heard me correct, twenty
five years old.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
It was made when I was five, isn't that crazy?

Speaker 6 (08:19):
And it was so good.
