Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time, kiss what.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
An anthem depending on what your status is on this
Valentine's Day week, and hit him up style. Actually, it's
gonna lead us into our next conversation that you're either
gonna have insight on slash perspective or you'll benefit from
or you'll kind of just be like me who's operating
in the single solo world right now, and you can
just sit back and kick your feet up and maybe

(00:24):
just laugh at it all. Talk back with Tiff on
the iHeartRadio app. We use this feature quite a bit
on the show. It's just an alternative way to get
in touch with me and with Cincinnati. The microphone is
in the top right hand corner of the iHeartRadio app.
If you're newly dating someone in this case two months,
is Valentine's Day a thing or not?

Speaker 3 (00:46):
So I have more of like an advice question on
Valentine's Day.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
I've been seeing this kid for almost two.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Months, and we're not obviously, like officially dating, but just
like I've been seeing.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Each other regularly.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
I really like him.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
I think it's going very well.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
I didn't expect, obviously a gift or anything but I
was really hoping I.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
Was asked to dinner or something like that. But it's
it kind of okay that that didn't happen, or should
it have happened. Should I be sad?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
I don't know, girl, I'm literally just a girl like
that is girl World in a box. Oh my god.
I'm not sure if I'm the best person to give
advice on this, because I never really expect gifts from anyone.
But I think we're kind of all on the same
page that gifts are for people that you really have

(01:35):
invested your life in. Okay, so we're all hopefully on
that same page. I mean, I'm not gonna lie. If
I've known you for one day or one year and
you buy me a box of Aglea Mesa's chocolate on
Valentine's Day, I'm You're always going to be good in
my book, always. I might even leave the show and
go directly to agle Mesas, that's how much I love them.

(01:56):
I'm kind of walking through how it's going in my head.
You're dating someone that you like, you spend time with them,
you feel like there's a good energy and connection. I
could see why you're a little bit sad and you
might have expected to get asked out on Valentine's Day.
I feel like that's acceptable. Now. Everything in this world
is situation dependent, So that's the way my neurodivergent brain works.

(02:17):
You know, I'm trying to get to like eight years
of facts. I want to know more. I want to
know more about the times that you spend together, what
they were like, right, Like, that's where my brain goes.
But if we're sticking on the surface level, I think
if you've spent more than five nights together, whether they
were intimate or not, and you really enjoy each other's company,
I could see why you were disappointed that you weren't

(02:37):
asked out on Valentine's Day. I don't know if it's
necessarily a red flag though, but this is where we're
gonna have varying opinions and where I bet our talkbacker
could really use your insights. Cincinnati five one, three, seven,
four nine one oh seven one two months of dating,
you don't get asked out on Valentine's Day? Are you
running for the hills? Are you going to lean in

(03:01):
even harder and maybe ask them out? You can also
talk back with Tiff. In the meantime, we're commercial free. Hi,
good morning. You're waking up with Tiff in the morning
on Kiss one oh seven one. Valentine's Day. Man, it
shouldn't be this complicated, yet, somehow, some way, we always
find a way to complicate things, and such is life,
right se la Vi. So we're in the midst of

(03:21):
getting some advice. If you're just walking into this conversation.
Good timing on your part. A talk blacker asked me
whether or not you've been dating someone for like two months?
You feel somewhat connected to them. You're a little disappointed
because he didn't ask you out on Valentine's Day. Hi,
you're on the air. What's your thoughts? Hey, Hey, it's
been a minute. Happy Valentine's Day, Gal, Yeah, how Valentine's Day?

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Yes, Colin to answer the question, I'm good. I am
actually not sure if I'm single or not, so I
don't know what to do.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Well, the last time you and I checked, you had
just finalized your divorce sometime last year. So were you
dating somebody and you just broke up? Give me give
me a quick rundown.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah, so actually today it's the anniversary of my divorce.
On Valentine's Day.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Off Wyo. Serendipitous.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Yeah, so I'm throwing myself a party tonight.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
I love it because it's been a year.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
But yeah, I was dating somebody and now I'm single.
Then I went on a whole bunch of dates, and
now I'm not sure if I'm dating or not. I
might be courting, which is a step below dating.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Well, no one has a more illustorious dating life than you,
my friend, So are you?

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Then?

Speaker 2 (04:35):
What's your take as somebody that's kind of bopping around
and dating other people, which is fine recording them? Would
you have gotten someone? Actually?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
No?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Would you expect a gift from someone on this Valentine's Day?

Speaker 3 (04:46):
I feel like Valentine's Day. I don't know. It's it's
such a complex thing because it's not just like a
box of chocolates. It's like high school, like you know,
do you check the box of like do you like
to me?

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Yes or now?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
And there's like totally a wrong answer.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Here, Ollie, Thank you so much for the call. Oh
I think I'm learning something about my neurodivergent brain that
if something's complicated, I just can't I can't do it.
We shouldn't have complicated Valentine's Day. But somehow we have
all right, We're all on the same page that gifts
are kind of eh, So don't stress about gifts on
Valentine's Day. If you're newly dating someone, if you're in

(05:25):
a committed marriage or relationship, I don't know. I can't
speak for that. It depends on what your love language is.
My love language is time. I'm still I still get it.
I still understand that if you're dating someone for two
months and they haven't asked you out today, I could
see why you would feel a type of way. What
are your thoughts though, five one, three, seven, four nine,
one oh seven one. Guys, good morning. It would be

(05:48):
great to hear from you. Hi, good morning. Look at
that and my better judgment. I'm playing some songs that
align with Valentine's Day. You can always access good music
and commercial free music at this time every day when
you search kiss one oh seval one on the iHeartRadio app.
How are you hopefully off to a good start. You're
waking up with TIF in the morning on this Valentine's

(06:09):
Day Friday, and we're in the midst of getting some
advice from a talkbacker who had said Listen, I'm dating
a guy, let's say two months. He didn't ask me
off of Valentine's Day. I feel some type of way
about it, but I'm trying to talk myself through it,
and I could use a little bit of perspective. So
that's what we're in the midst of getting right now.
Good morning, you're on the air.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
So this muy be from a different point of view
as somebody who's in a same sex relationship. But we
don't do Valentine's Day on Valentine's Day.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Oh hey, it's too busy.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
Yeah, you can ever get a reservation anywhere, and b
it's too commercialized. So we pick a random day either
before or after it, and that's what we do our dinner.
And that's all we do, is we just go out
to dinner.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yeah, and you acknowledge it. I'm sure that seems like
so low maintenance and low key you and I would together.
I get that. I'm with you on that one. Yeah,
what's your name? By the way, with neighborhod you in Brandon,
Thanks so much for the call. Okay, we're getting a
little bit. We've got bits and pieces of perspective coming
in on the show. This morning, we got time for
at least one more talkback.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Hey, TIF, good morning. I would say if you're nearly
dating somebody, I would get them a gift definitely, but
don't spend too much. Just something simple, flowers in a car,
let them know you're thinking of them.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
That was causing Candy did Usher sing about that. I
don't know if we've helped her, but at least we've
gotten different voices and opinions on the show this morning
and from the guy world, which I always really appreciate that.
All right, so we'll put a pin in this from now.
Thank you for the talkback with TOI. If you two
are welcome to do the same. You'll see the microphone
right next to the play butt. And in fact, you
might want to contribute to our next thing. Imagine imagine

(07:51):
being married to someone. Imagine and you're waiting for them
on this Valentine's Day and you find out that they've
done this one thing. You can laugh about it now,
but in the moment you can't laugh about it. I'm
sure you might have a guess as to what happened.
It's nothing cheating, relating, which is good. We're gonna talk
about your funny Valentine's Day Moments next, don't go far.

(08:11):
Good Morning.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Also Happy Valentine's Day. TIF love the Morning Show as
always
