Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time, kiss what.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
An anthem depending on what your status is on this
Valentine's Day week, and hit him up style. Actually, it's
gonna lead us into our next conversation that you're either
gonna have insight on slash perspective or you'll benefit from
or you'll kind of just be like me who's operating
in the single solo world right now, and you can
just sit back and kick your feet up and maybe
(00:24):
just laugh at it all. Talk back with Tiff on
the iHeartRadio app. We use this feature quite a bit
on the show. It's just an alternative way to get
in touch.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
With me and with Cincinnati.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
The microphone is in the top right hand corner of
the iHeartRadio app. If you're newly dating someone in this
case two months, is Valentine's Day a thing or not?
Speaker 4 (00:46):
So I have more of like an advice question on
Valentine's Day.
Speaker 5 (00:51):
I've been seeing this kid for almost two.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
Months, and we're not obviously, like officially dating, but just
like I've been seeing.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
Each other regularly.
Speaker 6 (00:58):
I really like him.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
I think it's going very well.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
I didn't expect, obviously a gift or anything but I
was really hoping I.
Speaker 7 (01:06):
Was asked to dinner or something like that.
Speaker 5 (01:09):
But it's it kind of okay that.
Speaker 7 (01:11):
That didn't happen, or should it have happened.
Speaker 5 (01:13):
Should I be sad?
Speaker 2 (01:14):
I don't know, girl, I'm literally just a girl like
that is girl World in a box.
Speaker 7 (01:23):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
I'm not sure if I'm the best person to give
advice on this, because I never really expect gifts from anyone.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
But I think we're kind of all on the same page.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
That gifts are for people that you really have invested
your life in.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
Okay, so we're all hopefully.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
On that same page. I mean, I'm not gonna lie.
If I've known you for one day or one year
and you buy me a box of Aglea Mesa's chocolate
on Valentine's Day, I'm You're.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Always going to be good in my book, always.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
I might even leave the show and go directly to
agle Mesas, that's how much I love them. I'm kind
of walking through how it's going in my head. You're
dating someone that you like, you spend time with them,
you feel like there's a good energy and connection. I
could see why you're a little bit sad and you
might have expected to get asked out on Valentine's Day.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
I feel like that's acceptable. Now.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Everything in this world is situation dependent, So that's the
way my neurodivergent brain works. You know, I'm trying to
get to like eight years of facts. I want to
know more. I want to know more about the times
that you spend together, what they were like, right, Like,
that's where my brain goes. But if we're sticking on
the surface level, I think if you've spent more than
five nights together, whether they were intimate or not, and
(02:33):
you really enjoy each other's company, I could see why
you were disappointed that you weren't asked out on Valentine's Day.
I don't know if it's necessarily a red flag though,
but this is where we're gonna have varying opinions and
where I bet our talkbacker could really use your insights.
Cincinnati five one, three, seven, four nine one oh seven
one two months of dating, you don't get asked out
(02:55):
on Valentine's Day? Are you running for the hills? Are
you going to lean in even harder and maybe ask
them out? You can also talk back with Tiff. In
the meantime, we're commercial free. Hi, good morning. You're waking
up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss one oh
seven one.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Valentine's Day.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Man, it shouldn't be this complicated, yet, somehow, some way,
we always find a way to complicate things, and such
is life, right se la Vi. So we're in the
midst of getting some advice. If you're just walking into
this conversation. Good timing on your part. A talk blacker
asked me whether or not you've been dating someone for
like two months?
Speaker 3 (03:30):
You feel somewhat connected to them.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
You're a little disappointed because he didn't ask you out
on Valentine's Day.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Hi, you're on the air. What's your thoughts? Hey, Hey,
it's been a minute.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Happy Valentine's Day, Gal, Yeah, how Valentine's Day?
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Yes, Colin to answer the question, I'm good. I am
actually not sure if I'm single or not, so I
don't know what to do.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Well, the last time you and I checked, you had
just finalized your divorce sometime last year. So were you
dating somebody and you just broke up? Give me give
me a quick rundown.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah, so actually today it's the anniversary of my divorce.
On Valentine's Day.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Off Wyo.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Serendipitous.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
Yeah, so I'm throwing myself a party tonight.
Speaker 5 (04:13):
I love it because it's been a year.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
But yeah, I was dating somebody and now I'm single.
Then I went on a whole bunch of dates, and
now I'm not sure if I'm dating or not. I
might be courting, which is a step below dating.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
I'm sure.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
Well, no one has a more illustorious dating life than you,
my friend, So are you?
Speaker 6 (04:34):
Then?
Speaker 2 (04:35):
What's your take as somebody that's kind of bopping around
and dating other people, which is fine recording them?
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Would you have gotten someone? Actually?
Speaker 8 (04:42):
No?
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Would you expect a gift from someone on this Valentine's Day?
Speaker 4 (04:46):
I feel like Valentine's Day.
Speaker 6 (04:50):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
It's it's such a complex thing because it's not just
like a box of chocolates. It's like high school, like
you know, do you check the box of like do
you like to me?
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Yes or now?
Speaker 4 (05:01):
And there's like totally a wrong answer.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Here, Ollie, Thank you so much for the call.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Oh I think I'm learning something about my neurodivergent brain
that if something's complicated, I just can't I can't do it.
We shouldn't have complicated Valentine's Day. But somehow we have
all right, We're all on the same page that gifts
are kind of eh, So don't stress about gifts on
Valentine's Day. If you're newly dating someone, if you're in
a committed marriage or relationship, I don't know. I can't
(05:27):
speak for that. It depends on what your love language is.
My love language is time. I'm still I still get it.
I still understand that if you're dating someone for two
months and they haven't asked you out today, I could
see why you.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Would feel a type of way.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
What are your thoughts though, five one, three, seven, four nine,
one oh seven one.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Guys, good morning. It would be great to hear from you. Hi,
good morning. Look at that and my better judgment.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
I'm playing some songs that align with Valentine's Day. You
can always access good music and commercial free music at
this time every day when you search kiss one oh
seval one on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
How are you hopefully off to a good start.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
You're waking up with TIF in the morning on this
Valentine's Day Friday, and we're in the midst of getting
some advice from a talkbacker who had said Listen, I'm
dating a guy, let's say two months. He didn't ask
me off of Valentine's Day. I feel some type of
way about it, but I'm trying to talk myself through it,
and I could use a little bit of perspective.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
So that's what we're in the midst of getting right now.
Good morning, you're on the air.
Speaker 5 (06:29):
So this muy be from a different point of view
as somebody who's in a same sex relationship. But we
don't do Valentine's Day on Valentine's Day.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
Oh hey, it's too busy.
Speaker 5 (06:42):
Yeah, you can ever get a reservation anywhere, and b
it's too commercialized. So we pick a random day either
before or after it, and that's what we do our dinner.
And that's all we do, is we just go out
to dinner.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Yeah, and you acknowledge it.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
I'm sure that seems like so low maintenance and low
key you and I would together.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
I get that. I'm with you on that one. Yeah,
what's your name?
Speaker 2 (07:05):
By the way, with neighborhod you in Brandon, Thanks so
much for the call. Okay, we're getting a little bit.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
We've got bits and.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Pieces of perspective coming in on the show. This morning,
we got time for at least one more talkback.
Speaker 9 (07:17):
Hey, TIF, good morning. I would say if you're nearly
dating somebody, I would get them a gift definitely, but
don't spend too much. Just something simple, flowers in a car,
let them know you're thinking of them.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
That was causing Candy did Usher sing about that.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
I don't know if we've helped her, but at least
we've gotten different voices and opinions on the show this
morning and from the guy world, which I always really
appreciate that. All right, so we'll put a pin in
this from now. Thank you for the talkback with TOI.
If you two are welcome to do the same. You'll
see the microphone right next to the play butt. And
in fact, you might want to contribute to our next thing.
Imagine imagine being married to someone. Imagine and you're waiting
(07:54):
for them on this Valentine's Day and you find out
that they've done this one thing. You can laugh about
it now, but in the moment you can't laugh about it.
I'm sure you might have a guess as to what happened.
It's nothing cheating, relating, which is good. We're gonna talk
about your funny Valentine's Day moments next, don't go far.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Good Morning.
Speaker 9 (08:13):
Also, Happy Valentine's Day. TIF love the Morning Show. As always,
you're waking up with Fifth in.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
The morning time.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
I'm playing Valentine's Day related songs on the show today.
I've got S and M by Rihanna, So depending on
what your vibe is, and I think we might be
in the same boat, same phase of life if you
are looking forward to S and M by Rihanna coming
up in just a.
Speaker 6 (08:35):
Minute or two.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
My favorite quality is a sense of humor.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
I love it. I love it.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
So we're gonna share your silly, funny moments, whether they
just happened or they happened years ago from Valentine's Day past,
Things that maybe weren't funny in the moment, you can
laugh about them now.
Speaker 8 (08:51):
So my husband totally forgot it was Valentine's Day and
when out with the guys after work for a few beers,
and they were like, what'd you get, Donna, And he said, oh, shoot,
he stopped at the mall and got me pearls, which
was the best gift he'd ever given me on Valentine's Day.
Speaker 7 (09:04):
So I highly recommended he did that. Every year.
Speaker 8 (09:07):
And I also did give birth on Valentine's Day as well,
thirty plus hours of labor to be born at twelve
oh four am. But it was worth it.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Oh well, First of all, thank you for the talk
back with Tiff when you search kiss on the iHeartRadio app. Also,
happy birthday to anyone celebrating Valentine's Day. My best friend
had a baby on Valentine's Day. He is one years
old today. And then my nephew was born on Valentine's Day,
So shout out to Hunter and Callen.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
So I am giggling. I love it.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Oh man, whoopsis went up for a couple of drinks
after work, totally forgetting it was Valentine's Day.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
You ended up benefiting.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Though, because nothing says I love you like getting buzzed
going into the Kenwood Mall and getting a set of pearls.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Glynn, you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
It's three days.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
So where in Cincinnati can you make twenty bucks an
hour chilling out in the sun. I'll have that for
you know. Second, first, we're just before eight o'clock. At
eight thirty, I have your chance to win kids Bop tickets.
Maybe I'm sending you to your first concert, so don't
go far, all right.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
King's Island.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
Is having their jobs fair and hiring fair this coming Saturday,
so I guess that would be tomorrow from nine to one.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
If you go up to Kings Island.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
They've got varying positions that they're going to hire for
on the spot. So if you know someone looking for
a summer job, pay starts anywhere from fourteen dollars an
hour and stretches up to the mid twenties, depending on
what position you have. My best friend used to work
at King's Island growing up, and that woman's forty and
she still talks about her job there like she loved it.
(10:48):
And I'm the same way when it comes to my
lifeguard job. I loved that so much all the way
through college. So if this is sounds interesting to you,
set a little reminder with Siri tomorrow nine o'clock. Okay,
all right, Second, and three things you need to know.
We must dive into new music Friday. In our last hour,
I covered Sabrina Carpenter's Deluxe album. In this hour, we're
(11:09):
gonna cover Drake some sexy songs for You is out
with Party next Storm Drake is back with some love music.
Here's a clip of someone. This is called Somebody Loves
Me Here.
Speaker 10 (11:21):
They don't pay well.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
The follow in love, I need to start with something
as you find out, oh yeah.
Speaker 6 (11:40):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
If you were expecting a radio banger out of Drake,
especially coming off the Super Bowl, you probably will not
find that on this album. However, to be transparent, I'm
still digesting it as well, but that is something to
put on over the next couple of days as you
celebrate Valentine's dem uh. And then finally in Three Things
You Need to Know, Selena Gomes also teasing some new music.
(12:06):
Let me play the clip and then I'll kind of
walk you through it. This is called Scared of Loving You.
Speaker 11 (12:10):
I'm not scared of loving you.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
I'm just scared.
Speaker 7 (12:16):
I'm not scared of anyone.
Speaker 4 (12:20):
Dy a fund somebody.
Speaker 7 (12:26):
Because could they love him as moncous ans too.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
That's called Scared of Loving You. First single actually is
out now right, so that's the first taste of it.
The album is called I Said I Love You First,
which comes out on March twenty first, and it's produced
by her fiance Benny Blanco, who's in charge and responsible
for many, many, many hits, including east Side with Halsey
(12:56):
and Khalid.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
By the way, Halsey announced a tour not coming to
CINCI though.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
That is Three things you need to know for the
fourteenth of February coming up next.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
What was your first concert? Can you remember? Talk back
with Tiff on the iHeartRadio.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
Appuse you're waking up fifth in the morning.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Okay, I think you're gonna love this. You'll need the
keyword songs or music. I'll take either one. When if
you want the four pack of tickets to Kids Bop,
I'd love to send you and your family to your
first concert maybe ever. Right, That's what I've been getting
all week long. Okay, So, and I'm gonna give you
time to get an answer for this as well. I
want your top breakup song, your top I'm in love song,
(13:39):
and your top I'm single song. And this is gonna
be very person dependent. Good morning, Sarah, Good morning.
Speaker 11 (13:46):
Happy Valentine's Daynesday, I love you, I love you too,
And Happy Valentine's Day.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Yesterdays.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
We didn't get a chance of chat on the air.
Speaker 11 (13:53):
I didn't.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Yes, let's start off with your top breakup song. Here
we go, a message to the Smallest Man who Ever Lived?
Speaker 4 (14:05):
By someone.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
Did you sleep with your gun?
Speaker 11 (14:20):
Sleeper says you don't feel pain listening to that song,
then you just don't.
Speaker 7 (14:27):
Have a heart at all.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
It's again person dependent. It really is, though, And that,
by the way, was Smallest Man who Ever Lived? By
Taylor Swift. Okay, here's Sarah's top I'm in love song.
What's the title of this one? This is Tangled Up
in You by Stained Okay.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
Here you go.
Speaker 11 (14:44):
You'rest tangled up.
Speaker 7 (14:53):
I'll explain you tangled up.
Speaker 11 (14:55):
And this is the song that my husband and I
did dance to for our first dance at our weddings.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
So sweet.
Speaker 7 (15:03):
This is like our official love song.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Okay, will you listen to that with him tonight?
Speaker 7 (15:08):
Yeah, we listened to it last night.
Speaker 11 (15:09):
Actually, we did a little slow dancing in our kitchen, Sarah,
I know, like in pajamas and face masks and everything.
Speaker 7 (15:15):
He loves me through it all.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
All right, Here we go Sarah's top I'm Single song.
And who doesn't love this one?
Speaker 6 (15:24):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (15:24):
Yeah, it's.
Speaker 6 (15:34):
By No.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
There is something about this one, isn't.
Speaker 7 (15:40):
It so good?
Speaker 3 (15:41):
It's so so, so so good.
Speaker 11 (15:43):
I just think of all the ladies getting on the dresses,
walking out of the hotel, getting ready to.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Party, and then this comes on and you're just like,
here we got.
Speaker 7 (15:57):
At my bachelor party. This was those songs.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Okay, here we go.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
If you're just walking into this, you'll need the keyword
songs or music to win the four pack of tickets
to kids Bop here in a few minutes. But we're
in the midst of coming up with our top uh
breakup song, top in love song, and top I'm single song.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Here is my number one breakup don't.
Speaker 7 (16:22):
Show, Oh, don't come now?
Speaker 11 (16:25):
Okay, don't talk Carris, don't now walking you know how?
Speaker 3 (16:33):
Don't talk Carrit.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
A little bit of Zuilipa. That was one of the
number one songs of like twenty twenty. They use it
for a lot of COVID references. Yeah, remember correctly, I do. Okay,
here's my number one in love song. This is Queen
best Friends, when you so good?
Speaker 6 (16:58):
Right?
Speaker 7 (17:00):
I want to know everybody's songs. Knows so cute?
Speaker 3 (17:12):
Isn't that sweet?
Speaker 11 (17:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (17:13):
I kind of want to like dance with my dog
to that one.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
Okay, well that's also considered love Okay.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
And then the moment we've been waiting for TIFF's top
I'm single song right now that describes me the most.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
Exact.
Speaker 6 (17:31):
Ready you trap me, you.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
Can tell what kind of mood I'm.
Speaker 5 (17:41):
In, girl.
Speaker 7 (17:44):
I hope there is a lot of grinding in your
weekend ahead.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
You're waking up with Stiff in the morning on seven one.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
Hi, good morning. I'm really hoping you have a keyword
for me hot music.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
Congratulations you are calling and you got the keyword. You're
going to kids, Boy, sounds like you got a whole
crew of people behind you. I do.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
I have all the kids in the car.
Speaker 9 (18:11):
They're very excited.
Speaker 6 (18:13):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Well I'm sending you and your family to maybe your
first concert ever.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
Oh, we are so excited.
Speaker 5 (18:18):
We missed them last summer, so we were very excited
to go this summer.
Speaker 6 (18:22):
Look at that.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
Well, what's your name and what neighborhood are you driving around?
And right now, my name is Dath and I'm from Florence, Lawrence. Well,
thank you for waking up the whole family with's Tiff
in the morning.
Speaker 9 (18:34):
You're welcome, and today is my son's birthday, so he's
really excited.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Yea Valentine's Day, Baby, you're the third fourth person I
know with the Valentine's Day baby, what's what's the name?
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Bentley Bentleame.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Happy birthday to you, my friend, and thank you for listening.
All Right, we're commercial free in the meantime, we're not
far off from the three things you need to know
to get your day started. And since he in fact,
not very often does one subject take up all three things,
but we might just be heading in that direction on
this Friday.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
What could it be? Get to it next when you
need to know she's got you.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
It's three things with tip on when I was seven, my.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
Fingers are covered in sugar. Give me a second.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
We're just before nine o'clock, right around nine oh five,
first chance of the weekend to win a thousand bucks,
especially if it was your off pay week. I got
you happy cherry fingling day. Right, it was a little
bit yesterday today someone from my office brought some in
and so it's just having one, all right? What to Drake,
Sabrina Carpenter and Selena Gomez, Jack Harlow, I could even
(19:40):
throw in there all have in common today It is
New Music Friday and they all have new music out
and so very rarely does one subject kind of take
up all three things, but I think it's important to
start to cover it.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
First.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Let's start off with Sabrina Carpenter announcing the deluxe album
Excuse Me, I have a short and sweet two days
after winning her Grammy Awards, and she just put out
four new tracks which I'll get to, and one remix
to Please Please Please with Dolly Parton.
Speaker 6 (20:07):
Please Please Please, don't please don't bring me just my
Mask as you don't like the.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
Dolly Parton's seventy nine years old. I don't even want
to think about a world in which we live in
where Dolly Parton isn't around anymore.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Whether you like that.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Version or the original, I think it's just cool that
Sabrina got her to hop on the song. There's also
one called Busy Woman. I'll play a quick clip, but
that that's called Busy Woman again, one of the few
(21:10):
new ones on the deluxe album.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
All right.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
Second, in three things you need to know this morning
is still music related, Let's.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
Talk about Jack Harlow.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
This is called Set You Free, and it actually came
out yesterday, but I'm falling in love with it quickly.
Speaker 11 (21:25):
I believe, I believe for you.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
I'm on tenth fifteen for You. I love you, but
I love my freedom too. I know what I must do,
but I'm really just scared to leave you.
Speaker 7 (21:34):
But I know I need to.
Speaker 5 (21:36):
I know I need to, I know I need so
I need.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
To section free. Jack Carlow's Got the Genes Aqua.
Speaker 7 (21:44):
Oh man.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
That's a second single or second or maybe third single.
The last one was sorry Miss Johnson. I bet he's
got a new project coming out that I just don't
have a date for you on. And then, lastly, in
three things still music related, Drake put out a b
new album called Some Sexy Songs for You, and this
is one with Party next Door. It's called Somebody Loves Me.
(22:07):
Here's a clipse they don't pay well.
Speaker 7 (22:09):
The follow in love I Need to Start or something lining.
How must you find out?
Speaker 4 (22:16):
Oh yeah, dig.
Speaker 6 (22:23):
Billy, Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
If you were expecting bangers to come out of Drake,
especially post super Bowl, that's not what this album is about.
But to be fair, I'm still digesting it myself because
it just came out last night. Again, it's called Some
Sexy Songs for You. All right? That is three things
you need to know for Valentine's Day. Hey, dinner's expensive. Man,
whether you're taking yourself out for Valentine's Day or someone
(22:51):
else or your gals, I have your chance to win
a grand coming up at nine oh five.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Don't go far.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
You're waking up in the morning.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
I kiss one seven one. I'm gonna let you take
a lot of the lead here.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
But good morning. If I were to be going away
on a trip this weekend with a guy friend of
mine on Valentine's Day weekend, is this a romantic trip?
Speaker 7 (23:20):
Are you asking me? Or is this like rhetorical?
Speaker 3 (23:22):
I don't know. I don't know how to play this.
I don't even really know how to bring it up.
Speaker 11 (23:27):
Because when you told me at the beginning of this week,
you said I'm going on a trip this weekend, I said, oh,
for Valentine's Day weekend, and you said no, for President's Day,
for President's Day week And because nothing says romance like
the President, and I knew right away that you and
(23:53):
I were looking at this trip with two different sets
of eyes.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
I'm Sarah, no, I really do say that.
Speaker 6 (24:00):
I said, like I.
Speaker 7 (24:02):
Forgot about the presidents on Monday. I was like, wait,
I know we're off, but why longer romance.
Speaker 6 (24:08):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
No, you're right, and that just goes to show how very,
very very different you and I are and how we
were like we're the greatest friends, but we view the
world so differently. Okay, I have to catch you guys
up to speed. My I'm gonna just call it my
best friend. My best friend and I are going on
not a trip where all of his work friends are
(24:32):
gonna be This is already making me sound bad.
Speaker 7 (24:34):
We're sound romantic. Has nothing to do with the presidents.
But go ahead.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
I'm sick.
Speaker 7 (24:42):
It's probably because you licked the gym floor yesterday. I
can't with you.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Okay, I'm going. I'm just uncomfortable and embarrassed.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
I'm going to PBR this weekend in Indianapolis, which is
professional bull riding.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
Never been I've never been.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
My best friend was like, listen, I really really really
want you to go on this trip with me to
Indy on Saturday night.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
My coworkers really want you to come. We're all going, oh.
Speaker 7 (25:11):
Wait, he's told you about his like, he's told his
coworkers about you.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
Yeah, and I've told him him a do you yeah?
Speaker 6 (25:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (25:19):
So we're on this. Here we go we're also sharing
a hotel room.
Speaker 7 (25:26):
The presidents don't do that. They get their own hotel rooms.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
So we're going on this trip to Indie Saturday night,
we're going to this professional bull running event with all
of his coworkers and their wives, and we're staying in
the same hotel room.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
To me, I didn't even question it. It sounded totally
like I didn't.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
I was like, I'm one hundred percent down, one hundred
percent down immediately, yes, And I didn't even consider the
fact that this could end up being like something romantic.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
I was just like, Yeah, we're gonna go with it.
Sounds like a great time.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
I didn't start feeling nervous and uncomfortable about this until
you told me that this is a romantic thing.
Speaker 11 (26:08):
And because you guys are driving to Endy together, you're
sharing a room, you're going out with co workers and
their wives, going out drinking, doing the BBR whatever thing,
driving back together like there is no separation. You will
be getting ready for a night out in the same
(26:29):
room together. That is so marriage and getting unready.
Speaker 7 (26:32):
Oh my god, the unready thing. So okay, I always
sleeping my makeup. I can't.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
I have two questions if this is if this was
happening on any other weekend, would you like, would it
play differently for you?
Speaker 3 (26:45):
Or because it's Valentine's Day you think it's romantic.
Speaker 11 (26:47):
It's just like the cherry on top being Valentine's Day weekend.
But also this sounds like a romantic kind of like
little tri state getaway, a little home away from home thing.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
I could see how you would think that. But me
on this side of the microphone, that's my bestie. We're
gonna have a like I know we're gonna have a
really good time. I love being around him. I want
him around me whenever wherever I go, Like we always
just have such a great time together. I didn't think
about it romantically whatsoever. But now I'm overthinking it, and
I'm wondering.
Speaker 7 (27:17):
Is it my fault?
Speaker 1 (27:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
I thought I was going for President's Weekend five one
three seven nine one seven one. Can I go on
this trip and be friends and be cool and be
normal and not overthink it? Or do I need to
like shave my legs before we go.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time kiss
one U seven to one?
Speaker 2 (27:42):
Okay, Well, I forgot to turn my microphone on good morning,
Good morning, good morning. I'm running the ship by myself.
Per usual, we're doing the daily debrief. You choose one
big thing or I'd rather choose one big thing out
of the four hours of conversation. We revisit it, giving
you a chance to get involved and caught up on
what was the biggest thing we did on the show today?
So many things happened, but the one that made me giggle,
(28:02):
since I love a good sense of humor, is funny
things that have happened to you on Valentine's Day weekend.
For instance, the one that we got into at seven
o'clock was the fact that this girl's husband forgot it
was V Day. Went out for a couple of beers
with the guys after work and they had asked him, Hey,
what are you going to get Debbie for Valentine's Day?
Speaker 3 (28:22):
And he's like, oh, shoot, what am I going to get?
Speaker 2 (28:25):
Ends up going over to the Kenwood Mall after a
drink or so and finding like this really expensive, beautiful
piece of jewelry. So they laughed about it because he forgot,
but she benefited because you know, he knew he needed
to get something. So what are some of the funny,
silly things that you laugh at when you look back at,
you know, Valentine's Day pass, or maybe even something that's
happened to you very recently. We're going to get to
(28:46):
some of our talkbacks that we didn't get to in
the moment.
Speaker 10 (28:50):
Hey, TI, Happy Valentine's Day. So my husband makes homemade
chocolate covered strawberries every Valentine's morning, and one morning I
walked out to see this rawberries with chocolate, and also
one of the dogs had pooped little lumps that looked similar,
So I posted a picture of both. Happy Valentine's Day.
Speaker 6 (29:10):
Well you too, my.
Speaker 3 (29:10):
Gal, I thank you for the talk back with tip.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
You can always contribute to my show on multiple fronts,
whether it's social media, phone lines, or the iHeart Radio app,
which is what she chose to do there. The microphone's
in the top right hand corner. I love a good
sense of humor. Nothing sexier to me than someone with
a good sense of humor. Hey, listen, we did a
lot today. So if at any point you're going to
try to enjoy some of the sunshine. I know it's
cold outside, but maybe you're trying to get some exercise
(29:35):
or something. Catch up on the podcast search tif Tiff
in the morning on the iHeart Radio app at your leisure.
All right, Happy Friday and happy Valentine's Day. Shout out
to everyone who's single as well. You're waiting up with
Tip in the morning, Done, kiss one, Hi, Good morning.
Today just feels like another day to me, another Friday.
(29:57):
But and so I want to address if that I
I mean, clearly it's Friday, because my brain in my
mouth are not matching up. If you're single like myself
on this Friday into Valentine's Day, I hope you have
yourself a good day. I'm at a point where I'm
loving life, I'm living it, and uh, I'm gonna probably
take myself out to the movies tonight just because I
(30:19):
love going to movies, and so I'll do that. However,
I was getting ready to text some of my girlfriends
seeing what they were up to, and I was like, oh, yeah,
you're in a relationship. There's a chance that you're going
to be doing something with their significant other tonight.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
I forgot about that.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
But I also want to address the other side that
you know, I wasn't always in such a great place.
I remember coming fresh off my breakup a couple of
years ago, and holidays like this were always like a
reminder of how hard breakups are and how sad I
was at the moment.
Speaker 3 (30:48):
And so I want to make sure that you know
you got a friend in me.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Okay, if you and I are not connected yet, I'm
at the tiff two f's potter like the Wizard.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
I hope you have a great weekend. Win Sure is most.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
Certainly going to be wintering out there, so if you
want to book a trip to get out of here,
if you can trade me out a few minutes, I'll
have your chance to win a thousand bucks.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
Coming up at ten oh five. Good morning,
