Speaker 1 (00:01):
Lynn.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
You need to know she's got you. It's three things
with tif On.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
When I was seven on that Oscars was the sleepiest
thing I've ever seen. Oh, of course, we'll get to
that in a second. We're just before seven o'clock on
this Monday, March third. Still very much feeling like winter
out there, that's for sure. But we'll see a break
at some point this week in the sixties, all right.
The quick rundown of the Oscars last night, if he
didn't stay awake for it, I did not like it,
but Anora picked up the most, with five wins in total,
(00:28):
including Best Picture.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Best Actor went to Adrian Brody.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Best Actress went to Mikey Madison, a Supporting Actor went
to Kiaren Culkin, and Best Supporting Actress went to Zoe Saldana.
I would say the highlight of the night was the
Defying Gravity performance which opened up the show between Ari
and Cynthia Orribo.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
Us No Wizard that there is.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
Very strong performance.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
We're gonna leave the Oscars there for now because I'm
gonna do the full rundown around seven to ten this
morning and chit chat roulette. I'll have the red carpet
moments the hosting moments and some of the performances, but
those are the big key moments of the night you're.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Gonna need to know.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Second, in three Things, FC Cincy ended up taking the
L and regular MLS play against Philadelphia. They're back at
home this week with regular MLS play. And then, lastly
in three Things you need to Know, it's a fairly
funny SNL performance this weekend with Shane Gillis as the
host and Tate McCrae as the musical Guestadies and gentlemen.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Tate McCray.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
And you know she just had her album come out,
not this past Friday, but the one before that. Speaking
of SNL, BO and Yang in New York on Saturday
for Saturday Night Live, hopped a flight and then made
it over to LA for the Oscars twelve or so
hours later. I'm gonna have well, how do you think
(02:18):
he did that? He attributed to one thing and it's
actually something you probably drink every single day.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
I'll get to that.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
It's not iced coffee coming up round seven ten. The
best way to keep listening to Tiff in the morning
is by searching kiss one O seven one on the
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
It is Monday, March third. Good morning, Good morning, you're
waking up with Tiff in the morning.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
I kiss one O seven one on a post Oscars Monday,
we're commercial free for the rest of the hour. There
might be a chance that you dozed off during the performances, etc.
And some of the awards and speeches last night, so
of course we'll get to that here in a minute
or so. But I'm checking some of your talkbacks this morning,
just in case you wanted to weigh in.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
What she thought of the looks for the Oscars last night.
My favorite were Selena Gomez. She was just flawless head
to toe. I thought she just nailed it.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah, you know what.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Agreed on Selena. I also thought Ariana Grande looked beautiful,
and a few others depending on which carpet you were watching,
whether it was for the Oscars or for the Vanity
Fair after party, because I'm seeing some really good looks
from there as well. Talk back with Tip on that
same iHeart Radio app. When you see the microphone in
the top right hand corner. The microphone's right next to
the play button. You two can leave me voice notes
(03:30):
on this Monday and what you thoughts your thoughts were.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Give me three or so minutes.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
I thought this was the worst OSCARS that I have
seen in a while.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
I'll explain why I don't go far.
Speaker 6 (03:44):
You're waking up.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
I can't believe I stayed awake for this Oscars last night.
Good morning, Sarah Elise in on our Monday morning usual
chit chat roulette where we set the timer, we get
things ready to go, and we'll get right into it.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
My boss said that we talked too much, so we
have to have this timer. Oh five minutes, okay on
the clock.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Go okay, Yeah, Let's start in order of which they happened,
Oscar's Carpet moments.
Speaker 7 (04:11):
Yes, did you have a favorite moment from the Red Carpet?
Speaker 3 (04:15):
I thought the show started at eight, and in fact
started at seven, so I missed the carpet. But the
one I kept seeing a bunch was the Adrian Brody
and halle Berry kiss, which was everywhere. And I didn't
know that this was like a remake of some kiss
that they did years ago, so it looked odd to me.
Speaker 7 (04:29):
You know what, I didn't see a whole lot of
the Red Carpet stuff. I was doing a little bit
of work yesterday, but I was definitely tuned in right
at seven o'clock to see that ten minute performance by
Cynthia Arrivo and Ariana Grande, which it was flawless by far.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
The best moment of the night was this one right here, No.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
Wizard there is O.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
You just hear how strong Cynthia Arrivo's voice is.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
It's just so natural.
Speaker 7 (05:16):
It was, Oh my god, it brought me to tears.
I was texting with our buddy Bobby in promotions and
we both said the same thing at the exact same time,
bawling because I feel like most of America was doing
just that watching these two. And I loved Arianna just
kind of staring at her in complete awe and support.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
It was the most beautiful moment of the night.
Speaker 7 (05:36):
It was between that and the other highlight seeing Adam
Sandler in the audience with his Jim Shortz before.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
We get to the hosting moments. That was funny. The
red dress was the sparkly red dress she wore was
an ode to the ruby slippers.
Speaker 7 (05:49):
Yes, and it was gorgeous and it was something that
nobody was expecting, especially for Arianna to open up and
sing somewhere over the Rainbow.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
It was just beautiful.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
Where we should have stopped watching the Oscars was immediately
after that performance, because the rest of it was the
like not great three.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
And a half hours of my life I'll never get
ever get back.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
It could have been an talked way way, way, way
too much, like they need this timer, the one that
we have every time we do Chit Chat roulette. Conan
O'Brien fine, I mean, he's a professional, good at what
he did, but it was just so long and drawn out,
so unnecessary.
Speaker 7 (06:24):
Well, they tried to get the speeches to wrap up,
but Adrian Brody, oh my god.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
I have Yeah, it's not you.
Speaker 8 (06:34):
No, it's not you.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
It's him. You caused this. But I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
Adam Sandler's showing up in Jim shorts is something you'll
see on social media, and I thought that was.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
A funny skit.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
You know, had gone up to Timothy Shallomey and did
the whole show.
Speaker 7 (06:48):
Oh it's good, Yeah, shall Am I snubbed by the way.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
We'll get to that in one second.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
The last Conan moment that I think you'll see as
the Kendrick Lamar comment we're.
Speaker 9 (06:58):
Halfway through the show, which we it's time for Kendrick
Lamar to come out and call Drake a pedophile.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
I think the writers bet him like twenty bucks or
so that he wouldn't come out and say that joke,
but he did.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
I was not expecting that from Conan. I looked at
my husband and I said, oh, Burn, all right, let's
talk awards. That happens every year.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
The award shows are a stark reminder that my tastes
are just completely different than the people that choose these awards.
Speaker 7 (07:29):
I never want to hear the name Amelia Perez or
or Anora any of this.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
I'm annoy I'm annoyed at the annoying guys.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Ariana's biggest fan and supporter. Her not getting Best.
Speaker 7 (07:43):
Supporting Actress is absolutely insane to me.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
Are you drawing any correlation between the fact that Barbie
didn't really win a lot of movies last year, but
did so well in the box office and financially and
just changed culture for that year. It's got same thing
with Wicked this year at money and the box office,
changed culture and then really didn't pick up anything of value.
Speaker 7 (08:05):
Literally, yeah, I think they got best Costume and.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
No wonder Cynthia Arrino. They painted her grain it took
them six.
Speaker 7 (08:13):
Hours, and best Production Designed. Those are the two for Wicked.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
All right, we got to move on to at least
one more speech that I think will get a lot
of attention. Is Kiaren Colkan picking up Best Supporting Actor.
I love this One year ago on.
Speaker 10 (08:25):
The stage like this, and I very stupidly publicly said
that I want a third kid from her because she
said if I won the award, I would she would
give me the kid.
Speaker 8 (08:32):
Uh.
Speaker 10 (08:33):
It turns out she said that because she didn't think
I was gonna win. But people came up to her
and were like, you know, uh, really annoying her.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
I think I think it got to her.
Speaker 10 (08:43):
But anyway, after the show, we're walking through a parking lot,
she's holding the Emmy. We're trying to find her car. Emily,
you were there, so your witness, And she goes, oh god,
I did say that. I guess I owe you a
third kid. And I turned to her and I said, really,
I want four, and she turned me. I swear to
god this happened. It was just over a year ago.
She said, I will give you four when you win
an Oscar zero.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
He love it.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
That was probably the sweetest speech moment. Zoe's Eldon and
did a good job as well, but Timothy didn't win.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Kylie Jenner was there.
Speaker 7 (09:13):
I know, and Timothy even showed up in the all
bright yellow. I'm like, there's your best actor right there.
I just watched a complete unknown on Friday and like, oh,
for sure he's gonna get that for his portrayal of
Bob Dylan.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
No, nope, all right, thank you, Sarah, I appreciate you.
In the meantime, we're still commercial commercial free. If you
ended up staying up through the entire night for that,
godspeed on your workday.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
You're waking up with tif in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one commercial free for the rest of
the hour. I'm sure much needed on a Monday with
it being a little on the chili side out there.
So if you didn't get a chance to watch the
Oscars Red Carpet last night, I thought, this is one
of my favorite moments with Bow and Yang. If you
didn't know this, he did Saturday Night Live with Tate
(09:56):
McCray and Shane Gillis and then made it to the
Oscars on the other side of the country.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
By the very next day.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
And you know what, he did it by using one
common thing that you and I might see day to day.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Tell me, how did you get here today?
Speaker 9 (10:09):
Because you were on SNL last night?
Speaker 8 (10:11):
So did you take the Disney Oscar jet? I did
not take the Disney Oscar Jet. I was a man
of the people. I want to keep my carbon footprint low,
and so I just took the six am out of
JFK and here I am retired. No, okay'd you sleep
on the fl left on the flight? And Celsius is
(10:31):
one of our great scientific conventions.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
Oh chumping Celsius.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
I'm sure we could all use a little caffeine at
this point in the morning. In the meantime, we're still
commercial free. Coming up around seven fifty. I'll dive into
the three things you need to know to get your
day started.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Incense you so don't go far. You're waking up in
the morning. Kiss good morning.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Every Sunday you get that notification on your iPhone. I'm
not sure if Android does it, you'll have to let
me no, No, it doesn't, okay, And that is the
screen time update. It's mental health Mondays. By the way,
we're just trying to make life a little bit better.
Lari Sharpage, good morning, Good morning. She's our licensed clinical council.
You'll recognize your voice from Tuesdays when we formally did
(11:15):
something called make a Date or Break where that was
really relationship focused. Now we've shifted to mental health Mondays
to really include everyone. That sometimes will include relationships, but
like I said, little tidbits on how to make things better.
So two out of three Americans right now are concerned
with the amount of screen time that they have.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Are you one of them? Yes? Absolutely.
Speaker 11 (11:35):
In fact, I'm a little jealous that you get an
update on Sunday that.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Tells you I don't know, I don't know if you
want that screen time update. It's a minimum like it
says something around like four hours a day.
Speaker 11 (11:46):
I mean, it's incredible how much we use our phones
and don't even necessarily realize it and aren't very intentional
about it. And this is where digital detalks becomes really,
really important, because digital detalks is your opportunity to actually
intentionally step away from the phone.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
And we all need this.
Speaker 11 (12:00):
I think we've all heard each other or maybe said
to a friend, go and touch some grass.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Well, that is what the grass is frozen right now.
So so so wes what can I do instead?
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Now? I have heard of people setting up like technology
free zones, either in their house or just in their
own personal lives. Like I live in a one bedroom
like little shoe box, So I mean like I can
see my phone from all angleige Yeah.
Speaker 11 (12:24):
For sure, But still having it away from you, particularly
when you are winding down or going to sleep or
having wrestle time is important. A lot of us grab
our phones without even realizing it, so having that separate
space that need to get up and walk across the
room or the house to get it can really be
helpful in interrupting this. But any type of structure you
put in place, and there's certainly apps and other tools
you can use, is important to help you get a
(12:46):
little rest and recharge, because our phones can make us
more anxious and more overwhelmed. As much helpful and this
as they give us, they also take from us too.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
Okay, So that was one tip, put it somewhere else
and walk away from it. Was there anything else that
you might have come across the take breaks?
Speaker 11 (13:01):
So if you find yourself scrolling or even just doing
work for a long period of time in your phone,
make sure that you are taking breaks to put the
phone fully down and just stretch your body and move around.
A lot of times we can get ourselves into uncomfortable
positions and not even realize it because we're just kind
of stuck in a scroll.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Oh, make sure you're taking breaks the doom scroll. And
you know what's cool about hopefully our show.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Maybe you get the sense when you listen that you
can pull us up on the iHeart app. I mean,
of course you still have to use your phone from that,
but you can put it down a walk away and
do other things. We take care of you with music,
a little bit of content, a little conversation hopefully to
make things just a.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Lit little bit better exactly exactly.
Speaker 11 (13:40):
And also keep in mind that a lot of people
find that interaction with other people to be lonely on
the phone, and that there needs to be that in person,
outside of technology interaction. That would be the other tip
I would give is make sure you're getting that social
interaction other places as well.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
Okay, Lrie Sharpage is our licensed clinical counselor. If you're
not following her, she's at the Coping Queen and she
joins us on mondays I posted a.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Solo outing speaking of getting at the house.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
I went to columb I went to Columbus on Saturday
night by myself. If you're a visual person, we'll probably
talk about this coming up in our eight o'clock hour.
You can get a jump at the Tiff to F's
potter like the Wizard. Thank you, Laurie, thank you. Coming
up three minutes from now, I'll fill you in on
the three things you need to know to get your
day started. In Cincy's we'll talk about the Oscars and
(14:27):
all things that happened, and most of them putting me
to sleep, because that's how boring it was.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
But we'll get to that when you need to know.
She's got you. It's three things with Tiff.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
So Hulu had their own little netflixy type of issue
last night. If you're watching the Oscars live, give me
a second. We'd just before eight o'clock eight thirty, I
have a chance for you to win a pair of
Cyclones tickets.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
So don't go farm all.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
Right, So, if you watched the Oscars on Hulu last
night live, they had their own little netflixy type of issue.
Was it the Jake, Paul and Tyson fight where they
had all that buffering and the Internet went off on them. Well,
Hulu's turn was last night because right before the two
major awards, one of the arguably the biggest Best Motion Picture,
(15:11):
the entire thing was like rebooted. They said, this evening,
we experienced technical and live stream issues on Hulu, which
impacted some Oscars viewers. We apologize for the experience and
will make a full replay of the event available as
soon as possible. Well, at that point, Hulu, I've already
gone to Twitter. I'm over it at that point. But
(15:32):
this is, you know, I feel like this era in
our life where the streaming services work out the kings,
because in the future that's pretty much what we're going
to be watching them on.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
All right, And then second and three things you need
to Know.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
Let's go through a brief Oscars rundown because I'm getting
mixed reviews on whether or not you care about it.
Here are like the three things within the three things
that you need to know. Winners Honora picked up the
most amount of the night with five, including Best Picture,
Best Actor went to Adrian Brody and not to meet
Shalo May. Best Actress went to Maddie. Best Supporting Actor
(16:04):
went to Kieran Culkin, and Best Supporting Actress went to
zoe Z Eldana. I would say that the host, Conan O'Brien,
did you know, like an okay job. He's clearly a professional.
But for me, the entire thing was so sleepy, so slow.
It felt so forced. It felt like there was a
skit and then an introduction and then the video montage
(16:27):
and then the announcement and then the speech. It felt
like it took fifteen minutes to present one award. So
overall I felt that was a little You'll see and
hear some Conan moments. I'll play one for you. This
is one about Kendrick Lamar that will come on.
Speaker 9 (16:42):
Ill we're halfway through the show, which means it's time
for Kendrick Lamar to come out and call Drake a pedophile.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
I'll take every opportunity I can get to also play
the Defying Gravity and Ariana Grande moment, because that truly
was the biggest of the night. It was seven minutes
as an opener, and here's a quick clip of it.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
You know us no wizard dot there is a loss.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
And you can just hear how powerful their voices are
with sounds a very minimal effort, right, I don't want
to say snubbed, because Wicked did win, just like none
of the major categories. So one more Oscars thing because
(17:50):
I've been playing just a new speech in every three
things that we do. This is zowais Aldana picking up
best Supporting Actress.
Speaker 12 (17:55):
I am a proud child of immigrant parents with dreams
and dignity and hard working hands. And I am the
first American of Dominican origin to accept an Academy award,
and I know I will not be the last.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
I hope. I love hearing people excited about things, so
I loved that for her. That was the award that
Ariana Grande was up for as well, and of course
she did not win on that one.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
All right.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
Then, lastly, in three things you need to Know for
SNL this weekend, Shane.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Gillis was the host.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
I thought I did a pretty silly, fun job, and
Tate McCrae was the musical guest.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
Oh my god, and here.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
She is, ladies and gentlemen, Tate mccraysh.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
Her performance was really cool. I have a feeling you'll
come across some clips if you haven't already. She did
that whole thing with all these chairs. It was like
all these stacked up chairs around her that she was
climbing on.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Very cool.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
All right, let's leave it there for now. That's three
things you need to know for Monday, March third. It's
three three, twenty twenty five, coming up at eight thirty.
Your chance to win Cyclones tickets? And have you ever
done this one thing by yourself? Highly recommend it. If
you haven't had a chance to check out my social
(19:24):
and you're a visual person at the tiff to F's
Potter like the Wizard. It's the top thing of my stories,
and I'll kind of break all that down for you
next you're.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
PI kiss on us one solo is the keyword. You'll
need that for a pair of Cyclones tickets. Have you
gone to a game yet? I'm a wicked big fan
of hockey I love it. And speaking of hockey, I
went to the NHL Stadium series on Saturday night and
I went by myself. Now, if you're a visual person
(19:54):
at the tiff two F's Potter like the Wizard, because
there's some like intricate details and tips on my recommendations
on how to do things solo and a sporting event
is a great way to get your feet wet in
the experience. Now, for some you're like, dude, tip, this
is my life. I do this all the time. But
for some, for others, it's like, whoa wait a minute,
(20:15):
have you ever driven like four hours for forty five
minutes or does that sound completely ridiculous to you? I know,
typically it would be ridiculous for me too, And it
all ties together. I had tickets to this game. If
you don't know what the NHL Stadium Series is, the
Columbus Blue Jackets played the Detroit Red Wings outside at
(20:36):
OSU at Buckeye Stadium, so they built the rink inside
the football stadium, which, oh my god, that stadium is
so big. It is a war to fight find your seat.
It's so much, so much effort. And I really really
wanted to go because I'm a big fan and.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
I it's not that I just I couldn't.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
I found out last minute that I was going, and
I didn't put the time and energy into finding someone
to go with.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
I had asked a few people and it just didn't
work out.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
And I said, well, I can either miss this or
I could drive the four hours for the forty five
minutes and say I did it and experience it, and
I'm telling you, like almost ten out of ten times,
that's the ladder. It's always worth it, especially when you're
by yourself. If you've never tried solo events, I highly
(21:22):
recommend a sporting event. And you know the Reds are
gonna be in sound soon enough. You know, ECHL hockey
game for the Cyclones a great experience. It's such a
cool way to test out the theory and to test
out your bandwidth with it and whether or not you
like it or you don't. So it was, like I said,
the four hours to get up there, you know, almost
(21:42):
two hours to get to Columbus Traffic at OSU is
a nightmare. Then you got to take a shuttle bus,
and then you have to have a very healthy pair
of walking shoes on because wherever you enter the stadium,
it's going to take you about six hours to get
to your seat because that's how big the place is.
Once I finally did that, and I sat down in
my seat and I watched a period of hockey and
(22:03):
then a performance from twenty one Pilot. So you know,
Columbus natives we love top here in Cincy as well,
watched them perform, watched a little bit more hockey. I
said to myself, E I'm good. I saw it, I
did it, I experienced it. I spent the time with myself.
I'm good to go in and reverse the entire process
(22:23):
to get home. Took walked out of the stadium, got
to the shuttle bus, walked to the car, drove the.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Two hours back. And I'm so happy I did it.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
If I can highly encourage you to try on doing
something alone, hear it out of my mouth.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
You got this.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
And one of the tips that I posted on social
media is I didn't talk to anyone, which is kind
of a new thing for me. Usually when I go somewhere,
I always spark up a conversation with someone, and I didn't.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
I just observed.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
I just observed myself, what I felt, what I was
going through, observed what was around me, and I just
spent the time with myself. And I can, like I said,
I cannot recommend it enough. And if you can take
the expectation off of being solo and.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
What the outcome is supposed to be like.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
For instance, if I had gone with someone, it would
be like Okay, what time do you want to leave?
You know, do you want to stay for the whole game?
Are you hungry? Where should we part? All this conversation
that we have to have, you get rid of that
and you take the expectation off. You allow yourself to
live in the moment and be spontaneous, and there is
nothing more satisfying than trying that on all right, Like
I said, if you're a visual person at the tiff
(23:32):
tops potter like the Wizard, it's the top thing in
my story. If you're hungry for a little bit more
in the meantime, speaking of.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Hockey, solo is the keyword you're gonna.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Need for a pair of tickets to the Cyclones game.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
I've got that for you coming up in a few
don't go far. You're waking up with SIF in the
morning on kiss one.
Speaker 6 (23:49):
O seven to one.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
I'm hoping you have a keyword for me.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
Hello, congratulations, you got the keyword and your collar ten gal,
you're going to the Cyclones.
Speaker 6 (24:03):
That's awesome.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
What a joyful energy you have on a Monday morning.
What is your name? What neighborhood are you listening to me?
Speaker 6 (24:10):
And my name is let's Hunter, I'm from a town
formerly known as Amelia in Ohio.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
My gown.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Well, thanks, thank you for waking up with Tiff in
the morning. Awesome, thank you.
Speaker 6 (24:26):
This was exciting.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
So we were just chit chatting about going solo and stuff.
Have you done things on your own before? Would you
do it? What's your thoughts? Give me your take?
Speaker 6 (24:35):
Yes, I have. I actually a couple of years ago
went to the post Alone concert at River Been by myself.
None of my friends that also liked Posty, they weren't
able to go, and so I just was like, I
really want to stay up and I went to them
and I really enjoyed it. The crowd was awesome, the
people that were next to me were super nice, so
(24:56):
it was an awesome experience.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
So you if someone right now is a because you
heard it out of my mouth a million times, but
a summer right now was listening and they were like, oh, man,
I don't know you would. What advice would you give them.
Speaker 6 (25:07):
To do it?
Speaker 8 (25:08):
Do it?
Speaker 6 (25:08):
Like, you don't need somebody else to go with you
to have fun, and you could meet people along the way,
so it'll be worth it.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
I love that. Lex.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
We'll leave it there for now. Okay, I appreciate you.
If you took an ell on these hockey tickets. I'll
have you again tomorrow at eight thirty. If you want
to set a reminder, speaking of that post Malone show,
you if you went to that River Bend show, you
remember him saying this.
Speaker 6 (25:29):
Thank you for this beautiful, this beautiful God's team.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
Post he got booed because he brought a cow with
some of them got him a cowboys jersey, and he
said that in the wrong place.
Speaker 8 (25:44):
All right.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
In the meantime, we're still commercial. Fre you good morning.
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with Tip.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
Out of all the things with the oscars, this one
thing shocked me. Give me a hot secord just before
nine o'clock. I'm but sure is still very much giving winter.
But we should see a break at some point this week,
crushing into the sixties.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
All right, every three.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
Things, I've kind of given you a little taste of
something different. We'll start off with just at least the
biggest thing of the night that Anora picked up the
most awards, including Best Picture a total of five. Best
Actor went to Adrian Brody. Best Actress went to Mikey Madison.
Best Supporting Actor went to Krgan Culki Kerrigan Culkin. Best
(26:28):
Supporting Actress went to Zoes Aldona. Here's a quick clip
of Adrian Brody speech.
Speaker 13 (26:32):
I'm here once again to represent the lingering traumas and
the repercussions of war and systematic oppression, and of anti
Semitism and racism and of othering. And I believe that
(26:52):
I pray for a healthier and a happier and a
more inclusive world. And I believe if the past can
teach anything, it's a reminder to not let hate go
un checked.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
That was for The Brutalist, a movie I didn't see. Okay,
His girlfriend has kids and was formerly married to Harvey Weinstein.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
I don't know why that shocked me.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
That was the same category that Timothy Shalomey was up.
He did not win. Kylie Chenner was there, though, I'll
see photos of them bopping around. Lots of celebrities went
to the Vanity Fair after party. Stories haven't quite come
out from the night yet, but I'm sure they will.
Conan O'Brien did an okay job. I feel like as
a host, he's definitely a professional. I think overall, the
it was just too long. It was very drawn out,
(27:37):
a lot of skits, a lot of chitter chatter, a
lot of this, a lot of that.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
It was just like all right, land the plane.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Performance wise, there was a tribute between Ray, Lisa and
Doja Cat for James Bond, which was completely irrelevant to me.
I have no idea why they were honoring James Bond.
And the performance was like, you know, great as far
as vocal talent, but unnecessary.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
That's the voice of Ray.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
By the way, she's very powerful as far as singing goes.
All right, she sings a song called Escapism, and then
of course you're gonna see Ari and Cynthia Rivo's performance
come up all over social I've played a bunch this morning. Lastly,
in three Things you Need to Know, Harry Styles one
ran the Tokyo Marathon. What do you think His time was?
Three hours and twenty four minutes.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
That's really good. Shout out to you.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
If you're training for the Flying Pig, We're not far
off from It'll be here just like that. That is
three things you need to Know for the third of March.
The best way to keep listening to TIF in the
morning is by searching kiss one O seven one on
