Speaker 1 (00:00):
If you're waking up with fifth in the morning kiss one.
So apparently something that I do quite a bit could
potentially ruin my sex life. Okay, Uh, you know, I
don't really talk about sex a lot on my show,
but it is something that I consume a lot. When
I came out wrong, oops, is no more. So, I
(00:25):
consume a lot of information about it. It comes up
a lot on my feed. I read a lot of books,
the articles, et cetera. You know, I'm always I'm a
curious person in general. I like to read. So I uh,
I'm sorry, I'm distracted. Yeah, anyway, So I read a
lot about it, but we don't talk a lot about
it on this show. And I'm in this phase of
(00:46):
my personal life where it's something that I'm like super
interested in exploring. You know, I I guess if we're
going there. The Finance Guy and I broke up, well
almost three years ago, but it took so long for
me to recover from that split. And by the way,
if you're going through a breakup as well, there is
no timeline that the universe gives you. It's all an
(01:06):
internal thing. So I promise at the end of the
tunnel there is light. I just don't know how long
that tunnel is for you. And you know, the thing
about breakups are sometimes you feel like you find the
end of the tunnel and you're like, who I made it,
and then something happens and you gotta go back into
the tunnel. But eventually you'll know it when you get
to the other side, Okay, And I promise that because
I was very much upset. You know, it just took
(01:29):
me a long time to heal that part of my life.
But anyways, now that I have healed, it's definitely something
I'm interested in, and it's actually something i'm like very
much trying to explore casually. It's hard to get guys
on my same page. But anyways, Wow, I don't know
how we ended up here. Pj's could be ruining your
(01:49):
sex life. And I feel like women can never get
it right. I mean, I'm telling you, I tried. I'm
telling you I feel like women can really never get
it right when it comes to this stuff, either doing
the right thing or the wrong thing. We're cool, We're
too cool. We're not cool enough. You know, We're try
to be funny. You're not funny, Like it's just it
doesn't matter what version of yourself you present. Sometimes it's
(02:10):
just not the right fit right. But anyways, they say
that sleeping in the nude tends to lead to a
more satisfying sex life, and apparently you can burn more
calories according to this one ob gyn in this article,
because you have your body has to work a little
bit harder to regulate your sleep hormones and your temperature,
(02:30):
et cetera. That leads to more calorie burn Sounds like
a ridiculous thing that you would have read from a
Cosmo magazine back in the nineteen nineties, but nonetheless it
did come up. The quote here that did stick out
to me, and the reason why I am talking about
it is because comfort kills urgency. So apparently that big,
oversized T shirt that you and I both sleep in,
(02:52):
or maybe sometimes those flammable jammies AA tends to lead
to a killed killed mood in moment, I do understand
that there's a level of comfort, but I bring it
up because I'm trying to encourage myself to just be
a little bit more in my feminine energy, and that
looks very different depending on who's who and who's into what.
(03:14):
But buying you know, better clothes for myself, or buying
better pajamas or buying better intimates, Like I'm really doing
that for myself and I feel like that has boosted
my level of confidence. So if there was anything that
you took out of that conversation, I hope it brought
you joy and feel free to message me at the
TIF two F's Potter like the Wizard ladies who are single,
(03:36):
I'm right alongside y'all. Coming up around nine thirty, we'll
do the daily debrief. Every day. I choose one big
thing that we talk about on the show and we
kind of revisit it. What's your love language with someone,
even if you are casually trying to explore, but or
on a deeper level of you know, getting married. What's
your big love language. I'll share what mine is and
we'll talk about that. Coming up next
