Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
You know I'm a sucker for a list, and to
be transparent with you, I didn't even deep dive into
this article. I just saw the fact that Cincinnati fell
within the top ten of the most sleep Deprived Cities list,
and I immediately turn my mic on. I said, let's
check in on this. Each city was rated off of
five metrics. Let's see where we rank with physical activity, obesity,

(00:27):
alcohol consumption, mental distress, and noise slash light pollution. What,
by the way, Ohio is home to three of the
top ten most sleep deprived cities.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
What's going on here? Is it?

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Because we've got a lot of truck drivers driving through
the area. I know, in my neighborhood of Mount Adams,
I hear seventy one north and south all day long.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
It's like what I fall asleep to.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Every name coming in at number ten was Memphis, then Cleveland, Laredo, Texas, Philly,
Indianapolis at number six, and then Cincinnati sits at number
five as one of the top ten most sleep deprived cities.
As you and I talk here before seven o'clock this morning,
Toledo immediately after that, Detroit, New Orleans, and Norfolk, Virginia.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
What's going on in Virginia.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
On the flip side, the city with the best quality
of sleep is Minneapolis, Seattle, San Jose, Madison, Boise, and
the list goes on.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
You know, shake that ice.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Coffee, babe, shake it up, shake it up, get ready
to start. We're not far off from the three things
you need to know if you're a little sleepy. This morning,
I look through all the news and I did pay
attention to things that you need to know, including what
mayor Aftab had to say about social media. We'll get
into Miley Cyrus and the piece of advice that she
got from Indiana Jones.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
We'll do that in two songs at six fifty.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
When you need to know, She's got you three things
with tip on good morning.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
What is your perception of yourself through the lens of
social media? And now imagine what that's like to be
a teenager. Good to that I got something you might like.
We're just before seven o'clock, fifty three degrees today, barely
barely touching the sixties by this afternoon, maybe scattered rain
tomorrow Saturday. From Memorial Day weekend, we're looking at mid sixties,

(02:24):
partly cloudy skies. I'm hoping more on the sunny side
for the unofficial start of summer.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
All right, let's start off with.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Mara Aftab, you know, speaking yesterday or maybe this was
the day before, about youth violence, which is a common
thread in cities throughout the summer, but specifically in Cincinnati,
saying the two things that lead to youth violence are
one the access to guns and to social media. Now,
I think the Mayor's office in Sinci in general, and

(02:50):
parents across the tri State have been trying working tirelessly
to try to curb this violence.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
He said.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Quote our comprehensive plan to disrupt the violence actually has
an action team that's devoted specifically to social media. The
chief has devoted resources to our intelligence departments to monitor
social media, particularly when we think violence is about to
pop off. That's why you're hearing about different initiatives around
Cincinnati where people are hanging out at certain places and

(03:18):
you know, offering resources to the youth, et cetera.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
But I think of this on a larger scale.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
You know, growing up in the millennial world, we did
not have access to phones until we were of a
certain age. Most likely right, it was like once you
could drive, you would get a cell phone, not necessarily
the case now. So when you think about youth, they
don't know the difference of what's perceived of them on
social media versus what is real life. And I think
millennials in above have a way better understanding of that.

(03:47):
Everything they see and consume is through the lens of
their iPhone or their Android, and so when something happens
on social media, you know, behind the lens of a screen,
you finally get together.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
And this is where the youth.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Violence pops off, rather than having the coping skills, the understanding,
the brain power, the tactics to figure.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Out what is right, what is wrong, what is real,
and what is not.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
So that was a conversation that I read this morning
in an article and I figured i'd share it with you.
Second and three things you need to know. The Taste
of Cincinnati kicks off on Saturday. For some reason, I
thought it was Friday, but as a reminder, Saturday, Sunday,
Monday on Fifth Street. The big drama around the festival
last year was the traffic and the closures because they
did go into effect like a day or two early.

(04:33):
They started again very early this year. Last night, you'll
see tons of closures around four to seventy one Columbia Parkway,
the P and G building. However, I do think they
are trying to protect some of that parking, So just
be aware.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
It's still a little on the earlier.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Side, the quiet side this morning to have any real
problems with delays, but just note that they will happen
now through like Wednesday. It's pretty much a solid week
that four seventy one is closed and Colombia's closed around.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
That area, all right.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Lastly, and three things you need to know to get
your day started. In Cincy, we are not far off
from a Miley Cyrus album coming out, not this weekend
but next and she's got that movie coming to theaters,
and she's constantly asked, Hey, are you touring, And it
really just seems like Miley is not gonna be touring
with this album. In fact, she kind of confirms that

(05:23):
here with Zane Lowe.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
That's all I want to create this film is the
film is my way of touring. That's why I'm putting
in the theaters because it's something you can watch night
after night after night, and you get a discover and
you get to feel like you're a part of a performance.
But I don't have to, you know, tax myself in
that way.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
She went on to say too, it's not that I
don't want to perform. I put on a tour concept
every week. I just can't risk damaging my voice. I
have a problem with my vocal cords. My songs are big.
I don't write little songs and I don't lip sync
and I can hear you could hear that in her voice.
By the way, it also came out her next single,
Easy Lover, was originally meant for Beyonce's album Cowboy Carter

(06:03):
and I have a little clip ski for you. I
could see that not being a great fit for Cowboy Carter,
and the clip is a little on the janky side.
I'll work on getting a better one, but I bet

(06:25):
we'll have that for new music Friday tomorrow. That is
three things you need to know for the twenty second
of May.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Are you hungry right now?

Speaker 3 (06:38):
If you were going to snap your fingers and in
front of you at your desk, your office, your home office,
could be any meal, any meal, from anywhere, anytime. What
are you craving, what are you obsessed with? What meal
would you want to eat over and over and over again.
What's your go to right now you can't get enough of.
If you're a visual person, you can take a peek
at my stories because we're gonna talk about this at seven.

(07:00):
I have eaten this specific meal three times in less
than one week. In fact, I almost got it twice
in one day. I cannot get enough of this meal?
And Cincinnati, what is wrong with me? We will get
to that and more, and you can get a jump
on the convo talk back with Tiff on iHeartRadio. When
you search Kiss one oh seven one. It's a great
way to participate early on in the show. Microphone's in

(07:20):
the top right hand corner. I'd love to have you
good morning Nelly on Tiff in the morning. He'll be
here a couple of months from now at River Bend.
During warmer days, you know, we're most certainly not getting
those at the moment.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Got a day's only gonna be in like the fifties.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
If you're going to the Reds game tomorrow. Sarah and
I were just chit chatting in the hallway. She's like,
I think I'm gonna have to legitimately bring gloves, and
I know that sounds dramatic. I mean, at least a koozie.
At least bring a koozie if you're gonna have a
beer tomorrow. That's your reminder. Set a reminder with seering,
you know, that is a potter thing. My dad always

(07:55):
has a koozy on him, always, always, and so I
started practicing that as well.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
In my fanny pack. You guys know me.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
In the summer there will always be a bathing suit
and a koozy. And you'll probably need that too this
weekend if you're going to the Taste of Cincinnati. I
just mentioned that the road closures went into effect last night,
typically causing a little bit of drama.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Because they closed them so early.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Taste starts on Saturday, and those closures will last I
think at least through Wednesday, so a little early in
the commute to have a ton of traffic out there.
But just notice that that'll be the cause and effect
for the next couple of days.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
All right.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
In the meantime, we're still commercial Freeme coming up at
seven twenty. Is there a food that you cannot get
enough of in the tri State? Like, don't like imagine
close your eyes, I don't really close them if you're driving,
but just put yourself in a position you snap your fingers.
You can choose any meal from anywhere, and since you
or beyond, what are you.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Eating right now?

Speaker 3 (08:52):
I'll explain why we're talking about this in a couple
of songs, but talk back with tiff On iHeartRadio, which,
by the way, is a great way to listen to
the show as you go about your morning because commercial
free for the rest of the hour because you're.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Waking up fifth in the morning.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Kiss one use seven one morning.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
I think we can agree on two things. One that
food is one of the most craveable things whatever the
food group is for you, that you can have. And
two nothing hits quite like a fast food craving. I
could almost sometimes taste the smell of Burger King from

(09:30):
when I was like seven years old and I would
go with my mom. She'd drive me in our two
thousand pathfinder. The Nissan Pathfinder was gold. She had a
maroon one, then a gold one. Like I can feel
the memory, I can see the memory, can smell the memory,
it can taste the memory.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Food does that. So the question for.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
This morning is if you could snap your fingers right
now at your office your home office at school, and
there'd be like something in front of you to eat
or drink in Cincinnati.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
What would that be at all?

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Also, could be beyond right, could be something from when
you traveled. I just want to know what it is,
because hopefully I'm not alone in this. If you're a
visual person at the tiff two F's potter.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Like the Wizard.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
When I went through some stomach problems the last couple
of weeks, I don't know if you knew this. I
had posted a picture of me at tr Health because
I'd been going through it. When I got out of
my procedure, the one thing that I was craving was
a smoothie bowl the Asie Baby, And at that point

(10:32):
after the procedure, I would have spent an entire paychecks
worth on that asa E bowl. But it's typically not
something I like to spend money on because they're wicked expensive.
But something has come over me in the last week
where I am craving osi E bowls NonStop. In fact,
I got one on Friday, one on Saturday, and one

(10:53):
on Sunday. I've spent nearly one hundred dollars on Asie
bowls this week. I don't even get paid on Friday.
I do not get paid tomorrow. I cannot. I just can't.
I can't get enough. I can't get Like right now,
I would leave. I would leave work right now to

(11:15):
go get an asai ebol.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
I would.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
I would happily leave work.

Speaker 6 (11:19):
Hands down.

Speaker 7 (11:20):
Pizza Hut.

Speaker 6 (11:23):
In my world, when I die and go to heaven,
I'm having pizza hut all I can eat, no gaining weight,
the deep dish, the stuff crust, the pineapple on top,
extra cheese, It's just not too hot that it's burning
your mouth. It's just the perfect temperature.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Love it, girl, you walked me see it's a magic
food is a magical experience for some.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
I controvert.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
I don't mind pineapple on pizza, just so we get
that out the way.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
I think it's a lovely addition.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
I don't know if everyone agrees with that one right
now in Cincinnati, but it's funny to me that you
chose pizza A pizza Hut. I told you like a
fast food place. It just like it's burned. So, like
I said, if you're a visual person, take a peek
at social also, I would love to know what your
go to food is that you can't get enough. Hopefully
I'm not the only one spending an entire paycheck on

(12:15):
ASI ebols five one, three, seven, four nine, one oh
seven one or talk back with Tiff well for sure
to wake us up on a Thursday heading into Memorial
Day weekend. We're commercial free, so good timing. I'm Tiff
of Tiff in the morning. If you and I haven't
met yet, you are our first caller of the day.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Good morning, good morning.

Speaker 8 (12:34):
I just wanted to contribute to the craving.

Speaker 9 (12:36):
Yes, same, yeah, I am currently pregnant and my biggest
craning is the chicken and Noki soup from Olive Gardens.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
Specifically, I'm so glad you're our first pregnant gal of
the day to call.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
How far along are you?

Speaker 1 (12:52):
Twelve weeks?

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Okay? So what is it about?

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Like?

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Walk me through why the Olive Garden has you hook
right now?

Speaker 8 (13:01):
It is just something that I cannot get enough of it.
I could easily eat it like three times a week.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
You get it?

Speaker 10 (13:08):
Girl?

Speaker 2 (13:08):
What's your name?

Speaker 11 (13:08):
What?

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Nahbhordy waking up at me and Hailey for four Thanks Hailey,
keep me updated on the pregnancy.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Well do my girl?

Speaker 3 (13:17):
If you're just walking into the conversation. Visuals are posted
at the Tiff to F's potter like the Wizard if
you need to see it so you can taste it
as well.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
I had over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
I've spent I've spent one hundred dollars in the past
week on Asai ebols. I can't get enough of them,
and we have It's different for every person. What that
craving is for you, what that food craving is. I
simply just I can't get enough. I've gotten them like
three or four days in a row. I don't know
what's going on with me.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
We're gonna check your talk back girl.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Trynic go.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Smithy has asa E bowls for like thirteen dollars. I
don't have to spend that much. Thank you.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
You are too good to me. You guys are always
so good to me. I appreciate the talk with Tiff.
You're catching on to that feature. It's the iHeartRadio at
microphones in the top right hand corner. It's just an
alternative way to contribute. I got time for one more.

Speaker 9 (14:07):
Hi, Tiff, this is Ashley calling you from downtown Cincinnati morning.
If you are on an able kick, you've gotta come
down to ban of soun right next to Finley marketase
they have got the best.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
Absolutely, Ashley, thank you. I will be there immediately. All right,
coming up, let's do it. Maybe two songs from now,
maybe even three minutes if I can get my act together.
There's a viral moment from a Reds fan at a
game recently. I'll explain what it is next, because it
might give you the.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Ick you're waking up fifth in the morning.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
Remember, you have to sometimes actively swallow the ick.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Okay, this is an icky one.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
The other night, there is a moment at the Reds
game that's somewhat gone viral, most likely cause Sarah Lisa's
posts about it and she's a million followers, where a
guy brought a baseball glove into Great American right and
dropped and did not catch the fly ball.

Speaker 12 (15:07):
Yeah yeah, yeah, this was the viral clip. You've probably
seen it online. The Reds were in Pittsburgh. This up puss,
yeah yeah. And this guy he looks like he's in
his mid forties or whatever, you know, and it's the
foul ball and it goes to him, and I mean
he looked very confident, like held his hand up in
the air. Mind you, there is a glove on his hand.
On this forty something year old man. Dud dude misses it,

(15:31):
you know, it tips out of the glove and goes out.
And I'm like, Okay, if you're gonna wear the glove,
you at least got to catch the ball. But then,
also I thought of the questionnaire. I said, what should
be the age cut off for bringing a glove to
a baseball game? Like I see grown men all the
time with jerseys on the glove like a helmet. Sometimes
just like, oh my god, can't it's an ick.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
It's an ick for me, sixteen for me. If you
are like in high school, yes, okay.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
The day you graduate senior year of high school is
the last day that you can bring a glove to
the ballpark.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
That is just too much. But here I'll make the
exception for this though.

Speaker 12 (16:09):
Okay, if you have a child with you and you
are a grown man, sure that could be an activity
you do together. Now a lot of times at the ballpark,
I do not see any children with these grown men
that have gloves on their hands.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
And you're a resident of Great America, yeah, and I
see this.

Speaker 12 (16:24):
I'm like, oh, I just like it's an ick, right,
it's an ick.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
I think it's an ick to bring to pack the
glove take it out of the kid.

Speaker 12 (16:37):
I see these guys like handing over their cell phone
to the ticket person at the gate. God love those
people by the way, and there you got the cell
phone in one hand and the other they've got the
glove on.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
Ready to ready. Not in a bag? Is there not
like a bag for their just? I mean they could,
but they are ready with the glove.

Speaker 12 (16:56):
On their hand. Just and then they run out to
the stadium, you know, get to the field to catch
the ball during batting practice.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Oh my god. They get there early.

Speaker 12 (17:05):
You have to get there early for batting practice. So
they're getting in there as the gates are opening. They
go out to the outfield seats and they're just holding
up their hands.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Ready to catch a ball at any moment.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
What is ten percent of five billion dollars?

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Do the math quick. We're just before eight o'clock.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
At eight thirty, I have your chance to win Alex
Warren tickets. He announced to show this October at the
Brady after selling out Bogart.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
So don't go far all.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
Right, before we get to the math, let's do a
ditty up day. Day twelve of testimony yesterday was I
guess a little bit more on the quiet side than
what we've had, Right, We're used to these big bombshell
testimony days with Cassie Ventura, et CETERA. Few people testified yesterday,
a former assistant, a trauma abuse agent, and one of
the themes that the trauma abuse agent talked about was victims.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
And how they behave Because.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
There's this narrative, there's this question that honestly shocks me
that it is still a question of why did Cassie stay?
How many think we all want to know, but like you,
because you want to you want to almost be put
in her shoes of like what was going on exactly
in her brain or at least that's how my brain
process is information.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
But that is abuse.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
Anyone that has suffered domestic violence, I'm speculating here on
the outside looking in, knows what she's talking about why
she stayed, right, And the only reason, the only way
I can kind of equate it back to us is
we all have that friend in our life that is
in love with someone, right, no matter how many times
you told them to leave, they're in love with like
that small fraction of that person. That happens all the time.

(18:54):
And I think that's what happened to Cassie and Didting.
We also heard just a little from a former assistant
who said that he's testifying, by the way, with immunity,
describing how he would set up the hotel room for
these freakoffs with candles and liquor and of course the
lubricants and the loob and you know, cleaned up afterwards,

(19:15):
essentially to protect combs from embarrassment. So again, when we
think about this stuff in your jury, in your court
of law, in your car, it is not an abuse
charge that did he has. But I do think that
there's a plan on the prosecution side to tie all
this together. In the end, he's up for those five
different counts. Abuse does not prove rico, but that is

(19:36):
what they do need to prove rico, sex trafficking, coercion,
all right. Second in three thing. Oh by the way,
by the way, Kit Cutty did not testify yesterday. He's
expected to take the stand allegedly today when there's more
on that one tomorrow'll have it for him. Second in
three things you need to know. You know, there's been
some rumors swirling about Taylor Swift. So it started what

(19:57):
two days ago during the Handmaid's Tale premiere, episode nine premiere,
when reputation was featured in the song.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
So fans are like, oh.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
My god, are featured in the episode. Fans are like,
are we getting reputation right? We're getting this reputation Taylor's version.
The AMAS are just a couple of days away, and
the list of presenters were released Benson Boone, Renee rap
Leany Wilson, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Rod Stewart, Jennifer Lopez.
There will be some other social media celebrities there like

(20:27):
Alex Earl, etc. Fans are thinking, well, maybe she will
do something, but as of right now, there's no word
on whether or not Taylor Swift is going to be
at the AMAS. There's also another rumor circulating right now
through page six that Scooter Braun is helping Taylor buy
back the original versions of her song. Now, if you
remember that name, maybe those of you a don't. Scooter

(20:49):
Braun is in the music industry. He bought the Masters
and sold them for a profit a couple of years ago,
which is what prompted Taylor Swift to create her own versions.
So there is a chance, it's not confirmed, that she
might be getting her own songs back if she so
chooses to buy them with the help of Scooter Brown,
which I think would be a weird full circle moment,

(21:10):
but we'll see what comes to that.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
Again, there's no validity to it yet.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
And then, lastly, in three Things you had need to know,
I had asked you, what is ten percent of five
billion dollars? Five billion is the net worth of the
Avatar franchise. Okay, I'm just doing a loose google here.
That's five hundred million dollars that Matt Damon turned down
because he didn't want to do Avatar or he couldn't.

Speaker 13 (21:32):
Rather, I turned down, and I will go down in
history as the person because Jim Cameron called me.

Speaker 7 (21:40):
He offered me ten percent of Avatar.

Speaker 13 (21:44):
You will never meet an actor who turned down more
money than me. So, but I was in the middle
of shooting The Bourne Ultimatum, and he wanted to shoot
during our post production, and we always needed more work
in our post production, and I needed to be around.

Speaker 7 (21:58):
I needed to be available to do more work in
our production.

Speaker 13 (22:01):
He was really lovely, and he said, you know, if
you don't, He goes, this movie doesn't need you, it doesn't.

Speaker 7 (22:05):
Need a movie star at all. He goes, the movie's
the star. The idea is the star.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
And so he obviously never went on to do it,
and Avatar became super successful. The reason why I bring
it up is because I think we're supposed to get
another Avatar at the end of this year.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
And it's just.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
A big weekend in the box office in general for
this coming week. And you've got Lee Lo and Stitch
Out and Mission Impossible. This is the eighth installment of
the Tom Cruise movie. Both are out this weekend. All right,
That is three things you need to know for the
twenty second of May. Your chance to win the Alex
Warren tickets coming up at eight thirty. The best way

(22:43):
to keep listening to TIF in the morning is by
searching kiss one oh seven one on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
You're waking up in the morning, Kiss one O seven one,
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
I think the keyword was finances.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
This is what happens when you run the show by yourself.
You don't have a producer to go back and forth with.
I think it's finances, is what I told you. Those
Alex warrant tickets. He'll be at Bogart's.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Nope, by lie.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
He just came off of a sold out show at
Bogart's on Sunday. He'll be at the Brady this fall.
So maybe this will be the first time I'm introducing you.
Should financial loyalty to a former boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife,
partner be maintained once you break up, especially if they
supported you during difficult times. So imagine being in a relationship,

(23:27):
you get out of this relationship, You've been in new
relationships since then, but you are still financially supporting your ex.
What are your thoughts on this? This is where the
conversation is going this morning. I'd be curious to see
what your opinion is and if you are still successfully
doing it five one three, seven, four nine, one oh
seven one. The reason why we're talking about it is

(23:49):
Dave Portnoy sat down with Shaysha and had this to say.

Speaker 11 (23:54):
Is it true your ex wife have access to you
buy the gun?

Speaker 12 (23:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (23:57):
I told you I trust her implicitly. I beg your
implicitly I trust her. If she wanted to take it,
she could. There's very few people that you meet where
you can trust implicitly and to be honest. She was
there when we were living at the in law's house.
She was there when we couldn't afford to Hamburg. She
was there through the grind. She to me, just like
we kind of separated when we start making it so
she doesn't get to enjoy any of that.

Speaker 7 (24:19):
To me, that's not right. I'm a loyalty guy. You
are boy, you rule.

Speaker 11 (24:23):
You long to the song for real?

Speaker 7 (24:25):
Yeah, I don't know. Too many people do it.

Speaker 14 (24:26):
Oh, it surprises people. But she counda if she want
to do something with it. She could have done that
long time ago.

Speaker 7 (24:31):
If your ex wife is she married, she's dating somebody boyfriend?
Are you cool with that? I wanted to be happy,
It's true.

Speaker 11 (24:37):
But did I she got she can't get in a
waxy this day? She got a good gotta cut off
cut a cut off cut a little.

Speaker 7 (24:41):
I won't even notice if it's gone.

Speaker 11 (24:43):
You mean to tell me she might? She might.

Speaker 7 (24:45):
I mean if she takes it all.

Speaker 11 (24:46):
No no, no no, but she might take like you
know what, I'm gonna have this I'm gonna have this
extravagant wedding almost been you know, half a million on
the wedding.

Speaker 7 (24:54):
You cool it, Yes, one hundred percent.

Speaker 12 (24:56):
Have mercy.

Speaker 11 (24:58):
What did you learn during that marriage about yourself?

Speaker 14 (25:02):
She's still my best friend, Like we get along better
friend than yeah.

Speaker 7 (25:06):
Really yeah.

Speaker 14 (25:07):
But she was with me at the beginning of this company,
and like if she called me right now, it is
like I need you, I'd be there.

Speaker 7 (25:12):
Like where it just didn't work as a matter.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
Okay, a little on the lengthy side, but I wanted
you to get the full debrief of what Portnoy was
really getting at. And do I think that there are
special circumstances like the one he's talking about where they
built up this massive company together. They weren't together once
it really popped off, and so he felt morally obligated
slash they have an understanding and a human trust of

(25:38):
one another to share their money.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
I do think that's a very specific case.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
But if we relate that, because this is what we
do on my show, if we relate this back to
our own kitchen tables here in Cincinnati.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
We're having a nice coffee together and you.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
Tell me that you have moved on in a completely
different maybe even marriage or a real relationship.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Yet you're still finding me supporting your ex.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
I can see, no matter how hard you want to
believe that that's going to be fine.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
How it's not fine.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
I can see right now someone in Cincy being like, yep,
I died. I don't want my significant other supporting their ex,
but there's not much I can do about it, and
they feel a type of way.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
There's there's and that's okay.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
That's that thing that's hidden inside you, right it's sometimes
you're afraid to admit. That's what you do on the
show right here. Maybe I'm wrong, Maybe I have it wrong.
Five one three seven four nine one oh seven one.
Are you still financially loyal to a former partner after
you've broken up? Walk me through it. By the way,
finances is the keyword. We've decided for the Alex Warren

(26:46):
tickets coming up in a field.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
There's a lot to get to with this topic of conversation,
so I'm going to get right to our phone lines.
You're waking up with Tip in the morning on kisquan
oh seven one. If you're no longer with someone, are
you still financially obligated to support them. That's where the
conversation is going this morning. How you're on the air.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Good morning.

Speaker 15 (27:08):
I think Dave Portnoy is not smart.

Speaker 8 (27:12):
I think it's ridiculous that somebody has a bank account
with them after they break up.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
I only simply for closure reasons, and maybe that's just
the way my emotions in brain work. But if I
am still attached to you in any way, then I'm
attached to you, right.

Speaker 15 (27:30):
I feel like she still has some control over him
having that bank account, even though she doesn't use it.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Okay, what's your name, by the way, what neighborhood you
wakeing up with me in this morning?

Speaker 15 (27:38):
My name is Morgan. I'm from Aurora, Indiana.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Morgan, you don't you're not going through anything similar, are you?

Speaker 1 (27:42):
And just want to check?

Speaker 7 (27:44):
No?

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Okay, okay, okay, thank you for the call.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
If you're just walking into the conversation, I'll let Dave
Portnoy explain what we're talking about.

Speaker 11 (27:51):
The true your ex wife have access to you by
the count.

Speaker 14 (27:53):
Yeah, I told you I trust her implicitly. I beg you, bod, implicitly,
I trust her. If she wanted to take it, she
could is very few people that you meet where you
can trust implicitly and to be honest, she was there
when we were living at the in law's house. She
was there when we couldn't afford to Hamburg. She was
there through the grind. She to me, just like we
kind of separated when we start making it so she

(28:14):
doesn't get to enjoy any of that, right.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
So that's what we're talking about this morning. Hi, you're
on the air.

Speaker 15 (28:19):
Your thoughts, Ella, I don't understand how If he has money,
that's one thing. If he has the money to support
two different people, that's one thing. But I don't understand
the other person getting into a relationship. Did you not
know that he was supporting an ex before that?

Speaker 4 (28:41):
Like?

Speaker 15 (28:41):
Are you okay with that? Like the new person that's dated?

Speaker 1 (28:44):
That doesn't make sense.

Speaker 15 (28:45):
I would who would.

Speaker 7 (28:46):
Be okay with that?

Speaker 3 (28:47):
That's exactly where my brain initially went. And for I
don't know if I can speak on behalf of Dave Portnoy.
I'm pretty sure his ex girlfriends knew because he's been
very public that they're legally separated, but they're not a
ficial divorced. And I think the reason why they're not
is because it was super complicated financially, So it feels
like one of those things they've just kicked down the road.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
But I don't quote me on that.

Speaker 15 (29:10):
I mean, if you're David, if you're paying Dave Fortnoy,
you're dating for a reason.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
So all right, what's your name? By the way, what
neighborhood you waking up with?

Speaker 16 (29:18):
Me?

Speaker 15 (29:18):
And Bailey?

Speaker 2 (29:19):
And thanks for the call Bailey.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
You know at least Dave Fortnoy as a rider die
Celtics fan and the Knicks lost last night.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
Hi, you're on the Morning.

Speaker 8 (29:27):
I just wanted to weigh in on the tips in
the Morning thing. That's financial support of event.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
You got it? That's me, my gal? What do you
have for me?

Speaker 8 (29:37):
Yeah, so it's not actually me. My dad and my
mom they made an agreement that my dad would pay
her six hundred bucks every month for the rest of
their lives after their marriage ended, and I think I
think that was the right thing to do. I mean,
he financially supported her for over twenty years, she didn't

(30:00):
eat a job, and then suddenly he kind of laid
it on her. But they weren't going to be together anymore,
and it kind of left her in a really bad place.
And then when he got remarried, his new wife was
not happy about that at all at all?

Speaker 2 (30:17):
Did he maintain it even though she wasn't unhappy?

Speaker 8 (30:19):
But she wasn't happy, No, she because they made the
mutual agreement out of you know, respect for each other
before he got remarried. There was no paperwork that said
that he had to do it. So when his new
wife cut it off, it was cut off unfortunately.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
So everything okay on your front?

Speaker 8 (30:40):
Oh yeah, I'm twenty seven, okay, which which not on
my my problem anymore.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
What's your name? What neighborhood you in?

Speaker 8 (30:49):
My name is Hannah and I'm from the Southloman area.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
Thanks for the call, Hannah.

Speaker 3 (30:53):
Varying opinions coming up in three minutes of finances. By
the way, is the keyword that you're going to need
to win the Alex Warren tickets coming up next in Ohio?

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Because you're waking up with Tiff in the morning on
Kiss one O seven to one, Good morning.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
If you've got the keyword that I mentioned earlier in
the show for the Alex Warren tickets, you can start
dialing right now five to win three seven four nine
one seven one collar ten. Good luck He's come to
Brady later on this year after selling out Bogart's pretty
an inten sellout a couple of days ago. So excited
for you to get those tickets. Let's pop over to

(31:30):
one of our talkbacks. We were in the midst of
talking about financial obligations once you break up with someone
you know. There's this clip going viral of Dave Portnoi
saying that his ex still has one hundred percent access
to his bank accounts because he trusts her and feels
like they make a good partner, a good team in
that sense. But the internet reviews and even Cincinnati's reaction

(31:54):
is like, how can you move on with someone else
if your ex is still in your bank account?

Speaker 2 (31:59):
Which I understand.

Speaker 5 (32:00):
I think it is absolutely weird to financially support an
X or anybody that you were with now if you
owe them money, I think it's okay to pay them off,
or if there's kids involved, to be able to give
them the lives that you guys had.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
When you guys were together, Yes.

Speaker 5 (32:17):
But not supporting them entirely, absolutely not.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
Thank you for the talk back with TIF. It's an
alternative way to get in touch. If I am in
the midst of using the phone and talking and I'm
on the air, but you still want to comment, like quick, quick,
that's a great way to do it. Good point on
that if there are no kids involved, how does one
arrive at closure and moving on to the next chapter
if they're of their life some you know, people are different,

(32:43):
all right?

Speaker 2 (32:44):
I have one more open phone, like, do you want it?
Do you want to go to the show? Caller ten?

Speaker 3 (32:48):
If you've got the keyword, hopefully you have a little
hintin as to what we were talking about. Five one, three, seven,
four nine, one oh seven to one.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
Good luck.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
You're waking up with in the morning on Kiss one
o seven to one.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
I love that song as Shanti good morning in I'm
hoping you have a keyword for me finances. Congratulations your
caller ten, you got the keyword. You're going to see
Alex Warren awesome? Have you seen him yet? Have you
seen him on social?

Speaker 6 (33:14):
No?

Speaker 3 (33:15):
Okay, I'm excited to introduce you. I think you look
up the song ordinary. I think you'll enjoy it.

Speaker 15 (33:19):
Or marry Yeah, I will.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
What's your name with neighborhood? You waking up with?

Speaker 1 (33:23):
Man?

Speaker 2 (33:24):
My name's Tiffany and I'm from New Richmond, Tistany. Thanks
for listening to tiff in the morning.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
Of course we were talking about the bank account thing
with Dave Portnoy.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
What's your quick thought on that?

Speaker 15 (33:34):
No, I think that's a third like I would definitely
have issues with it all around, Like for sure.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
Well, thank you for your input.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
We didn't find one Cincinnati in this morning that was
on the other side. So if you are like, wait
a minute, no, my ex is still financially supporting me
and everyone seems to be okay with it, shoot me
a message.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
I'd be curious.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
I'm at the tiff to F's potter like the Wizard
to connect one on one if you took an l
on these Alex Warren tickets. Even if you're on the
go tomorrow, are you traveling for Memorial Day weekend? Are
you gonna be driving somewhere? I will still have a
pair for you around eight thirty. If you want to
set a reminder to listen to TIF in the morning,
you can always do that on the iHeartRadio app when

(34:16):
you search kiss one oh seven one all right, coming
up three minutes from now. After anxiety, I have the
three things you need to know to get your day started.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
In Sincy. Our girl is a lawyer. I'll have that
in more next.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
Yeah, when you need to know she's got you. It's
three things with TIF. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
We're just before nine o'clock.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
At nine oh five, I have your first chance of
the day to win one thousand dollars. So don't go farm.
Shut'll come in handy. As we head into the three
day weekend, let's start off with Sam Hubbard. I did
rip this interview from WLWT. As we prepare for another
Bengal season in the upcoming months, we will do so
without Sam Hubbard.

Speaker 10 (34:55):
I had opportunities to play elsewhere, keep going, but I
really want to capitalize on this unique opportunity to have
to have grown up here and played one uniform.

Speaker 7 (35:05):
And retire here. Go out.

Speaker 10 (35:06):
Last play in my career was a touchdown. I well
knew that after I got injured that was my last
play and there was emotional special getting that game ball
in the locker room after that game and celebrating with
teammates Ted. You know, I was spiking the ball with
Ted out on the field.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
He that game.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
It was against the Titans, right, he got like a
two year pass from Joe Burrow and ended up or
at least maybe a two point is against the Tennessee Titans, though,
so we will miss him this year. Second in three
Things You Need to Know what, congratulations to Kimberly Kardashian.
After six years, forty eight weeks and sixteen hours per.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
Week, she has passed the bar exam.

Speaker 12 (35:44):
But it's an absolute honor to stand here today, not
just his mentors.

Speaker 7 (35:50):
But as witness.

Speaker 12 (35:50):
Is one of the most inspiring legal.

Speaker 15 (35:53):
Journeys we've ever seen.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
She had a little impromptu surprise graduation party. It looked
like in a home setting. And I love this for Kim.
I love it.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
It says here, it says my girl is a lawyer.
I yes, I have the best advice for women in business.
Get your phone ass.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Up and work.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
All right. Lastly, and three things you need to Know.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
Speaking of work, Miley Cyrus sat down with Zane Lowe
as her album is getting ready to come out next Friday,
and talked about why she isn't touring with this album.

Speaker 4 (36:27):
That's all I want to create. This film is the
film is my way of touring. That's why I'm putting
into theaters because it's something you can.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Watch night after night after night, and you.

Speaker 4 (36:35):
Get a discover and you get to feel like you're
a part of a performance. But I don't have to,
you know, tax myself in that way.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
Well, she's got those vocal problems, right, I forget it
starts with an R. So I don't think we'll get
the Miley tour. However, we will get a new single.
I have a feeling this is going to come out tomorrow.
In fact, I'm hearing that this song, easy Lover, was
originally intended for Cowboy Carter with Beyonce and never made
the album.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
I can see why.

Speaker 3 (37:13):
Even though the clip was littled in the janky side,
I could see why that wouldn't have fit on Cowboy Carter.

Speaker 2 (37:18):
But we'll get it.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
From Miley maybe tomorrow. That is three things you need
to know for the twenty second of May. Your chance
to win a grand heading into Memorial Weekend at nine oh.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
Five because you're waking up fifth in the morning morning.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
If you've gone through a breakup or a divorce, do
you think you could successfully move on to the next
person in your life if you were still financially taking
care of your ex. You're walking into the daily debrief
every day right around this time, I choose one of
the bigger topic of conversations that we had throughout the
four hours, and we revisit it, giving you a chance

(37:52):
to get caught up, especially if you're just starting off
your day, and sometimes we visit talkbacks or calls I've
recorded that we didn't get to in the moment. Kind
of a leftover situation story came out and you might
have already even seen this clip where Dave Portnoy said
that his wife still has one hundred percent access to
their bank accounts.

Speaker 11 (38:13):
True, your ex wife have access to your bank account?

Speaker 7 (38:15):
Yeah, I told you I trust her. Implicitly, I beg you.

Speaker 3 (38:19):
And you'll be able to go back and get caught
up on the podcast as too far as what was
his justification for that, But you know that's the celebrity rule, right.
There's a lot of money involved in Dave Portnoy's bank account.
What we do on my show is we take that
stuff and bring it to our own kitchen tables here
in Cincinnati on more. You know, common level, Do you
think that you could move on if you were still

(38:41):
financially supporting your ex?

Speaker 2 (38:43):
What about the new partner? That you're with.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
We got a lot of varying opinions. We'll start with
our talkbacks. Alternative way to contribute, by the way.

Speaker 16 (38:50):
Go go. The internalizingstagony is Cincinnati is something else. Dave
port Noy is doing exactly what has required of him,
both and Morley, because everybody is missing the point where
he says, she helped him build that and with and
have the expectation that they have to go and live
off of pennies after they helped build something cool.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
No No, I loved that talk back with Saif a
take that we didn't get until this hour in the morning.
It took a long time for someone to speak up
on that side of things. The microphone is in the
top right hand corner. If you too feel compelled, you'll
see uh that talkback feature. I often reference it. You

(39:35):
made a great point on that, gal right. If she
helped build the barstool sports is, she's still entitled to
the revenue of it. Maybe not legally, but that's Dave
Portnoy's moral obligation.

Speaker 11 (39:46):
You know.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
It also reminds me of Bezos and his ex as well.
She helped him build reminds me of that television so
Loot on Apple TV.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
You know you gotta get caught up on the podcast.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
At some point today if you want to go in
here the opinion search TIF Tiff.

Speaker 2 (40:02):
In the morning on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (40:04):
I know it's not going to be a day of
maybe out and about walking around and enjoying the sun
since it's cold, but pop your headphones in. We'll be
with you throughout the long weekend. Happy Thursday.
