Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Morning, Hun, kiss hi, good morning the morning.
Speaker 3 (00:05):
When was the last time you were responsible for entertaining
someone outside of your child?
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Maybe you have to do that every day, and if
that is the case, I feel for you.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
But think back to when you were responsible to make
sure that someone had a really good time and a
really good experience, because I'm going through that right now.
My brother Max is in town. He'll join the show
later on and he's up here. If you had missed
us talking about this earlier, you can get caught up
on the podcast. But there was a golf tournament at
the Kenwood Country Club, so he's like, I'm coming in.
(00:37):
I'm going to stay for a couple of days. I'm
going to stay at your apartment. And the wheels are
turning in my head as soon as you have said that,
like what are we going to do? How am I
going to present Cincinnati to someone that isn't familiar with
the area. What are the things that you do when
someone comes to visit you or if you have to
entertain someone. My typical and I don't know if I'm
alone in this, but my typical is I'd like to
(00:58):
walk around and have a very various beverages, kind of
depending on where we are what we're doing. But he
asked me, He's like, do do you have an aquarium?
Speaker 2 (01:06):
I'm like, I.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
Think most of the time I just see the inside
of a bar. But yeah, I think we have an aquarium.
If you want to go to that, we can go
to the aquarium. I really should have brought Max to
the zoo because it is world famous. It just didn't
end up, you know, happening. If we had maybe an
extra day or so, we could have gone and done
the zoom. But I usually show them. I think there
(01:27):
are three main pieces of Cincinnati that you have to
show them, the OTR Finley area, then at some point
you've got to make your way down to the banks,
and then from there. I always show them my neighborhood
of Mount Adams because I'm super proud of it. But
what are the things that you have to show someone
or what do you do with them when they come
and visit?
Speaker 2 (01:45):
You talk back with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
But we did go see the F one movie, which
will debrief later on in the show. Ten out of
ten though coming up, while I have you at six
fifty the three things you need to know to get
your day started in Since we have a partial Ditty verdict,
I'll explain what that means and more coming up next.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Don't go far. Good morning, Lynn.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
You need to know she's got you.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
It's three things with tip on when I was seven,
we could know Diddy's fate here by this afternoon, maybe
even during this show.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Give me a hot second.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
We're just before seven o'clock on the second of July.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
I don't know who paid off.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
Mother Nature, but she is giving us a beautiful gift Today, sunshine,
we'll see eighties, lower humidity.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Enjoy it.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Humidity starts to kind of bump for today and tomorrow,
but overall, I'm not complaining. It's gonna be sunny and nice.
God bless America in my bathing suit this weekend. All right,
Before we get to Ditty, let's start off with Joe Mixon.
The boyfriend of Joe Mixon's sister. Really, Lamont Brewer, do
you remember this story. It happened back in March of
twenty and twenty three. Joe Mixon's sister's boyfriend was convicted
(03:00):
of a shooting outside of Mixon's home in Anderson. We
talked a good amount about this a couple of years ago,
kind of putting a little bit of a bow on
the conversation, it all kind of came together. He was
sentenced to sixty months in jail for his involvement in
that shooting that happened outside of Joe Mixon's home. So
I wanted to give you an update on that. One
second and three things you need to know. Let's chit chat, ditty, Okay.
(03:22):
So the headlines were coming out yesterday. First thing I
see is verdict reached in ditty, And I also felt like,
for the very first time, my heart was beating fast
for this trial. I mean, yes, there were a lot
of things that we covered, a lot of gruesome details
that we covered, But for the first time.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
I was like, this is it.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
We could learn the fate of one of the biggest
cases of our generation. Where we're sitting right now is
that the jury has reached the verdict on counts two
through five. Most of the all of those are really
about the sex, trafficking, transportation, and coercion. The one big
charge that the jury is hung on at this point
is that rico charge, that criminal enterprise charge, that's the
(04:03):
one that could put Ditty away for life. Now, this
is a federal case, so we don't have any insight
into the courtroom. It's only what reporters report to us.
You go to different news outlets. I think they're reporting
different things. That Diddy was very somber in the court room,
or you could go over to this outlet and.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Say that his spirits were high. We don't know. We
don't know.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
But the jury sent a note back to the judge saying, hey,
we're good on two through five, and that was about
a day and a half of deliberation. Usually when a
verdict comes back that fast, I think probably guilty, right,
But the judge said, you need to go back in there.
Now we know from the Karen retrial, which I covered
that's a big one up in Boston, that there's a
very good chance that they could mistrial Diddy. I genuinely,
(04:48):
in my heart, don't think that that's going to be
the case. I think that they're going to reach a verdict.
I just don't know if that's going to be guilty
or not. They're deadlocked on this one. So if you're
wondering what's going on here, the verdict the street.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Sheet rather is fairly straightforward.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
On two through five, jurors will find Ditty guilty or
not guilty of two counts of sex trafficking involving Cassie,
and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution that
involved Cassie, and then the same thing for the Jane
Doe that was involved in that case, the RICO charge.
(05:23):
That's the one where they have to find whether those
eight qualifying crimes speak to Ditty. Kidnapping, arson, bribery, witness tampering,
forced labor, sex trafficking, and transportation for purpose of prostitution
using a criminal enterprise. I will debrief you as soon
as it comes down. Lastly, in three things you need
to know this morning, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey were
(05:43):
spotted in Ohio, Okay. When I saw the headline, I said, no,
tell me that she's not anywhere near Cincy. They were
spotted at a bar in Chargren Falls, which I had
to fully Google map, exactly three hours and thirty seven
minutes away from Kenwood up in Cleveland. I'm assuming that
they might be home or stopping by the parents' house
(06:04):
for the Fourth of July holiday. Who's not having a
sugar cookie with that thick layer of frosting at a
barbecue at their parents' house.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
I would like to go.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
In the pictures, she looked like she was having a
good time.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
She was, you know, Taylor is known for being very
social and very engaging with the people around her, and
that feels as that was the energy I was getting
from that photo. All right, that is three things you
need to know for the second of July coming up
at seven point thirty. I'm stamping your Sincy Summer passport
with a pair of tickets to the Omnimax for you
(06:34):
to use throughout your Fourth of July holiday. Best way
to keep listening to Tiff in the morning is by
searching kiss one oh seval one on the iHeartRadio app.
While you're there, I recommend leaving me at talkback with Tiff.
If you've never done it, maybe today's the day open
microphone free rain for you. The tiny little microphone is
in the top right hand corner next to the play button.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Just hold that down. You have thirty seconds to say
good morning.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
Huh kiss and good morning. My brother Max is in town.
We were chit chat about this yesterday. We're gonna share
stories and swap stories about scaring your siblings and just
core memories.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
Good morning, Max, Good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
I had prompted him before this and said, if you
don't talk into the microphone loud enough, I will shut
that microphone off.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
So we're here, We're close. We're out here, close and personal.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Before we get to Uhi.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
Scaring your sibling, your You're in general thoughts about Cincinnati.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
I've enjoyed it. I love the city. It's fun, entertaining,
lots to do, has that big city feel, but I said,
feels a little quieter, try and joy.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Yeah, you were admiring the view, which I'll post a
picture of if you are not familiar with the view
from my apartment. You were admiring the view yesterday and
said it was super lovely from Mount Adams.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
Yeah, I love the view. Okay, incredible.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
So Max is in town for a golf tournament up
at Kenwood. The people want to know how you did
in that golf tournament very quickly, because golf is your
entire identity in personal and I don't have time for
it on the show this morning.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
But just loosely.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
Golf is my life. I love it. I finished one
shot short of qualifying for the US Amitar Sectionals down
in Atlanta, so unfortunate to lose by one, but learned
a lot and had a great time and had the
support of you to come out there and follow me around.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Did I follow the golf rules?
Speaker 4 (08:20):
You did? You did a great job, did I? You did?
Speaker 2 (08:23):
You should have seen Max on the phone with me
earlier going to Kenwood Country Club. He's like, you know,
and I don't golf. I play field hockey.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
And he said, gingerly, basically, keep your mouth shut and
stay off the grass and wear a shirt with a
collar on it.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
And you did all of the above I did.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
I really did show up and show up okay.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
So, like any millennial family, we have a blended one
at that at best, right, most millennials have blended family.
So Max and I have the same mom and different dads.
In growing up, I would go and visit him in
Florida where he grew up. I grew up in Massachusetts,
day he grew up in Florida with his dad, and
on school breaks and holidays and such, I would go
(09:06):
and visit him and most of the time I would
do that, I would surprise you to the point of
I got I would understand why you have like left
over fear from.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
That jumping out of a box. And when we walked
in the front door, Tiff jumps out of a box
and scares us. When we're kids, Yeah, how old are you?
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Maybe like ten?
Speaker 3 (09:25):
I mean maybe maybe nine, maybe even I don't know,
somewhere nine or ten years old. So we didn't necessarily
grow up in the same household. But anytime I had
the chance to go and visit Max, of course I
would do that. But I found it must have been
a box from like a refrigerator or something.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
It's a pretty big box.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
I don't know what where do we get this box? No,
you don't put a you don't put a refrigerator in
a box. No, maybeeah, sure, I don't know. I don't
remember we got this box. But I stuffed myself in there,
and I don't know. You tell me. I was sitting
inside the box. So we wrapped it up.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
We walked in. Mom said, go open the box. There's
there's a present, there's a surprise in there, And sure
enough comes busting out of a box, ready to go
surprising us. We were scared, but at the same time
we were excited to see you.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
Surprise. Yeah, there were a multiple time. I think that
was like my thing is that I like to scare
you guys.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
Yeah that was.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
But there are so many core memories that I think create,
like siblings in childhood. So if you have one of those,
feel free to talk back with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app.
The microphone is in the top right hand corner. Sibling
is the keyword that you're gonna need to win. The
Omnimax tickets to stamp your Sincy Summer passport coming up
right around seven point thirty.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
This morning, so don't go far. In the meantime, we're
commercial free. Good morning.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on a
kiss one oh seven to one, where swappin' shibbling stories.
Because if you didn't know this, my brother Max is
visiting me in town from Atlanta.
Speaker 5 (10:53):
Surprise visit from my sister who's out of state and
I haven't seen in over a year. We just I
was speechless when she was standing there. I couldn't believe
it's OK. I still almost cry when I think about it.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
I love that's awesome.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Thank you for the talk back with tip. You two
can join in.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
The microphone is in the top right hand corner of
the iHeartRadio app. You just hold that down if you're
just walking in to the show for the first time.
I had scared my I was saying that my brother, Max,
like I said, is visiting me, and I used to
scare him anytime that I would go and visit him,
I would hide like I would hide in a box.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Would you like to contribute to the show.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
You have to bring the box.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
You have to bring to bring the microphone to your
mouth to contribute to the show.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
Max Fair, we're here, Tiff.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Scary.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Microphones are new for people that have never been on
the radio. That's why I talk for a living and
Max gulfs for a living.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
Tell the people what you do quickly.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
Oh, I work for the Christian at company. Uh, specifically
for Titleist on the golf ball marketing team.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Any guy listening right now are just their ears just
perked up because Max works for the company Titleists.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Okay, give me three minutes.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
I'm going to stay up your since summer passport with
the keyword sibling.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Your chance to win tickets to the Omnimax because.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning on kiss
one seven one collared ten.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
You could start dialing if you want to go to
the omnimax and you had the keyword that I had
just mentioned a minute or two ago. Five win three seven,
four nine one seven one. My brother Max is visiting
me from Atlanta, Sir something. I'm surprised that I'm going
to open up the microphone to this, but is there
something that Cincinnatians should know about me that they don't
know about me?
Speaker 2 (12:37):
That you know about me as my brother?
Speaker 4 (12:39):
You just recently picked up water coloring and you are
an inspiring artist.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Honest thoughts on the water coloring. I love it, really,
I love it.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
I'm a huge fan.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Should I quit my day job?
Speaker 4 (12:53):
There's hope for sure.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
We went into that art store in OTR yesterday and
I upgraded my water coloring. If you're a visual person,
I just put up the pictures at the tiff to
F's Potter like the Wizard. Okay, hopefully maybe have a
little hint as to what the keyword is based off
the conversation we're just kind of having five one three, seven,
four nine one oh seven one. I do have one
more open phone line. If you want the Omnimax tickets,
(13:17):
I'll hook you up here. In the meantime, we're still
commercial free with it.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Beyonce, you're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
Kiss, I'm good morn in. And my brother Max is
visiting me, so he's in studio. If you happen to
be just walking into the show for the first time
today and I happen to be the first voice that
you're hearing out loud, allow me to be the first
to say good morning to you.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Thanks for popping in.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
I went and saw where we went and saw the
Formula one movie last night. Overall Fox one to ten,
Max ten other time. You're not an F one uh fan?
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Though?
Speaker 4 (13:47):
Not really?
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Okay, so I want to be now now right, I'm interested.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
That's what got me hooked on F one initially was
the first season of Drive to Survive on Netflix. A
great place to start to get your feet wet in
the Formula one world. I think they have at least
five seasons out, so as a non F one fan
one to ten on the movie just as like a
general consumer, because there's a lot of racing in there a.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
Lot of racing, but a lot of great scenes, and
you know the Brad Pitt fans, So I love that
movie did really well. What did you think about brem
did great in the role, because were of my favorite
movies by him.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
I think I read a stat that this was Brad
Pitt's biggest opening ever globally.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
Crazy.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
That man's been in the business for like what four
or five decades? Yeah, Ni, as an F one fan,
I don't know why this surprised me. But all of
the popular Formula one drivers were in the movie and
it would make obviously it would make sense. Lando Norris,
Charles Leclair, Carlos Signs, Lancetrol, Alonso is in there.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Who else?
Speaker 3 (14:51):
I say, obviously Lewis Hamilton, but Lewis Hamilton has a
producer credit on it. The team principals were in there
as well, and a wolf made.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
An appearance like they must.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
I'm super curious on how they filmed it and in
which seasons they filmed. I could probably go back and
google it, but they definitely had to film that movie
during a legitimate F one race. So I bet Brad
Pitt was going to all these different countries and filming
in all of them.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
Right, Yeah, that's what you'd have to think.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
What was your thoughts on his driving? On Brad Pitt's
driving amazing, But how much of that do you think
was real?
Speaker 4 (15:26):
I feel like some of it might have been real,
some of it might have been staged and like racing
simulators talked about that yesterday. Maybe are using that a
little bit fo for the movie. I'm quite sure.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
What was the other thing?
Speaker 3 (15:37):
Oh, the soundtrack was really good as well. We had
been playing different clips and different songs in the World
premieres on New Music Friday, So I highly recommend going
to check out the soundtrack and then if you do
want to go to the movies, it was like two hours,
two and a half hours, so I would go to that.
Also coming out tonight is the new Jurassic Park movie
as well, and then next weekend we've got super Man
(16:00):
and I'm going to get you into the private screening
for Cincinnatians for that around eight thirty.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Good morning, Glenn.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
You need to know she's got you. It's three things
with TIF.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
There's a concert announcement in Cincy. You probably heard about this,
but I'll make sure you get locked in or just
before eight o'clock a thirty. I'm standing stamping your Sincy
summer passport with a pair of tickets to the special
screening of Superman Omnimax because some of it was filmed
at Union Terminal.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Don't go farm.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
Before we get to the concert announcement. Let's touch base
with Ditty because the big news yesterday and what I
felt like for the first time, like there was life
in the case. Granted we'd covered a lot of details,
some of them grewesome, especially in the very beginning with Cassie.
But when I saw that headline on social that a
verdict had been reached in the Ditty trial, I said,
this is it.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
This is a big moment.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
This is probably one of the bigger cases of our
generation at this time. So the thing is that the
jury's reached a verdict in counts two through five, which
essentially are the transportation and prostitution and coercion charges for
the Jane Doe and for Cassie.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Those came back within a day and a half.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
Kinda is leading me to think that maybe that they
have come to a conclusion that he is guilty on
those guys. This is speculation. This is a federal case.
We're not in the courtroom, none of it. No cameras
are in the courtroom. I don't know, right. So the
jury's like, listen, we've got two through five. We are
hung on count one, which is that big racketeering charge
(17:32):
Diddy is charged with. That he could be spending the
rest of his life behind bars depending on how the
sentencing and whatnot goes. They say to the judge, we
can't figure it out. The judge is like, you gotta
figure it out.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
You have to go.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
Back in there.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
I think the odds of them declaring a mistrial on
count one for racketeering are very very low, but you
never know. We could have a Diddy verdict later on
today when there's more on that one.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
I will keep you posted.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
Second and three things you need to know this morning.
You might have already heard about a concert called Tacos
in Tequila. I think they might have just finalized the venue,
happening at Thomas Moore which is in Crestview on October fourth. Guys,
the lineup for this is so stacked. To get ready
for your millennial heart to melt on the dance floor.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Let's go.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
What I know you want to sing? It in your
car right now. Little John is said to be there.
We've got Soldier Boy, Superman.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
I mean we're talking. Even Bubba Sparks is going to
be there.
Speaker 6 (18:41):
Right well, well.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
Miss I'm dying, and I mean the lineup has more
to come. But I would say one of my favorite
secret artists that's going to be on this is pretty
Ricky Baby.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Who hitting Jimmy.
Speaker 6 (19:07):
If you crab from me, not gonna make these bi
week Just grab um.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
I mean, are you kidding me? Not me and you
out on the dance floor. I don't even think they might.
They might as well not even put chairs at that
concert venue because I won't be sitting. Tickets are on
sale now. October fourth is the date of the show.
And then, lastly, in three Things, you'll see the headline
that Taylor Swift was in Ohio yesterday about three hours
and thirty seven minutes exactly from Kenwood up to Cleveland
(19:36):
at a state restaurant there socializing with Travis. I'm assuming
home maybe to visit Dona Kelsey, maybe for a little
Fourth of July holiday, visit some famine friends. That is
three things you need to know. For the second of July.
I mentioned it earlier, but I'm stamping her since the
summer passport with tickets to the special Cincinnati screening of
Superman at eight thirty.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Good Morning, Good Morning, Wow.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
I love that song. I knew every single word to it,
and you know what, I hope it's putting you in
a good mood as well, because it feels as if
it's a Friday. It's not quite there yet, but it
sort of feels like that. As we head into fourth
of July weekend, Mother nature has blessed us with beautiful weather,
and I hope to return the favor and bless you
(20:20):
with some good music. At Kiss one oh seven one
is commercial free for the rest of the hour, and
in fact, as you go about your holiday and travels
and staycations and whatnot, a reminder you cannot only listen
to our music, but you can participate in the show
and be a part of the tiff in the morning
community by searching Kiss one oh seven one on the
free iHeartRadio app Okay Listen. I made a mistake in
(20:43):
Three Things You Need to Know. I got so hype
about the Tacos and Tequila festival lineup that I accidentally
misspoke on the venue and thank.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
You for calling. Hi, you're on the air. What is it?
Speaker 7 (20:54):
It's Thomas Moore Stadium in Florence, not Thomas Moore University
and krespy.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Okay, good.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
Thank god someone called and corrected me, because when I
googled it, I felt like my brain was not processing
the information correctly.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
So thank god you call it.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
It is all good.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
Hey, you're doing a great job.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
Appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
What's your name, Kevin? How do you feel about reversing
into a parking spot?
Speaker 2 (21:16):
Always? I just did it? Go Kevin? Nah, Kevin, thank
you so much. You should drive a truck.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
If you drive a truck, it's like part of it.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
If you've listened to this show before, you know that
that is my biggest ick on planet Earth. And it
all started from this one story that I'm going to
tell you give me three minutes, and you know what Max,
while we're here, Max is my brother visiting.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
Let's go with the keyword.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
I'm actually I want to go with the phrase I
want to lock in so hard to this that we're
going with the phrase reversing into a parking spot.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
That's what you're gonna need is the key phrase.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
At eight thirty for the Omnimax tickets to see the
Superman movie private screening Cincinnatians next Tuesday, and I'll explain
that story next. You're waking up in the morning, Kiss,
good morning commercial free on Kiss and to ketch up
to speed. My brother Max is visiting Cincinnati for the
(22:15):
first Nope, no no, no, my lie, not the first time,
just the first time this year.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
You're a visual person.
Speaker 3 (22:20):
You can get the tour of what I took him
to and I guess what he looks like at the
tiff to F's Potter like the Wizard.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
Good morning, Max, Good morning, first time on the radio.
Speaker 4 (22:29):
Thoughts quick time, a little nervous, but it's gone great.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
Walk again.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
All right, We've already got phone calls coming in. Good morning,
you're on the air.
Speaker 8 (22:35):
Yeah, hey, I'm looking you to you currently online. It
sounds like your brother is in house and I want
to readdress your perking issues with the way seat.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
Park Oh my god, we absolutely should revisit that. I
am so glad that you remember to bring that up.
What's your name?
Speaker 1 (22:57):
My name is Todd, Todd.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
What are your thoughts? Are un reversing into a spark
a parking spot.
Speaker 8 (23:03):
Yeah, so you only addressed half of the parking equation.
You didn't ever address leaving the parking spot. So how
do you get out of the parking spot?
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Will you park? Well? You know that.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
Correct when you pull straight through, when you pull in,
you have to back out. But when you reverse and
you pull straight out? So is that are you trying
to get me to admit that backing into a parking
spot is a good idea?
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Is that what you're trying to do this morning?
Speaker 8 (23:30):
Exactly? I made peek engineer and logistically it recurs because
you can fully see what you're doing of this, and
then when you're pulling out you have full view capability
without some big STUV blocking your view.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
I'm so happy that you called me this morning. I
appreciate you very much.
Speaker 8 (23:53):
I totally tried with your brother on this topic.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
Well let's we love it.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
Thanks for the support.
Speaker 8 (24:00):
All right, this was the first time I've ever done this.
This is totally weird. Thanks you guys. I enjoyed listening
to years ago.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
I appreciate its me that answers the phone literally every day.
I mean, you just direct line to tip in the morning,
So don't be nervous. Max I'm gonna allow you to
defend the male gender here in a hot second, but
I would This story was one that had gone so
viral in Cincinnati because when I visited Max in Atlanta
February of two years ago, you were touring me all
(24:29):
around the city and every single time we went somewhere,
you would park that Genesis that you had.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Right, it's a genesis, Yes, what was the car? Gis coop? Okay,
genesis coop.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
He would reverse into every single parking spot on the planet.
And I it was in that moment that I realized
that it was giving me the ick so bad.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
That I can't.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
I can't, I can't be, I can't, I cannot do
the reversing into the parking spot.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
Anti back, I'm an anti.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
Back in person in most of Cincinnati hated me for that.
I mean, I still to this day get people that
comment on that, and you're not going to convince me.
But if you would like to defend the male gender,
go for it.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
First off, shout out to the caller that came in
to support me. I love that, Todd. I love that.
Shout out Todd, thank you. But yeah, it's one of
those things guys just do. It's just we're just a
manly thing to do, and it's just cool. You want
to show off your car, you back it in. You
get to see the front and no one wants to
see your trunk. No one wants to see the rear
of your car. They want to see the front part
of your car, especially if you have a cool car,
(25:31):
sports car, truck. I get the truck position. You know,
pulling out with the truck is a little easier with
that bed you can't really see sure, just you know,
purchasing a four runner recently, I have, you know, a
little bit bigger car in a truck type suv, it's
easier to get in and out if you're back in max.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
None of this is convincing me that pulling in reversing
into a parking spot is better than pulling in.
Speaker 4 (25:53):
We'll get you to the dark side eventually.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
I'm never going to think that reversing into a parking
spot is better. And no matter how many of you
listening right now, I bet cold beer guy is going
to leave me a talkback. He's a he's a truck driver,
drives beer around all day. I bet that man can
reverse an eighteen wheeler I'm still not gonna think it's better,
do you. What I picked up out of that max
(26:14):
is that you thought it was just cool to reverse
into a parking spot, So you're approving my point.
Speaker 4 (26:20):
It's also one of those things if you're holding up
other cars in the parking lot, I think you know
that that's the worst, right But like, if you can
get in and out and you can back in pretty quickly,
you're you're more efficient than you should be a back
in person. But if you can't back in, then you
probably should stick to just pulling in the right.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
Way, reverse into parking spot. It's the key phrase. I'm
going to allow you to leave me talkback. Phone line
is locked in five one, three, seven, four nine, one
oh seven one. Let's see if anyone in this city
can convince me otherwise, but I doubt it. Good morning,
you're waking up with Tiff in the morning on kiss
one oh seven one. The defense is very low right
(26:55):
now on reversing into a parking spot.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Good morning, you're on the air. Good morning, Hey, how
are we doing?
Speaker 5 (27:01):
Hey?
Speaker 4 (27:02):
So I kind of agree with your brother.
Speaker 8 (27:04):
So I'm a car guy myself.
Speaker 7 (27:06):
I know I got an acar R SX and then
I got me a shatty camaro and I like to
park away from everybody, but I also like to reverse backup.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
So not only, Aaron, not only are you reversing into
a parking spot, you're reversing into an open, empty lot
into a parking spot.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
That's even worse.
Speaker 7 (27:30):
Well, I mean if there's cars like on the backside
and then like there's no cars in front of them,
I'll back up into that.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
Thanks, Aaron, shout out, shouts Aaron, Max the I'm not buying.
None of that sold me on it. If you're just
walking into the conversation. Reverse into a parking spot, by
the way, is the keyword you're gonna need.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
For the Omnimax tickets to see Superman.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
When I went to visit my brother in Leana, like
two years ago, he reversed into every single parking spot
we went to, yes, every single unnecessarily, and it was
it was then in that moment I decided that it
is the biggest for me.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
So trying to give it.
Speaker 6 (28:07):
Northf from Butler County, r t A calling him, Hey girl,
I'm back in all the time to my parking spots.
I even have to back my big transit bus into
a parking space at work, or my coach I'm sorry,
it's a coach bus into a parking space at work
(28:28):
every day. So back and in. It's not just for guys,
it's cool for girls too. I'm a woman.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
Well she got cut off there, but you know what
it's giving this energy right here, and this is what
it's really good.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
You're waking up in the morning.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
Collar ten.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
You can start dialing if you've got the keyword for
the Omnimax tickets to see Superman five when three seven
four nine, one oh seven one. Sorry, running a little
late today. The studio is busy. My brother's in town.
Nothing runs on time when family's in town. I'm not
convinced about reversing it to a parking spot. And these
now we have two boys in studio trying to come much.
Speaker 9 (29:15):
Your lies or just you're been lying to your audience
all these years. She in the morning will pull straight
through because she gets here at an ungodly hour. So
you pull straight through, so you take all the advantages
of backing up without actually backing up.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
You're a fraud.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
Potter, You're a fraud.
Speaker 3 (29:29):
The Voice of scotsloan from a seven hundred WLW.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
There's a difference between them all through in the back
in we have two of you reverse in.
Speaker 9 (29:40):
Yeah, I back in because I've had my friend and
almost taken off a number of times people looking through
the love.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
I think there's a difference between reversing in and pulling
through and just pulling.
Speaker 9 (29:50):
Difference, But you get all the advantages without actually going
I can't.
Speaker 10 (29:55):
Because you're waking up with fIF in the morning on
just one oh seven one good morning.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
I'm hoping you have a for me. Yeah, girl, you.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Got and that wasn't even a word, it was a phrase,
and you got it. I'm stamping your Sincy summer passport.
You're going to the special screening of Superman at Union
Terminal and Imax or Omnimax rather.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
Oh that sounds fun.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
What's your name? What neighborhood you wake it up with?
Men Ida in Middletown, Aida. Thanks for listening to Tiff
in the morning.
Speaker 5 (30:21):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
Now, I will take these tickets from you if you
give me the wrong answer.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
But do you reverse into a parking spot or not?
Speaker 1 (30:29):
Sometimes?
Speaker 7 (30:30):
But I do have a backup camera.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
Well, girl, I mean Modern twenty twenty five. I oh,
I too have a backup camera. It's not that I
don't reverse in if needed. I only reverse in the
when necessary.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
Does that make sense?
Speaker 8 (30:42):
That's me?
Speaker 3 (30:43):
Okay, thank you, thank you for defending my position. That's
what I'm going with. Oh wait, I forgot to turn
your mic on.
Speaker 4 (30:50):
Go ahead, god Ida. Shout out to Ida.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
Shout out to Ida.
Speaker 4 (30:53):
The women are on board too. This is not just
a men thing, this is this is both genders. Everyone's
on board.
Speaker 2 (31:01):
Max. I feel alone on this island, Tiff.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
We'll get some practice you get before we leave today
in the parking novel. We'll get you going all.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
Right, coming up, you took an l on these tickets.
John John's gonna hook up with the same thing later
on this afternoon on your way home. Coming up. Two songs.
Speaker 3 (31:17):
So now I'll dive into the three things you need
to know to get your day started. And since we
could have a Diddy verdict, I'll have that more.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
When you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
It's three good morning, eighteen years ago today. This one
thing was released, and you use it every single day.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
Try to get a guest in your head.
Speaker 3 (31:40):
We're just before at nine o'clock, before we get to
that at nine oh five, I have your first chance
to win a thousand bucks.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
I'm going to pay your bills around nine oh five.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
Okay, let's touch base on the Diddy trial first, because
I think there's a really good chance that we could
see a verdict in full today. If not, I don't
know what's going to happen with the fourth of July holiday.
The news came out yesterday that the jury had reached
a conclusion on verdicts two through five. Two through five
(32:11):
have to do with the transportation and coercion and what's
the other one.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
I'm blanking on. Oh my god, I've said this a
million times, but my brain is adhd. So it's processing
the four counts.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
Two counts of sex trafficking involving Cassie and Jane Doe,
and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
They have an answer on both of those.
Speaker 3 (32:34):
They haven't come up with an answer on a verdict
for the racketeering.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
That's the big one that.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
Did he carries and that could send him to prison
for a very long time, if not the rest of
his life if sentenced in that direction. When a verdict
comes back that quick in my head. I'm like, m,
they must it must be a yes.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
Now.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
They said to the judge, Hey, we can't. We can't
come up with rico. We can't decide. Judge is like,
you need to get back in there and you need
to figure it out. I don't think there's a chance
that this count one will be a mistrial, don't. I
think the judge is going to push really, really hard.
It's not that we haven't seen the hung jury. I mean,
look at the Karen Reed trial up in Boston. That
was a hung jury. That was a mistrial, and they
(33:17):
went back at it and she was found not guilty.
In the second goal around, we cover that on the show.
We'll see the first count is racketeering conspiracy. In order
to convict Diddy, the jury must find that he agreed
with it with at least one other member of the
Combs enterprise to commit two predicate acts within ten years
of each other. What falls underneath those predicate acts, according
(33:40):
to the jury instruction, are eight qualifying crimes kidnapping, arson, bribery,
witness tampering, forced labor, sex, trafficking, transportation for the purpose
of prostitution, and drug distribution.
Speaker 2 (33:53):
Although I thought that the Arson one was dropped. But anyways,
I'll keep you posting second and three things you need
to Know.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
Oh, you and I are on the same page when
it comes to using this one item every single day.
And it premiered to the world eighteen years ago for
the first time, and that is none other than the iPhone,
launching with a four gigabyte model or an eight gigabyte
(34:22):
model of storage, two megapixel camera, the Safari web browser,
and built in iPod functionality. It sold over two hundred
and seventy thousand units and its first weekend eighteen years
ago the iPhone one. And here I am looking at
my sixteen pro wondering what it's like to only have
four gigs of storage. I think this thing has one
(34:45):
hundred and thirty eight at this point.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
All right.
Speaker 3 (34:47):
Even lastly, in three Things you need to Know this morning,
let's just chat about Coco Goff. I think the world
is going to be a little heartbroken for her because
she ended up taking the l at the Open yesterday
at Wimbledon, rather not the Open. My brain is processing
here it is. She was defeated by a Ukrainian woman
(35:20):
in two sets in the first round of Wimbledon. Which
I think is a pretty big loss for Coco. All right,
that is three things you need to know for the
second of July. If you can lock in, I've got
your chance to win a thousand bucks. I'm sure it'll
come in handy for the fourth of July at nine
oh five. Best way to keep listening is by searching
kiss on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (35:38):
Good Morning.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
You're waking up fifth in the morning, kiss good morning.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
It catch you up to speed.
Speaker 3 (35:43):
My brother Max is visiting me from Atlanta, so you'll
hear the voice of someone new on my show. Good morning, Max,
Good morning. Overall thoughts on Cincinnati. I always like to
give you a little.
Speaker 4 (35:54):
I love it. It's been a great time, short trip, but
I've enjoyed it.
Speaker 3 (35:57):
Okay, eighteen years ago to day, this one thing premiered
that we use every single day, every day, every day,
multiple I'm looking at it right now. It doesn't always
hold a charge, but when you get a new one,
it does hold a charge. And that is none other
than the iPhone, which is wild to think about.
Speaker 4 (36:19):
Crazy.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
It first premiered at four gigabytes or eight gigs of storage.
How much do you have in yours now? Uh, you
have to bring the microphone to your mouth and talk louder.
I warned you about this, Max, I said, I'm gonna
shut your mic off if you don't talk louder.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
He's got It's like talking to a mouse.
Speaker 3 (36:42):
We started this thing at four gigs and eight gigs,
and now mine has to have at least two hundred
and plus.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
I just bought the iPhone sixteen.
Speaker 3 (36:48):
I'm looking at the sixteen one came out eighteen years ago,
which means that almost pretty much every year we've gotten
a new iPhone. Also, the old one had a two
megapixel camera to megapixels Safari web browser?
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Are you a Safari? You use Safari?
Speaker 3 (37:09):
I'm Google all the way, baby, you know it's I
think Android gets a bad rap. I was an Android
user for a hot second in my life, and everyone
knows that the camera and the Android is better. I
use a lot of Google products on my iPhone, Gmail,
Google Maps, You use Apple Maps, don't you?
Speaker 4 (37:26):
Yes?
Speaker 9 (37:27):
I can't.
Speaker 4 (37:29):
I'm a ways guy.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
Got I would say it on Google Photos.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
I tend to use a lot and built in iPod functionality.
Speaker 2 (37:38):
Now it's all wireless.
Speaker 3 (37:41):
It was also the error too, when the iPhone would
give you the charger, the charging brick and a parrot headphones. Yeah,
and now they give you a prayer, not even they're
like you need us, We don't need you.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
Do you remember that for iPhone that you had and
what number you came out of?
Speaker 4 (38:02):
The three gs in middle school? I think I made
that transition from from Android to iPhone three gs. Yeah,
I was nine.
Speaker 3 (38:11):
I can't even remember what number, but I do remember
the back of it was blue. When they started adding colors.
Speaker 4 (38:18):
I see it was How did you know that five color?
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Because I had it to You had the baby blue,
that's right, the baby blue iPhone five C.
Speaker 4 (38:28):
That was one of my favorites.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
I just graduated from the iPhone twelve Mini to upgrade
to the sixteen.
Speaker 4 (38:34):
Yeah, that's a that's a huge upgrade.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
And you know, and it took about one thousand dollars
out of my bank account.
Speaker 4 (38:40):
That just shows the quality though how long they lost
If you really take care of it. I think I
had my XR for six years, five years. Truly take
care of that phone.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
It'll last eighteen years ago today we I mean, life
was changed and we knew it.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
Two hundred and seventy thousand units.
Speaker 3 (38:57):
By the way, it was the first one, so I
couldn't even tell you how many I phones are being
purchased now, but I do know that anytime I go
into the mall, they try.
Speaker 4 (39:04):
To fix it for me.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
In the morning, what's your stance on reversing into a
parking spot? Because if you've been a part of my
show before, you know what mine is, and I'm sure
you can pick up from the tone of my voice.
You're walking into the daily debrief Usually every day right
around this time, I revisit one of the bigger things I.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
Think we talked about in the four hours, giving you.
Speaker 3 (39:27):
A chance to get caught up, you know, get organized,
especially if you're on a holiday week and you might
be starting your morning off. Later, we're going to check
some talkbacks that we didn't get to in the moment.
Speaker 10 (39:37):
Let's see what ay kiff the morning from the Cold
Beer Guy. Definitely back to carr In only I'm with
Max on that when I like to check out my
cool car when I'm backing into parking spots. And also
from what the old guys tell me at work, you
have to back your car and if you ever need
a jump. It's easier to get to the front of it.
Speaker 3 (39:56):
I can see that being the one reason why. But
you're I'm really going at one in a million on
needing a jump. Knock on what I don't want that
bad juju? My brother's in town and he reverses into
every single parking spot.
Speaker 4 (40:09):
What do you have to shout out to the cold
beer guy another supporter? We have life, I don't.
Speaker 2 (40:14):
You're never gonna convince me.
Speaker 3 (40:16):
We had a lengthy conversation if you hadn't heard this
story before and why it had become one of the.
Speaker 2 (40:21):
Bigger X in my life.
Speaker 3 (40:23):
Get caught up on the podcast search TIF Tiff in
the Morning on the free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (40:27):
At some point today, maybe you'll pop some headphones in
or something.
Speaker 3 (40:30):
Mother nature has blessed us with the gift of beautiful weather.
Not just today, but knock on wood, it will lasts
through the fourth of July.
Speaker 1 (40:39):
You're waking up with tip in the morning. Done, kiss
one all right.
Speaker 3 (40:44):
If you're a visual person, you'll have to go back
and check my Instagram at the TIF to f's potter
like the Wizard and let me know if you approve
of the places that I took my brother around Cincinnati yesterday.
Good morning Max, Good morning Max is visiting me from Atlanta.
If you just happen to be walking into the show
for the first time today, we're getting ready to say goodbye.
(41:06):
But I did torm around and you'll have to let
me know if I hit the correct amount of staples
in the right ones, because I think we all have
our own way of showcasing Cincinnati to visitors, and I
brought them behind the scenes to mine overall thoughts on
the city, I mean, other than it was good, You've
got to give me something else.
Speaker 4 (41:23):
It's fun, It's very creative, a lot of arty, a
lot of creative people. I feel like in Cincinnati, which
I love.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
You know that, don't That's something that I don't necessarily
take for granted.
Speaker 3 (41:33):
But I don't know if I realize all the time
until someone comes to visit me and they notice all
the murals.
Speaker 2 (41:38):
Is that what you noticed?
Speaker 4 (41:39):
Yeah? Murals? They're beautiful.
Speaker 2 (41:41):
What else did we do that you loved?
Speaker 4 (41:43):
I went to the Sam Adams Brewery that was pretty cool,
walked around the ot R district that was fun. And
we saw the New f One movie last night, which
was a blast.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
One to ten.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
For those who are just trying, Yeah, and you gave it,
you gave it a ten, and you are not a
fan of F one.
Speaker 4 (42:00):
Not a fan at all. But I am now a fan.
I'm I'm going to dive into the series on.
Speaker 3 (42:05):
Netflix Drive to survive. I think it's got at least
four to five seasons out. That's what got me into
Formula one in the first place, was the series. And
for those that are fans, you'll see all the drivers
in it, which I don't know why I found surprising
in the moment, like, of course they're going to film
F one races with legitimate F one drivers, So Leclair
(42:26):
is in there, Norris is in there, George Russell, obviously
Lewis Hamilton, because Lewis Hamilton produced the movie very good.
I gave it a ten out of ten. And then
of course we were playing a lot of the songs
from the soundtrack when they were world premiering for New
Music Friday.
Speaker 2 (42:38):
You'll hear those when you go and see it.
Speaker 3 (42:40):
Obviously, speaking of movies and such, Superman was filmed at
Union Terminal unfortunately, and I get a chance to take
Max over there, but they're doing a private screening with
the Surprise Studios for Cincinnatians because it was filmed there,
