Prices, they're looking pretty cheaper as well ahead of the spring,
so it just continues.

Yeah, there's obviously still good demand out there for a
good red mate, and it's good to say, like we're
we produce a pretty world class product and it's good
to be getting paid for it for once. And I
see far has got a twelve twenty price for spring
and yeps as well. For you, I sort of needed
to be that there was a nice playing big money
for store lambs, so it's good that there's going to

We'll see lambs this week went over three hundred bucks.
I think it was at Long Bull at the Yards.
So that's something we haven't seen. Well, I can't remember

And it's really good to be able to kill what
don't get a lamb and they should get a good

was really scathing of the industry, saying that we're accepting mediocrity,
even if there has been quite a rise in the
price compared to where it's been over the past five
or six years.

Well, how do you view it?

Wow? Well, it's good to be how to get it,
get something in the back pocket from the sheering in it.
But I suppose he's quite right, Like again, it's another
world class product and we should be getting paid, you know,
good money for and if you work that through like
inflation wise, we should be getting up well over ten
dollars compared to what we're getting twenty three years ago,
shouldn't we.

Because you look at the wall industry. I think this
is something we're seeing in a lot of industries at
the moment. People what to look at the ethical side
of things. Well, there's nothing more ethical than having.

And you see you see all these do goods getting
around and they're wearing plastic clothing, and that next thing
will be really that conscious about everything. You should be
wearing wool and all natural fibers, you know.

Yeah, I think everybody's guilty of having those plastic fibers
on because they they're cheap and b they are long lasting,
and that's just the reality of the beast.

Yeah, that's what I try to wear wool when I can,
and war well cotton, and yeah, I don't really like
those fleecy clothes, like, yeah, they're not that I find
them that comfortable, and yes, they don't breathe, and but yeah, wolves,
you can't beat will Willy.

Speaking of farming and bit of stories and the likes
you think on social media, there are activists out there
at this time of year, have been for a few
years now.

It's a good chance for farmers to lift your game.

I think so, yeah, I think yeah, like these guys,
you know, they wake up in the middle of night
to a share rain and they sit up there and
rub their hands together, you know, thinking about getting out
there and getting some photos or us. Thus copies are
worried about it. Stop. But I think, like we've just
got to be a little bit more fever from side
of road, Like, you know, you've got to be doing
everything by the book, and don't give these guys any

m We all know we're doing it right. But the
housewife from Auckland or Wellington that fees that stuff and
think that's normal and doesn't you know, that's a bit
of a dumb light on the industry. But yeah, we're
gonna be smart and fever about what we're doing.

nobody likes. Affected activists are trying to pray on farmers
at the moment, but farmers are realizing they need to
lift their games.

So perhaps it's a silver lining.

I think so. I think like a few years ago
we probably were maybe dropping the ball with it, but
everyone's left to be a game now and you see
the photos they're putting on now and they are really
scraping the bottom of the barrel for content. And there's
the odd rascal out there still needs to play the line.
But nothing over the board. Everyone's pretty good, but you
know there's all They always seem to catch a guy
