Conditioning and Heating. I was looking for Jane's This is

she Hello James, and I finally get a call back.
I've been leading messages for the last four days. Okay, yes,
and that's why I'm calling you back right now, because
apparently there is some sort of issue with your air
conditioning unit of heating unit something like that. Yes, it's
not working. My house is tell me a little bit
about it. Hot hot from help. Super good. Okay, Sorry,
(00:44):
are you in the what are you doing? I'm just
typing down notes here while you tell me what the
issue is. So sorry about that. Let me because so
go ahead and tell me a little more about the pray.
I'm sorry, what's that? Yeah, No, you can't hear me
because I can barely hear you. It's really loud. Loud.
The air condition is loud. Okay, I'll take that down
right now. Air conditioning is loud. The typing you're typing

or whatever you're doing over there is loud. You said,
my typing is loud, Yes, sir, Okay, let me just
get that down so I can be even know we
have to document everything over here, so let me just
have that type of typing is too loud for the customer.
I try to typing down. Okay, So anyway, what is
the issue again? Let me just make sure I get

a very detailed report of that. My AC is broken.
I don't know if the lines are frozen or what's
going on, but nothing is coming out. Customers not loud
my house. My house is incredibly hot, and I'm this
is a new system. There's absolutely no reason that that
should not be working there. It's large, that's loud in

the background, Patriot, I'm just getting this all down here.
What was that? What in the are you doing? Like?
How can you possibly listen to me with all of
that noise in the background. I'm just trying to help
you out with your air conditioning problem. You're not helping
right now. Customer seems to think that Customers isn't no

health and why is that? Why am I not being
healthy all of this noise? Are you working on a
freaking keyboard from the nineteen fifties? What the hell are
you doing? I'm so sorry about that? Is it the
sound of the keyboard when I'm typing down the notes,
just a little loud, just a bit. Okay, would it
be better for you if I switched over to pen
and paper, that would be amazing. Okay, I can do
(02:34):
that for you, because it sounds like you're pretty fired
up right now. We don't want you heart in the
house with no air conditioning, now, do we sounds particularly okay,
So why don't you go ahead and start telling me
that issue. I just write down with a pen and
paper so it'll be a little less loud for you.
The AC isn't working, it's new. What is me? What's
the sound? Now? That's just me. I'm writing it down here,

just writing it down on the penning paper with a
pen and paper for you. Okay, you're sitting next to
a copy machine? Is that what I mean? Like? Because
there's just way too much noise. So the depending paper
as loud as what you're saying. Everything is a little
bit loud for me. Let me switch over to a
different device. And I'm so sorry about that. It has
never been an issue before. I don't see how it

could not have been an issue before. Okay, well, now
everything should be fine. I've put down the pen and paper.
I will not be using my computer keyboard, and I
will be paying attention and just I do have to
take notes, but it will not be loud, I promise,
Thank you. Yes, So go ahead. What's the issue? What
does that? Are you using a type writer right now? Yeah?

Just type it down real quick because I don't have
any of those? Is that more? Quiet? I'm so sorry
about that? What was that? You know? I stopped? Just
just stop. I'm gonna rip the ac out of the
fall and throw it onto my front yard so you
all can drive by and pick it up. Okay, Well,
then at this point I'll just let you know it's
a prank phone call and your sister set you up, Jackie. Yes,

I'm sorry. You've been trying to trying to get a
hold of the air conditioning people and you get really

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary.
