It's another jubile phone frame Mornings on the twenties. Hello, Hi,
this is pe Deakins calling from Corporate HR. I was
looking for Sparkle. This is our Hey, Sparkle, how are you.
I'm going youself, I'm great. I know we haven't met before,

(00:22):
but listen, I'm calling you because I need to go
over a vacation requests that you just put in with us. Okay, yep,
came across my desk today as I was doing my approvals,
and I'm calling actually, unfortunately, to let you know that
we are not going to be able to honor your
vacation requests coming up for the week that you're asking off.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Okay, why is that I submitted it a while ago
and out initially.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Yeah. Correct. So I don't know if you know this,
but we have some guidelines here at the company that
a certain number of employees can't take vacation all at
the same time, and there are a number of people
that are asking for vacations on that date and they've
given reasons and explanations for their vacation, and unfortunately, yours
just came with no reason at all, just asking for
days off.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
And so I know I knew the reason.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Yes, if you want to be taken seriously, you're gon
need to have to have a reason. So, unfortunately, yours
is not going to be approved for this one. And
maybe the next time you request a vacation, you might
want to put down a specific reason that you're taking off,
because we tend to take those a little more seriously
than we do the ones that are just like, oh,
I want to take a couple of days off for
no reason, if you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Oh no, I don't know what you mean, because I
already was approoved of it, and I took my time,
I paid for my ticket, my flight, everything already. So
you can't just call me now and tell me that I'm.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Not approved refundable.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I hope, No, it's not.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Oh shoot, well yeah, unfortunately, I'm sorry. There's no way
we're going to be able to honor that. Like I said,
just too many employees need to take vacation at the
same time, and I needed to make sure I got
mine in as well, and so unfortunately going to have
to call let you know that yours is not approved.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Okay, So what reason is everyone else having that they
can get their time but.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
I can't oh, well, there's all sorts of things I
know for mine because I got mine in kind of late.
I have a wedding that I need to attend, and
so that wedding is going to be at the same
time that you asked for.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
So you got yours in late. I put my name first,
But you get to go on vacation and.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I don't, yes, because I have a reason for my vacation,
not a legitimate reason.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
My reason is more important. But I don't have to
let anybody know my reason.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Okay, well, how about this sparkle, So I guess I
should it's I probably shouldn't share this much, but I
was trying to take a vacation at the same time
that you had asked for, and it's for a very
important reason. And like I said, there is a rule
on the number of employees that we can't take vacation
at the same time.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
And that sounds like you problem and not a neat problem.
So you need to get that together right now.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Okay, yeah, but with yours being approved, take mine?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
So no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no no no
no no.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Oh wait a second, So you don't want to approve
mine because you want to take a vacation.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Yes, there's a wedding I need to attend. It's for
my bunnies.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Wait, say that again.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
There's a wedding that I need to attend, a family wedding.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
You need to attend a wedding for your bunnies, that's
what you.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Said to me.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Yes, I did, but they are part of the family.
It's a bunny wedding, and so we're going to Hawaii.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
But you gotta be kidding me right now.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
So you have me on the phone with this request
for you to go to a wedding for some bunnies,
for bunnies.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Are you serious?

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Yes, it's our family bunnies. They're getting married in Hawaii,
so we're taking the whole family. So I think you
can understand why No.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
I cannot understand, and I don't think anybody else with
a sound mind would understand that.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Well. At this point, I don't care you're going to
a wedding for bunnies.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I'm gonna take my vacation regardents. I don't give up
anymore this job. You guys can find somebody else to
feel me and while I am gone, I don't care.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Do your thing. Happy wedding with your bunnies, thank you
very much, and you can off his job and everybody
else that work in his building.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
