day mornings that's twenties. Hello, Hi, this is Pete Deekins
calling from the part of the licensing I was looking
for Danielle. Yep, we're speaking. Hi Danielle. How are you.

I'm good? Great, I'm not. Oh, but then again, yeah,
I probably didn't need to tell you that. I mean,
I'm work at the DMV. It's pretty impossible to have
a good day when you work at the DMV. Anyway,
I'm calling you today because I need to talk to
you about your recent motorcycle license. Yeah. I just got
it like two days ago, and I'm excited to ride
my bike, you know, like beginner. So yeah, yeah, Hey,

(00:47):
what kind of motorcycle you got there? I have a Hartley.
I know it's like a lot for a beginner, but wow,
you can't write it right now. Legally your license is
actually not valid. Wait what do you mean? I mean like,
I don't understand you did all the testing correct. I know,
I did everything, make sure I had all the papers
stilled out, and I'm confused to where I went wrong. Yeah,

(01:08):
I see all that down here, But what I don't
see is the sound test. So nobody told me about
a sound test. What does that even mean? It's pretty simple.
You have to be able to also make the sound
that your motorcycle makes, in case you ever had to
describe it to anybody. You're not being serious, are you.

(01:29):
I work at the DMV. We don't joke around a lot.
I should have told you about this. It's in case
somebody steals it. There's a noise complaint. You have to
be able to recreate sort of the sound of your
motor It's a strange thing they came up with a
while ago, but it actually does help because you know
they'd have different sounds the motors on those things. I mean,
and I believe you work at the DMV. Lady, Yeah,
you're not gonna waste your time calling like but that's

just ridiculous. I guess it's really helpful though. I can
check it off now though, actually over the phone, and
then I can approve it, or you can come down
to the DMV if you want to waste another day
and a half problem. I mean, what, okay the phone?
I rather okay, Well let's do it. Then you tell
me what type of motorcycle you ride? Can you tell
me one more time so I can make sure I
check it. It's a Harley, A nice stir got that

checked off. Here it goes the sound test. So I
have a description here of what that should sound like,
and I just need you to kind of make the sound.
All right, looks so you just want me to make
the sound that my motorcycle sounds like. Yes, it's gonna
be three ways a side street freeway sound and then
it coming to a drastic stop. And I am, well,
I'm glad no one else is listening to this, and yeah,

go for it whenever you're ready. I'm listening. Okay, how
many hum? How do I go about this? What would
your Harley sound like on a side It would be
like like, I don't know, Like that's the best sound

I can make. I don't know. I would never find
my bike back. I need to hear a little longer.
It's got to be a couple of seconds. You laughed,
and I don't think your engine laughs, does it? No?
All right, didn't try that one more time? What would
your motorcycle sound like on a side street? I'm listening,
and I really want to check this out so I
can get you. Um. Yeah, it goes like broom. Okay,

not bad. Now we'll need to hear what it would
sound like on the freeway at freeway speeds, so silly, okay,
I guess it would just be like that sounded like
a dying goose. Okay, um okay, so m hm is

that better? That sounds like three dying geese? So no,
not really? Well, can you tell me what it sounds
like so then I can mimic. Sure on the freeway,
I would have had to stop it there too at
the end there, Okay, are you okay? Sound like he

coughed choked. Wow? That was perfect. That was amazing. That's
the best motorcycle stop sound I've ever heard. Can I
just hear it one more time just for fun? Because
that was a good one? Who mean I passed? I
need one more sound. I need to hear a stop
and then a fart sound. It'd be perfect. What Actually,
