Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's another jubile phone frames on the twenties.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Hello, this is Larissa. How can I help you today?

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Yes, hi Larisa. My name is Pete Eakins. We haven't
met yet, but I'm calling from corporate HR. How you
doing today?

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Oh how are you?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
I'm fine, I'm wonderful. Thank you very much for asking. Listen,
you got a moment, got to speak to you about something.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Oh, I got a second.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
You've got a.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Lot of complaints about your workplace behavior and we need
to have a serious talk.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
The right person.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Yeah, I'm just messing with you. That was a that
was a little bit of an HR joke. Yeah, no
complaints about your workplace behavior. But I am calling today
because noticed a little something on your file.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
So you have not taken any of your personal time
off this year?

Speaker 4 (00:56):
No, I haven't, and you've been working me today.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Well, you've been working hard, and uh, I just have
to let you know the company policy change is going
into effect at the end of the week, So you
need to take all your vacation days by the end
of the week or you're gonna lose them all.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
Well, I can't take my vacation days. I don't want
to take it, then I take it at a certain
time of the year, right, yes, so they take Christmas,
you know, right?

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Yeah, so you will not have any vacation days after
the end of this week, you know, reset after the
first of the year. So if you want to take
a couple of days off here and try to get
in as much as you can, you're welcome to. But
other than that, you're not gonna be able to take
any time off after that until after the first.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Of the year.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Okay, you sent me no notice again? Did you send
a notice to do we have a meeting about this?

Speaker 3 (01:52):
I mean, you know, you got a change just went
into effect, just went into effect. Actually, so yeah, so
if you can take you know, those two weeks in
the next few days.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Good. No, you're not going to tell me what to take.
I'm trying to tell you. You have to give me notice.
You need to go back and read the handbook. You
need to give me notice first. That's how it works.
Do you understand that.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
I'm sorry, you know what? To be transparent, I wasn't
listening to a single word you said.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
What was that.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
You're not paid? I'm talking to you and you're not
paying attention to me.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Excuse me?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Or am I hearing this right? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:33):
No, just kind of are we at work or what
are we at work?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Well?

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (02:38):
And what you don't have to be though, technically you
could take time off right now if you if you,
if you want to.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
I'm going to take a long time off of you
can's messing with me now, play with me?

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Mm?

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Okay. So I'm guessing you're not gonna be No, don't
do that all hard.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
That sending me.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Stop it.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
I'm gonna call HR for arrassment. This is harassment at
this point. This is harassment.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
So I'm guessing you're not a fan of the new
vacation day policy where you're gonna lose all your vacation
days if you don't take them by the end of
the week.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
I'm not only a.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Fan of that, I'm not a fan of you. And
I'm gonna write your give me your full name again,
please peace.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
I'm going over your head.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Gosh, I just don't know. I don't know if I
should bring up the next thing to you because they
sounds a little bit upset. But I do have to
let you know about the fifteen dollars fee.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
The fifteen dollars peaceful.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
What. Yes, every single paycheck now will have a processing
fee for the direct deposit of fifteen dollars, So there'll
be fifteen dollars automatically taken out of your paycheck for
the processing fees. Just to make you aware of that.
That's a new thing. We're just putting into fact.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Why do I work out a job and I gotta pay?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Are you now?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
How does that workout?

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Well? You know it's pay mm hmmm, uh huh.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
What's your name again? Give me your name one more time.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
The right name Pete Eakins.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
So Pete Eakins or Pete Eakins. What are the actual
name Pete Ekins, Peter Peterkin Pin, Petegins, Peterkins. It sounds
like me. Ain't nobody on earth got that name?

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Hey, Larissa, this is actually Double from The Jewel Show
doing a phone prank on you and your coworker. Stacy
set you up, guess a joke. She said that your
company has been putting in some weird changes and she
wanted to.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
