Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's the point of being a parent if you can't
embarrass your kids, right, it's a Jewel Show. Well, Alex
got to do that to her daughter the other day
and it was hilarious. We actually have a video of
it too. You can see it on the Jewel Show Instagram.
But we were at dinner the other day because Alex
and I are Mary by the way, so we have
dinner together all the time, and Alex said to me, Bella,
who's her fifteen year old daughter, is at the park

(00:22):
down the street, and I was like, okay, that's cool.
She said yeah, she said she's not talking to boys,
and you could tell Alex's face like there's a lot
of baseball boys that play at that park. She's definitely
out there trying to talk to boys area. And then
Alex was like, should we go spy on her? And
then me, being the supportive husband and stepfather I am,
said absolutely, you have to get to the bottom of this,

(00:45):
and of course Alex said awesome. But then she stopped
me and she's like, wait before we go to the
park to try to find her and see if we
catch her talking to boys, because she's fifteen never dated.
Before we got to go home so I can get
my binocular We were off. We drove to the house,
got the binoculars, and then went to the park. First

(01:06):
we had to find her. You know, there's a park,
it's during the day. There's a lot of people around there.
It was baseball boys there because there's baseball practices going on,
and we're looking for Alex's daughter, my stepdaughter, Bella. We're
walking through the parking lot with binoculars and spot her daughter,
Bellbear talking to some friends. Can't really tell who they
are yet because we haven't like used the binocular She
was in a group. She went with three other girls. Okay, yeah,

(01:27):
she was in a group with like other voice too,
like they were just around stuff. Alex and I are
behind this tree that's no normal, right, We're pretty far away,
and she's using the binoculars and she's like, oh, oh
my god, there she is. Yeah, there's a bell And
then she ticks the binoculars from away from facing it
and goes, oh, she's with boys, so she knew. So

(01:48):
her daughters never dated. By the way, Bella Bellbear has
never really dated before. This is her first time, like
especially saying that she's at the park and she's with boys,
and then all of a sudden they turned around, I guess,
and then Alex got a freaked out thing that she
was spotted. They all looked over towards a direction like
somebody saw me and was like, Billa, is that your mom?
Seriously they all turned around like looking over that wind.
There's really nobody else around us, yeah, where we were.
So I was like, crap, right, And it was like

(02:09):
pretty quickly after we got there, so I was like,
she already saw us, So we like, we think we're spotted.
So then we bust around to the other side of
the park. We find her again at this other part,
on this little hill with her friend next to her.
She's in the middle and on her other side a boy.
She's talking to somebody. So what does Alex do? What'd
you do? Well? Her best friend was on her left
and this boy that she likes was on the right.

(02:31):
And so I did a challenge on TikTok. Is you
know the challenge where it says, hold your hand out
in front of your child and see what they do.
People are doing it with their babies all the time.
On TikTok, it says, hold your hand out and see
what they do and like babies will grab it and
super cute, you know, little kids. Alex did it to
her son, Jack's eight year old Jackson. We've heard in
the phone pranks and stuff. She didn't him and he

(02:52):
like was playing video games. She reached up and grabbed
her hand. Very cute. Jackson's fifteen years fifteen. Yeah, she
doesn't know that I'm there. She didn't know that I
was there, just letting you guys know because she told
me she didn't know. And so she also has never
told me that she likes this boy or boys or anything.
She hasn't told me she likes girls like nothing. She's
not interested in dating. So when I see that she

(03:13):
staying next to a boy and her best friend, I'm like, hmmm,
let's go in on here. So I walked up to her,
and I and her best friend saw me first, and
then I had my phone on me and then I
reached my hand out, so when she turned around, my
handles right there and to see what they do, and
she just like reached up and took my hand and
like kind of like bumped it, like what's up, brom.
I was just like not trying to make it awkward. Right,

(03:33):
So I just onward. I was gonna say you got binoculars.
So I just fist bumped and was like, um, all right,
you have fun. So I just turned around and walked away.
We just left, no explanation, nothing, We just left. Did
she text you immediately? Yeah? She faced me immediately. She
was just like thought it was hilarious, Actually thought it

(03:54):
was funny. So I'm like, I really thought she would
be embarrassed, but I think she thinks that I'm cool.
On Sunday though, Alex was shook. Yeah. On Sunday why
because she asked her she could go to the mall
right with this boy next to And I was like,
and who else? And she's like just him And I'm like,

(04:17):
um no, that's a date. That is my date. What time?
And she's like like five o'clock. I'm like five evening?
What what? Well? He has to go, like he has
to work with his dad. And I'm like, this is
a lot for me. I didn't even know that you
liked boys as of yesterday. Until yesterday, and now you
want to go on a date. Oh, how the date go? Well?

(04:40):
She ended up not going Why not well because she
didn't do a laundry. How converted that I didn't get
to go. Alex pulled the plug on the washing machine.
Just so text in four one or six one. What's
one of the best ways that you've embarrassed your teenager?
If you want to see the video, I am going
to post it on Instagram at the Jebel Show. It's

(05:02):
also posted on my Instagram at that dreas and remember
you can follow us. I'm at Jebel Fresh and I'm
not Drea's. I met Evan on the radio. Yeah, but
go check out the video of Alex embarrassing her daughter
at the park by doing a TikTok challenge on her
while she was hanging out with some bullys. Yeah.
