The Jubile Show on demand.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Do you think it's unprofessional to wear a bikini on
a work trip? It's the double Show and asked the
question because the story is going viral off a Reddit
about a woman who went on a work trip recently
and she posted on Reddit talking about the fact that
one of her co workers hung out by the pool
in a bikini and all of the other women that
were on the work trip with her got angry at

(00:25):
her and said that she was trying to get attention
from the other male coworkers there and that it was
just very unprofessional to be wearing the bikini by the
pool on a work trip.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
What did they want her to wear instead? Business cash,
I don't know. I mean, what suits near a pool?

Speaker 1 (00:42):
You know? I don't I mean, I guess what other options?
You could wear? A one piece? Right, Nina? I guess
you could wear a one piece. You know.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
It's funny that this actually story is coming out because
recently I was talking to a friend of mine. She's
a news anchor, and she went on a trip to
Costa Rica and she posted a picture of herself in
a baby suit under a waterfall, which happened to be
a bikini because that's, you know, just what she wears,
and her job made her take it down because they
thought that she was sexualizing herself by posting in a waterfall.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
She's in Costa Rica, right, did she take it down?
I mean she had to. Yeah, So it's if you
want to sexualize yourself, go ahead, it's yourself. Well, I
mean it was more about them.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
It was more about the waterfall than her in her mind, right,
And for this person that's on a work trip, it's
more about I don't know what's the alternative. I think
if you don't have thong on, and I think if
you're not letting everything hang out, you're doing all. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I mean I guess it depends on the bikini. But
if it's just a regular two piece bikini, that's just
what women wear by the pool a lot of times, right,
that's a bathing suit. Yeah, Like, I don't see an
issue with it. But apparently a lot of her female
coworkers were very upset that she did that. And your
friend who got her who their company asked her to

(01:56):
take down a picture of herself in a waterfall in
Costa Rica in a bikini because she's sexualizing herself was
she she just took a picture under a waterfall?

Speaker 4 (02:05):
Right?

Speaker 3 (02:05):
I just took a picture under a waterfall? The thing
that makes me really sad here. I guess you could
see both sides of it, right. So, as a woman,
you're having other women tell you that they don't like
you wearing a two piece because they think that you're
trying to get attention, and a woman who's the boss
telling you to take it down because you're sexualizing yourself.
It's like, can we just be or are we going

(02:27):
to hate on everybody every single time that they try
to be?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Right?

Speaker 4 (02:30):
You know?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I mean there's a difference between sexualizing yourself and taking
a picture under a waterfall on a bikini.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
I mean, what was she doing? You know, like, right,
is she doing something?

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Exactly? Yeah, No, I think that there's a clear difference,
you know.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
But we're being really sensitive to the whole thing because
you know, I guess look at the Kardashians, look at
everybody posting pictures of themselves in bikinis anytime you get
an opportunity to do it, And I think people are
getting sensitive to that.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
So is it because they feel bad.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
About themselves that they don't want to see anybody else
look good in a bathing suit.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
I mean, that's one thing I would think usually when
people have that reaction, it's because it hits somewhere with them, right.
They don't like her in a bikini because they maybe
not don't look as good as her in a bikini,
and so it makes them upset, and they don't want
her to be in a bikini because they don't want
to be upstaged.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
I guess right, Yeah, maybe let's produce a brad. I
have a question if someone is wearing a bikini on
a trip work trip and everyone else has a problem
with it, who's really doing the sexualizing Not the person
who's wearing the bikini, but everyone else who has a
sexual opinion about their body, which is none of their business.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Ooh is that right?

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Essentially trying to learn how to be a better guess
essentially it's open.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
I am curious to see if other people have any
thoughts on wearing bikinis on work trips.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Yeah, I just I have always had a problem with
the whole profession well, I mean it's a professional, professional work,
but professional attire, especially if you're on a work trip
on vacation like that. So this Reddit post that we're
talking about where this woman said that they had they
went on a work trip and they were like awarded
a work trip because they had done really good at

(04:09):
this company, so it was more like a fun work trip,
a congratulations you guys did a good job work trip,
and they were out by the pool and her co
workers are upset because she wore a bikini and that's
like a fun work trip. Why can't you wear a
bikini for that? That doesn't make any sense to me.
I know, people get so upset and they get so

(04:29):
into the being professional thing, like what are you supposed
to do what's considered professional?

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Well, it actually makes us feel kind of self conscious,
like okay, being a woman again in a networking space
that's predominantly men, I would always be conscious of whatever
kind of top I was wearing to make sure that
I didn't have cleavage showing or anything like that, so
I couldn't get hit that way. But even still if
I wanted to, shouldn't I be able to see?

Speaker 2 (04:52):
That? Seems stressful to me, I mean, and I know
it probably is stressful. And Nina, is it stressful because
you said you think about what top to wear? So
going to a work event, right, Yeah, before you go,
you think about what kind of top to wear.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Yeah, so every time you don't wear.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Something too low cut, so you don't what look a
certain way or people don't judge you.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Yeah, because you don't want anybody running around saying, well,
she got her job because she wore that low cut shirt.
She got her job because she put herself in that position.
It's sad that that's still happening.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
It is sad.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
I mean that's why I always wear v neck pants
to work. Yeah, you do, because I don't mind people
know how I.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Got my job. Also, whose fault is that the person
who gave the job? Right? I just think we need
to be more kind to each other. That's all I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
No, the difference between wearing a thong and flashing yourself
and twerking on a work trip and just being present?

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Can we just be kind? Call us up?

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Eighty eight three four three one six one text in
four one of six to one. Hey Kaylin, Hey, what
do you think about this? Do you think it's unprofessional
to wear a bikini on a work trip?

Speaker 4 (05:57):
I mean if she was going into the office, absolutely,
But if they're by a pool women are allowed to
wear bikinis. I don't know what the issue with it
is if they think that it's just because she's not
wearing a one piece or a T shirt. I mean,
it's twenty twenty three. Women should be old were a
swimsuit in a pool. I don't know what more there
is to it.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Yeah, yeah, Caitlin.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Have you ever had in a situation where you had
to think twice about what you were wearing because of
something like that?

Speaker 4 (06:25):
I mean absolutely. I actually was in a similar situation.
We went on a works trip and there was a
pool party and people ended up wearing some suits. So
I have to think about it all the time. But
I don't think women should have to second guests their
bodies and things that are teams normal for the most parts.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
No, absolutely, I mean, and that's it's like I said
it just a second ago.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
But that's stressful. I have to think about that stuff
all the time.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Yeah, we can't help it. We were just born with
these things, you know.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
And I used to post pictures of myselfh one social
media with glitter on my butt for the holidays, little
booty pictures.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Yeah, yeah, I didn't know why though.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Well, just you know, it was just a way to
say happy whatever it is, happy Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
You know, things like That's history of Instagram is wild.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Yeah, oh yeah, I remind me to tell you the
story about when I saw that for the first time.
When I was across the country and hadn't talked to
you in a while. I was scrolling and all of
a sudden, I stopped on Jewble's shiny butt, and I
was like, what is happening.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
If you ever want to witness or a hilarious conversation
would be a part of hilarious conversation. Get involved in
a lawsuit, you have to explain your social media posts
in front of it.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Wait, what is this real? Where were you with this story?

Speaker 2 (07:50):
You have another lawyer going, is this a picture of
you with glitter all over your butt?

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Stop it?

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Yes it is, sir. What holiday was this celebrated? That
would be Thanksgiving? Glitterbooty? Is this another picture with what
looks like a jack lantern glitter painted on your button?
Yes it is, sir.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
I saw that one too. Do you think that that's offensive? No,
I don't. I think it was just getting into the
festive spirit of things. I also lost that lawsuit.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
It's time for what's trending with Nina. Also your chance
at one thousand dollars with the Jubil Cash code coming
up in just a second. But hey, Nina, oh hey,
what's trending?

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Is this how we're doing it this time?

Speaker 2 (08:35):
That's how I'm doing it this time because I was
unprepared to do anything else that I.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Wanted to do. Filan, what's trending right now?

Speaker 3 (08:41):
Would you say that you're more coastal cowgirl or cowboy core?

Speaker 1 (08:47):
I don't know what either of those that means? Yeah,
what is that mean? It's the new summer trend.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
So when you're taking a look at what fashion is
going to look like this summer, we're leaning towards a
coastal cowgirl look, which is combining like flirty florals with
the cowboy boots and like big chunky belts and all
that kind of stuff. Thanks to Yellowstone, everybody wants to
dress leg bath. So there's that. But if you really
want to lean into your inner cowgirl, cowboy, cowboy core

(09:16):
is the other option where you're taking out the florals
and you're wearing warm the chunky belts and the boots
and stuff. It's just I want to know who named
these things? Like, whose job is it to name the
look of the summer. That'd be a fun job, right,
I think you'd be really good out at Jewbil. I
think I would too, something to be weird trends. Would

(09:37):
you describe your look to be mine?

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Uh, that's it, like an awkward face? Am like a
like I don't know.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Us, just like zen swag.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
I like that you should name them, I guess so.
So it's cowboy core yeap or coastal cow Girl coastal cowgirl.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
I think I would prefer the coastal cowgirl over that. Yeah,
just sounds nice.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
I mean it's actually really cute coming off a coachel.
A lot of people were rocking the coastal cowgirl looks.
So if you're confused, just go look at some photos
recapping the weekend.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
All right, I'll go get myself a chunky belt. We're
not got a chunky belt belts? Oh thanks.
