Speaker 1 (00:00):
The jew Bill Show on demand, drinking that energy drink again.
For a minute, I was kind of wired do the same,
and then I just went down. I stopped because it
was like, how I want to take a nap? Like
what energy drink? Are you drinking this stuff? It's called
wired energy drink? But I really want a red Bull.
I'm gonna check this energy drink like it was another
energy drink, Like sleeping with someone and thinking about someone else,

(00:21):
isn't it hilarious? A barely everybody's sired today, So let's
go around the room and check in. Then everybody's doing
obviously Victoria's very tired. Let's check in, Nina, how are
you doing today? You know, I'm doing great. First week
of being on the new job in the books, which
has been really fun. But I'm living with my parents

(00:42):
I call them roommates, and ever since I've moved home,
which has only been a couple of months, my mom,
who says she's thrilled that I'm home, has been really
obsessed with the concept of me meeting a man. So
every time I leave the house, it's funny. I get
new like words of encouragement, like last night it was
go wink at some bull boys, you know. Other ones
are like, does your mom want you to win? I

(01:08):
think she does. I think she knows too. I just
don't think she knows that winking probably isn't answer. So
she's been proactively trying to make sure that I'm okay
through winks and what I wear. So bringing a jack
and be like, I think this will look really cute
on you'll put that on. It's it's kind of fun,
and like also kind of like, what are you sure, Nina,
that your mom doesn't have some sort of account on

(01:28):
tender pretending to be you know, I'm not sure. I'm
not sure at all. So, Nina, you're close with your family, right,
like I never was close with my family. Is your
dad protective? Is it like that type of situation? Well,
he used to be. He used to be really protective too.
He would always say, Mina, the only man you need
in your life is your daddy. And so he's a

(01:50):
Ronnyan and he's got a real thick accent and he's
been saying that my whole life. But now him and
my mom are tag teaming to get me out of
the house. But they're telling me that they're happy that
I'm right. They're like, oh no, we love you staying
here now, but like how long though? Right? Calls obated
at eight three four, three one six one Texas and
four one six one Victoria, check in with you. What's
going on home? Well, it was very tired during Nina's story.

(02:10):
I started chugging a little more of this drink and
I feel a little better. It wasn't a story, That's
what I was going to say. No, no no, no, starting
to bore you, Victoria, My bad, it's the long weekend. Okay,
yesterday it was Easter. I didn't go home to see
my family, so instead I drink a lot of my
Moses with my friends. Therefore, I'm really tired to today, Victoria.

(02:31):
Have you found like a family like away from home
with my roommate? But then the friends that we have
met are kind of have been like our family because
none of them went home either. You need to come
and get some home cooking. My parents will try to
find you a man while they feed you two. We
need you guys, because you guys all close with your families.
Like I never was the best Thanksgiving I ever had.

(02:51):
I was away from my family. I was going through
a breakup at the time. So I sat on the
couch and I ate a cheeseburger and I watched movies
and it was the best Thanksgiving I've ever had. I
was like, I am so thankful for this opportunity. Brad
checking in with you today? What was going on with you?
For the most part, I'm just trying to create great
traditions for my daughter Declan. So went all out on

(03:13):
Easter three Easter baskets, things hidden all over the place. Yeah,
you did, went all in and uh, it feels good
to be a good dad, like twelve times a year. Tiring. Yeah, no,
I'm exhausted. Yeah, I could use an actual red bull.
I'm excited today. I got a really cool phone call
the other day. You guys know I talked to my
friend Jerry every single morning on the driving to work. Right. Yeah, well,

(03:35):
I've been feeling creatively stuck. And he called me the
other day and I answered, I picked it up and
he greets to me how he always says, it's like, shalo,
I'm Holmes. And I was like, shello, mess, what's up?
I love this? All right? Yeah? He was like, hey, um,
I had this dude in my house doing some work,
and he saw one of the paintings that you made

(03:56):
for me on the wall, and he started telling my
friend how much he liked the painting. Then he started
to telling my friend that his dad had just died,
and he liked the painting that I made for my
friends so much that he asked my friend Jerry to
call me and ask if I would paint something for
him in honor of his dad. Of course, what a
great opportunity, you know, I mean, it is so woe
pressure though, Like is it kind of like when somebody's

(04:19):
asking you to do something like that for their dad,
like in that circumstance, and you've been creatively stuck. I
think it's the thing that I needed. Wait, that's so cool.
So what was the painting that he saw? Well, it's
kind of weird. For a time, I would do this
thing where I would just write words and change him
a little bit to make a different phrase. One of
the most popular ones I did was I wrote life
is art in black ink, and then I put an
F at the beginning and s at the end of

(04:40):
the word art, so it said life is farts. Oh okay,
that's not the one that yeah, very popular people loved it,
and so I went through a phase where I was
doing stuff like that. And the painting that this guy saw,
he wants me to paint something for his father who
passed away, which is an amazing honor. But the painting
that he saw in my friend's house said make love
not war in black inks and then I put a

(05:03):
t in an s at the end of war, so
make love not wartz. That's the painting you saw? Is
this real life? Yeah? I spoke to him. Obviously. Dad
must have been a real funny guy. Like, what kind
of painting that you want now? Of his dad? I

(05:23):
know I'm excited about that. I have no idea what
I'm gonna do, but I just know that that that
was like an amazing opportunity to be able to do
something cool for someone and maybe get my creativity back
a little bit. I love that. But you know, one
place you could start body painting is fun. I heard,
so I just kind of slithering around and some paint
and all. I would love to do that too, just

(05:47):
slathering myself and maybe I'll do that in the hallways here.
I did get in trouble for spray painting when we
first moved into the building. Yeah, probably bad taste the
first try. The dad painting, Yeah blue, disrespectful if I
do it with my naked body, But who knows, I'm
an artist. The Jebbil Show on demand
