Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time to Catch a Cheater. Only on the Double Show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Amelia is on the phone today for to Catch a
Cheater and she's been with her boyfriend Deshaun for eight
months now and she already thinks something is going on.
So we'll see if you can help her out. Amelia, Sorry,
you have to come on the show like this, But
what's up? Why do you think DeShawn is cheating?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
He's he's just been acting differently lately, like he's he's.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
Not been.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Really affectionate, and when I do talk to him, he's
he just kind of ignores me and he seems really annoyed.

Speaker 5 (00:35):
So I don't know.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
It feels like something something happened, something changed.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Okay, did you ask him about it?

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Not like really directly. I guess I've asked, like if
he's upset with me or if he feels okay, but.

Speaker 5 (00:55):
He just isn't.

Speaker 6 (00:56):
He doesn't really answer.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
He seems like he's like this upset, but I don't know,
like nothing really happened between us.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
It just kind of came out of nowhere.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
That's frustrating. It is it makes you feel a little nuts.
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 6 (01:13):
It makes me feel pretty weird.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Yeah, like I don't know what's going on, and I
feel like I'm just kind of talking into this.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:23):
Yeah you know, yeah, unfortunately, yes, I do know very well.
So have you started to do any investing? I know
it sucks, but have you ever have you started to
do any investigation on your own? Like is there something
that you may suspect could have happened or any other
signs that you're seeing.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
I haven't, no, not really, like like I haven't like
look at his phone or anything like I I don't know,
like I look to see some like commons on who's
like Instagram, but yeah, something there stuff like that, Like
I'm I don't know, Like he doesn't like nothing's really

(02:03):
changed except for how he's talking to me.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
And I thought things were like going okay and but
not not anymore. Like he used to be like really
fun and like like he would like really pay attention
to me a lot, and he'd always like answer my
calls and text straight away. And now it just feels
like I'm annoying him.

Speaker 7 (02:25):
What has he been doing? Like has he been going
out with his friends more? Is he spending more time
at work? Any of that, or he's just feeling annoyed
with you.

Speaker 6 (02:33):
Yeah, it seems like he's been really busy, like he's
he's like, well, I'm just going a lot going on
and working more like he said, like a friend of
back in town or something.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I don't know, Okay, so just kind of.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Just kind of kind of shady and like, I don't
know if it's if he's like if he's if he's
like cheating on me, or if he's like, I don't.

Speaker 8 (02:58):
Know, sad, I don't know if you've not talking to me,
like my intuition, like, I know there's something going on,
but I can't figure out what it is.

Speaker 7 (03:10):
I'm really impressed with how you're handling it so far,
though I know a lot of people that would have
exploded at this point and forced it.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
All right, grocery store, he's a rewards card member, So
we'll play a song come back, and then call him
and tell him that he's this month's lucky winner of
free flowers delivered from our floor apartment, and we'll see
if he sends those to you or to somebody else. Okay, Okay,
all right, we'll get you to catch a cheater right
after this right in the middle of to catch a

(03:43):
cheater and if you're just joining us. Amelia is on
the phone and she thinks that her boyfriend of eight
months named Deshan might be messing around. So we're about
to call him and pretend to be from the grocery
store that he's a rewards card member at and say
that every single month, we choose one lucky reward member
who gets free flowers delivered fro our floord department, and
we'll see if he sends those to his girlfriend Amelia

(04:04):
or to somebody else. But before we do that, Amelia,
why don't you just give us a real quick breakdown
of your situation again.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Yeah. Yeah, we've been waiting for eight months and the
things are going really well, and recently he's just been
really distant and not responding to my text and emails
and you guys just really annoyed.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Hey, that's so frustrating.

Speaker 6 (04:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Are you ready for us to call him? Rude?

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Here we go.

Speaker 8 (04:41):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Hey, this is Carbett calling from So I was looking
for our rewards card member named Deehan.

Speaker 9 (04:49):
You you bet?

Speaker 5 (04:51):
Is this Dale?

Speaker 9 (04:52):
Hello from what Grows?

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Hey Deshan?

Speaker 3 (04:57):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Man?

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Anybody calls the show all the time.

Speaker 9 (05:07):
Yeah, uh are calling me?

Speaker 1 (05:09):
I'm guessing, man, So Sean.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
I'm guessing you know why we're calling.

Speaker 9 (05:17):
Ah Man, Yeah, I would have been happy to speak
to you guys, but I know this is not a
good call.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
This is a to catch a cheater.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Man and Dale. You know that your girlfriend Amelia is
on the phone and what's talking?

Speaker 4 (05:33):
What do you mean me talking to them all the time?

Speaker 9 (05:37):
You know, I told up the show and you know
we we you know, we we built the rapool. We
built like a relationship. You know, we just talk about
different times, stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
You were you were und to catch a cheater before.

Speaker 9 (05:56):
Something like that.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (05:59):
So I'm guessing you heard the dirty little secret I
did a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure it's probably
why you called.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Did you hear that, Amelia?

Speaker 10 (06:11):
No, No, I didn't know that he called in for
a dirty little little secret. But what was your secret
to Sean?

Speaker 9 (06:20):
This is uh? Yeah, yeah, yes I think you should
tell her.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
I tell you.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
What.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Nobody much as we love you, this is on you. Yeah,
you know, to to have my back? Oh man, you accountable.

Speaker 9 (06:40):
It was a I mean, it's a long time ago.
It was a situation, uh you know with a family
member with with with your aunt.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Excuse me, start at the beginning, like which you just
spit that out so quickly now, I.

Speaker 9 (06:58):
Mean you got to rip the band and just man, Yeah,
it was a situation with you a long time ago,
A long time ago.

Speaker 10 (07:07):
We've been hating for eight months.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
They couldn't have been that long ago.

Speaker 9 (07:11):
Eight months is a long time.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Oh come on, you were.

Speaker 8 (07:15):
A grown man.

Speaker 9 (07:16):
Nothing but yeah, you know your aunt, Uh you know Emily,
some stuff happened there and you know, I mean, you
know how she is.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
You told me how she was that.

Speaker 9 (07:32):
Persons about you know, how she acts, what she does,
So excuse me, I mean to be honest, it's been
awkward ever since. Uh you know, like remember when we
was at your dad's house for his birthday and you know,
everybody was stuff like that, like he was you know,
I'm pushing her back like I'm not trying to deal

(07:54):
with her, and she was still coming on to me.
You know, after that, I was uncomfortable, like I would
read everything like I'm not proud of what I did.
I sincerely apologize. I got to just be honest with you.
I should have never done it, and I'm sorry. You
know I love you. You know I don't. I don't
want to be with nobody else.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
DeShawn.

Speaker 10 (08:16):
Are you saying that you see my aunt Emily at
my dad party?

Speaker 9 (08:21):
No, I didn't know. I never said that. I'm we
did it before your dad's party. I'm saying that your party.
She was dead because I didn't want any dealings with her.
I didn't want nothing to do with her. I regretted it.
I regret it to this day. Uh, with every every
piece of my soul. I regret it. And the reason

(08:42):
why I mentioned your dad's party is because she was
still coming on to me and I didn't want no
dealings with her or any other woman for that matter.
You know, the only person in the world I wanted you.
I'm a man, you know, a huge mistake. That's why
I said I didn't want to be a victim about
the situation. But she did seduce me. I was weak
and I fell for it. I should have never failed

(09:03):
for it. But you know, we've been through a lot
since then, and we grew closer. But we got all
of these plans and goals that were building together, and
I don't want to lose you, and I don't want
to you lose this life anything, and I'm so sorry.
I'm really sorry. In it, I swear this never happened again.

Speaker 6 (09:20):
I'm sorry this is in the same me.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Did you grow closer? Amelia? You said he's been acting
all kinds of weird and avoiding you.

Speaker 9 (09:28):
Well, yeah, you know, I have been acting a little
weird lately because you know, I've been wanting to tell
you and I don't know how to tell you, you know,
And I I just wanted to get this off my
chest so we can move on with our lives.

Speaker 10 (09:40):
Okay, Well you didn't get it off your chest. I
called the radio station to talk to you, so maybe
next time you're going, here's something instead of avoiding me.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (09:52):
Well, you know I messed up, you know, and I'm
sincerely sorry. And can we can we just you know,
talk more about this in private.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
You know.

Speaker 9 (10:02):
I love you, guys, Jubel, everybody. I love y'all, but
I think I need to address this privately, and you
know it's okay with you.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Yeah, I think I think we have.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
They'll keep us posted, okay, And Amelia, I'm glad you found.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Out, and stay away from aunt Emily.

Speaker 9 (10:19):
Yeah man, I'm glad we got that up. Yeah man, Emily,
She's ferocious when she wants something.

Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life.
