Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time to Catch a Cheater Only.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
On the Jubile Show.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Danielle is on the phone today for to Catch a
Cheater and she's been with her boyfriend Evan for three
years and now she thinks that he might be cheating.
So we'll see if we can help her out. Danielle,
sorry you have to come on the show this way,
But what's up? Why do you think daniel might be
cheating on you?

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Well, she's been spending more time out at work happy hours,
but when he comes home, he's like totally sober. So
it's not like he's drinking. So what is he doing?

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Almost like you'd rather be like, isn't that a good thing?

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Maybe he's just being social.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Maybe, but it's just weird because he's never done it
before and it's been happening a lot lately.

Speaker 5 (00:41):
Are there new bosses or kind of like new projects
or anything going on at work that would be one
of those like team bonding type situations, not that I
know of.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Is that the only reason why you think he's cheating
cause he's coming home sober?

Speaker 6 (00:53):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
No, there's more than that. Like he's really protective over
his phone, like he sets it face down and he
has his notification silenced. He's never done that before.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Like, that's always a sign when somebody starts treating their
phone differently.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Right, And then on our credit card there was a
charge for a fancy restaurant and I asked him, like
what you didn't go with me? Like, what what are
you doing? And he's like, oh, it's a work thing.
He's a really nice restaurant for being a work thing.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yeah, and then why would he be paying if it
was a work thing?

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Is he treating you different?

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:30):
I mean like I asked for details about this, and
he just dodges the question and he changes the subject.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
So when you ask him about it, he's just like
defensive about it.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Yeah, like yeah, just I mean not even a defensive
He just like doesn't acknowledge it, dodges the question and
moves on to another subject.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Have you ever thought that he might be cheating before?

Speaker 4 (01:50):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Never, never have.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
You ever tried going with him to these happy hours?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
You know, I never never thought about it. I Mean
he just started this, so this never even dawn on
me to ask to go with him. I mean that's
an idea.

Speaker 5 (02:07):
Yeah, it's also probably like not the easiest to get
in there right away, especially if it's a work thing.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
So physically, like, is he affectionate with you right now?

Speaker 6 (02:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:17):
He is.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Yeah, I mean that hasn't changed. Yeah, I mean that's
still good. It's just he's been evasive about this. I
mean we've been together for three years, we have a
dog together, you know, like it's been a really good relationship.
To lately it's changed and I don't know what to think.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Okay, well, we'll see if we can figure it out
for you.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
You already told us what grocery store he's a rewards
card member at. So we'll play a song come Back,
and then call him and pretend to be from the
grocery store and say that he's this month's lucky winner
of free flowers delivered from our floral department, and we'll
see if he sends those flowers to you or to
somebody else. Okay, Okay, we'll play a song come Back,

(03:02):
and then get your to Catch a Cheater right after this,
if you're just.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Joining us for to Catch a Teater.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Danielle is on the phone and she thinks that her
boyfriend Evan of three years might be messing around. So
we're about to call him and pretend to be from
the grocery store that he's a rewards member at and
say that he's this month's lucky winner of free flowers
delivered from our Florida department. And we'll see if he
sends those to his girlfriend Danielle or to somebody else.
But before we do that, Danielle, why don't you break
down your situation one more time real quick.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Well, it's just lately he's good at these work happy hours,
but he comes home stobers. It's not like he's drinking
at them. And then he's just been weird about his phone,
like setting it face down, silencing notifications, and anytime that
I ask him about these things, he just evades it
and like just change the subject and won't answer my questions.

(03:52):
It's just a weird behavior.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
No, we don't love that. Are you ready for us
to call him?

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Yeah? I am? I am?

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Okay, go.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Hey, this is Corbett calling from I was looking for
an awards card member named Evan. Evan, Please don't hang up.
This is not a marketing phone call. I'm actually calling
with a big congratulations. You're this month's big winner.

Speaker 6 (04:24):
Awesome. Oh that's cool. I'm awesome yeah. I didn't know
you guys did things like this. This is pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Cool.

Speaker 6 (04:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Every single month we choose one Lucky Rewards member who
gets free gift for the month, and you have won
thirty six long stem red roses, a box of candy
or chocolate, and a card to be delivered to anybody
that you want with in the fifty United States, absolutely free.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
Wow. That's that's amazing. Yeah, No, that's absolutely amazing.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
And all I need from you is the first and
last name of the person you want to send them to,
and then we'll see if you want to put anything
on a card, and then after that I'll get the
address and and we'll be get to go.

Speaker 6 (05:01):
Great, all right, can you address it to Emma?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Emma?

Speaker 4 (05:09):
And if you can, yes, And if you've been right
in the card, just you have been absolutely amazing. Thank
you for everything, and I can't wait to see you
tomorrow night.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Great.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
I got that down, And now I'll let you know
that your girlfriend Danielle is on the phone and probably
ask questions for you.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Emma.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
Oh what what Evan?

Speaker 3 (05:36):
This is actually the Jubile Show. It's a radio show.
We do a segment called to Catch a Cheater. Where
if you think your significant other might be messing around
you see who they send flowers to.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
So that's what this is. And back to who's Emma?

Speaker 1 (05:47):
This is not and Jane, you're obviously cheating on me
with a girl named Emma. What is going on?

Speaker 6 (05:55):
No?

Speaker 4 (05:56):
What are you doing here? This is a radio show me.
Why do you I'm cheating? Why would you set this up?

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Because you're like hiding your phone all the time, putting
it face down. You're going to work happy hours, yet
you don't even come home with any alcohol in your breath.
You're like totally sober. So how do I believe that
you're really going to work happy hours? And why are
you doing it all of a sudden?

Speaker 6 (06:19):
Maybe this is I don't I think this is nuts.
This is absolutely crazy.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
I don't think it's so crazy.

Speaker 6 (06:25):
You just sent.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Flowers to another one.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
That isn't wait to see them.

Speaker 6 (06:31):
Look, look, can just give me a minute to explain, please?

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Yeah, I would love to hear what you have to say.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
All right, So, Emma is the new dog trainer, right?
I hired a dog trainer because.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
Danielle, as you know, you've been complaining about.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
The dog's behavior for months, Right, and and I that
you know, Emma would help.

Speaker 6 (06:58):
Miss train the dog. That's so she's now, but I'll
let me train the dog.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
So you've been keeping that a secret though?

Speaker 4 (07:04):
Why I wanted to be a surprised for Danielle. You
know that the Rocky, which is our dog's name. I
want to be surprised and that Rocky has gotten this training.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Yeah, I'm not, are you? I'm I can't even believe this?
Like what then? Why the secret restaurant charge? Why all
the late nights? What's up with being so secret kid
with your phone all of a sudden, Look.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
Okay, the restaurant that is just a thank you dinner,
you know, for the dog. Yeah, you know she's really
helping us out. Rocky is coming a long way, all right.
What do you want me to say?

Speaker 6 (07:51):
Like, I'm trying. It's a decent thing to give her
a thank you dinner.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
That's complete. Well, our dog isn't even trained at all.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
He's still being trained, that's the thing. Like, he's not
done with his training. He's still being trained. I just
thought it'd be nice to take her out after the
first lesson, to have dinner as a thank you.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
And you were not training the dog.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
Yet the dog is training, Okay, I mean he's training.
Just just give me a break, all right. I just
wanted to tick around for a thank you dinner.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
I had a fancy restaurant as a thank you.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
It wasn't that nice of a restaurant. It wasn't It
wasn't like a fancy place. He's in a regular restaurant.
We've been there a thousand times, nobody.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
I mean, you know, it's just that I wanted to
go because that's what I was craving.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
If I was to send somebody flowers show on me
trained dog, I also wouldn't be like I can't wait
to see you.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
Yeah. There's just a lot of place. It's just a
lot of them. Gratitude towards this trainer.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
Yeah no, I don't say that about her.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
I mean, like she works hard, Okay, you know she's
she's really good at what she does too.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
All Right, you're a foolish I don't believe you like
a fancy returan for a dog trainer, and then you're
like just sending her right now.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
Oh yeah, like like you know, like you doing this
with me, with this you know, this whole thing that
you set up with the radio station.

Speaker 6 (09:17):
I mean, come on, you know what's that about.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
Like, if you're gonna already accuse me of cheating, I
might you know, I might as well just be cheating
on you. I might as well just do it what
I'm trying to do something nice and take care of
our dog and she just gets suspicious and does.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
This dog together to train it in private and secret.
Because also, if you're a dog owner, wouldn't Danielle need
to know the commands for the dog?

Speaker 6 (09:46):
If you, Danielle, I'll talk to you later, will you.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
I don't think he's uh, Danielle, Danielle, I'm sorry, Oh
my god.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Do you believe him?

Speaker 6 (10:01):
No?

Speaker 1 (10:01):
I don't believe one word he say. Like you've definitely
seen training our dog in private.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
And sending flowers to that person and.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Taking don't to a restaurant, and you hadn't taken me
to your restaurant in like two weeks.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
I mean come on.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Yeah, at this point, I feel like you need to
confront this so and so dog trainer just to get
confirmation so you don't kick yourself later.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Even though this is sounding really off.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Yeah, it's totally filing off. Yeah, I'm going to figure
it out. I mean, but thank you for doing this
or I wouldn't have known.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Yeah. Sorry, it sucks, but hopefully he's telling the truth.
I mean, it doesn't sound like he is to me,
but hopefully he is.
