Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time to Catch a Cheater.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Only on the Jubil Show.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Leo is on the phone today for to Catch a
Cheater and he's been married to his wife, Camille for
three years, but now he thinks she might be cheating.
So we're going to see if we can help him out. Leo,
what's up man, what's going on?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
So, like you said, my wife and I have been
married for three years. We met in college and we
actually both work for the same high school. We're teachers.
She teaches math, I teach literature. We don't really see
each other during the day, so we've never worried about
any kind of like you know, conflict of interest or
not dating someone you work with. That's never been an issue.

(00:38):
So basically, since we don't see each other, we have
this little tradition where at the end of every day,
just kind of to entertain ourselves, we like sit, we
have something to eat, and we basically like we talked
cash about like our students, the rest of the faculty.
And it's fun because, like we don't have the same
student so I'll be like, hey, you know that kid
that always wears the purple sweatshirt, Yeah, let me tell

(00:59):
you about him that kind of thing. It's like a
nice way to connect, you know, and lately it is
really fun. But I have noticed there's been a change.
And to me, I'll just like doesn't have much to
say when she sits down to eat, she uh, and
like it's more than that, it feels like she's maybe
holding something back or not telling me something. And I

(01:23):
kept trying to get info out of her or like
scope it out, like I didn't know if I had
done something or if there was something happening like in
school that that I shouldn't know about, something kind of internal.
But I'm one hundred percent sure that I'm doing okay
in both those departments. I don't know, because I've always
worked hard to like help her be it at home

(01:43):
at work, and it just feels weird. It feels like
there's a big shift. And just to go on the record,
since we are like on the radio and whatever, like
I am totally sure that it's not any kind of
like weird teacher student miniseries. We have talked about that
like it happened in the district near ours, and like

(02:05):
it totally grosses her out. And I guess, like the
one thing I have noticed like, once I kind of
thought through all the other possible scenarios, I did notice
that one of the other teachers from across the hall, Tom,
his name Tom. He's been hanging around her more lately,
like when he passes by in the hall, and I've

(02:25):
noticed that Tom's always been really sweet to her, and
he but he kind of follows her around everywhere. And
I kind of just laughed it off, thinking like I
don't know, it's it's a crush or it's just like
someone whatever, but she actually seems to kind of be
like flirting with Tom. And then it started getting a
little fishier for me because she started getting random texts

(02:46):
and she's always like, oh, it's just something for school,
it's something for school, and she never gets text later
than six, and some of these have been coming in
like later than nine. And like I said, we're school teachers,
so we go to bed early, so like nine o'clock
that's the middle of the night for us. And so
I asked about it, and I'm like that weirds me
out that he's hanging around you so much, and she

(03:06):
just gets defensive to switch the subject. And the last
straw before I emailed you all was I saw him
her alone with Tom when I walked into the classroom
and they were extremely close. They saw me, they quickly,
you know, separated from each other, and then they tried
to play it off. But that was kind of the
last straw, and I just couldn't ignore it anymore. So,

(03:29):
you know, that leaves me here, what else am I
supposed to do?

Speaker 4 (03:32):
You know?

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Yeah, that is weird. Well, you said that a good
way to see if she's cheating could be to call
her from the district office and say that we're looking
for somebody to nominate one of the teachers of the
year and there's a cash prize included. Because I mean,
if she nominates the other teacher, that could say something,
because I mean you would think she would nominate either
herself or you.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Right, Yeah, I think it could be like a setup
to kind of open up why she would nominate him.
Her sister wanted a couple of years ago, and it's
like a nice cat surprise, and we're trying to stay
for a vacation. So I think she'd be like, so like,
if if she knows we're trying to stay for a vacation,
then the logical thing would be for her to. You know,
we both get the money essentially, So that's that was

(04:13):
kind of why I thought that might work.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Yeah, that's a that's a great idea. All right, we'll
do that. We'll play a song, come back, and then
call her and see if she nominates you or she
nominates that other teacher. Get here to Catch Acheater next, it's.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Time to Catch a Cheater only on.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
The Jubil Show. If you're just joining us for today's
to Catch a Cheater. Leo is on the phone and
Leo thinks that his wife of three years might be cheating,
and we're about to call her and pretend to be
from the school district's district office where they both teach,
ask her if she would like to nominate one of
our teachers for the Teacher of the Year award, which
comes with the cash prize. We'll see if she nominates Leo,

(04:51):
her husband, or someone else. And Leo, why don't you
refresh everybody's memory so that people know who that other
else is.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Yeah, So I am Tom. He's another teacher at the school,
and I've just noticed that they always used to be
kind of friendly. He was a little bit flirtatious, but Leylee.
I've noticed the flirting coming back also, some like late
night texts that she claims her for school, but like
that's not something that she normally would kind of stand for. Really.

(05:19):
She usually hates some people text her at home. And
I did walk into the classroom at one point and
they kind of were uncomfortably close, So I thought it
might be something else. But after all the different pieces
of the puzzle came together, I have a sneaking suspicion
she may be cheating with Tom.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Okay, well, we'll call her right now and see if
she is. I'm sorry you're going through this, but you
find out the truth either way.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I hope. Yeah, that's hope.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
All right, man, here we go.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Hello.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Hi, this is Gorblecoll from district office. I was looking
for Camille, yes speaking. So I'm just calling around because
you know, every year we do the award for Teacher
of the Year.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Oh right, yeah, And I don't know.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
If you've been on the nominating committee before.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
No, I actually haven't.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Oh great, Well, this year, if you would like to,
we would like to hear who you think should be
the teacher of the year.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
Oh great, I can just pick anybody from the school
do I pick like multiple people.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Or we just asked for one nomination, you know, so
we call random people each year just to see whose
names get mentioned the most. Just want to see if
you wanted to nominate somebody. It's also okay if you
don't feel comfortable doing that.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
No, yeah, I would love to nominate somebody. Okay, great, Yeah,
I'd like to nominate Tom.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
And since I don't have, you know, everything in front
of you. What does he teach?

Speaker 1 (06:54):
He teaches history.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
What's the thing about Tom?

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Well, I just.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
Say that he's just always there to help, you know,
not even just to students, but like especially his fellow
teachers and whatever they need. He's always there for us.
He's just a great support system.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Okay, great, are you and Tom friends? I do have
to ask that.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
We're like friendly, we're coworkers, okay.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
But you're not romantically engaged. No, that's interesting to me.
Why only because I would figure you would nominate your
husband Leo.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Sorry? Who is this?

Speaker 3 (07:32):
My name is Jubal from a radio show. It's called
The Jubile Show.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Hi, I'm Nina also on the show. Hi, and I'm
Victoria also on this show. And your husband Leo is
on the phone.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Yeah, Camille, I knew you're cheating with Tom. I mean,
you're just like lying through your teeth here on the radio.
We are. I mean, you should just come clean like
you're caught. It's a shame we have to go through
all this, but like, honestly, I just wanted the world
to know what kind of person you really are, because
it's pretty it's pretty bad. I'm known for a week
and though I had a student come up to me

(08:05):
and said that, you know, he saw Tom kissing my wife.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Sorry, you had to come up to you and say
that he's what student? That's both students, Skyler Skyler.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Skyler came up to me and was.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Skyler came up to you. Did you know that?

Speaker 5 (08:22):
Did you know that Skyler was caught cheating on a
test last week and got a zero?

Speaker 1 (08:26):
So he's probably still pissed and making things up.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Both revenge against his futures for a cheating on a test.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
That's exactly right, that's it.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Come on, And why would he make that up? Why
would he make that up? He doesn't know what your
personal relationship is with Tom. I see it all the
time I walk into the classroom. You all bolt to
the other side of the room like like you were
set on fire. You get text messages at nine o'clock
at night. You used to get mad when your mother
called you at five point thirty. You'd be like, Mom,
it's so late. We've already had dinner. And now you're

(08:58):
getting nine o'clock text being it's about school. Of course,
it's about school. It's about the guy you're cheating on
me with at our school that we both work.

Speaker 5 (09:07):
About coworkers, I doesn't mean anything.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
It's work related. It's always a work related discussion. He's
a really good teacher.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
And it's embarrassing because literally every teacher is coming up
to me being like they're getting awfully clothes. Wow. If
that was my wife, i'd be I mean, it's just
it's it's awful for me. Can you imagine what it's
like to walk in there. I feel stupid? So, you
know what, instead of like going through that every day
and giving you the benefit of doubt and be like, no,
I trust my wife and all that, I'm gonna show

(09:38):
them who you really are. And you know, we're trying
to save money for a vacation and it's hard to
get by, and here you are nominating him for this
big cash prize that you yourself have been like, Oh, if
one of us got that, it would just change the game.
We could finally go on that vacation. I mean, it's
just fake, faking, I believe vacation.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Tom could really use the money.

Speaker 5 (09:59):
Okay, he's very we need money for a vacation.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Well, he has the same job as us, so if
he's barely getting back, he needs to figure that out.
That's not my problem. And I can't believe you know,
you'd accuse it a student of trying to get revenge.
That student, Skyler was just trying to do what was right.
He saw what he saw and he needed to tell
him that because.

Speaker 5 (10:20):
He got caught cheating and now he's trying to take
revenge and the pettiest way he could think of.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
I can't believe you would believe it.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
That's why he took a picture of it. That's why
I saw a picture of it.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Yeah, you're right. You know, Skyler is pissed about that happening,
and that's why he had no problem when I asked
him to follow you around and take pictures. You want a.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Students follow me around? What is wrong with you?

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Yep, let's not even talk about that. Let's just talk
about all the pictures I have of you making out
with him, picture upon picture upon picture. So I don't
know how you're gonna talk your way out of that.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
The meil the floor is yours.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
I don't know what you're talking aout.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
I have come here, I'll at home.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
There's definitely going to be a talk when we get home.
That talk will end up with the conversation about our divorce.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
You know what, I'm done. I'm done here. I'm not
going to talk about this on the radio. Okay, bye, yeah, okay.
Co h Man Leo. I'm sorry it sounds like you
already knew.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Yeah. Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I can't even
imagine having to look at that.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Yeah, it was not fun. It made me feel really stupid.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Yeah, you know that You're not stupid, though, right, Okay, Yeah,
I mean she's stupid.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
So, I mean she's stupid to get herself mixed up
in this, and it's like, fine, if that's what she
wants to do, that's her life. But we're moving on.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Good luck to you.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Thanks, thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Take care, let us know if you need anything.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
All right, I will for sure the Jewel shows to
