Speaker 1 (00:02):
Y'all know what time of y'all don't know, y'all back
all suit on the back down, giving them more like
theming buck things in its tub. Y'all good it. Steve Hart,
(00:24):
listen to the movie together for study. I don't join
(00:50):
join me in doing me. Honey, you gotta turn you
(01:25):
gotta turn to turnow, got to turn out, turn the
(01:47):
water the water come come on your face. Uh huh,
I show well, good morning everybody. You are listening to
the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
(02:10):
Steve Harvey got a radio show, Yeah man, got one. Hey.
You know, um, I thought I think of my life
in terms of blessings. You know, I take mostly a
positive approach and a positive spin to my life. I
hardly ever dwell on you know, the what's well. I
can't say that I don't think about the what's wrong
(02:32):
in it because I have to, because I have to
address problems as they arise. But I try not to
let them consume me. I let the consumption part be
about the blessings, the positive things that has occurred in
my life, the good things that God has done for me,
the power that He's displayed in my life, the protection
(02:54):
he's given me over the years to being tucked under
his wings. I focus on the things that he promises me.
I think of all all the goodness that I perceived
to come my way. I think that has a lot
to do with me learning more and more about the
law of attraction in terms of you know, what you
think and what you put out into space, and what
(03:16):
you pray about is what you receive, you know, and
so I've become better and better at that. It's not
to say that I'm I'm not human and I don't
have moments where I think a little bit too long
about what's going wrong and what enemy is about to
attack and what they're going to do and saying and
all of this is his. That's not to con say
(03:37):
that I'm not concerned about it. But I try to
duel mostly on the positive. And one of the things
that I learned, you can have an incredible life, all
of you, all of us. We can have incredible lives
if we just let God drive. See. The problem that
I had years ago was I was the driver of
(04:01):
my life, and I was taking myself into directions that
I thought would be best for me, and I aimed
at things that I thought I could accomplish, and I
set goals that I saw myself being able to attain.
I was driving when I gave up and I let
(04:21):
God drive. I then opened up my mind and my
spirit to what God had for me, For what God
could see for me, for what God could do in
my life, well, for what God wanted for me. Now
he wanted for me and he wanted of me. See,
(04:43):
that's the connection that you got to try to make.
Not try, that's the connection that you got to make
to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
be afraid of the what for of the what he
wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
be clearly as demanding and as offsetting as you think
it's gonna be. See. I thought that if I did
(05:05):
God's will, that if I let God tell me what
to do, that it would cause me to not to
be able to do a certain some things I wanted
to do well, which is true. But the stuff I
wanted to do was all detrimental to my well being
and my future and my growth and development as a man.
I was stopping my own growth as a man, because see,
(05:27):
I was doing what I thought I should do as
a man. But when you give it over to God,
to God has a much better plan for you than
you can ever have for yourself. And God knows a
better way, far better than the one you know. I
want you to believe that. Man, you gotta understand that
part of it. And that's the part that I finally
got through my head to let God do it his
(05:47):
way and to show me a better way, and to
teach me a better way and expose to me a
better way. And when I opened up my mind to
what God was talking about, I began to see things
totally differently, and things started coming to me totally differently.
If you've been a friend of mine or a fan
of mine over the years, I mean, you've had to
(06:10):
see it, the change. You've had to see the difference,
I mean, and I acknowledge that every chance I get,
because I promise God I would, and I hope that
I'm not falling short in that category. But then again,
if I told it all day long would he done
for me? I still wouldn't have enough time to really
explain thoroughly what He's done for me, because it's such
(06:32):
a continuous growth in me. But now that's not to
say that I'm finished or I'm done or I'm complete,
because I'm still short. And that's the cold thing about it. Man. See,
no matter how good you get at it, you ain't
gonna ever be the best you can be. You just
not because you're gonna fall short. You can't be him.
(06:54):
You can strive for perfection. I hear people saying it
all the time. I applaud you for saying you want
to be, but you ain't and you can't, and you're
not and you aren't and you won't and you will not.
So you quit saying it. You quit saying it to me,
quit saying it to other people. I'm seeking a life
of perfection, but it's something that you cannot have because
(07:17):
he said you can't do it. But that's what he'd
have for he'd have for the moments when you stumble
and you fall, and you go stumble and fall. So
you got to get that part right, man, to stumbling
falling part is coming. But see, you get God in
your life and it helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow,
roll over, laid their languish. That's what God is for
(07:39):
so when you stumbling fall, you get back up because
you're going to make mistakes. You're going to get it wrong.
You're going to come under attack, You're going to be
lied about, You are going to be falsely accused. That's
going to happen to you the moment you make a
decision to do better, the moment you try to be more,
(08:00):
the moment you try to get it right. The devil
got to send his attackers man, and he controls certain people.
He just got people as on his side twenty four seven.
You know him too. You've all met one or two
of them in your life. They're just busy with the
business of nothingness. They're just busy about to do about
(08:20):
the destruction of others. You said, I know him, you
know him. They coming. But here's what you got to
hold fast too. They can't take away nothing from you
that God gave you. They didn't make you. See people
who claim to have made you, if they're so in
to make you business, why don't they make theirselves? Or
(08:42):
if they ain't with you no more? And they're so
busy in them I made you business, why don't they
make somebody else? Since since you want to get credit
from making somebody make yourself. If you're responsible for someone
else's success, then you should easily be able to take
I ain't even be responsible for your own success. See,
(09:02):
be careful of that, and don't and don't don't change
your course because somebody is attacking you with that. You
keep doing what you're doing. I just hope, man, that
I'm giving it to God the way I said I
would give it to him, that I would unload every
chance I got that I was supposed to without being
you know, or here he come again. You know. I
try not to be that, but man, I don't know
(09:25):
what else to be. For the first twelve minutes of
my show. What else you want me to say? I
got four hours. I can't give God twelve twelve minutes, man,
I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man, I mean,
let's look at this right here. It's like, oh, for example,
it's like detox in your body, which is one of
the most healthy things you can do for your body
is to detox your system and clean out the pipes
(09:45):
and the liver and the blood and get it all together,
give your kidneys a break in all like this. Okay, right, okay,
But to detox it properly. It takes twenty one days, right,
And I hear a lot of people telling about twenty
one days I ain't got. But see, hold up, man,
if the twenty one days out of three hundred and
sixty days a year, you ain't got twenty one to
(10:06):
straighten yourself out, you ain't got twenty one days to
give yourself a better shot at health. I mean, that's
crazy to me once you wrap your mind around it. See,
And so like, if you're give an honor to God
just twelve minutes out the day, dog, he gave you
twenty four hours of luxury in life and breath and
hope and promise, you ain't got twelve minutes to give
(10:28):
him out the day. That don't make no sense. What
an exchange, What a wonderful life God has given me
in exchange for so small of effort that I put forth.
Don't let the effort you got to put forth to
God seems so dawning that you don't attempt to do it,
because man, it seems like a lot. It ain't nothing
to compare to what he'd be given us for real.
So if you want a real life, you want a
(10:49):
real shot at what you can be, what you can have,
what you can own, what you can become who you
really are. Go to God, let him fix you. Man,
that's all you're listening to show. Ladies and gentlemen, let
me this is a special day. We have two special
guests on the show today, uh who just take off
(11:13):
when they want to because you know they always you know,
you know, I have said in the past that I
wouldn't hide no more people like this, but I just
keep doing it. So, ladies and gentleman, First of all,
Shirley Strawberry, Hey, good morning, Steve. Thank you dollar Colin
for Rell. Good morning Steve, such a wonderful woman. Thank
(11:35):
you so much for joining us. Now you till me.
How are you feeling today, Man, I'm in the building,
Big John, I'm good. Good. Now, I've just put it
out of order, so to speak, because I got to
introduce two people to you, Two people who are constantly
in competition with one another, Two people who refuse to
be outdone about one another if one do something to
(11:57):
other and try to top it. So, you know, Jay
decided he wasn't feeling good, so he asked for some
time off and I granted it. Junior got sick and
at excuse to pun So Junior decided he wasn't gonna
(12:18):
feel good either. So we had two things happened on
this morning show. I'd like to apologize for the listeners
that's been asking where has Jay Ben was? Jay is
here and for the past few days asking where has
Junior been? Well, damman, we don't know either. So we're
(12:38):
about to find out. Ladies and gentleman. We call them
as you would say to your dogs, sick them. We
call them the sick them boys because they will pull
on on you. How to know where ladies and gentlemen? Junior,
Ye ain't sick me? I see that Anthony brown Back.
(13:06):
I didn't know he was gonna come back that day.
Had I known he was coming back to day, I
would have waited another day. It would have been all me.
I didn't I didn't know I had to ship my
coming back. Yeah that's what I don't like. Yeah, yeah,
well you did, yeah, bitter man. Yeah, this with me
in the building. You ain't fitting out sick him. You're
not gonna out sick man. Did he know you were
(13:29):
coming back to day? Jay? He knew? I told him
when I was coming back. Hell yeah, he told me.
He called me and told me he was coming back.
I said, okay, well it won't. You're Junior's out. He said, well,
I told Junior I was coming back. I said, with
Junior is still gonna be out. Oh am, I surprised
(13:50):
Jake when you out last year doing the cruise. It
was Tommy, you always out doing the cruise. Was this
cruise time? Yeah? He was out. Do you think he
tried to stow away? That's why we're bringing it up.
(14:11):
I can't tell if you got a tan because he
two dogs. Welcome back, Jake, my buddy, you were definitely missed,
definitely missed. Yeah, man, you can take over one of
these shows. Man, all the time you didn't took off
here these two slow as people on this show. Coming
(14:37):
up at thirty two after the hour, parenting pressure and Challenges.
We'll talk about some of our issues right after this.
You're listening to show. Well, yesterday we got off the air, guys,
Um the morning crew had a long, long discussion about parenting.
We're all dealing with some sort of parenting pressure or challenge.
(14:59):
Each one of us are dealing with something. It is
dealing with something. Some of us are parents of millennials.
Carl and Tommy are parents of young children. So guys,
let's just talk about parenting pressures in the different ways
of parenting compared to how our parents raised us. All right, Steve,
you can go first. Well it's not much. We need
(15:19):
something to drink. Kids, what time it is? We need
something something? I'm with you, and then you just gonna
make me first. You don't even let me warm up.
I just said get more than After this, I'll be
(15:40):
wanting to say good night. Man. I'm so sick of
my damn kids. You know what it is, man, it's
not comparisons to how it used to be. It's just that,
you know, it frustrates you as a parent because, oh
my goodness, everything you pull into your kids and when
they move out to the the house they do something that
(16:00):
you distinctly remember telling them, don't do it to you. Yeah,
but and there is a thing in them that thinks
they know more than you. And now hit the ass
go when you put it like that, weren't we just
like that? Though? Don't give a damn if I was,
(16:23):
because I distinctly remember my mom telling me things and
me doing them anyway, thinking I knew everything. When I
turned eight. Kids are doing stuff as grown ups. Yeah. See, Sherley,
you're trying to change his question. We're talking about our
damn kids. But I just want to make sure that
base is covered. Timmy talking about his kids, I'm talking
(16:46):
about mind you talking about yours. Carlin gonna talk about hers.
The carl the only one got want to stay at
the house. Okay, First of all, you need to calm down.
I got to calm down because I am not your kid.
Let me say this. Let me say so, here's the
big problem that I had. They feel like it's this
sense of entitlement, like like I owe you something. Yes,
(17:10):
that's what bothers me, like I owe you like but
not only do you think I owe you something? You
don't want to take direction from me, but you still
want me to give you something. That really gets me
is the phrase you haven't done anything for me. That's
when that's when you n want to snap. Every time
the phone rings, it's not HI, how are you mom?
(17:32):
It's mom? I need gas? Mom? Uh? I mean are
you answering the phone? Because you never know? You gotta
answer it if your kids call you. Guys, don't answer
the phone when your kids called, stop my mama. Yeah,
I have to answer it. Yeah I have to answer it.
But yeah it's so you have to. Yeah, I play
(17:58):
and call all. It won't it's if I feel like
I should have had a son. Huh Right, And Shirley,
here's the thing. You call your son and he don't
answer the phone that you bought, you pay for you pay,
I'm not asking your damn calling, or you ain't ready
(18:20):
to come over here calling. You'll be here in a
co few years. You ain't ready for this. And I
keep getting I know, mom, I know, mom, I know Mom.
I know Mommy, I know I know Mom. Over don't know,
you don't How the hell could you? Guys? I know,
I know, I know Mommy, I get that. I'm gonna
(18:42):
do you get this or there you go with dad?
Oh you got to bring that up again. Okay, you
don't bring that up again. Well, what are some of
the issues though, that you guys like, compared to when
we were kids, Like, the problem is we ain't whooping
they asked the way we got that's the problem. Yeah,
that of course, And they didn't work as hard as
(19:03):
we worked. They just didn't right, And social media, you
got he is the core of what has happened. Shirley's
absolutely right. Social media has a lot to do with it it.
We're gonna talk about that in a second. All of
us have worked very hard to give our children a
better life than the one web, and in that it
created a level of comfort that we didn't ever have
(19:27):
growing up. And it created a level of expectation that
we didn't have growing up, and a sense of entitlement.
And they just have not had to work near as
hard to get the simple things that we got because
we gave it to Steve, I asked my daughter, Okay,
(19:49):
I'll just say this quickly. I asked my daughter when
she was getting her car, what kind of car does
she want? She said, a Range Rover. She did not blink,
she did not you know what, what did you say? Yeah? Well,
I think whatever problem they're in, whatever financial problem they're in,
(20:13):
to solve, it doesn't involve work. It's a phone call away. Yes,
how am I gonna get out of this? Right? Let
me just let me just that's exactly right. That's exactly right.
And like I always say to people, what money does
is having money makes all emergencies become mere inconveniences, And
(20:35):
it's not that you have to have a ton of it.
You just have to have enough to get them past
their emergency and turn it into inconvenience them down boards
and mind down that more house. If them stupid ass,
I said, can you read it's said no park, It's
it's got a picture over toe Trump towing the cart
(20:59):
and yore dumb parked. Now you're talking about I can't
believe they told my car that day. I'm sid I know,
It's just do you know how many times I got
that car out of toe? And then when when I
told him they wasn't getting no car until the second
(21:20):
year of college, Margie went behind my back and let
him hand a car. Now I heard them talking because
I gave him a truck for Trump. They told they
I heard them talking about. I wanted a Cadillac Escalate,
a Candidac, my damn Candidac, my dream car when I
(21:43):
was eighteen. Boy, all right, we gotta get out of here.
Kelly up next, more fun with the nephew and run
that Frank back. Welcome back, Jay, We'll be back right
after this. You're listening to come up at the top
of the hour. In Entertainment News, Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle
(22:03):
Union support their eleven year old son at the Gay
Pride Parade, and so Lunge has canceled her Coachella date.
But right now, the Nephews in the building with run
that prank back. What you got for us, neph My
roommate Benny, My roommate Bennett. It was loud in my ear.
It's Frank time. Everybody know, it's Frank time. Get ready,
(22:25):

is Benny? Spinny? Is my bird? My parents? That's Benny
Be talking like man, stop going me di listen mine

m bird that feeling? Man, I don't have fity two years,

(29:56):
all right, nehew, all right, well listen. Coming up at
the top of the hour, we're gonna have some entertainment
news for you. Like I said, Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle
Union are in the news as well as Solange. We'll
be back right after this. You're listening to this day
(30:16):
show and entertainment news. Gabrielle Union Wade is supporting her
eleven year old stepson with pride. On Sunday, Gabrielle and
her family got all decked out in their rainbow gear
for the Miami Pride Festival in support of their son,
Zion Wade. Unfortunately, Dwayne Wade wasn't able to attend the
(30:37):
parade because of the Miami heat. They had an away
game in Toronto, but he shared his pride on social
media for all to see. Zion had his own cheering
section today. D Waite said on Instagram, wish I was
there to see you smile. Kid. Zion's older brother Zaire
also showed some love on the internet and told his followers,
(30:58):
love you, little bro. No matter what. People on social
media are praising Dwayne and Gabrielle's positive approach to parenting,
with some saying the celebs or parents to look up to. Wow,
that's nice. Yeah, that's their son. Yeah. They do seem
like very loving parents, especially little baby they have and
(31:18):
everything very loving. All right. I can't say nothing about
it because I'm still mad at my damn boys by
asking for that damn Cadillac Escalator, that twenty whatever it's
still burning. Damn Cadillac escal ain't working nowhere. Talking about
(31:41):
a damn Cadillac escalator felt yeah, you you you you what? Tim?
I'm glad you didn't buy it? Did you buy? That's
too much? Yeah, that's too much. You got in trouma
asking for bust them when we would come out, Wow,
(32:02):
I didn't look at me. They looked at me like
I had lost my damn bike. Were you going to
get out there and run for a run to the school?
It was just four blocks away. One y'all asked for glasses,
they ask got mad at that need to see. I
(32:25):
don't see this having it squint biggest in words? Is it?
Alice and Jerry Books. Yeah, we were really raised different
these kids today, that is for sure. In other entertainment news,
Solange has canceled her performances at Coachella. Uh you know, um,
the music festival tweeted due to major production delay, Solange
(32:47):
will unfortunately no longer be performing. She sends her sincerest apologies.
Coachella is a major festival. It's had held outside of
Los Angeles, um over two weekends in the California desert.
This year. A headliners are Ariana Grande and Childish Gambino
Kanye West will bring his gospel choir to Coachella for
a special outdoor Easter Sunday Sunrise service. So um in
(33:11):
the in this particular story, she didn't say why, but um,
we understand her band is sick. Yeah, her a lot
of members of her band, uh was sick. And so
she I think it's like the last weekends and a start.
They're at the end of ye, it starts this weekend,
(33:33):
well and the next weekend and the SMA one drum
out here. There's got to be some en. She wants
to do it with a pin night quill. She wants
to do with the people. She's comfortable with them. Sure,
replacing them, she said, I mean she's an artist, by
the way. Yeah, yeah, she's an artist. Yes she is.
(33:54):
And so you know, in her own right little track,
let's do the track. Get the track you're listening to.
Felicity Huffman has pled guilty in the college admission scandal.
Felicity Huffman, fifty six of Los Angeles, paid Rick Singer
fifteen thousand dollars to rig her daughter's SAT test. The
(34:14):
girl had twice the amount of time as normal to
take the exam, and the proctor corrected her answers. Afterwards,
she released a statement Felicity did saying I accept full
responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that
stem from those actions. She continued, I am ashamed of
the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends,
(34:36):
my colleagues, and the educational community. And as for sentencing,
no word yet. But what she did does carry some
jail time up to twenty years, possibly a day injured
the prosecutor's office, the prosecutors want them to do prison time,
but it's the judge's call. We all know that. But yeah,
(34:59):
who judge in the day? Is it the one Trump
just put in there? Who judge? This ain't no Supreme Yes,
it hasn't gone all the way up there, Tommy. Like
I said, the maximum sentences twenty years. The judge has
the final say. So. Laurie Laughlin Becky of course from
full House and Fuller House and her husband were not
part of that plea deal. So this so so she
(35:25):
took a plea deal. Felicity did guilty. Well, hold up now,
I mean what I'm asking is it a plea deal
or she played guilty? She played guilty, all right, so
now they have to determine you know what, she what
her outcome will be. Okay, so she's she's opted not
to go to trial. It sounds like she played guilty
(35:47):
and she's waiting to see what her sentence. But yeah,
that's yeah, punishment will be he and now the prosecutor
has recommended time twenty years. They want her to do
some time. It is up to the judge. Yeah, man, y'all,
I can promise you ain't but my child that that
(36:08):
couldn't well, you know the part that gets me understand
that you want your child to have a better life.
You want your child in top quality schools. Here's the problem.
If your child doesn't qualify in the normal route to
get into them top level schools, how's your child gonna
(36:29):
get that in the school and compete? That's the part
our daughter. So if you got to buy this test,
these results, how many more tests you're gonna have to pay?
Because a ain't the hard part. The hard part is
all them classes, Yes, four years of classes. You know
how much money you're gonna have to spend. Well, but
if you're giving money, they don't care if you go
(36:50):
to class or not. You're past you go now that
you set a mouthful right there, Jay, that is the
absolute truth. And I mean, look at all the people
have who weren't caught, who have degrees and all this stuff.
You know, all right, we're moving on coming and I
didn't get called augated degree. Coming up at thirty four
(37:14):
after the hour, R Kelly is open to a follow
up interview with Gail King. Robert, what he going back? Robert,
you're listening. Well, if you had any doubts about R.
Kelly being delusional, get this okay. He actually thought the
interview he did with Gayle King was good for his image.
(37:36):
Do I need to repeat that? R Kelly actually thought
that the interview he did with Gail King was good
for his image. Did he see it? Was he there
all right? In fact, he's actually considering doing a follow
up with Gail King? Gail said, yeah. Gail said she
reluctantly called his team after the interview aired to see
(37:57):
how they were feeling about it. They were like, look,
we're so glad you called. They were really pleased, she said.
They thought people got to see how passionate he was,
they got to see his pain, and maybe they got
to look at it in a different way. You know what,
he's gonna do what he gonna mess and talk his
(38:17):
ass right into prison. Because man, if you thought that
was a good interview, man, it's something wrong with you.
It's it's really man. And he's he's got bad people
around him. Because if if you think another interview, another
follow up interview, see your passion. Brother, I'm telling you, man, somebody,
(38:38):
somebody's advising him all wrong now, and and he's done
some things that's that's crazy too. Now, so you've done
some things that's crazy. You're being accused of something that's crazy.
And then your interview was crazy. Well, he doesn't see
it that way, Steve with you, hey, man, let me
tell you what's gonna happen, man, And really, man, they're
(39:00):
gonna end up in a trial because he's not gonna
take a plea and he's gonna go up on the
stand in his own defense because he has that type
of mindset and it's gonna be lights out, manow all right, Well,
one more thing. Steve R. Kelly did a paid club
gig in Springfield, Illinois over the weekend, or Springfields Illinois
(39:23):
as he called it. Yeah, apparently it was. It was
lined up back in December before the Surviving R Kelly
document aired. Documentary documentary aired. Sources say the tickets were
originally one hundred dollars but dropped to fifty dollars. Only
about fifty people showed up. R Kelly was social media.
Was on social media before his club gig asking the
(39:45):
media to take it easy on him. Take a listen, yo,
this ship boy calls and I got an event to
do tonight in Springfield, Illinois. So I want the media
to take it easy on me. Man. This is how
I got to get paid now for right now. So
I gotta go do this event. And it's a party.
So when you see me in the club with a
couple of drinks in my hand and chilling, please take
(40:09):
it easy, appreciate it, y'all. Thanks. Yeah wow, Yeah, yeah,
that's where we've come down to, Robert. It ain't nobody
in his camp. There's nobody where is y'all? Come on, dog? Yeah?
(40:33):
Yeah no, the noted blank you ain't that dude? You? Yeah? Yeah? Who?
He needed social media? Who filmed it and who posted
him with? Yeah? Say that, but you're asking. I mean, man,
(40:56):
I don't understand that I really really don't. Something's wrong, man,
I mean, well, I'm not well, I know something's wrong,
but I mean, man, you you know, it's the only
way I got to make money right now, smashing y'all,
you know, take it easy. Oh man, gonna have a
couple of drinks in my hand. Okay, fifty people, m
(41:17):
fifty people, Yeah, at fifty dollars at times, y'all stand
out with fifty people in there? You want just fifty
times fifty twenty five? Yeah? Wow. Well he's currently free
on a million dollars bail after being indicted on criminal
(41:37):
sex abuse charges with underage girls back in February. So yeah, wow,
where's this going? Man? Yeah, yep. I just can't believe
he thought that interview with Gail went well. And I
can't believe another yea. Yeah. Let me tell y'all some mote.
(41:59):
I'm so glad you called Kale. I still had Biga knights,
and some of the knights I have had to Jay's body.
Oh my god, Oh my god. All right, I'm next.
It is a nephew with the price phone call. Welcome
back Jay. Right after this blood, you're listening to Morning
(42:21):
Show coming up at the top of the hour. Right
about four minutes after it's my strawberry letter for today.
The subject turned off and on at the same time.
But right now, nephew Tommy is here with today's prank
phone call. What you got for a snap? You know? No,
I say, Deborah Kite, Yeah, but you'll be making me
feel like uncomfortable with my delivery. So I said, you know, see,

to say to you before I get off the phone.
What's a fake? Because you waste in my minute. This

you have to do is click some mint Strawberry letter.
That's it. Buckle up and hold on tight. We gotta
put you in Strawberry letter. Man, you made sexy. Buckle up,
hold on tight, we gotta put you here. It is
(52:14):
Toberry Letter subjects subject turned on and off at the
same time. Dear Stephen Shirley. I am in my early
forties and I've been happily married and faithful to a
wonderful man for nine years. My husband says he likes
the fact that I am a wonderful mom and wife,
(52:34):
and I keep it classly classy until I am behind
closed doors and I turn into his super freak. The
last two years, my sex drive has been in overdrive.
My cravings for sex drive me so crazy that I
have left work to meet my husband at home during
the day so I could get some relief. The thing is,
(52:55):
my husband does not share my sudden urges to have
sex all of the time. He usually he's usually tired
after work and wants to cuddle, but that's it. To me.
That is selfish and a complete turn off. So I
end up pleasing myself while I fantasize about other men
and women that have flirted with me. Yes, other men
(53:16):
and women flirt with me regularly, but I haven't entertained
any of their at any of the advances because I
value my marriage and I love my husband. In addition
to always wanting to have sex, I am constantly watching
porn now, and it's a problem because I have started
comparing sex with my husband to what I see in videos.
(53:36):
I am starting to get bored all together with my husband. Lately,
nothing he does really turns me on. I only get
turned on from my fantasies. I have come clean with
my husband about the porn and my desire to be
even freakier than we already are. My husband says that
there may be something wrong with me, but he's not
(53:56):
interested in a threesome or swinging, so I need to
had some help. Isn't he supposed to help me work
through these types of issues so I won't cheat on him?
How do I think? How do you think I should
handle this? Please advise? All right, you might be a
dream wife to some guys, you know, you might be
(54:17):
a dream and then some like your husband, he might
think that something is wrong. You know, I think you're
going really really fast here. You just said you're happily
married to a wonderful man. Then two paragraphs down you're
calling him selfish and a complete turn off. This is
your issue. You know the fact that you're in your
(54:39):
forties and you're at your sexual peak. I mean, that's
what happens to women. So you can't blame your husband
if he's not quite there or not there at all.
Your marriage needs to make these necessary adjustments. Yes, a
lot of marriages have one partner wanting it more than
the other. So you got to make some sort of
(55:01):
adjustment and come meet in the middle somewhere. You just
have to Instead of seven times a day, seven days
a week, you gotta narrow that down where you both
can get something out of it. The poorn situation here
could very well be a problem. You wanting to swing
and have threeesoms. That is going to be a problem
(55:21):
in this marriage because your husband is not on that
same thing. You gotta sit your husband down. You guys
need to talk about this situation before it really gets
out of hand. All right, Steve All, it's already out
of here here it is. It's already turned on and
off at the same time. Well, you ain't talking about
(55:44):
your husband, or aren't you, because you ain't turned on
by him no more. You just turned off what you
turned on by some other things. Let's get into the metal.
The last two years sex driveing in overdrive for them.
You gotta have it all the time. You didn't left
your work to meet your husband and off during the day,
(56:05):
so I could get so relieved. Now in order for
your you to go home, your husband he got drive
home too, So now he just going back at forth.
Y'all got two cards just burning up games. Now he's
looking at the money side of it too, probably and
it ain't add enough. The thing is, my husband does
not share my sudden urges to have sex all the time.
(56:30):
He's usually tired after work. You know that's what people
do when they get home work. Do you know they
be tired? They just be tied because they've been at work.
Most people tied when they get home from work. It
can happen. And he just want a cud because he tied. Now,
(56:50):
you didn't set up here and said to me that's
selfish and a complete turn off. Hell, he has a
turn off, especially if you turned on it, you little
red hot firecracker. All of a sudden, you're just up
in here. You've been the perfect wife, and all of
a sudden you're a little freak, and all of a
sudden you freak everywhere because now I guess what you're doing.
You end up pleasing yourself while fantasizing about other men
(57:12):
and women that have flirted with me. Yes, other men
and women. I heard you. You didn't have to repeat
it twice, but I'm glad you did. So now you
want us to know that everybody, won't you except him? Hum,
now we're moving into the direction. Now, So now you're
(57:33):
fantasizing about men and women. You're all over the place.
He he didn't know this, you know, you know, when
you've been married for nine years, faithful, he ain't know
nothing about this other side you developed into this person.
Oh could it have been that you've done some of
this in your past and then you got married and
(57:53):
shield out and it all came back, Old Crocker. Oh,
you see what I'm saying. It then all came back.
I don't know if these are brand new thoughts. I
think this is something that's been buried deep in your
psyche all along, because now you're looking at everybody. But
(58:16):
I haven't entertained in the advances because I value my
marriage and I love my husband. But you are entertaining
them though. You just said you was pleasing yourself fantasizing
about other men and women. What you what you think
it's going to go? Huh? You thank you for to
leave all this in your head. You think that you're
(58:38):
Finn to just keep fantasizing about these other men and
these women, and he still ain't with it, and you
think that it's gonna stay right there. In addition, I
always want to have sex. I'm constantly watching pawn now,
and it's a problem because I've started comparing sex with
my husband when I see in videos were he ain't
in the video because your husband ain't a pawn star,
(59:00):
he ain't wild thing. Yeah, he ain't thunder the Plumber,
he ain't the route the root of mad. Come on here, boy,
he ain't the pool boy that don't need a net
on long stick. Come with it already, Hold it right there, Steve.
(59:21):
We'll have part two of your response coming up in
twenty three after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters subject turned
on and off at the same time. We'll get back
into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
Let's recap today's Strawberry letter and get to your part
(59:41):
two subject turned on and off at the same time. Yeah, yeah, lady, yeah,
and here you are. Here, you are forty. Then turn
into a little miss hottie all of a sudden, Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
now you miss hottie. Now you got to have it
all the time. Your man don't want it all the
(01:00:03):
time because he's coming into work and it turns you off.
Can he tie now to turn you off? Time you
start pleasing yourself with poorno or is that right now?
And now you fantasigning about the other men and women
that hit on you all the time. So you think
you fine to everybody, everybody but your man. So now
(01:00:24):
you're man. Now you try to tell me that you
ain't entertained any these advances because I value my marriage
and I love my husband. But you have entertained them.
It's called fantasize it. So you entertaining all the men
and the women that hit on you. Now you just
have been a pleasure in yourself. Ain't that wrong with it?
(01:00:46):
But that's what you're doing. Yeah. The in addition, I
always want to have sex. I'm watching pawn now and
it's and it's a problem because I just started comparing
sex with my husband. What I see in how to
told you your husband ain't in the video. He ain't
thought with the big hamlet. Yeah he ain't, ye man, Yeah, here,
(01:01:16):
he ain't none of these he ain't none of these.
He ain't Captain Marvel. Yeah, coming up in there with
a shielding. He ain't spider Man swinging from building the building,
scooping down, getting your weab, getting you tangled up in it.
He ain't none of that. He ain't Batman with you.
He ain't just popping stuff up around his way. Try this,
(01:01:37):
look at this. We want to see that. Watch this,
hold this, touch that, put your leg over the squeeze that,
press this button, watch this, shut that swing up, watch
this ship Bam boom bam. You ain't getting none of that.
You ain't getting none of that. Yeah, so now you
know he ain't to hunk. Oh, he ain't the big
(01:02:00):
green man strong he heard calag He ain't sam He
ain't even about Samson. He ain't. He won't even be
David with a little sling shot coming here and kill
a giant. He ain't none of that. Now you're at
the house with the direct opposite. I want to cuddle. Now.
(01:02:24):
You hurt. You hurt now because your husband ain't what
you see in them damn video. You get turned on
from my fantasy. I've come clean with my husband about
the point and my desire to even be freakier than
we already are. So now you've retching this to your husband.
(01:02:44):
He's sitting there looking at you like you're crazy because
that your husband said that they may be something wrong
with you and he's not interested in a threesome all swinging.
So now you didn't want to tell your husband that
you wants a threesome? Nolen't talk about that in it.
But the swinging though, the swinging mean y'all gonna get
(01:03:04):
another couple? And why he would huh you with him? Oh? Stop,
hold on, wait a minute, somebody about to come and
get it. Then you got sold, opnosist. See NW, you
have introduced it. You have introduced a duntry into the relationship.
You want to call in swing now see you two
(01:03:26):
while it is something wrong with you? But why this
swinging come from? Yea? Now, now let's get back to
the threesome because that's now you talking about another woman
in the room. You're gonna introduce that into your marriage?
You really you really want to try that? Ain't threesome?
(01:03:48):
You got to be talking about another Well, y'all't just
saying I'm saying you gotta be talking about another What
you can't do and bring somebody else in here? That's
un zipping and they passed. That can't happen. You know
you're you're awaking to bear hill le Now you don't
winner head high to dude from the point on video.
(01:04:10):
Now he in here three times the man, I am
we're not fitting to have that here and Hill curtis
standing over that nket looking like I can't do that myself.
(01:04:30):
Thank you, Thank you so much, sir. We do our jobs,
and you know you might be all right. I ain't
saying you ain't blessed. I ain't saying your husband ain't blessed,
but you know he could be, you know, like Oscar
my boy. But then you know you're winning there and
bought somebody in this house that you know what that
standing on there like he holds a canna air freshness.
(01:04:53):
See them two different peoples. Now, whoa you got Oscar
my boy? Over there? You got glade man, and on
the other hand, something to happen. I'm just saying I
ain't saying nothing. Ain't being graphic. You can read what
you want to read into it. Man, Now, isn't he
supposed to help me work through these types of issues,
(01:05:13):
help you with some more damn people? Ain't nobody fitting
to do that so I won't cheat on him. You
all ready and cheated on him. You've already suggested that
you bring another person in and y'all cheat together. How
do you think I should handle this? Please? Advice? You'venna
lose your manage. That's what you're finn to do, and
(01:05:35):
that's what you're finn to do because you're finna introduced
something to the game that he don't want, and that's
what you're fit to do. Your wild thing. You go ahead,
you don't just got real tricky all of a sudden.
Now I would like to come back and do a
reenactment because back is here, because Jay is back. Yeah,
(01:05:58):
and if he can remember, he's supposed to give me
a chance to talk to and to reenact miss out.
I'm I'm just saying away for a long time. And
the obviously he ain't been telling jokes. So now he's
gonna come and try to dominate and ain't gonna let
the hoof or say nothing. Pat King, alright, already know
(01:06:23):
how you do re enact me? That's why I don't
ask for him much. Well, come on with yeah, all right,
this is a news start all right. Look it looks
like we're gonna have Part three of the Strawberry Letter,
but listen. You guys can instagram or us your thoughts,
your email us your thoughts on Today's Strawberry Letter at
Steve Harvey f M. Coming up in ten minutes. Part
(01:06:45):
three of Turned On and Off the reenactment right after this.
You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here we are
back with part three of the Strawberry Letter, Turned On
and Off at the same time. Here it is Jay
is wanting more and I want things to stay the
way they are. Right, actor, could you get that hot
(01:07:08):
breeze off the stove and come up there and take
your shirt off on to show you something? All right, baby,
I'm here. What's happening? Well, it's just not it's not
freaky enough, you know. I want I want thankings and
the heart like you're angry at me. I want I
want thankings. No, wait a minute. Last week, we had,
(01:07:30):
you know, a filming going on in here, and I said,
I didn't want to do that, but I let you
sit there. I let you I saw you at the
tripod and I helped you set it up. And now
you're talking about bringing what you you want some grease.
I want hot grease, not just regular baby looks somebody
(01:07:51):
gonna get hurt. That's what all the damn grease. And
then a week before that, what what okay, what did
you do with the monk? The monkey was very disobedient.
I mean, he didn't play along with what we was
trying to do. Well, he's a monket baby, what you
expect him to do? Holo jazz? But it was something
I wanted, and well we tried to get it, and
(01:08:14):
I bought the monkey. Now the monkey didn't work out.
So now with okay, okay, so right here, like I
know this, I know this is sudden that I think
if you went got the monkey again and we could
talk to him and explain what we're into. Now, that's
the same thing you had in there when I bought
all that bunney for it. Now, I bought the bunney
for there, and you asked me for that, and and
(01:08:38):
and then and then we had the bunnet for meetings
in there, and next thing I knew we had it
was just it was just baby all all over. You
went all out. But I just you know, it really
made me feel bad about it. I had to think
about all the bunnies whose tails you ripped off. Just hey, baby,
(01:08:59):
listen to me. I'm gon just tell you right now,
distant just got way out of hand. You ain't never
been this wild before. What's her name? Whose name? Your wife? Oh?
I thought you were talking about that. I thought I
thought you talking about the mornket name was a boy
and the boy name Cheetah? Your name? What's her name?
(01:09:19):
Lou Sender? That's my name? Don't wear it out? How
can I see? I need you to just, you know,
dig down into your nastiness. That's what I need you
there you go, ce Ce Lou Senders? Where's all this
(01:09:41):
nasting this coming from? See? You've been in there watching
the Point No movie? And I told you I don't
do all that. You're just doing too much. Now now
now we already in here. You know you wait, ain't
what it was? You broke a pool t I know,
I know, kid can't shoot pool no more? And broke
dawn pool ten. We didn't. Then then you saw that
(01:10:01):
other video from that girl off that housewife show and
you tore all the shower rows down. It look like
a fun thing to do. That's oh, it looked fun.
But I'm telling you you you got a little more
weight on it than that girl. Did you absolutely mad?
So it would just take more stove grease. He did
have a perfect temperature. Do you rub all over and
(01:10:25):
spank me hard? That's not much, but see that going
along with it, you know weak fold last when you
had we was in the bath flom and you had
your head. Me stick my foot in the toilet and
keep flushing it. And I was trying that and that
was crazy. Man, my pull my foot out. My foot
(01:10:45):
looked like a prune. It's all shrive them up. I
didn't like that. I didn't had my foot in that
toilet that kept flushing over and over and over because
you like to sound rushing water. The one time, I
really have to thank you for really going all out
for me and I know it's uncomfortable, but you did
it because you care. You put cotton candy all over
your body and it was It was amazing. It was amazing.
(01:11:11):
Way to play the game. Actor participate boy, Lucindy, you
saw mel digit getting out of hand. Now, now let
me tell you something. I already told you what I
go do next week. We're supposed to take the week. Also,
I give myself together, because you know, I told you
I want to get myself together. So then you're gonna
come in here and you out and already ordered the
stuff for next week. What you got, I got the
(01:11:33):
little kids red wagon that I'm bringing in. We're gonna
we're gonna be in here with a little red wagon
and out and hide two little people. So good. Now,
I don't know what we've been doing here with the
two little people and this day red wagon with the
gay tony. Now I'm trying to rest up for that.
(01:11:58):
Ain't a girls steamer up? Don't get steaming him? Because
I hired them two little people from what's that TV
show with the women? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I had a
little I hired them from Little People, Big World next
(01:12:19):
week to see how your game is. Okay, well, okay,
I'm just telling your baby, let me slow some of
it down. And what I cannot hear you doing it
introducing other peoples in him, because I don't. I don't
don't do all that. Oh I don't really like the people,
you know, and the monkeys. I can deal with the monkeys.
And we had a chicken in him last month. That
(01:12:41):
chicken was a lot dumber because they kept packing all
the wrong places. Ou, I said the head boy, you
need to get your head weight from him. Willing to try, Lucinda,
I'm willing to try. Due, willing to try. Tell you
what they ain't gonna have what you asked me for?
Land What was that shot? Can't come up right now?
(01:13:06):
That's how you draw the line. Well, we're drawing damn
line right here. He's gonna being here there taking and
doing what you want to do. I can't control the shot.
What shack shot? Shot? Shaquille? What's going on? Listen to me?
(01:13:26):
How she got you on speaking speed? We gotta go
coming up at the top of the hour. We gotta
get out of here. Thank you guys for that re enactment.
Coming up, we'll talk NC double A right after this.
You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, guys,
(01:13:51):
this is your time to shine. Let's congratulate the NC
Double A men's champions. Come on, Junior, Yeah, congratulations to
the University of Virginia. Whatever. Okay, Well, you know y'all
have had it. You know, been a rough year for Texas.
So just hanging there. I'm from Cleveland, deal with it,
(01:14:16):
you know. Yeah, I mean it was a good game
they played, man, just wasn't meant to be no Virginia one.
Yeah they had it, Yeah, they had it. Well I
can't say they had it because if they had it,
they'd have had it. They had they have it. Dog,
(01:14:37):
if they had it, they'd have had it. They didn't
have it. No, they ain't have it. You know, they played. Man,
we had it, we'd have had it. We didn't have it. Yeah,
you know, and I don't really see no one play
that did it. I didn't. You know, they chanced to
win it in the corner it got blocked. That was great,
d you know, he took the shot that he's supposed
(01:14:59):
to take. But it was crazy. Man. But like I'm
gonna tell you something, man, like where okay, okay, man,
where was the game played at Minnesota? Because man, when
when when Virginia won, it didn't seem like that many
people in the crowd was going crazy. It wasn't that
(01:15:19):
many to me. They it didn't go crazy like I
thought it would go to win a championship. Yeah, but
it kept flashing back to Virginia in their in their stadium,
it's full. Oh yeah, you know that's what the students
watching the game. But m h, sameon love it from
Texas Tech. Yeah, right right, right right. And then the ladies,
(01:15:40):
the Baylor University Bears. You know the Lady Bears. They won,
but their game was in Tampa. I guess they played
different locations every year. Yeah, but man, the boys they
played the harder. They was heartbroken when they lost them.
They was hard on the floor, that's for sure. Yeah,
that's that's a good cliche. J Where to go? Well,
(01:16:01):
they play for the pros, the playoffs? Yeah, who you
got there? We got them. Damn Rocket's who you think
for you with the Rockets, gonna be real, real hard
to beat the Warriors, Mann, real, real hard. Every year.
(01:16:24):
It's gonna be real, real hard. Man. I don't see
nobody because there ain't nobody over there now coming out
to eat. Who y'all think gonna come out out to
where she y'all want Houston to come out to? W
I would love to see Chris Paul win one, Yes,
I really really will. I would love to see Chris
Paul and the hard and win one. Now. Who's gonna
(01:16:44):
come out the East Milwaukee? Yeah no, I don't know.
The Celtics not coming out to East. That's not gonna happen.
They're not playing great ball. A damn Milwaukee though the Greek.
I can't tek the Greek. And then Philly. You know,
(01:17:10):
Boston has the talent, they do, but they don't have
they don't have the guy. And the guy is really Kyrie,
but they don't give him the ball like he's the guy.
And I just I just think that youth is gonna
eat him up in the playoffs. He should have stayed. Man, man,
(01:17:35):
I guess you had to see huh, you had to
take that chance. A lot of times, when you want
to get out under the shadow of another person, you
have to remember one thing about the shadow. The shadow
is actually shade. Sometimes it's good to leave somewhere else.
(01:18:00):
We just about this basketball team right here. Everybody talking
about your radio career. Take your own damn cruise when
you walk through. We know why, but I think something
going on when you get sick at the same time
after crewise every year. Stevie's only been with us, always
(01:18:21):
a year. Yeah, you know, it's like it throw you
into something. Okay, what a lie of y'all? Yeah, yes,
said Virginia. Just be tech us. Would you lie to us.
You're the same dude. You should have a diary. What
does that meant? A long time? So we're gonna lead
(01:18:45):
up diary. Every damn thing, every damn thing was in
the man does that? Me and him a hole. Man
ain't know what man does. That him ain't know what
man does. And I'm in it, everybody in it. Oh man,
(01:19:05):
Then she found it. I'll be there. Wait what they
have a long time ago out thirty yards? Come on,
man always got to throw the lord in there some
kind of way. Then I'm over there trying to get
(01:19:26):
the diary. And then she gonna open it on show
me when I'm in it. Man, I tried to snatch
it out of hand. You knew, shut up line, you
knew y'all was together. I'll be Oh man, you're supposed
to keep a record or nothing. Man, Yeah, before phones,
(01:19:47):
before camera phones, exactly this when you had a little
black book, Nah, diary. It was a big note book.
I did have a log on it, pages and pages
and pages. You know the road as a comedian. Oh
(01:20:10):
you journal? Okay, Yeah, that's very therapeutic. And it would
have been great of it had just been about his
life as a commedian over the road. But it wasn't
just his damn life. His experience is gonna put my name,
and I'm over there asking the girl can we get
it back? She started reading chapters about me. I'm sing
(01:20:31):
he was with him. Maybe the main pages is we
were some games together. Yeah, did you try to grab
it and miss? Now? She wasn't. She was she was
going to back and bring a page out. So if
I had grabbed the book at that time, it would
(01:20:52):
have been breaking an inner. And so with them charges,
I just went on debt with us and she got
then get a page, bringing out, read it, go back
in there, bring another page out and read it to me.
Then one time she came out, I was gone, and
then she came out to read about the eighth page out,
just got old over left. This is going downhill? Oh man,
(01:21:14):
so you still got it? Weet it back? Well? That
was interesting, got it. We gotta get out of here, guys.
We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
after this. You're listening to show, all right, here's what's trending, guys.
(01:21:38):
You know, every once in a while, mother nature just
find a way to get even check this out. Uh,
there was there's this case where this rhino poacher who
broke into South Africa's Krueger National Park. All right, officials
say four perch poachers went in and only three came out. Now,
(01:21:58):
according to report, the unlucky fella the poacher was, Oh,
this is not funny, but he was stumped to death
by an elephant. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, well yeah before
lions way to get it gets even worse. Steve. First
he was stumped to death by by an elephant. Then
lions had their way with his carcass. Apparently there wasn't
(01:22:22):
even enough to identify the guy by So he's a
rhino poacher who got killed by an elephant and eaten
by lions. Well there's there's three more poachers that's out
of the poaching business. Wow yeah yeah they this they
last trip in the bush. Yeah, looking for rhino, leopard anything. Yeah,
(01:22:48):
this is funny because I want his ass get going
in here to kill this rhino so he can make
a couple of thousand dollars. Didn't rhino lose his life.
They're already in danger species yea, yeah, we should do
a reenacting. Well, Steve is the elephant and I'm the
interviewer as he's just had enough of it. Yeah, all right,
(01:23:09):
we are here in the bush. We are I love
that one. You can't do that all day, McCay. We're
in the bush with the elephant who took the three
pilchers out. What do you have to say for yourself? Well,
(01:23:31):
you know I was, I was learning my damn business,
isn't it Okay? Yeah? I know what they need? Three dogs,
kid Fellers come through. What I stay out here because
they're looking here. You know, anybody woll be out here,
but uh and here they can't afraid. Well I will
when you know, all three. And they had a girl.
But so I waited on the crotch down in the bushes,
(01:23:53):
and it was aiming. It was over there, all aiming
at my buddy, a raw school Ronald, and I've seen him,
and I said, well, I tell you what you shoot Rockle.
So I knock up on his ass called they would
paying close attention, and I bumped him. You know, I
don't take much from me and knock nobody down. And
(01:24:14):
you know what saying say. As soon as I bumped
in me fell and and then the other dogs and
the other three dogskin dude looked at me. All I
saw his eyes. Well, I swung around. He went up
with my ass. I don't know what happened here. He
wasn't flying. And then other dude looked scared because I
swung around or hit him with my ass. I swung around.
(01:24:35):
I ain't see the pole fellow, and I stepped on
him dead in the damn chest. But through all your fighting,
how is rosco oh rock on Rondo? He fine? Now
that fellow when I stepped in his chest, you know
how to kind of knocked the wind out of him.
And you know, I ain't saying I killed him because
I don't want to be up on no charge. Just
ain't and making anohing. You know what I'm saying, because
(01:24:58):
you know what I do. You right, well, you know
what I'm saying. What all I do with stefany chest,
I don't. I don't really know what happened. He would
alive when I left, right, you know, you know lasting
my big ant. Don't need to be in cold because
you know how they handed us. And when I stepped
in the chest and I walked off. Now I saw
the lines over there, I said, will you know, don't
(01:25:21):
look at the guns. Don't look like gonna be a
whole lot of evidence in the case. Hard hard to
get dinner records, Hard to get dinner record We want two?
All right? All right, We'll be back with more of
the Steam Harvey Morning Show right after this. Make the
(01:25:42):
elephant sound you're listening. And Entertainment news. Gabrielle Union Wade
is supporting her eleven year old stepson with pride. On Sunday,
Gabrielle and her family got all decked out in the
rainbow gear for the Miami Pride Fest of All in
support of their son, Zion Wade. Unfortunately, Dwayne Wade wasn't
(01:26:05):
able to attend the parade because of the Miami heat.
They had an away game in Toronto, but he shared
his pride on social media for all to see. Zion
had his own cheering section today. D Waite said on Instagram,
wish I was there to see you smile. Kid. Zion's
older brother Zaire also showed some love on the internet
(01:26:25):
and told his followers, love you, little bro. No matter what.
People on social media are praising Dwayne and Gabrielle's positive
approach to parenting, with some saying the celebs or parents
to look up to Wow, that's nice. Yeah, that's their son. Yes,
they do seem like very loving parents, especially the little
(01:26:47):
baby they have and everything very loving. All right, Well,
I can't say nothing about it because I'm still mad
at my damn boys by asking for that damn Cadillac
escalator About that twenty well whatever, it's still burning. Cadillac
(01:27:09):
ain't working nowhere talking about a damn Cadillac escalade. Yeah
you you you you watch on him. I'm glad you
didn't buy it. Did you buy? Uh? That's too much, Yeah,
that's too much. You got in trouble asking for bust
them when we were coming. Wow, I didn't look at me,
(01:27:33):
So I asked for a bike? When't you? They looked
at me like I had lost my damn a bike.
Were you gonna get out there to run for a
rod to the school? It was just four blocks away
out You don't need a ya one y'all asked for glasses,
they ask as mad at that need to see? I
(01:27:55):
don't see this happening? Quit biggest words? Is it then?
Alison Jerry Books, Yeah, we were really raised different these
kids today, that is for sure. In other entertainment news,
Solange has canceled her performances at Coachella. You know, um
the music festival tweet it. Due to major production delay,
(01:28:17):
Solange will unfortunately no longer be performing. She sends her
sincerest apologies. Coachella is a major festival. It's had held
outside of Los Angeles, um over two weekends in the
California Desert. This year's headliners are Ariana Grande and Childish Gambino.
Kanye West will bring his gospel choir to Coachella for
a special outdoor Easter Sunday sunrise service. So um in
(01:28:41):
the in this particular story, she didn't say why, but um,
we understand her band is sick. Yeah, her a lot
of members of her band, uh sick and so shelge.
I think it's like the last weekends and started at
the end of Yes, it starts this weekend, well and
(01:29:04):
the next weekend and they mona one drum of you.
There's got to be right between that. She wants to
do it with a pin night quill. She wants to
do with the people she's comfortable with. I'm sure replacing them,
she said. I mean she's an artist, by the way, Yeah, yeah,
she's an artist, Yes she is, and so you know,
(01:29:26):
in her own right little track. Let's do the track.
Get a track, all right, So we'll be back with
our last break of the day and some closing remarks
from our fearless leader, the one and only mister Steve
Harve day right after this. You're listening here, we are, Steve.
Last break of the day. Jay is back and then
(01:29:49):
Junior took the day off yesterday. He's back. Amazingly, they
came back on the same day and they're both well,
that's the most He's not going out seeking me anyway.
I know. I'm glad. I'm glad everybody's healthy and well
and back at work. And yeah, so Steve leave us
with some closing remarks, all right. You know, I want
(01:30:12):
to try to help people understand something about mistakes. I
think that mistakes are overrated. They really are. I think
that oftentimes the mistakes you make are misunderstood. I think
that the mistakes you make are not the failures that
(01:30:35):
you've let them mount themselves up to be. But what
mistakes actually really are are just valuable learned experiences. Mistakes
are actually experienced. You know, you you've got to become
experienced in life. You become experienced through mistakes. Mistakes are necessary.
(01:31:02):
Mistakes teach us how to get it right. Mistakes show
something in us that some people try not to make.
You see, when you make one, When you make a mistake,
you make a mistake because there was an effort put
forward in attempting to do something, and sometimes those mistakes
(01:31:25):
don't turn out the way you wanted it too. Now,
I'm not talking about you decide that you're gonna sell
dope for a living. I'm not talking about the mistakes
where you said I'm gonna go down here and rob
this bank. I'm talking about the mistakes that you make
in a righteous effort to move yourself forward. But I
(01:31:46):
gotta say this, though, even if you made the decision
once upon a time to sell dope or to rob
a bait, when you come through the other side, when
you pay your time, when you've you paid your dues,
when you've suffered the consequences, that too becomes a learned
and valuable experience. But instead, what some people do is
(01:32:12):
they take these mistakes, they sit in the confines of
the walls of a penal institution, and they decide that
what they learned was a better way to do it,
and I'll be damned if some people don't come out
and repeat the same mistake again because they think they
found a better way to do it. Not listen to me, man,
(01:32:34):
If you think that you found a better way to
do to commit the crime, don't you think the police
is out here finding better ways to solve them. Everybody
trying to prove their position, and I'm telling you the
law is going to win. So even then, man, come on,
you've got to take the negatives that happened to you
(01:32:55):
and turn them into a positive. I can show you, man,
people who used to be in the game on the
wrong side and got and paid the consequences and got
out and decided, you know what, I'm not gonna be
that I'm a better myself. And they took what they
learned from the mistakes and they turned them around and
they turned themselves into some pretty pretty good individuals. I
(01:33:19):
know a lot of people who were inmates who are
now outstanding people. But now let's look at the person
who makes a mistake that's trying to do something righteous.
You open up a business and it fails, You get
into a relationship and it fails. You have a baby,
(01:33:40):
and then you break up. But you still got to
be a father. You still got to be a mother.
You still have to do the right things. When you
make a mistake and you're trying to accomplish something righteous
and you fail at it, it's an experience that you
have to have. I'll give you an ex example in
(01:34:02):
the comedy business. You don't learn the comedy business from killing.
You learn the comedy business from them nights. You up
there bombing from them, knight, You up there not doing well?
From them, knight, You up that dying When there's thirty
people in the crowd on the A show and the
club on the decide to let the same thirty state
because he ain't sold no tickets for the B show
(01:34:24):
and he just hoping they buy another drink, but not
realizing you got to stand there and try to entertain
the same thirty people again. That's when you learn. You
learn from losing the basketball game, because now you got
to go back to the film room and you got
to see what you did wrong and then and then
correcting that mistake. It makes you better for the next opponent. See,
(01:34:47):
you don't. You don't get better at basketball because you
make the game winning shot. You get better at basketball
because you missed the game winning shot, because it pushes
you in the gym so you can train hard and
work harder. So if you're getting that situ and you
won't blow it again, it's called experience. Y'all. Stop letting
your mistakes define you and allow those mistakes to redefine you.
(01:35:12):
Let those mistakes redefine you, turn you into who you
really want to be, because you're gonna have to get
through the mistakes to get to where you want to be.
If you let every mistake you may crumble you, you
will never be built up to be who you need
to be. These mistakes are not to crumble you. They
are to solidify you. These mistakes are to ground you,
(01:35:35):
there to grow you. These mistakes are to strengthen you.
I've made so many mistakes. A lot of my mistakes
been public, and from all of the slings and owls
that come my way for my public mistakes, I still
