Twenty seven years after its release, Titanic still stands as
the top grossing movie of all time when DVD and
VOD sails are factored in, and it instantly transformed Kate
Winslet not only into a household name, but quite literally
one of the most recognized faces in the world. And
rather than lean into that and star in more huge films,
Kate chose mostly independent films moving forward. She explained why

you could have done anything, and you chose to do
these small things. And I was like, yeah, you bet
your life. I did because guess what, being famous was horrible.
I was grateful, of course, I was in my early
