Direct from Hollywood with Ryan Seacrest. A major crisis was
averted at Lady Gaga's concert in Rio on Saturday night
when police managed to thwart a planned terrorist attack, but
once Brazilian authorities were confident the risk was fully neutralized,
the show went on as planning. Gaga danced her way
into the history books by easily claiming the record for
the largest concert in world history by a female performer.

A staggering audience of two and a half million fans.
The free show, staged on Rio's iconic Copa Comvanda Beach,
was nearly a million more than Madonna's last year in
the same location in the previous record holder. Gaga was
understandably emotional after the show, writing a part on Instagram.
