The days of any old superhero movie arriving in theaters
to massive box office return seems to be a thing
of the past, with many recent entries underperforming unless they
feature marquee characters like Spider Man, Batman, or Wolverine. But
Marvel's latest release, Thunderbolts, shows that a good story with
largely unknown characters can still pack a formidable punch. After
the film raaked in about seventy six million dollars domestically

over its debut weekend, the first of the summer schedule,
on top of another eighty six million internationally for a
very respectable one hundred and sixty one million dollars overall,
and experts predict the movie will continue to perform well
based on its eighty eight percent Rotten Tomato score, and
they give an a minus and strong word of mouth.
