Direct from Hollywood with Ryan Seacrest, with this century officially
a quarter of the way downe Billboard just unveiled their
top Country Artist of the twenty first century.

It's not actually Taylor.

Taylor did finish at number three, and if she hadn't
extensively explored other genres like pop, she may have taken
that top spot, but it goes to Kenny Chesney number one.

Billboard looked at all its charts from January two.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
Thousand through December of twenty twenty four to determine the winner,
and Kenny stats got him there. Twenty hot country songs
at number one, seventeen top country albums, thirty country radio
number ones. And it's not only country that Chesney's dominated.
He also claimed nine number one albums on the all
encompassing Billboard two hundred. When Kenny logged his thirtieth country

radio number one, he summed up his unparalleled success by
deferring to his fans, saying, it feels like all the
people who love his music are winning just as much
as he is.
