Direct from Hollywood with Ryan Seacrest. The reboot of Friday
Night Lights sees the original show runner, many of its
writers and directors returning to tell an all new story
about the trials and tribulations of big time high school football,
which leaves open the chance of some of its cast
also coming back for either cameos or featured roles, including
Scott Porter, who played the star QB. Jason Street, who's
paralyzed in the pilot and eventually finds his calling as

a sports agent in New York City and Scott Tell's deadline.
He's open to returning, but a lot has to line
up for that to happen, saying I love the way
Jason's story ended. I think his final scenes in New
York tell you everything you need to know. I also
loved my time on Friday Night Lights, and I would
one hundred percent go back, but only if it serves
the story. I trust everyone involved it's going to be
just as special, if not even more than what we

were able to do. I'm looking forward to watching it
as a fan, and if they want me back, I'd
love to stop by and say Texas Forever once again.
