Getting into the Television Academy Hall of Fame, which honors
trailblazing performers, creators, and producers who left an undelible mark
on the industry, is by default a bit more challenging
to get into than most Hall of Fame, simply because
of the fact that they don't necessarily induct a new
class every year. Case in point, they haven't brought new
members into the fold since twenty twenty two, but they're
back at it this year with a star stud of

eight years hosting late night TV and one of the
longest runs in history. He'll also be the fourth Tonight
Show host to make the Hall multi hyphen at. Ryan
Murphy was chosen for bringing stories of marginalized people to
the mainstream, coupled with the success he's enjoyed in a
variety genres. Notable actors in the class include E. Goot winner,

Viola Davis and the guy best known as Bonzi, Henry Winkler,
who's also appeared in more than one hundred series. The
twenty seventh Television Academy Hall of Fame ceremony is set
for August sixteen.
