It might feel like just about every single successful TV
show imaginable is getting rebooted these days, but Brad Garrett,
one of the stars if Everybody Loves Raymond, one of
the most successful sitcoms in the nineties, just made it
clear they won't be returning. It is out of respect
for the magic that came with the original cast. Brad,
who played Ray's brother Rob, tells people the formula doesn't
exist without the late Peter Boyle or Doris Roberts, who

played their mom and dad, saying there's no show without parents.
They were the catalysts, and to do anything that would
resemble that wouldn't be right to the audiences or the
loyal fan base, and it's about those two families, and
you can't get around that. Thirty years later, I know,
I got very lucky to get on that bus. I'm
very grateful. That's Brad Garrett, who adds that opinion on
a reboot comes from Ray Ramono himself. The good news
for fans is every episode of Everybody Loves Raymond is
