Fans of Benson Boone are probably aware that his breakout hit,
Beautiful Things actually started out as two separate song ideas
before one of his producers, Lafront's Larson, suggested they combine them.
But Larson admits a variety he wasn't necessarily confident that
would work, and he learned a valuable lesson because of it, saying,
this was one of the times where I just blurted
out of thought before second guessing, and I've learned to

try and do that more often. I really think a
lot of magic comes from just saying your ideas before
you talk yourself out of them or think too hard
about them. It's not to say the idea to meld
the two melodies was necessarily easy. Benson Boone, Larsen, and
the rest of their team actually wrote twenty versions of
it before they landed on the version of Beautiful Things
that we know as.
