There may be no more iconic role to take on
as an actor than that of the Man of Steel
himself Superman. So it's unsurprising that when David corn Sweat
landed the role, he reached out to both men that
played the legendary superhero most recently for advice, Henry Cavill,
Man of Steel and Tyler hoakland on Superman and Lois.

But what is surprising is that both.

Former Clark Kentz refused to give David any tips. That
was for a good reason, David tells Hearts. Both of
them interestingly sort of said in their own words, I'm
not going to try and give you any tips.

And I think that's a very Superman thing.

Superman's not really kind of character that gives advice or
dictates how other people should be. They're really just conveying
encouragement and to have fun with it, which I think
is also Superman's way of doing it too. They were
very encouraging. I'm excited to meet them in person. It
will be great when we can all get in a
room together. Superman is in theaters.
