Direct from Hollywood with Ryan Seacrest. After what seems like
endless testing and speculation, I'm happy to report that the
reboot of Scrubs has finally received its official green light
and a plethor are. The original creative hive, both on
screen and off, is returning to rekindle the magic and
made the original run so popular. Perhaps most importantly, the
bromance at the hearts of the show between Zach Brapt

and Donald Faison as doctors Dorian and Churk, respectively, is
alive and well. Both stars have signed on to return,
as has Sarah Chalk to reprise her role of doctor
Elliot Reid. Judie Reyess, who played Nurse Espinosa, has yet
to sign on due to a conflict with her current
role on High Potential, but Deadline reports they'll be working
to accommodate her busy schedule so that she can do
both shows at the same time. Behind the scenes, Bill Lawrence,

who created the show, will EP, and two of the
original writers will serve as showrunners. Look for Scrubs on
ABC that's direct from Hollywood.
